5'11' | 180 cm
short, curly, chocolate brown.
brown, but they often shine green in the sun.
The most distinctive things that set him apart from others are his pointed ears, that he can only hide through his illusion and misdirection magic, along with his gossamer wings that he choses (rarely) to unveil to others. He also has a tattoos of the Krimlos symbols of strength on his back. A series of blue-green circles trailing the spine that all males are required to bare.

Kheelan's style is most definitely laid back and comfortable. He hates anything that is tight fitting, not to mention it has to be loose enough that he can fold his gossamer wings into his back. He also doesn't like wearing anything that makes his body temperature too warm, so he will stick to clothing that won't suffocate him if the weather changes. He also despises wearing shoes or clothes for that matter, it's a fairy thing, to him it just feels unnatural. However, to avoid the awkwardness with others not his kind he has found that he likes the human athletic brands nike and Adidas the most.

LIKES; Naturally, Kheelan loves nature, and often has a clearer mind when he is surrounded by the lush forest or running water. He also enjoys practicing meditation, it helps keep his fae adhd in hand and also leaves him feeling much better. As a born trickster, he loves pulling pranks on others for his own sake, because he loves laughter. He also adores any kind of sweets, considering fairies are known to have quite a large sweet tooth.

DISLIKES; Kheelan hates meat, just the thought of flesh and guts makes his skin crawl. He also hates wearing shoes, he likes the feeling of the earth under his toes. As an excitable fairy he hates killjoys, anyone that threatens him having fun. He also hates leaving anything messy, as he is quite the cleanly person.

Most of who Kheelan is, comes by nature. After living in a long line of fae its difficult to stray from the temperament of your own kind. For the most part fairies would often compare themselves to artists. Kheelan, like most human artists, is quite quirky and odd. He has a weird and strange sense of looking at things that sometimes people just don't understand. Kheelan looks at the world in a different way than most, and from this he tends to be a little aloof in the world. Kheelan is also constantly buzzing with energy like some highly caffeinated loon. He is always on the go, doing God knows what, and finds it incredible hard to just sit still. Always full of life, you will never see him having a day off relaxing. He’s playful, teasing, and immensely vivacious.

Kheelan's emotions are very intense. Think of it as having human emotions but feeling everything 10x than normal. Kheelan feels the very highest of the highs and the very lowest of the lows. This can make him a little moody sometimes or just intense, you can tell when he's pissed and when he's happy.

As far as fae go, Kheelan is arguably one of the kinder ones. Though his intentions come with bite and his eyes glimmer with mischief, he's not filled with the same malicious intent as some are. He's sweet in his own way, fond of children and forest animals, and willing to offer a hand to those he favors. He is very loyal to those he deems worthy of his companionship, as trust an honor are very important to a fairy. But, at the same time the fae is deliberately contrary, a curious and devious boy who seeks his own entertainment when bored, and always tests the idea of fate.

A trickster and big flirt at heart, Khee has an easy laugh and a quick infectious smile. It's no secret that he's very charming, but behind the pretty face is a mind going a mile a minute running through thousands of sentences and words that he can put together to slip into the other persons trust.

Like his kind, lies fall short on his tongue. Khee can only speak the truth, or what he may believe to be true. This is one of his biggest faults and something he absolutely hates about being a fairy. Like others of his species, though, he has learned to weave his words to trick and waylay those too slow to see the deceit, lying by omission or only offering half truths.

Overall Kheelan is a charming ball of energy, that always crosses the line.

Kheelan's family comes from a long line of Forest Faeries known as the Krimlos. A rather secluded, but happy group of fae that resided in a section of Yellowstone national forest, their closest relatives being the Dryads. As for abilities Kheelan has picked up quite a few from the bloodline. As a fae, Kheelan has an enhanced condition making him a little faster, stronger, agile than the average human. His most powerful ability would be his Elemental Manipulation, specifically Earth and Water. Kheelan, like all fairies is also skilled in Confusion Inducement, or the ability to make others lose their way or forget what they were doing. On a smaller scale Kheelan also has the ability to manipulate/talk to animals and illusions, although these aren't his strongest. Kheelan also has a little bit of empathy manipulation, however it's only with happiness, he can make someone feel better emotionally. Finally, Kheelan can most notably fly with his wings (that he often hides from others) and can heal on a small scale.

As for weaknesses, iron and silver can make him deathly ill, and when touched by it the sensation of burning alive is felt. By nature, very shiny objects are entrancing to him, and can often get him distracted. Like most fairies, Kheelan has to tell the truth, this is something he keeps very secretive because it can easily be used against him. The sound of bells is also very distorting and painful to him.

Kheelan was born to a community of Krimlos fairies in the middle of Yellow Stone National Forest. Their small village was heavily glamoured from human eyes using a variety of the elders magic. As a child, Kheelan was fairly sheltered from the outside world and when his parents spoke of 'other magical beings' they left out quite a lot. Still, he was young and it didn't really occur to him that there was a whole other world outside that he didn't know about.

When his sister Kiyara was born, his parents focused more attention on her so Kheelan was left alone with his friends. As he grew older he began to grow more curious about the world outside his village. He started hanging out with children who spoke of monsters and fae-eating creatures that lurked in the brush beyond the forest itself. While most children would've been deathly afraid of the claims, Khee just became more curious of the outside world.

He was 12 when he first decided to venture outside of the village and only made it a few yards before he rushed back in, his fear present. However, he began inching further and further away each time, getting a little more daring with each step he took. His first encounter with humans came when he was 17. He stumbled upon a campground within the forest and it took every ounce of courage he had to not run in the opposite direction. At first he was a little confused. They looked like him, but none of them had wings or any magic at all.

On his way back one day he accidentally ran face first into on of the creatures he was spying on. It was a girl, not much older than himself. They talked briefly before Khee ran, and he started to realize that there possibly wasn't a threat at all.

He ventured back to the campground several times to meet and talk with the girl, forming an unlikely friendship between the two. Unfortunately when Kheelan decided to tell her about his life as a fae, specifically showing her his bright and colorful wings, she reacted much differently than she thought he would. She was scared of him. The real problem began when she went back and told her parents, who told the people who ran the campground, and it didn't take long for the government to catch wind of this 'crazy boy in the woods with wings sprouting from his back.

He was surprised when the girl requested they meet again, after he tried apologizing to her for scaring her. He was quite excited that she seemed to have forgive him. Unfortunately when he arrived at the campground he met several scary men and not his friend. They shackled him with some kind of metal that made his skin burn, which he'd later learn to be iron, and dragged him away screaming to a facility halfway across the country. It was then he learned the true nature of mankind, and how the stories he had heard as a child weren't so far off from the truth.

"Code Orange. Code Orange. There has been a breach in Sector 25. All personnel are to be on the look out and cautious at all times. Prisoners 001 through 006 are considered highly dangerous and immediate capture is necessary. Code Orange. Code Orange." The long and dark hallways of the facility were lit by the flash of the red emergency lights and the occasional flashlight attached to the large gun of a guard. While the facility was rather quiet at night, it was now littered with the thundering sound of the footsteps of guards, their shouts of who went where, and an alarm that echoed through the halls.

The majority of the staff was shocked they had done it. They had spent years making sure an escape was entirely impossible. They had managed to do it in about a month. While, half the staff at the hospital were frankly terrified with how they had underestimated them, the others were pissed. To them it was like a slap in the face.

"I don't care what the fuck you have to do, just bring them back, now". The head of security, General Williams, but most called him Captain due to the patch that covered his right eye. A werewolf had clawed it right out when he was twenty, and let's just say it was the fire in his veins. "Dead or alive. Just intact." He eyed each of the most qualified, skilled men and women in the facility. "Now get the hell out of my sight, and don't come back until you have each of those fuckers in front of me". With that he stormed out of the room.

32 days. 32 days he had spent locked away being poked and prodded, by people he thought were just a myth a month ago. He had spent the days aimlessly awaiting each next horror, like a sitting duck. His only moments with a free mind spent thinking of his family. Aelfric, his father, probably trying to keep the family from falling apart with his sudden dissapearance. His father was always the one that kept them above the water, and Khee could only hope that he hadn't finally cracked. Tianna, his mother, god he missed her, he knew she was a mess. His mother was very passionate and strong, but she loved her children more than she loved herself. Finally, Rhoswen, his white rose, his little sister, the thought of her was the only thing that kept him alive in that hellhole. She was the light in his life, a pure, innocent fae with a heart of gold.
__

The second his hands shoved the door into the outside world, it took everything for him not to fall to his knees in overwhelming joy. The cool breeze and light from the moon, things he would've never given a second thought, suddenly felt like the greatest things the world had to offer. He couldn't believe they had pulled it off, the plan was simplistic, yet calculated. Each of them played a small part in their escape, which had started with a pact that they'd help each other get home. Kheelan couldn't deny that together, they were a force to reckon with.

The sudden sounds of gunshots and yelling forced his legs to move, as he dashed out the door taking off for the woods that surrounded the facility. He had no idea where they were and where he was going. As long as he was very, very far away from that place. He could hear the others running, but he couldn't spare a second to see which of them were behind him. "Don't stop running!"
He yelled at the others as he neared the edge of the forest.

Just as his outstretched hand brushed the first bush at the start of the vast forest, a sharp pain suddenly struck the back of his right thigh and he let out a startled cry as he tripped, tumbling face first through the bush and into the forest. He scrambled to his feet, his thigh throbbing in pain, he could barely see his leg as he touched the wound, his hands coming back with blood. "Damnit" He'd been shot. I don't have time. I have to keep moving. Keep moving. He repeated the phrase over and over in his hand as he picked up his pace and began to run again through the woods.

The sound of soldiers got increasingly closer, and the fact that for one he couldn't see five feet in front of his face and he had a bullet lodged in his leg, didn't really help him out. His leg suddenly felt as if it had been dipped in liquid flame and he inhaled sharply at the pain, biting his lip to hold back a cry. In a last ditch effort he ducked behind a tree, 32 days shackled in iron cuffs made him forget that he was a magical being. He squeezed his eyes shut and took a rather shaky deep breath, trying to concentrate. His form rippled a little, before blending completely into the tree. He let out a very quiet breath of relief, and not a minute later a flurry of soldiers ran past the tree, completely oblivious to his concealed form. When he was sure they had all passed, he sunk to the ground his illusion slowly fading as he became visible.

He gently grabbed his leg and pressed slightly on the wound, crying out softly. Silver. Of course they had shot him with a silver bullet. He closed his eye and took a deep breath before pressing his fingers into the wound again, trying to get the bullet out. It took everything for him not to scream, what came out was a quiet guttural noise of pain, his hands trembled. "Thes, thes thes. Tysti ol, Khee ber kaer air or". He muttered quietly in Krim as he wiped the beads of sweat from his forehead. The longer the silver stayed in his system the weaker he got.

He finally realized his efforts of getting the bullet out were futile, and at this point he was merely wasting time. He needed to keep moving, find one of the others, find some place to hide. He gradually pushed himself off the ground and began to slowly limp forward, trying to block out the pain in his mind. He had escaped, they'd done it, and he wasn't going to let a gunshot wound put him right back in.

All someone could hear around Tango was gunfire, the sound of weapons charging, and magazines hitting the floor. Tango couldn’t sleep so he decided to let off some steam at the gun range. But what happened next caught him slightly off guard. The lights suddenly went off, and replaced with the flashing emergency lights, and the alarm sounded. “Code Orange? No
” Tango said in disbelief, picking up his rifle off the counter and running down the hall way towards Captain's office.

Tango weaved through other guards that were heading in all directions and scientists scrambling, Tango was the last to enter the conference room where General Williams and other skilled guards and agents were, catching just the end of the conversation, saying to get them back dead or alive and to leave, before he stormed out. Well, let’s see who is gonna end up dead and who is gonna end up staying alive. Tango thought to himself as he was the first out of the room. They have to be heading towards the front door. He thought as he took the shortest route to it, pushing past freaking out scientists.

The super naturals were barely here for a month, and yet, here they were escaping. Tango was surprised that it took this long for anyone of them to even attempt an escape, but ALL of them actually being loose at the same time? No this wasn’t just an impulse attack and try to escape, this had to be planned.

Most of the other guards were going through all rooms to make sure they were clear, but Tango knew better. The super naturals wouldn’t hide in the place they hated, they would want to get out and go somewhere that wasn’t here. As he rounded a corner he found a couple of guard’s bodies on the ground. “Yeah, they went through here.” Tango said to himself outloud as he went around the bodies, some still dripping with fresh blood. He may not be able to catch them at full speed, but all the fighting they were doing, and other guards were slowing them down. Plus, Tango doubted they would get out with no wounds, if they manage to get out at all.

Tango rounded the last corner just to look down the long hallway to see the super naturals pushing open the front door, usually it would have an electronic lock to open, but with the power out and the back-up generators not on yet, it was just a regular heavy door at this point. Tango sprinted down the hallway, almost tripping over knocked over tables, chairs, and even more bodies. The door closing behind the super naturals in his sight.

The door flew open as Tango pointed his rifle towards the forest, seeing the super naturals about to make it in. “Hey!” Tango shouted, but doubtful they would stop at his shouts, but then he saw Prisoner 002, the Vampire. “Colette!” He yelled, and she stopped for a second while the other super naturals continue to run. She had turned and faced Tango, his rifle pointing right at her. He could take the shot right now, silver bullets and all, but Tango just stood there.

Tango was staring at Colette down his sights, hesitating to pull the trigger. Before anything else could happen the front door flew open and Colette darted off. Gun fire erupted into the woods from the other guards in the door way, just trying to hit anything and shredding into the bushes. Tango quickly went back inside to gather his items while other guards rushed into the woods after the escaped prisoners. Tango had to gear up if he was going to chase them down, it wasn't going to be easy.

Pouches of salt for the Demon and Angel, silver ammunition for the Fae, Werewolf and Vampire, a silver knife incase his firearms don’t work out, and some enhanced hearing protection for the Siren. The Siren didn’t have much of a weakness that they were able to discover, but her fragile bones would still be susceptible to bullets, just would have to watch out for her talons. Tango threw on his lightweight armor, knowing when he caught up to them, he would need more than regular clothes, and headed out of his office. Tango stopped by the lab to grab a couple syringes to sedate the super naturals, along with a couple other syringes filled with different liquids, and then headed back out into the dark woods with a small group of about five guards with him. "Some blood trail in this direction, lets go." Tango said as the others followed him with their flashlights on.

and with that, they were running. the air was mild, pleasant, fresh. everything he'd missed. for a moment, as they neared the woods, he forgot. he stretched out his wings. he even managed to get airborne. but what they'd done to his wings- what they'd done to him- won out, and he crashed to the ground. but there was no time. no time to be dazed, no time to hurt. he climbed to his feet, tucked in his wings, and ran. he'd landed hard on one wrist, and it hurt, but he didn't have time. even as he got under the cover of the trees, it wasn't safe. he could hear gunfire. he'd lost the others.

oh goddamn. he'd lost everyone. he was supposed to make sure they all got out safe. where even were they? what if he needed to go back? he gritted his teeth and looked around him. the forest cover was too dense, he couldn't see anyone. it wasn't safe on the ground. he'd never had to climb a tree, and he didn't know how to start. but he needed to get up there. gritting his teeth, he spread his wings again, and hoped that he at least had enough power in them to do this.

he almost missed the branch when his wings gave out, then almost dropped it when he grabbed it with his bad hand. but he held on and climbed up. enough height to have a view point, and still be safe. it mightn't have held a person of normal weight, but as a creature of flight, it held him. just. he scanned his surroundings, holding his breath. guards came sprinting past him, not even thinking to look upwards. he exhaled and continued to watch, but instead sank into a sitting position. he was exhausted already. the testing they'd done, what he'd been subjected to... his body was still recovering. and the aftermath of the adrenaline rush wasn't helping. two minutes. two minutes and he'd keep moving.

or, at least, that was what he told himself. because then he spotted khee, limping and... was that blood? cam thought for a moment that his heart had stopped. he gritted his teeth and dropped so he was hanging from the branch, and then let go. he landed hard on one wing, but it wasn't like that was even going to affect him. he couldn't use them anyway.

"Khee," he called, so quietly, as he got to his feet. he repeated the call as he took a few steps closer to the fae. "Khee, what happened?" he asked as he got close enough to see how bad things were.

❄ The chaos in the hallways was overwhelming as the persisting flashes of red flooded her vision. They were almost to the doors, almost to their freedom when something just had to go wrong in their little escapade; after all, karma couldn’t exactly be classified as generous to one that as unnatural as her. One second, she was jogging lightly, not quite at her full speed, alongside the other prisoners, casting fleeting glances to ensure even the slowest of them were still with the group. Then the next, the smell of blood hit. It felt as though she had run into a wall, that previous effervescent feeling of hope deflating, only to be replaced by a gnawing hunger. Human blood always affected her like this, the scent always such a strong pull. More feeling than seeing, Colette knew her eyes were darkening, the overwhelming need to fill the void in her chest replacing the rational train of thought to run. Now’s not the time for this
! You can feed later, just move-! came the whispered plea, the inner sanity that always existed, dormant, when hunger visited, begged her to control her instincts. Giving an angry shake of her head, those bright tresses creating a splaying arc of fire, she tensed her body to run, to get further away from the stifling iron smell. Even in her state, the vampire was aware that the others had reached the door, and like hell was she going to be left behind. ”Colette!”. The bark of that familiar tone rose above the white noise of the chaos, piercing and commanding. Whirling on her heels, her blue eyes still noticeably darker than what would be considered safe, the vampire found herself staring down the barrel of Tango’s gun. Eyebrows knitting together in a mixture of hesitance and confusion, Colette’s mind began to race in weighing the odds if he would pull the trigger or not. An irrational sense of guilt claimed the forefront of her emotional mindscape; after all, she was running away from her word and promise to the hunter. Turn herself in and submit for the safety of her coven? That was the deal, wasn’t it? The door exploded of its hinges, however, which just served to remind her of the urgency of their situation. With a frown, Colette mustered a sympathetic whisper of ”I’m sorry
” before darting away, a blur of color the only proof that she had been there.

❄ The second the moonlight washed over skin, a rush of uncharacteristic giddiness filled her entire being. From her toes to head, the vampiress felt light, the shackled burden of the cell behind her. Well, not fully...undoubtedly, the jailers of the supernaturals wouldn’t give up easily. Running at half of her vampiric speed, choosing to rather conserve her energy than waste it from the get go, Cole’s form was a zipping shadow between the trees. Having removed herself from the excessive amounts of human blood, her hunger was gradually disappearing, her eyes becoming lighter. I should probably try to find the others
.who knows where they all ran off to.. Halting to a full stop in the middle of a small clearing, the supernatural placed her hands on her hips as she scanned the forest. Thankfully, they had escaped during the night; it was, after all, the time of day that belonged to her species. With unparalleled night vision, the forest appeared to her how it to the others during the day. Nothing could hide in the shadows from her sight, an ability she was thankful for in this moment. Hearing the distance shouts of the humans, a small smile danced on her lips knowing full and well she had outrun them by several yards. Cracking her lips to, discreetly, inhale the scents around her, the worrisome scent of inhuman blood hit her again. However, this time, it was faint, and there was another trace that was intertwined with it Camael and Kheelan
.They’re pretty far away. I must have overshot them while running. But whose bleeding?. Gnawing, subconsciously, on her lower lip, worry preoccupied her when she realised they were still too close to the facility for comfort. With mild hestitance, the vampire took off in a blurring run once more to the location of the angel and fae.

❄ As she approached the two, the smell of blood made it apparent that it was the fae who had been injured. Finding it easier to combat her hunger when presented with supernatural blood, rather than human, Cole approached to the two before folding her arms together. ”What happened? You guys stopped too close
should have kept running.”. Eyes landing the gun wound, a small ‘tch’ escaped the vampiress as she tried to think over the possibilities. Subconsciously, she was counting down from 100 to keep her attention focused on something other than the bleeding wound. ”Do you know where the others are? We need to keep moving.”. Scanning the trees, once again, for any sign of life, her gaze rested on the angel, ”I might have to carry him, what about you? Are you injured?”

Joah had never particularly felt strongly about running one way or the other, but feeling the muscles in his legs stretch and pull and work after over a month of being cooped up was a revelation. The rest of the group scattered, going in all different directions toward the thick brush in front of them.

Really, it was poor planning, he thought, still running. If you're going to put a prison in the middle of the woods instead of on a plain with high visibility, you deserve to have your prisoners escape. Well, they deserved to have their prisoners escape for a lot of reasons.

He left those thoughts behind him as he ran, the popopops of gunfire following them all and the crunch of pine needles under the thin soles of his government issued shoes. No sooner had he hit the first line of cover than he heard a cry of pain ring in the air. Someone had been hit. He didn't hesitate. The zigzag pattern he'd been running in wove around trees and bushes, pushing toward his best estimate of where the injured party would be.

A sick knot pulled in his gut, urging him away from his path. Only one thing had ever felt so foreboding. The angel. It was as good a bet as any, so Joah took it. He followed the nausea exactly in the direction it wanted him to avoid. Every long stride pooled in his stomach until he smelled the sparkling metal of fae blood and the overwhelming rot of an angel. There, pushing himself weakly off the ground, was Kheelan. The angel stood in front of him, hovering uselessly, and Colette had beaten Joah to him by seconds.

"For fuck's sakes, Kheelan," Joah whispered sharply, "you're going to hurt yourself more."

"Can you carry him and still run?" he asked Colette. "If we get out of here, we can find a drugstore and take care of this."

He looked up at the trees--the towering evergreens and peeling birches--for the first time since their escape. It didn't exactly narrow down their location at all, and they were still missing two people.

"Does anyone actually know where we are?"

Kheelan was making slow progress through the woods, trying hard not to mutter a string of Krim curses along the way. Of course, he would be the one to get hurt. Fairy luck was nothing but bullshit if you'd ask him.

He stopped rather abruptly when he heard a powerful gust of wind and a sudden breeze tickled the back of his neck. He turned sharply to see Cam, the angel push himself of the ground. If Khee wouldn't have been shot in the leg he would be rather excited that the angel had come to his rescue. "Khee,"
Cam called out quietly to him and moved closer. "Khee, what happened?" The angel was now close enough to probably see and smell the dark patch of blood on the back of his leg. "Oh just got shot with a little silver" he spoke quietly through gritted teeth but tried to speak in a delighted (yet still sarcastic) tone. "Nothing I can't handle!" He winked at the angel, but his expression faltered as his leg throbbed again.

”What happened? You guys stopped too close
should have kept running.” Khee nearly jumped out of his skin at the apparent presence of the vampire. "Jesus, I know we're supposed to be quiet an all but you gave a poor fae a heart attack", leave it up to Khee to try and maintain his positive and goofy self in times of crisis. ”Do you know where the others are? We need to keep moving.” Khee shook his head, "I lost everyone the moment we ran out the door". After staring at Colette for a moment he started to notice her discomfort and became a little nervous. In the moment he completely forgot that she fed on blood, which he currently was supplying. ”I might have to carry him, what about you? Are you injured?” Kheelan was about to preach how her carrying him was probably not the best idea, when Joah decided to make a rather grandeur entrance from the trees.

"For fuck's sakes, Kheelan," Joah whispered sharply, "you're going to hurt yourself more." Kheelan gestured to his leg, "I'm sorry but I can't exactly heal with a damn silver bullet lodged in my leg".

Joah disregarded his comment, typical Khee was still working on their friendship, "Can you carry him and still run?" he asked Colette. "If we get out of here, we can find a drugstore and take care of this." Kheelan opened his mouth to express his thoughts on the plan but Joah spoke again. "Does anyone actually know where we are?"

Kheelan finally interjected holding up a hand, interrupting the others. "I'm sorry but can we take a moment to realize that me Tarzan-ing on the back of a vampire, while I'm bleeding is probably not the best idea? I mean - no offense - but I'm not looking to be Colette's snack on her late night run!" He whispered both scared, exasperated, and frustrated. Not to mention, the stories of fae blood and vamps where enough to make him more than a little nervous.

Tango looked up after looking at some electronic device, showing most of the surrounding area divided up into sectors like a grid with two flashing blips on it. “You three.” Tango said pointing at the other soldiers. “Go half a click into Charlie Sector and then go North. Me, Johnson, and Smith are going to continue and see if we can cut any of them off. Keep in radio contact.” Tango said leading two while three others split off. He knew most of the surrounding area pretty good, since the government bought most of the land out here and labeled it as a “conservative” to keep locals away, he would just have to catch up to the super naturals before they got outside the area, he had a couple hours at least.

“Tango, how are we supposed to catch up to these super naturals? They are like way faster than us.” One of the guards commented to Tango, and he wasn’t wrong, going at full speed they had little to no chance to catching them. “Listen, we will catch them. If you want to go back and tell Captain about not catching them, go be my guest.” Tango commented as he pushed through bushes. “Plus, I have some tricks up my sleeve for them. Now do us all a favor and be quiet.”

As Tango’s group continued, his radio spoke up, whispering coming through. “Tango this is Team Two. We have eyes on some of the super naturals, edge of Charlie Sector. One looks injured, talking abo-“ The radio cut out all of the sudden, no scratch, no static, just cut out. “Come in Team Two, come in. This is Tango, repeat transmission.” Said into his radio, but no response. “We continue on our path, if they got spotted or engaged, the super naturals are going to move. There’s some abandoned buildings they might find, and if they have an injury like Team Two said, they won’t be moving fast.”

Wonder who is injured. If it’s Colette, she can heal fast. But they also have the Angel who can heal. Then again, silver bullets aren’t all that easy to deal with. Tango thought to himself

Camael grimaced as Khee revealed he'd been shot with silver. He didn't know much about the fae race as a whole, but he had gathered that silver was a weakness for him over the brief time they'd known each other. And suddenly his wrist seemed like nothing. It seemed that everyone else emerged from the woods around them. He rolled his eyes as Colette chastised them for not continuing to run. Like they could when Khee was that injured. And Camael wasn't going to leave anyone behind, especially not Kheelan. He was about to answer Colette to say that he was fine, really, when he felt a presence, one that felt like the equivalent of a bad smell, something that almost physically repelled him. Demon. He bit his tongue and folded his arms, scowling slightly.

And then Khee had an outburst. He had a point. Cam didn't know how good her control was, but he understood her concern. He looked at those gathered, and made a decision that he was sure he would probably regret. He was injured but a sprained, even a broken wrist... he'd deal with it. It couldn't be made that much worse. And Khee really couldn't move like that, and they didn't have the time for someone to try and dig out the bullet. They needed to get somewhere safe and secure for them to do that, they weren't going to do that when they were on the move. Nobody was that foolish. But maybe he was foolish enough to take a risk.

"I can carry you," he said. "I'm stronger than I look, I can manage him." Even as he was speaking, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. "Guys. We need to move. Now." He said. "If they haven't caught up to us, they will now." He didn't know how quickly he'd be able to move with Kheelan with him, but it had to be quicker than the humans could. He didn't know how fae blood compared to human blood either. He didn't know how he'd manage, but he knew that they needed to get moving, and now. Something was wrong, something was very wrong. He could feel it. If they got a head start, they might be okay, but if they didn't get moving again, they were seriously at risk of being caught. He looked at Joah. They'd made a pact to get everyone out, so he needed the demon's support in this.

She shifted on pure instinct. Finger nails sprouting into claws, eyes fading to a bright yellow; it wasn't a full shift, it was absurd to even attempt such a thing, but she was sure she'd need to use her powers if they were going to escape succesfully. As soon as they were outside, they all disappeared into the forest. It was a momentarily freeing experience, but she kept her head. They weren't in the clear yet, and all the soldiers the government had available would be on their heels.

Though she couldn't see the others, their scents gave a decent idea of where they were. It was a fragile alliance that they had formed between the six of them, but it seemed to be working out in the favor so far. Sybil only hoped it wouldn't get them all killed.

Even with as far she'd run, she could still hear the distant shouts of the soldiers frantically searching for them. One would think that the government would want to keep them alive, considering how much money has probably been spent on the project, but there were numerous gun shots going off. They weren't holding anything back. They're not really concerned about losing all six of their investments, are they?

That thought only pushed her to keep running, knowing full well they'd be using silver bullets. She couldn't afford to get shot now, not when they were so close to making it. But apparently someone else would be the one slowing them down. The scent of blood overwhelmed her senses, and immediately she began following it to its source. Sybil was hoping against hope that one of them had just gotten a hit on one of the soldiers, but a sinking filling in her gut was telling her the very opposite. It wasn't long before she caught sight of four silhouettes, her night vision making it easier to see that it was the others.

Khee, Colette, Joah, and Camael. And it was clear that Khee was the one who had been injured.

"Shit." Sybil kept her distance from them. If there was any sign of trouble, she wanted to be the one to see it first. She would distract if she'd have to, if it meant increasing their chances of escaping. This really is the worse case scenario. She stayed crouched in the forest underbrush, hidden from immediate sight. They were taking far too long to sort this out, and it was starting to make her anxious. She wanted nothing more but to get as far away from this place as possible, even if it meant leaving the rest of them behind. But they had all made a deal together, and she was going to do her best to stick to it. It seemed silly, especially to someone usually only concerned with their own self preservation.

The crunching of leaves in the distance seemed all too loud to her ears as they drew closer and closer to the group. There were multiple footsteps. A group of soldiers had found them. Staying as close to the ground as she could, she did her best to flank them.

"Tango this is Team Two. We have eyes on some of the supernaturals, edge of Charlie Sector. One looks injured, talking abo-"

She tackled the one with the radio first. The other two took aim with their weapons and managed to fire off wayward bullets that made no contact, but they soon went down as well. No need to kill them, but they'd be unconscious for a while.

Sybil was lucky to have the element of surprise on her side, and she made sure to take the batteries out of the radio so that it would no longer be of use. There was no point in trying to be subtle now. The other soldiers surely would've heard the gunshots and might've already started heading towards their direction. They were operating on a now further limited amount of time now. She approached the rest of the group, making sure to keep an eye on the rest of their surroundings.

"We need to get moving; more of them are going to be coming soon. Figure something out and keep going."

Joah blinked at Kheelan. It was a point he hadn't considered—that Colette might hurt or even kill him if she had to spend that long surrounded by the smell of blood. She was almost definitely the strongest of those gathered, but it wouldn't mean anything if she lost control. As precious seconds sprinted by, however, Joah felt the trees move in on them.

"We can fix it," he said quietly. "As soon as we get out of here."

"I can carry you. I'm stronger than I look,"
the angel said. Joah gave him a dubious look. It was hard to believe something so delicate could carry even its own weight.

Two shots ripped through the still air of the night and pulled his head toward the sound. Mere seconds later, Sibyl appeared out of the trees with the brutish look of a warrior fresh from battle.

"We need to get moving," she said; "more of them are going to be coming soon. Figure something out and keep going."

Joah's eyes snapped back to Kheelan, blood still flowing unhindered down his leg. It didn't show any signs of stopping, and it probably wouldn't until the bullet was removed. They were running out of time. Each second was another chance for them to be killed or captured, and at the moment, Joah didn't know which would be worse. He looked at the angel.

"It's you or me, Bird Bones," he said to Camael. "You choose, but do it fast. The rest of us are going to have to forge the path and head off any other unwanted attention."
