She committed her first offence at the age of 15, and was sent to juvie for destroying public property. After she got out, she started to drink and smoke., which caused her parents to worry about her. When they expressed concern for their daughter however, Alexandra cut them off. She dropped out of school when she was 17, and moved away from her parents. Taking a variety of jobs, some of which being: Bartender, Gun Store clerk, and roadkill cleaner, she began to forge her own path. Unfortunately, because of her growing psychosis, she was fired from many of her jobs. Now at 20 years old, she has managed to keep only a few steady jobs, and despite her current position, is content with her life.

It was a quiet Saturday morning, more like time for lunch but since Vincent had not felt like getting out of bed when he woke up the first time he was still in there. It was not because he was tired, it was more like his whole body was protesting so he was not that urged to move. He felt a bit bruised, most likely because he had got a bit beaten up at yesterday’s mission. Still there was no bruise to be found on his body, it was only a play of his mind - since he was aware of the fact that he had gotten extreme amounts of metal in him. The part that was the worst was getting them out of the healed wounds however, because that was not something the body did by itself and sometimes the projectiles do get stuck in there. The operations to get them out was not something Vincent would recommend to anyone. It was mostly ripping the metal out of his body before the opening had closed up again. And now he felt exhausted after spending the first hours of the night on the operation table.

But after a couple of more moments of hiding his face in the softness of the pillow he crawled out of bed like a sloth. When he was done stretching out his stiff body, waking up the somewhat completely naked body before he even consider dressing himself. But hey, it was his room and no one was allowed to enter it like he avoided to enter the other rooms as well.

As the body started to loosen up he stepped over to his closet and started to dress up. But the only thing he actually put on was his usually black jeans while he only took out a white t-shirt and the leather jacket so he could carry them with him out of the room. Sure they shared a big house, these so called "siblings", but no there wasn't bathrooms attached to every room and that was why Vincent walked around bare chested inside the house without even the slightest shame.

It wasn't a long way from his room to one of the bathrooms and when he was inside he took that much needed shower before dressing up completely. As he left the room he couldn't help but notice that someone had tampered with the decor so as he walked pass it he fixed it. It had to look like it usually did, no exception. When done he went down the stairs and even if there was people around the house he didn't bother with greeting them, like the nice and friendly person he was. He just walked inside the living room over to the bookshelf and started to inspect the content. Controlling that it still was the way he had left them before going away on the mission, this was not his books it was those the whole family shared. Or you could call it a cover and things the organization had left them so that they had things to play around with when they weren't working. But in Vincent’s mind all of these was his and his only. No one could screw up his order, he had made it all so pretty.

But he had no intention to read anything this day, just check that Flynn hadn’t been there touching Vincent’s books. No, he had something else to do today. Gardening. The garden had looked dreadful yesterday when they came home, at least in Vincent’s opinion. Other than that Vincent also believed that he had been indoors for too long by now - in his opinion. As long as it wasn't too sunny outside he preferred to be outdoors anyway, more space between him and the other's then. More space for him to be alone in. Inside the house it was almost impossible not to have people breathing down his neck if not being locked up inside his personal room, which wasn’t too fun after a while.

As he walked out through the door he glanced slightly upwards, a cloudy day. A perfect day. He walked over to the shed to collect the things he needed before he crouched down beside his favorite flowerbed, the one with the reddest roses of them all, and started to work.

Alex woke up with a start, bolting to a sitting position. Her heart hammering in her chest. The nightmares were getting worse. Tiredly, Alex ran the palm of her hand across her face, and looked around the bedroom of her apartment. The blanket was dipping of the side of the bed, and only covered her left foot, and her pillows had been pushed to the foot of the bed. Groaning, Alex grabbed the pillows, and tossed them back in their usual spot; sliding off of the soft comfort of the bed, she wadded up the blanket and threw it back on.

Moving sluggishly, she made her way to the bathroom, and turned on the light. A tired looking, bedraggled woman stared back at Alex. "Ew", she muttered opening the cabinet next to her, and pulling out a bottle of pills. Taking one out, she set it on her tongue, bent down and drank from the faucet, feeling the pill slide down her throat along with the water. She put the bottle back in its place and went to the shower, turning the nob for water.

After a few wonderful minuets in a warm shower, Alex stepped out, and turned off the water. She dried herself off, and dressed in a black tank top, and jeans. Moving to the kitchen, she started to randomly hum different songs to herself. After making and eating breakfast, which was really all just waffles and a smoothie, Alex turned on the TV and flipped up into a handstand. I wish the world wasn't such a messed up place. Well, if it wasn't we wouldn't have guns. I like guns", she grunted to herself only half paying attention to what was on the TV. When she was done, she pulled on a worn pair of combat boots, looped her arms through a jacket, and pulled a beanie down over her hair. She walked out of her apartment and locked the door behind her, jogging to the ground floor, and outside.

Alex stretched, enjoying the fresh air. Slowly, she rolled her neck, feeling the joints pop, and crack, and groaning in pleasure. Slowly, she started walking. As she walked she tried to remember the events of her nightmare, but for some reason couldn't. Her previous thoughts all faded; however, when the book store came into veiw, and she eagerly picked up her pace.

"Ello! Mr. Elliott, im back! Got anything good on the shelves?", she said loudly, just in case Elliott was in the back. Since Alex's psychosis was getting worse, her psychiatrist had told her to occupy her mind. And what better way to occupy her thoughts then with a good book. It had been a little awkward at first, a girl like Alex walking into a book store, but after a while it had began to feel like a fourth home, aside from: her apartment, the gun store, and the bar, respectively.

It was an ordinary day in his ordinary life, Elliott had been placed in one of the armchairs most of the time with one of the books he was supposed to sell. His feet’s was placed on the small desk in front of him as well when the doorbell made its pretty sound. He didn't think much of it at first, he stayed inside his chair. Thinking that the one out there could get some time by themselves so he would be able to finish the page he was one.

It was just pass lunch time, at least he had just eaten some lunch, and this was today’s first visitor. He wouldn't be that surprised if it was the only visitor as well. It was not like this was a convenient store, people didn't need new books every day. But they always returned in the end, until those new E-books came into the picture. And the internet with its ridiculous low prices. Elliott couldn't help but frown at the thought, things were so much smoother some years back.

Once finished with the page he put down the book on the table and stood up, he didn't make his way out to the actual store just yet though. There was another sound that caught his attention, a sound from the stow. A high-pitched shout from the small kettle that had been there for a while now. As he turned the knob on the stow around to turn off the heat and moved object of interest a well-known voice was heard from the main area, "Ello! Mr. Elliott, I’m back! Got anything good on the shelves?"

Overjoyed by the sudden visitor Elliott didn't even take time to prepare that cup of tea had been waiting for. Instead he rushed out from the back of the store, making the bead curtain clatter as he passed through it, "Alex! Good to see you! How are things? Good I hope! Do you want some tea? I just prepared some water!" As always he wore that dumb grin of his, looking like some naïve kid. "Oh, oh, oh, books huh? Oh, yeah I have lots of good things! What are you interested in? The usual? And tea I hope!"

Still wearing that dumb grin he started to scatter around the shop, dragging his finger over the books on the shelfs.

Flynn was muttering to himself, reading through the reports from the night before and nights before that. A concerned expression covered his face, making the wrinkles even more prominent than usual. He somehow looked even older than he actually was where he sat in his study while doing all the reading. Writing down small notes in his logbook as he did, high lightening things from reports from months ago. Not only from the Hunters, these were reports from many others. But there were things within them that made him show such an unfitting expression for a man like him.

After a heavy sigh he closed all of the maps and stored them in their right places in the drawer once more and locked it. He figured he would need something a lot safer for those sometime soon but that had to wait a bit more, he would figure it out once the others were gone. He couldn't risk them finding out he needed something like that, he feared that would only trigger them to finding out what it was. Make them actually search for some sort of answer. No. He didn't want that. He couldn't deal with that. It was hard enough to keep up with them at this rate.

After another moment of sitting at the desk with his face leaned onto his hands he stood up and left the room, the earlier facial expression were nowhere to be found. He was his usual self. Once out in the downstairs corridor he could hear the television from the living room, figuring he could take a peak on who it was before he would need to go and ask Olsen for help when it came to sending the files he had with him to HQ. A report on yesterday’s mission and every little detail about it, nothing unusual. He always let Olsen handle those sorts of things, simply because he couldn't do it by himself and it was beneath him to ask for a lesson on how to do it as well.

He wasn't that surprised to find Iris in front of the television, she was one of those that was most likely to be there actually. All these kids... they were so strange. Every single one of them with some sort of quirky habit of theirs. Strange indeed. Flynn wasn't sure Iris had actually noticed his presence so in case she hadn't he cleared his throat first, letting her know he was there, "Well, if it isn't Iris. I see that you have some free time to watch..." He glanced towards the screen and adjusted the glasses, he didn't know what that show was, "Something. But as I recall, I've seen your room looking like a mess this past week. You've been telling me that you didn't have any time to clean it because of studies but I can't see that you are studying right now child. Am I supposed to believe that you've already washed the clothes that you have collecting in that room of yours?"

As the sun shone through her window Mira groaned and rolled onto her side, throwing an arm over her eyes. She hadn't been able to fall asleep, having spent the whole night tossing and turning. A few moments later a beeping sound went off causing her to cry out and literally jump out of bed. Once she untangled herself from her comforter Mira looked up at the device on her bedside table with wide eyes. As she sat there the sound emitting from the device continued to get louder and she grabbed it, pressing random buttons until the ear-splitting sound stopped. Dropping the device she left out a sigh and threw herself back onto her bed. 'If I knew the damn thing would give me a heart attack I never would have gotten it...' Face down on her bed Mira drifted back to sleep, the sun rising inch by inch outside her window.

~Four Hours Later~

With a scream Mira pushed herself up, looking around the room in fear. It only took her a few moments to recognize the bedroom as her own, even with how new it was. Climbing out of bed Mira padded over to the bathroom and got into the shower. An hour later she emerged from the bathroom and walked into the kitchen. As she grabbed an apple from a bowl on the counter she noticed the time on the stove and swore. Hurrying Mira pulled on her shoes, grabbed her purse and jacket, and rushed out of her apartment. Running down the street Mira swore under he breath. 'Shit... I don't think I've been on time once this week...' As she reached the bookstore she stopped outside the front door to catch her breath. Checking her phone Mira winced at the large numbers that read 1:05. 'Four hours and five minutes late... Hopefully he won't fire me...

Mira looked up startled when Alex burst into the bookshop. "Ello! Mr. Elliott, I’m back! Got anything good on the shelves?" Ducking her head Mira grabbed a broom and started to sweep on the opposite side of the small shop as Elliott exited the back of the shop. While she knew he had been back there she hadn't spoken to him since she arrived ten minutes ago hoping he would ignore or, impossibly, not notice her lateness. "Alex! Good to see you! How are things? Good I hope! Do you want some tea? I just prepared some water!" Mira looked over at the two before quickly looking away, not wanting to eavesdrop. Despite her attempts she could still clearly hear Elliott. "Oh, oh, oh, books huh? Oh, yeah I have lots of good things! What are you interested in? The usual? And tea I hope!" As Elliott started to flitter around the shop Mira quickly swept the pile she had made into a dust pan and dumped it into the trashcan. Taking refuge behind the counter Mira grabbed a rag and started to wipe the already shiny surface down.

Alex waved as Elliot came rushing through the door at the back of the book store, "Alex! Good to see you! How are things? Good I hope! Do you want some tea? I just prepared some water!". Alex laughed, "Things are well. Things are well. Um, tea? Sure", she could barely get her sentence off before Elliot rushed off again, "Oh, oh, oh, books huh? Oh, yeah I have lots of good things! What are you interested in? The usual? And tea I hope!".

As Elliot retreated back into the store, Alex began to meander through the aisle, Well, im through with Sci-fi for the week. Im feeling kind of adventurous. Got any good fantasy?", she asked running a finger across the spines of the books. While Alex didn't really enjoy tea all that much, it was once again, one of the things that her psychiatrist had told her to keep her calm, and her mind occupied. While she couldn't say she enjoyed the taste of most tea, it did put her mind in a nice state. Yeah, I'll stay for tea. Hey, is Mira here today?", she asked poking her head out from between the aisle to look for the green hair girl.

Voices? Was this a bad time perhaps? Flynn wasn't sure about what he had heard from behind that door but he was pretty sure he had heard voices, or at least he thought so. He were positive he had heard Olsen speak, but there had been another one as well. One he didn't know if he had heard before. Which felt a bit awkward because if Olsen had company in there Flynn would need to excuse himself and wait for that companion to leave. And well, none of that seemed that interesting at the moment.

But he was curious. So curious that he almost leaned in towards the door and put his ear towards it so he could listen if there was something more to be said. But good thing was that he didn't do that because just some seconds after the idea had entered his head the door flung open, “Hey Old Man! What brings you around these parts?" You always have to seize the opportunity and that was what Flynn did, he glanced around the room as Olsen spoke. Searching after the source to the second voice. But strangely enough he didn't see anything. “What d’ya got for me?”

Back to reality, Flynn stopped scanning the room for visitors and looked directly towards Olsen, "I heard voices, is there someone in there?" If there was he wouldn't be able to ask for help with the first or the second task he needed some help with. He had gotten a notice, there was some documents he needed to be downloaded. Or something like that. Yeah, but he couldn't ask Olsen for something like that if there was someone in the room. Too many secrets inside of those documents.

It was a quiet afternoon, he got to do what he liked to do. He was alone. He enjoyed himself. It was a good afternoon. Until disaster strikes. A rainbow colored and sparkly freaking explosion. At least it felt like one when the pink haired girl opened the backdoor. Vincent only glanced towards her, paying her no attention at first. He only turned his back a little bit more towards the house, trying to shut her out of his zone of interest.

It was easier said than done. It didn't take much time until his whole afternoon was ruined, feeling the presence of her just next to him. It was that slight itchy feeling on his skin, making a shiver go down his spine. The energy level dropped to zero in just a matter of seconds. Even before she had started to speak he had started to consider the option of going back to his room to sleep instead. At least at those times he didn't need to socialize with her at those times.

"Vinnie, Olsen got Percy and me pregnant!"
What? Thrown off guard Vincent looked up at the kid, just to be greeted by two pregnancy tests being shoved in his face. Could this afternoon get worse? Probably not. "Olsen used the - the language of love on us! Mademoiselle Vincent, he did! We couldn't resist! What do we do? We're totally gonna get so faaaaaat."

Mademoiselle? He could only stare at the pack of energy in front of him. He had no idea what he was supposed to answer. Did she really call him Mademoiselle? In the end he grunted out, "Ya nenavizhu tebya tak sil'no. What are you talking about? Pregnant? Just get those things out of my face!" He was about to raise his hand and just hit them out of her hand just to get them away when he realized how you made such a test. Instead he just backed away with a nauseous feeling in his gut. "And don't call me Mademoiselle, ublyudok!"

In the corner of his eye Elliott noticed another figure moving in his store, well if it wasn't the lost princess. Late again. Sleeping beauty? Yeah probably. But he wasn't mad, he couldn't stay mad at her when she helped him so much. She usually kept him company when there wasn't any customers as well. He couldn't stay mad for long so before he went through the beads again he glanced towards Mirabelle, "Do you want some tea as well, Mirabelle?"

He didn't wait for an answer however, he just passed through the beads. Letting them make their little clatter noise and then went directly towards the kitchen part. There he started to prepare the tray with the kettle and three cups.

"Well, I’m through with Sci-fi for the week. I’m feeling kind of adventurous. Got any good fantasy?" Fantasy, yeah he had a lot of that. Somewhere. Once more he passed through the beads and put the tray on the small side table with the two armchairs. Yeah, he went all in for this cozy old library feeling inside his store. The whole store was covered in dark wood shelves as well. He loved it!

Once he was done he walked around a bit more and picked out some books, not sure if he had handed those to Alex before or not. But he put them on the side table as well, five of them, "These are great! I can pick out something else in case you already has read them." By now he had already placed himself on the office chair behind the counter and rolled it over to the armchairs so he could prepare his tea finally.

"Do you want some tea as well, Mirabelle?" It took Mira a second to register that Mirabelle meant her but by the time she went to respond he had already disappeared into the back room. Mira grabbed a few books on the counter, left out from a late night customer who couldn't make up his mind, and went to put them away. "Well, I’m through with Sci-fi for the week. I’m feeling kind of adventurous. Got any good fantasy?" As she moved towards the shelves she heard the beads rattle as Elliot emerged from the back room again. She watched him set down the tray and then go around the store picking out a few books. As he moved she finished putting away the books in her hands and memorized where he took each book from. As he went back to the side table Mira retreated to the back room briefly. "These are great! I can pick out something else in case you already have read them."

Mira rummaged in the back room, tidying up and looking through boxes of unshelved books until Alex's question caught her attention. "Hey, is Mira here today?" Mira suddenly realized that, on instinct, she had kept herself hidden from sight. Muttering under her breath about remembering where she was Mira came out of the back room and waved at Alex with a smile. With her other hand she held copies of some of the books bought the day before so that she could restock them. In a bright, cheery voice she responded. "Hey Alex! How did you like the Sci-fi book? It was about space travel right?" Mira could remember the picture of the space ship on the front of the book but she couldn't remember if it had been about aliens or space travel. 'Then again I could be wrong. It can happen...' Mira giggled and shook her head at herself as she went to restock the books.

Alex walked out of the aisle, and sat down in an armchair; closing her eyes, and enjoying the silence of the bookstore. Scooting further into the chair, Alex sighed; the bookstore was homey. Sometimes she would just come to relax, and not even read, it was sure better then hanging out at a loud bar, or gun shop all day. At least here she could have some peace and quiet.

"These are great! I can pick out something else in case you already have read them." Elliott said, returning her to the world. Alex heard the thump of books on the table next to her, and opened her eyes. Inspecting the first novel, she flipped it over and began to read the synopsis on the back. "No, no. I think some of these will be fine", she replied. She looked up as Maria poked her head out from behind the door to the back room, and waved in return, "It was fine, and yes it was about space travel. I did think a few of the minor characters were kind of dry though. Still, it was a good read", she replied crossing her legs.
