Our Camp has 2 large log cabins with enough food for 1 week, various seeds, rope, weapons, baby supplies and enough beds or everyone. To the right there is a forest that went on for about 20 acres. To the left about 3 miles away a herd of wild cows and goat graze lazily. And beyond that wild horses run freely. Indiana's soil is dark and rich, perfect for cultivating. A small freshwater stream is to the rear of the camp. Approximately 20 miles away, a river with salt deposits lies. Wild corn and soybeans grow nearby, and apple trees as well. Underground, there is a small breeding center. It mixes blood to create children.

In the ruins of Nashville, Tennessee, a group of young adults are herded in to atransport unit. A woman with her hair pulled back into a neat bun did a headcount of all the kids. She was wearing a lab coat and was holding a clipboard. "Today, you will make history. You young adults are the future of the world. In these debriefing packets are everything you need to know." She handed them each a thick pamphlet filled with instructions, informations, and survival tips.
Adam held the pamphlet, weighing it in his hands. He flipped through the first several pages. He sighed with exhaustion and put the pamphlet on his lap.
Thorn was standing at front of the unit, Aaron standing next to her. His arms were folded. Thorn handed her pamphlet to Aaron as she had been researching the program for years.
The woman continued, "You will be transported to the area once known as Indiana. There is a campsite with enough food for a week. You will have to work the land to acquire the neccesary resources. Some of you voluteered, some of you are here on prision leave, regardless, you are giving the human race a second chance. So in short, dont screw this up."

Adam kept listening to the woman even though he would immediately disregard anything and everything she says. His eyes wander around and spot two teens standing up. One male, one female. Adam keeps his gaze on the girl.
Marsha looked at the lady with red hair. She was pretty but Marsha's long brown hair she preferred. She looked at the people around there was a good looking male that was standing near a female. She wondered if they were allowed to talk to each other before things happened.

"There will be axes, knives and swords, but in limited supply." The woman said, looking down at her clipboard. "Underground, there is a small breeding center. It mixes blood to create children, unless, of course, you want to reproduce the old fashioned way. Our new system is much more efficient though."
A few kids whooped and cheered when she mentioned "the old-fashioned way." Thorn was among the cheering kids, but Aaron didnt move.

She wasn't cheering but she hoped and prayed she could be doing the old fashioned way since thats how she felt. She looked of at the guy Aaron and with that she made it her duty to say hello. She walked over and smiled. "You don't look to happy." She said looking at him with a small smile.

Thorn leaned against the wall and played with a switchblade. Aaron just looked down at the girl and shrugged.
Adam glanced at the blade in her hand and turned his head. He took a deep breath and turned back. Adam saw a girl approach what seemed to be the one girl's brother. Adam slowly got up from his seat and walked towards the girl with the switch blade.
"Ah shy are we?" She asked him with a smile hoping to make conversation get someone to talk too. She was really a person who needed to be with people and talk.
Thorn pointed the switchblade in Adam's direction, her gaze harsh and intimidating. She stood close to Aaron, who was still holding their pamphlets. Aaron just nodded at the girl. He was a man of few words.
Adam stopped in his tracks, but resumed walking. He knows he has nothing to lose at this point. He stood right across from the girl "Do you feel tough holding that?"

Thorn hissed through gritted teeth and put the blade to his neck. "You had better shut up if you know whats good for you. Aaron glared at Adam and snarled, cracking his knuckles.
Adam ran his hand through his own hair. He looked over at Aaron and gave him a light playful slap on the cheek "Calm down, bud." Adam smirked as he joked with the raging boy. He turned his focus back on Thorn and gave her a smile.

Adam felt the blade cut him. He instantly touched the cut lightly and peered at the blood on his hand. He gave Aaron a stern look, and flashed a smile at Thorn before he saw the door open and went out of the transport.

The woman made sure everyone had left the transport unit and drove away afterward, leaving the group of about 18 kids to fend for themselves.
Aaron snarled and punched Adam in the gut before grabbing an axe and taking a small group of men to go collect lumber.
Thorn snicked at the punch, the grabbed Adam by the wrist and took him into one of the log cabins. She pushed him onto one of the beds. Then looked around the room for medical supplies.

"I didn't know you were so serious about us. I mean we just met." Adam joked as he watched her search for medical supplies from the bed he was on. He slipped his shirt off to see if there was a bruise from the punch. He laid back and waited.

Thorn found some bandages, ointment, and something to help with bruises. She flipped him off for his comment and turned around to find him shirtless. Rolling her eyes, she slathered some ointment on his cheek. She put a bandage over the ointment covered cut, and handed him the cream for his bruise."Prick."
Adam took the cream and rubbed it over his bruise "Sorry." He sat up on the bed and looked at her "Do you think breeding is something you wanna do? We don't have much of an option, but do you think you can live knowing you have a kid in this world?"

She sat on the bed across from him and shrugged. "I dont have much of a choice. These kids need a leader, that's why i volunteered. I'm not much of the mothering type..but some girls volunteered just to take care of this kids. We need to build a nursery and corral for the animals as soon as possible. The animals are a good food source and the horses are needed for travel..Soon couples will hook up and want their own houses..so we need to get to work."
"Yeah it all comes together like that." Adam looked over at the medical supplies "You think there are condoms over there? You know... if you just wanna hold off on a family." Adam sighed and cracked his back "I'll start working with your brother in a bit then if we need to start building homes."
