Nova is a feline mutant. Like all felines, she has the ability to see visions and create force fields, something that has kept her alive and somewhat safe from the scientists and their prodding needles and painful experiments.

Nova has bright emerald eyes and deep black hair, causing a shocking contrast being paired with her pale skin. She has a black V'ish shaped heart just under her bellybutton that spreads to her hips. Its a birthmark, on her familiar, its the only white spot on her body. Like all the mutants, she has her mutant mark, hers being in the center of her back along her spine, and her scars from the testings, but just not as many, considering half the time she created a force field around herself for protection. Like other felines, she is short and slim, but she has made herself strong for her size due to her paranoia, just in case of the unlikely event of her force field failing.

::PERSONALITY & HISTORY::
Personality:
Solitary and confident, Nova lets Absynthe dictate her. She is horribly picky, determined and defiant. She does what she wants, when she wants, and hates when shes denied. This being one of the reasons she hated being locked in a cage.
Nova is also very moody. If she chooses to be, she can be very loving and cuddly. Demanding attention from her chosen subject, and not letting them rest until she has it. Then there are times where she doesn't want to even be touched and is more apt to bite whoever braves to approach, but those times she usually keeps a force field around her.
Nova is secretive creature, more likely to keep to herself then seek companionship, and if she did, she will likely bond with one person alone, and that person will become her whole world.
She loves to watch, watching allows her to learn secretly, from a distance. Some might call it stalking, but she pays very close attention to the creatures and things around her, learning their purpose and intentions. Watching also helps her bring on her visions. The scientists learned this, and put her in a cage covered in blankets and foam, the cage used for restraint. She hated yet loved that cage, it was dark, warm, small and secluded, and it never completely stopped her visions from coming, just made them less accessible to her.
The reason Nova has let Absynthe take over is because Absynthe has kept her safe thus far. Absynthe is the only one Nova completely trusts, Absynthe has protected her from the scientists demented curiosity and has become Nova's world.
History:
Nova was born to a small feline family, and has a sibling out there somewhere, though she is completely unaware of who they are now. Her parents were "alley cats" who did everything they could to help provide for their children, including stealing four measly cans of tuna, a common dinner for the family. It wasn't long before they were captured, in a last ditch effort they offered their children to the scientists, thinking they would be kept together, and at the time, the kittens were very close. Of course, they were wrong.
Nova has never seen her sibling since that day. And she remembers nothing about them, weather she has a sister or a brother, their name, nothing. It was never placed into her file that she had family. Nova has often thought her sibling hadn't existed, that the person she was once so close to was an imaginary friend she created, other times she believes Absynthe is the embodiment of the other being she'd held so dear.
She doubts she'll ever have the answer to this.
After she was given to the scientists she'd been poked and prodded, tested on and injected with strange fluids that made her body burn and hurt, until she had enough of it. One day she didn't want it to happen, she didn't want the needle to pierce her skin, and it didn't. Nova discovered her abilities to use the force field. Not long after, she discovered her visions, she looked into the shiny linoleum floor and saw her reflection, and then the floor began to change, showing the scientists coming, she heard them talking about injecting her with stripe blood, just to see the effects it had on a feline....the scientists couldn't reach her cage that day, because she didn't want them to.

Nova relies on Absynthe to the point where they are one, two souls inside the same shell as one, so they act a lot alike. Nova acts just like Absynthe, and she doesn't mind. Absynthe is very protective of Nova and does all she can to keep her safe. Nova would have never made it out of the lab if Absynthe hadn't guided her, and she guides her still to keep her out of the scientists hands.
The only way that Absynthe is different from Nova is her acceptance of people. Only trusting those who are true to heart, not so much sniffing in the direction of the ones who have evil intentions. This is just one way that Absynthe guides Nova.
Absynthe also pushes Nova to better herself, and to never give up despite the cards she'd been dealt. She is a strong willed being, and she's easy to take over Nova's thoughts and actions, but she wants the girl to become her own person, not rely on her so often. Absynthe wants her to feel safe and bold on her own accord and has so much faith in Nova. she has been the girls foundation while she was imprisoned, but now that shes free, Nova needs her own feet to stand on.
