His tone was very vibrato, quick yet strong; Much like the strike of a snake to it's prey. "A place of hope and no pain.. perfect skies with no rain.."

The trees swayed from left to right as the ongoing wind blew by and by; None of this bothering Thomas. On he went with his song, his large pale hands hidden within his black jacket while his lips formed a lucid smirk. There was someone - or rather something - very close, he sensed it. Then again, that wasn't abnormal in a park. But something.. of interest to him was near. He seemed to be slowly moving closer, this causing his curiosity to spark like a match sliding across sand paper. "Hmm.."

A dark shadow cast over his form as he appeared up in a large oak, overlooking the area a bit. There. Roughly thirty yards away was a being. The image was not very clear, and there was no scent through the air. Thomas' curiosity was becoming berserk with the passing seconds. A blurry outline of the Vampyre would be seen as he lept down, landing on his feet like most agile ones would. "Such a surreal place to see.. so how did this come to be?" Thomas sang in question, his voice dropping an octave lower as he moved towards the thing. Carefully stepping around dried leaves and sticks so he was not be noticed. This wasn't his first time stalking after all. His nostrils flared slightly as he finally took in the scent. It was of a woman, not a day over twenty six. Lilacs. Shampoo or perfume. Which one, he didn't care.

Ba-dum. Ba-dum. Ba-Dum. Her heartbeat was steady and calm as she moved along the sidewalk. It wasn't until she felt a cool breath blow against her neck that it accelerated. By then, there was not even time for her to scream. She felt her very essence being ripped from her forcefully. Thomas even stepped back as he closed his eyes and let the life source flow into him in a black and gray swirl. Moments later, the lifeless body of the woman dropped hard to the concrete, leaving a dark man with the same lucid smirk pulling at his lips.

Thomas felt.. refreshed as he continued on his journey back home. Some wondered how he lasted for months on end without feeding. It was simple: Practice and control. Without it, he would have been doomed years ago. Then again, some wondered why he didn't take his anger out on the poor humans like most of his kin did. That was simple too: He pitied them. The humans were their inception and cessation.
