Adrien King

Am I crazy or does money ROCK!

0 · 1,370 views · located in Psy Prep

a character in “Psy Prep”, as played by Jadebud98

Description

Name: Adrien King

Appearance:
Image
(A more accurate picture of him than the last one) Adrien has black hair and green eyes and he stands at around 5"7. His usual outfit consists of a dark blue coat, sweater vest, a shirt, and a tie. He also wears gloves and recently, a scarf given to him by Chandler. When it's more hot than usual he wears just normal T-shirts and shorts, etc. However, he does have a lot of designer clothes. You will almost never see Adrien not smiling.
Age: 16

Power: Illusions.

Sexual Preference: Unsure.

Personality: Adrien is a very extroverted person with a desire to have fun. Adrien at first was going through a cycle of adoption centers and foster parents until he gave up, running away to live on the streets. Homeless, and without any one to take care of him, Adrien had to go through life fending for himself. He only recently utilized his powers to create dollar bills and so he's new to having money and is loving it. The problem with his power is that when he uses them they get extremely out of control. He gets a thrill out of adventure and trying new things. He also enjoys playing pranks and scaring others, this sometimes activates his powers though causing damage to those he's playing a joke on.

Adrien is new to the concept of people, so getting along with others may not be a breeze. He'll probably seem a bit overwhelming to people he wants to be friends with because he just wants to see what it's like on the other side. He is also a curious person, and that curiosity can cause problems as well.

Adrien's desire for friendship is probably derived from the fact that he has felt as though others never cared about him throughout his life. He despised the feeling of loneliness that he had to go through so he wants to make up for it now, and experience the fullest out of it.

So begins...

Mikhail

Are you fucking kidding me??

He looked down at the duct tape plastered over his groin. It hurt already. He didn't dare touch it, but when he walked, it moved and tugged, which wasn't pleasant. He didn't even want to think about taking it off.

He should sue the teacher. Not just for this, but she had also undressed him personally! And taken off his underpants! Then again, suing would just give him attention with law enforcement and he'd end up in trouble.

Well, there was only one way to go about this.

He stopped by his room (a feat that he thought was quite miraculous, though perhaps it was his distracted mind that unconsciously led him in the right direction) and grabbed a few things. He ran into Zara, whose eyes widened at his "uniform", but he clamped a hand over her mouth before she could shout. He whispered a few things to her hurriedly, and a twinkle lit in her eyes as she nodded, taking his things and leading him to the auditorium. She entered first, and he went around the back. He waited until everyone was present, before walking out.

The gasps were pretty loud. He ignored them and just smiled devilishly, strutting out onto the stage as if he were in regular clothes. Besides, his body was in pretty good shape. Softening six pack, but the outlines were still there. He walked to the microphone.

"Hello hello," he said. He had long tossed the "speech" and was going to wing it. "So, I'm here to tell everyone how wonderful you all did at your survival camp. This is a message from the school, but since I was actually with you guys, I know that we all did a fantastic job. So how about a round of applause for all of you?" He clapped loudly before continuing on. "And, even though we nearly got eaten by beasts, burned and frozen to death, we still made out all right. I think we learned some great survival skills, as well as lessons of trust, pride, and humility, to name a few." He smiled at the memory of the Truth or Dare game. This punishment itself was kinda similar to it....

"So I'm going to keep this short," he said, "Since I'm sure you all have better things to do, and end it with a hearty congratulation to all of you." He beamed at them, and paused. When it seemed they thought he was over, he added. "Oh, and in case you were wondering about my attire, I'd like to add a few words to that as well."

He caught Zara's eye, and she nodded. A split second later, a song blasted through the auditorium. Mikhail immediately started pelvic thrusting to it, using the mike stand, and at the chorus, flung out his hand towards the audience and shouted: "I'M SEXY AND I KNOW IT!"

The song still playing, he slammed the mike stand down and jumped off the stage into the audience. He walked up the aisle, head high and grinning from ear to ear. At some seats he stopped and hiked his leg up, pelvic thrusting to whoever was sitting there. With James he resisted the strong urge to, but instead stuck his behind out towards him and pointed. "Kiss this, Jimbo," he said, and sauntered out of the auditorium. Sure, some may call it punishment. But Mikhail was proud of his body, and if he was going to be practically naked in front of everybody, then hell, he's going to find some way to make it work for him.

Adrien

Adrien woke up to the announcements. As soon as he heard there was food waiting for them in the Dining Room he bolted, gathering any random assortment of clothes and putting it on. Eventually he had a white T-shirt, brown shorts, and sneakers. He put them on messily and ran to the room. There he saw something he didn't have since the first day here; a glorious, wonderful buffet! Taking the seat closest to the door he began taking handfuls of all the food close to him, gulping down every bite, he couldn't wait until more people to socialize with came!

Zoe

Zoe woke up groggily, flashes of her nightmares swirling in her head, her father abusing her permanently engraved in her mind. Noticing the layers of sweat on her she decided to take a shower. Moving to the bathroom she watched her steps making sure she didn't step on any glass from yesterday that she may have not collected. When she made it to the bathroom she heard the announcement of a free day "Perfect," she thought to herself happy that she wouldn't have to use powers today...hopefully. Zoe turned on the shower and stepped in, planning her schedule for the day, the water felt excellent on her skin and she felt herself cool down. Finishing her shower, she dried off she put on a black blouse and dark blue ripped pants.

Leaving her dorm room to make her way to the dining room, she saw James and Arian, all over each other as usual and Hallie, Mikhail, and Zara in front of them. She pretended she didn't see them and kept moving, she didn't want to socialize until she got food into her stomach, she wasn't ready to be friendly until after that. Once she got to the dining room their was another beautiful buffet ready for them. Choosing the seat furthest away from Adrien she began eating. She didn't have much of an appetite but she knew she was hungry.

Zoe

Zoe looked up as Mikhail walked over to her. It had been a while since they talked so she was glad to see him, but she still wasn't really feeling like herself. "Hey," Zoe responded softly to his greeting, "I've been great," she said faking a smile weakly, but her eyes showed the emotions she was trying to repress. Her nightmares shook her up, and she still didn't exactly recover...images were still flashing through her mind. Even though she wasn't exactly herself, she blushed slightly as she remembered Mikhail's "attire" from yesterday. He was smiling, so it seemed he was doing better...unless he was repressing things as well...at moments like these Zoe hated how she couldn't read people. "So...are you doing better?" she asked, blushing a little more deeply when she noticed him staring at her. He certainly looked different, and she wasn't hating it...but it was good to see he was still acting the same.

Adrien

Adrien smiled as he noticed everyone else coming in. "Hey Zara!" Adrien said waving to her, smiling widely. He didn't talk to her since the trip to the forest so he was inclined to talk to her. He didn't really socialize with Hallie, but he wasn't exactly sure if she liked him. Standing up he made his way over to the two of them and put his plates by them. "I'll be right back," he said going away to get more food, while allowing them to finish their conversation, just in case it was anything like girl talk or whatever.

Zara

Zara listened carefully, ears searching for any hiccups in her statement. The "I don't know" was intriguing...it wasn't a flat-out no. Then there was the "even if I did". And her repeating "It wouldn't work." Hmm....much to piece together.

Although Zara wasn't one for relationships, she was a bit intuitive when it came to figuring out who was with who. Maybe it was her finding things ability, since she had always been quite adept at picking out the true meaning behind someone's awkward confession about someone they may or may not like. It was probably along the same lines of why she was able to find seemingly harmless jokes offensive (more often than not, they were intended to be so, though getting someone to confess that they were took a lot of threatening and wet willies). Some of her friends back at the MI would come to her for dating advice, and even more people she didn't know would come to her about Mikhail. She could always tell whether he liked someone or not. She didn't know how, but she could. Her eyes always saw the right things at the right time that gave it away.

Hmm...maybe this finding things power was more useful than she thought...

Zara waved brightly at Adrien before returning to her thoughts. She did notice that Hallie herself had glimpsed at Mkhail as she spoke. Her reasons were understandable, though her constant negativity was a bit annoying. So she was being realistic. Didn't need to be pessimistic.

Still. The fact that Hallie was actually thinking her feelings through made Zara like her already, moreso than the hormone-driven girls at the MI anyways. Swirling her cereal around with her spoon, she spoke informatively, "Well, that's what you're at this school for, right? To control that sort of thing? Perhaps you'll let Misha go, but what about when you are thinking about a serious relationship? You gonna let that stop you as well? Things to think about." Zara tapped the side of her head with her free finger. "Besides, it wouldn't be the first time he's liked someone it would be difficult to be in a relationship with." April immediately popped up in her mind. Zara decided not to get too specific, but she added, "The first, and probably only, girl he ever seriously thought about dating was a big no-no."

She slurped down her orange juice and looked over at Mikhail and Zoe. "Also, if you want my opinion, I think he's just there on the platform of friendship. Dunno if he actually has any feelings or not. But that's just me," she turned back to her cereal, "Who knows. If nothing gets in the way of them, maybe they will turn into something else." Though Zara highly doubted it. At least not right away, if she knew Mikhail correctly.

Mikhail

Mikhail cocked his head a bit at Zoe's statement. Wasn't too convincing. "You sure?" he asked, smiling, but serious, "You look a bit tired....bad dreams? I know I had some weird ones. But, for whatever reason, I can't remember them...."

He took a thoughtful bite from his toast before addressing her question. "Other than the excruciating pain of last night's duct tape, I'm great. Trying out different colors than black, for a change. Maybe you should try it too." He gestured at her own dark clothes, "Though I don't mind what you're wearing now." He winked, his mouth widening into a Cheshire Cat-like grin.

"So, what do you think you'll be doing on this wonderful "free" day?" He made quotation marks with his fingers when he said "free" and did so with both hands whilst still leaning in a manner that would cause a normal person to fall flat on their face. Man, was it nice to have his powers back up to speed!

Hallie

"If I ever control my powers, then maybe I could have some sort of...actual relationship...but this school doesnt seem keen on teaching us much individually. At least not yet." Her thoughts shifted to the poisonous flowers that had ailed her yesterday. "They dont seem keen on doing much with us at all. Which is where research comes in."

"Never pictured myself with anyone though," she ended with, listening to Zara's words about Mikhail only being friends with Zoe.

Adrien had left his spot beside them and she eyed the boy as he walked away. Social birdie he was. Hallie sighed, concentrating more on keeping emotions out rather than food. She wouldnt leave, even though part of her wanted to. Making friends would keep her mind occupied on something other than Mikhail.

"Who knows. If nothing gets in the way of them, maybe they will tirn into something else."

Hallie nodded, thinking this good. Perhaps one day she would control her ability and could live normally...but she doubted the time it would take to achieve such would be short. Mikhail didnt need to know about her potential feelings. Nothing could happen between them. Not for a long time, and by then...well, Hallie hoped he got over himself and found a girl finally.

Zoe

Mikhail squeezed and patted Zoe's shoulder multiple times, wishing her a better day and offered to help her if she needed something to do over the course of their free day. Zoe decided not to finish her breakfast realizing that picking at it wasn't going to help and she obviously wasn't going to finish. Zoe went to her dorm room, and began lying down in her bed, wondering what to do..."What a boring school..." she groaned wanting to at least have a lesson. Maybe this was what she was really like...I mean she only started getting all love-struck and open when they were in the forest, so maybe it had something to do with the air, the desire to have a good time, the random nudity, or the life-or-death-ness of it all...Whatever the case it was obvious that today, Zoe was not in a good mood...

Adrien

When Adrien came back to his spot, it appeared that they all left. "Well...that's a bummer," he said gloomily. "Then I suppose I'll give myself a little tour of the school," he said smiling. Leaving the dining room, Adrien decided that to make it extremely whimsical, he wouldn't even keep track of anywhere he was going. He'd take right turn here, make a left turn there and not have a single clue of what he was doing. Eventually, he was lost in the gigantic building, not seeing or experiencing anything... "Well, this is different," he said disappointed. He immediately put a smile back on his face with the next thought, "Well, I guess it's all part of the adventure!" he cheered running through the confusing halls of Psy Prep...

Zoe

When Zoe heard the alarms she jumped out of her bed. "What now?" She hissed. Well, it was about time she got out anyways. Changing into her clothes once again she made her way outside, irritated by all of the noise. She noticed Hallie and Mikhail from afar and wondered what exactly they had planned for the day. Now that she thought of it when Zara went to "talk" to her, she left Mikhail and Hallie alone...she also noticed the way Hallie was looking at Mikhail and wondered if she was developing feelings for him. Zoe decided she would watch them from afar, concealing her emotions and staying far from Hallie so she wouldn't be sensed she hid behind a tree eyeing the two of them in secrecy. She took all the necessary steps to conceal herself, "If I'm gonna be a stalker I'm going to do it right," Zoe thought in her head. She also had to watch out for Zara, who knew what she was up to...

Adrien

Around him, sirens were blaring and lights were flashing. "Fire drill I guess," Adrien said, thinking to himself out loud. He was still completely lost so he decided to go to the closest window and open it, imagining a safety net at the bottom. Once it was created he jumped out of the window cheering and flailed around on the net. When he was done he climbed off and made his way to where everyone else was but distanced himself. There were already clique kind of things formed in the school, and unfortunately, he wasn't one of them. Sighing, he sat on the floor and waited to see what would hapen next.

Zoe

Zoe stayed on the floor. She didn't want to get up at all, and hated the thought of it. But the thought of dying of hypothermia here in this school wasn't pleasing to her. But before she could get up someone knocked on the door, calling her name. The voice wasn't familiar at all...then the door opened and the person came in saying hello. Zoe kept face on the ground, maybe if he thought she was dead he would leave. Then he started laughing at her sorry state, asking what happened. She grimaced, hoping he would leave, she didn't know who he was but at the moment she wasn't in the mood to make friends especially with the mystery surrounding Mikhail, Hallie, and Zara. Eventually, the guy left probably thinking she was dead. Mission accomplished.

"Alright, let's have a shower," Zoe said, rising from the floor stumbling in her wet, muddy clothes she moved towards the bathroom. Once she made it she discarded the disgusting clothes, now appalled by them. She twisted the knobs of the bath, making sure that it was warm. Once it reached peak warmness she plunged herself into the water, transferring the cold into warmth and she relaxed as she cleansed herself.

Adrien

Adrien roamed the halls. He felt as though something was off...as though a new presence was here for him to befriend. Looking around he relied on his gut and all completely by luck he heard a new voice coming from Mikhail's room. "Frieeend," he thought in his mind happily. Running over to the door he knocked several times. "Anyone in here?" He called out. "A new student perhaps?" He asked happily. If there was someone new here he would be so happy, but if there wasn't he would be disappointed. But too bad, they were in the middle of a conversation and he wasn't invited! Barely anyone had been talking to him lately and everything has been so serious. He had to change that.

Chandler

"I think so," he answered, sticking his hands in his pockets. "We frequented the same hot spots occasionally. She's uh...an interesting girl."

A knock interrupted him. He faced Zara. "You invite someone?"

Sending her a wink, he vanished from the air, appearing on the other side of the door to view another student roaming the halls at this late hour. He grinned at the kid's expression. "Hiya," he greeted, reaching out a hand. "Chandler. Teleporter extraordinaire."

Zara

For whatever reason, she didn't like the way Chandler had described Hallie. An interesting girl? What was that supposed to mean? Before she could ask, someone knocked on the door, and she heard Adrien's voice. Chandler disappeared to go talk to him, winking beforehand. She rolled her eyes. That definitely reminded her of Mikhail.

Mikhail....She frowned slightly. Was it wrong of her to push him towards Hallie so fast? She knew she didn't want him with Zoe, what with those Russian Mafia ties and everything. But she still hardly knew Hallie. Heck, Mikhail hardly knew her. Had she made a mistake? Was Hallie not quite what they both thought she was? She's uh...an interesting girl... That statement kept replaying in her head, and it was driving her nuts. She had to know.

"Hey!" she called, and she pulled open the door. As she had thought, Adrien was there, and she smiled at him. "Evening, Adrien," she cooed in a friendly manner, "I see you've met Mr. Disappear..." She turned to Chandler and asked as discreetly as she could, "About Hallie. She's interesting how?"

Adrien

Adrien stood there waiting for someone to open the door, but suddenly, he realized the mystery person was behind of him! His mind suddenly raced, wondering how he did that and if it had to do with his powers. "Hi! Oh my gosh you teleport? That's so cool!" Adrien exclaimed wide eyed. "I can make illusions, real or unreal," Adrien said smugly making a rock appear in his hand. "Hi Zara," Adrien said smiling. "Yeah, it's so cool that he can do that right? But wherever he goes I bet you could find him," he said chuckling. Then, Zara started whispering to Chandler. "More business, huh?" Adrien whispered under his breath so no one could hear. Maybe they could have a party some day! "That would be really nice" Adrien thought to himself but felt that it wouldn't happen.

Chandler

The Adrien kid seemed a bit hyper which made Chandler chuckle to himself. Zara appeared with a strange expression, asking about Hallie. Eyebrow raising, he replied in a normal tone so Adrien could hear, "Hallie is interesting...like...interesting. I don't know." Internally, he slapped himself. "I just never understood her. She hangs out at internet cafe type places, yet doesn't really play video games. And then she starts dancing on tables. She's...interesting...I don't know..."

Something in Adrien's expression was bothering Chandler. He noticed the need for friends from a mile away, sharing the same trait himself. Somehow he could tell Adrien had been left behind. Well, Chandler needed to rectify that. "Here," he offered, slinging one of his scarves around Adrien's neck. "That looks better."

A voice traveled down the hall and Chandler turned to see Arian knocking at James' door. Her getup had changed. Chandler disliked it, a pout forming on his lips. But he wasn't a fashion critic, people could do as they pleased. But if it were him, he wouldn't be apologizing wearing that and looking sweaty...

Hallie

A knocking at the door woke her up fully.

Mikhail had been moving around just a little bit ago, used the bathroom, returned, and Hallie was just about to fall back asleep wit him by her side...then the knocking began. Opening one eye, she saw the darkness of the room and sighed a little, knowing it had to be like three in the morning. Checking the clock, she saw it was only midnight or so, but still.

She slowly rolled off the bed, snatched up a pink hoodie from one of her boxes and maneuvered to the door to answer it.

When she found Arian, she nearly flipped. Instead, she put on a straight face and asked, "What is it?" The girl radiated guilt, messing with Hallie's weakened mind at the moment. She just wanted to sleep! Now guilty feelings were squirming through her like worms or maggots.

Maybe she was being too harsh on Arian...

Zara

Dancing on tables?? What?

Zara's thoughts were interrupted by knocking. She frowned even further when she saw it was Arian. Boxing gloves? Huh. Well, it made Zara bit less disgruntled that Arian looked a little less impeccable than she usually did.

Even though Arian had been asking for James, it was Hallie who answered the door. Zara studied her, trying to read her past, her personality. Who was she really? Did it match what Mikhail thought? Did he know what he was getting into? Should Zara let him know?

As if on cue, Mikhail appeared behind Hallie, his green hair more prominent than before. What a strange side effect....pretty delayed too. You'd think something like that would take effect almost immediately. Then again, with something as specific as hair color, she supposed that it would take a while for the antidote to work itself up to his head. He looked like he had just woken up, that was clear from his bedhead, but there was still an alertness to him. His previously glazed eyes were no more, returned to their usual clarity as he leaned slightly against the doorway, still only wearing his boxers.

Their eyes met, and Mikhail raised an eyebrow as he glanced at Chandler, as if to ask who he was. Zara slid her eyes sideways at the new boy before looking back across the hall. I'll tell you later her expression read.

Mikhail nodded, apparently understanding her countenance, and added more weight to the doorframe. Casual. Relaxed. For a moment, Zara wondered if it was genuine. But she could tell by the slightly tensed muscles that this wasn't the case. Even if he had made such huge leaps in terms of emotion (at least, to her it was), habits like these were hard to break. Even she was rarely fully relaxed.

She turned back to Adrien and Chandler. The scarf Adrien had received actually didn't look too bad on him. "It looks better on him than it did on you," Zara commented, yawning slightly near the end.

Adrien

Adrien overheard Chandler talking about Hallie. Hallie danced on tables? She didn't seem like the type of person to do that...oh well it was none of his business anyways.

Then, Chandler put one of his scarves on to Adrien. With the scarf on, he felt a closer connection to Chandler, and felt as though they understood each other. "Thanks," Adrien said happily, at a loss for words (doesn't happen too often). Adrien was really happy that he had already made friends with Chandler, and hoped he wouldn't be consumed in to all of the seriousness that the others were being drawn to. He adjusted the scarf, pleased with how it looked on him. Then, Zara complimented Adrien and insulted Chandler at the same time; he supposed that Zara wasn't saying that to hurt his feelings, and was either teasing Chandler, or just being the normal blunt Zara.

He noticed Zara yawning and wondered what time it was. Checking his wrist watch he realized that it was 12:15 A.M. "Maybe, we should go to bed, who knows what they'll have in store for us tomorrow," Adrien said chuckling.

Hallie

Not bothering to tell her he was dead asleep just feet away, Hallie shrugged and faced Mikhail as she noticed the calm air around her. She smiled, still a bit bleary-eyed, then...noticed his hair.

"What happened?" she demanded, snatching a lock and probably pulling too hard. It was green! A pale, still blondish green...but green! She pouted a little. "Were you off finding swimming pools filled with chlorine without me or what?"

Then she remembered the antidote that Zara had given him. It also was green. Tilting her head to the side, she shivered a little and pressed her lips together as she analyzed the way the hall lights caught the tips. "It's not...bad..." A bit more gentle, she reached up and ran her fingers through his hair, a smiling creeping to her lips.

She heard voices down the hall, Zara's and Adrien's distinguishable despite their short time together. She recognized the third too, his laugh at least, one filled with triumph and mirth. Turning slowly, she couldn't believe her eyes. "Chandler?"

The boy spun about with a grin. "Hallie!"

Pulling her pink hoodie closer around her, she left Mikhail's side and hurried down the hall bare foot. "What are you doing here?"

He shoved a thumb behind him. "Getting whacked in the head with laptops and ridiculed for my fashion sense. But she's supposed to be able to like what she likes." Chandler cast a teasing look to Zara with a smirk. "Anyway, what about you? You didn't tell me you were a superhero."

"Yeah, 'cause you're so forthcoming," she countered, relishing in the familiar wavelengths of her somewhat friend. The same confidence laced every movement he made. She remembered it strongly, especially from that night...

Chandler must have thought of the same night, his words not coming out as quick as they used to. Hallie hadn't even known her rescuer had been him until she read the file just hours before. And here he was. Part of her felt obligated to thank him.

He spoke first. "So what's it like here?" he asked, smiling broader to stray from their shared thoughts. "You uh..." he eyes traveled behind her to Mikhail. "Been busy?"

Despite the innocent question, she felt the concern coming off of him. She nearly rolled her eyes. She didn't need anyone pitying her who had actually witnessed the negative effects of her power. Maybe Chandler's appearance would be more of an annoyance after all.

Mikhail

Chandler? The name was familiar, and he remembered that Hallie had asked about him earlier when they were looking through the student files. Shandler? Was that how it was pronounced?

Well, he seemed to have a good sense of humor. Mikhail snorted when he heard his comment about Zara, the latter of which responded by sticking her tongue out behind the new boy's back.

He stood up from his reclining position when Chandler glanced at him, his comment implicating something that hadn't happened. Jeez. Did everyone automatically assume both meanings of the phrase "sleeping together"?

Mikhail waved his hands, walking towards the two, "No, no, nothing like that," he said with a grin, "Just truth-or-dare. Which, I suppose, could be just as bad." He glanced sideways at Hallie, teeth showing in his somewhat conspiratorial smile. He focused back on Chandler. He hadn't been a jerk yet, so Mikhail stuck out a friendly hand, "Mikhail Petrov. I take it your name is Chandler?" He nearly added the last name, but remembered that he had gained that knowledge through less-than-conventional means.

"Watch out, Misha," Zara said, a bit jeeringly, "The guy can teleport. Might want to be a little more careful, if you know what I mean...."

"Shut up!" Mikhail retorted back in Polish, but his smile undermined the tone. He rolled his eyes and turned to Chandler, "She's crazy, that one," he said, a bit jokingly but with some truth lining his voice, "You'll have to tip-toe around her."

Adrien

Mikhail was the next person to join all of them. Truth or Dare brought back memories of when they had the survival training in the woods. It had been about a month since then hadn't it? "We should play Truth or Dare again sometime soon," Adrien sad smiling. It would be fun and relieve some of the stress from the school and whatever drama was causing all of the seriousness.
Adrien waved at Arian as she came. "Well, this is just about everyone," Adrien said wondering about the other two people. He was glad that every one was here but it was so late. Yawning, he couldn't even think of conversation topics.

Chandler

Hallie's expression told him she wasn't very amused, but the green-haired guy spoke.

"Just truth-or-dare. Which, I suppose, could be just as bad. Mikhail Petrov. I take it your name is Chandler?"

"You'd be correct," Chandler replied with a grin, taking his hand in a shake. Mikhail and Zara had a little bicker, which Chandler chuckled at. They were obviously friends, possibly more by their closeness. Chandler glanced to Hallie then, wondering exactly what the dynamic of this group was. As far as he knew, they had only been here about a week. He had gotten the same notification as them, just took him a bit to come around to the idea. The white-haired girl had her arms crossed, her bare legs moving back and forth as she lifted each of her heels one at a time as if slightly running in place. She was cold.

Mikhail warned about Zara, "You'll have to tip-toe around her."

Chandler laughed, casting a look to Zara. "Oh, I've already learned that." In one swift motion, he took his other scarf and looped it around Hallie's neck since she was cold and flashed another smile, a more friendly familiar one that he had reserved for friends. These other people were nice enough, but he didn't know them yet. Leaning back on the wall, he nodded to Adrien's suggestion of Truth or Dare. "Sounds wonderful. Actually anything sounds good, I'm bored to death. I think my roommate is dead, some Zoe or other...but anyone else up to play a game or show me around?"

He leaned in a bit, lowering his voice. "And does anyone else get the strange feeling that we're trapped here?"

Zara

"Truth or dare?" Mikhail asked with a laugh, "I think I'm all Truth-or-Dared out for tonight."

Zara smirked largely at Mikhail, "Never heard that one before," she said, "That intense, huh?"

Mikhail rolled his eyes, "Idiot," he told her in Polish. "Who's the idiot?" she demanded back.

"Does anyone else get the strange feeling that we're trapped here?"

Zara shot a glance immediately at Mikhail after hearing Chandler's last few words. The Russian was much more subtle in his reaction, but she did see his eyebrows furrow just a bit, and he just barely caught her eye.

"Well, it is a school," Mikhail said, a bit jokingly, "School in general is a bit of a watered-down prison if you think about it."

Nice save, Zara thought. "I could show you around if you want," Zara said a bit impulsively. Maybe along the way she could figure out where all the other cameras were? They didn't have a curfew, right? Then again, Adrien looked pretty tired...and apparently Zoe was out for the count. That was good. Zara just hoped Mikhail wouldn't go check on her. Now that he and Hallie were dating, she didn't think he would, but still....just to be safe...

"Misha, do you want to come?" Zara offered, "You too, Hallie. And you Adrien, if you aren't too tired." She didn't bother inviting Arian. She hardly acknowledged that she was there, and she wasn't a tour-guide after all.

Mikhail turned to the white-haired girl, taking her hand. "Hmm....should we?" he asked with a smile and slightly tilted head, "Or are you too tired to walk? Though...in that case I could probably just carry you. Either way, it's your choice."

Chandler

In his opinion, this Mikhail guy was a popular one, one Hallie seemed to like. It was strange, but Chandler did smile, seeing Hallie actually happy for once. Previously she seemed out of place at the arcades and cafes, simply there to be away from something else. She played though, got plenty of attention from guys as well if he remembered correctly. But she never looked like this. So...well, just plain happy.

Mikhail took her hand and asked if she was okay to walk, offering to carry her if she was. Chandler chuckled a little, catching Hallie's eye before she responded to the Russian boy. "What?" she asked, a bit snappy.

"Nothing," he assured. "Just seems like a good place for you to be..." He eyed Mikhail quickly. "Away from home and all."

Facing Zara and Adrien he clapped his hands together and said, "A tour would be great. Though I meant...I can't...teleport out of here." He gauged their reactions. "I've tried, a few times. They brought me here and I just tried to go home really fast. Nada."

Hallie

Chandler's comment had her sticking out her tongue, but smiling. It was difficult not to like Chandler. He was just a positive person, his wavelengths confident and warm. She enjoyed the familiar energy and turned to Mikhail saying, "I'm fine. Can't fall asleep right now anyway."

Hearing that Chandler's ability didn't work outside of the school's limits worried her. "So...we literally can't leave?" Her hazel eyes darted around the group, wondering if anyone else could use their power to try and leave, but Chandler apparently could teleport and he was a no-go. (The calmness with which she accepted that Chandler had an ability freaked her out a little. Just a week ago she still would have said most of these kids were crazy.)

Mikhail

Mikhail raised an eyebrow, and he reached for his matches before realizing he was still in his boxers.

"How far did you end up getting?" Mikhail asked, scratching his chin instead to help think. He wondered briefly if the antidote had affected his facial hair as well. "It'd be good to know the parameters. And what exactly happened when you tried to leave?"

That was interesting. Mikhail had never even thought of leaving. He wondered if it was because he had accepted his fate, or if he simply had nowhere to go back to. Homesickness didn't really affect him that much.

As he waited for Chandler to answer, he slipped into his room briefly to put on something a bit more appropriate than boxer shorts. He'd had enough with walking around the school in his underwear. He didn't really care too much about appearance at the moment and he didn't want to get completely dressed, so he settled on a grey long-sleeved under-armor shirt and a pair of Hawaii-style cargo shorts that he forgot he had. He checked in the mirror briefly and sighed. His hair was really very green. He pulled on a ski hat to cover it up before returning to the group, deciding to remain barefoot for the moment. Zara looked him over before sighing. 'There is so much wrong with this picture," she commented, shaking her head.

"Hey," Mikhail said, making his way back to Hallie's side, "It's not like I need to dress to impress anymore." He winked at Hallie before putting his arm around her.

Hallie

Mikhail vanished back into his room, only to return with beanie and cargo shorts. She rolled her eyes at the tufts of green hair sticking out on the back of his neck, and again when he winked at her. She couldn't deny she enjoyed it. His wavelengths wrapped around her like another set of arms and she breathed in his scent happily, leaning against his chest.

Chandler had waited for Mikhail to return to explain, "I popped out somewhere near some trees. I think where they picked me up. I tried just teleporting here on my own, but I couldn't. I stopped in a wooded area. They picked me up, blindfolded I might add, and brought me here. Where I can't escape using my power. Something weird is up."

His eyes switched between everyone, noticing Arian suddenly behind him. She hadn't spoken, but he smiled to her with a slight wave of the hand. Her tattoo showed through the bottom of her shirt. Interesting...Hallie thought, squinting at it. Chandler noticed too, his head tilting, trying to get a better look at the design.

More importantly though, Hallie noted the hesitation from both Zara and Mikhail. Did they not want to let Chandler in on what they had discovered? What about Adrien too? If they were trying to find out what was going on, perhaps they should involve all the kids with abilities that could help them. Which was everyone that had been brought here. She understood though. They didn't know for sure if everyone who was a 'student' was trustworthy. Cautiously, she lifted her gaze up to Mikhail wondering about his true allegiance. Was he still a spy? The camera thing was pretty intense...

But she read simple calmness from him, laced with hesitent attraction and slight tiredness mingled with annoyance. Smiling a bit, Hallie curled her fist into the back of his shirt, trusting him.

Arian had started listening to the wandering conversation, pondering whether she should butt in or not. Everyone seemed to carry on harmlessly, but she could tell there was tension among them. Yet, she still smiled to the group, even the people who didn't seem to notice her. She decided to stick it out and kind of hang around them.

She saw a few people start to peek at her tattoo and eyed Chandler. Arian didn't know too much about him but liked his blunt style of speaking. Letting her arms casually fold in front of her, covering her tattoo from view, she decided to step into the conversation.

She kept her voice low but still a little serious. "Of course something weird is up. We're pretty much stuck in this school, we haven't learned too much about anything except each other's abilities and we aren't the only people watching our backs..."

Adrien

"A tour sounds great, I'm not tired enough to miss this," Adrien said smiling. Adrien tilted his head, he had never thought that they may have been trapped here. To him it seemed like a great place, except for all the punishments of course. "Are you guys sure it's really that bad?" Adrien asked. "I mean, maybe we're overreacting about things..." Adrien didn't want to sound like an idiot, but he didn't want to lose what this school offered him either.

"Why don't we start that tour?" He asked, changing the subject.

Chandler

He smiled a bit toward Adrien. He seemed like a good kid, a bit naive maybe, but that wasn't a bad thing. Throwing an arm around the kid's shoulders, Chandler caught Arian's eyes on him and winked. "A tour does sound good. So let's get on with it. Before James comes back. Or the dead chick."

Turning, he led them further down the halls, pondering what he had gathered so far. He wasn't a truly worrisome guy, but this place...this place worried him. His fingers picked absently on the scarf around Adrien's shoulders, thoughts sporadic. Without thinking, he vanished from the group, reappearing quite a few hallways down, though he himself wasn't sure where he was. The decor was only slightly different. The doors had names on them. The staff? One said Eve. Realizing he had teleported finally, he wondered if he should wait for the others. He shrugged though.

Knock, Knock...

"Hey! Are you a teacher? I know it's late, but I'm a little turned around," he lied. He just wanted to see what the people here were like. Perhaps if he found the teachers were nice, he would be more relaxed.
