Anything he draws can become real for a short period of time. But there are draw backs like
If he drew a lion the size of his thumb it’ll only be the size of his thumb.
If he draws a living thing, it’ll have a will on its own, so it can turn on him.
If he draws something poorly, like say he makes a leg to short on a chair he draws on accident, it’s going to still HAVE a short leg. So he needs time to draw things well.
Misery:
When he was young, his twin brother Kale died. His brother was well loved, smart, athletic, etc. In a word; his brother was perfect. Scotty was, well, he wasn’t. Scotty was just an art nerd. It was his brother was dead(or at least that’s what he tells himself).
As kids they weren’t aloud to make a fire in the fire place when their parents weren’t home, but kale had always been a cold and never listened to rules very well. While Kale made a fire Scotty just stood by and watched telling himself, ‘well we are cold…I’ll just make sure it’s out before we go to bed.’ Later that night while kale was already fast asleep, Scotty stayed up and waited for the flames to die. He waited, and waited, and waited. He fell asleep. The house caught fire, and the fire fighters only saved one of them.

In the hospital Scotty laid in bed with burns for weeks, his parents hovering asking him who he was. Over and Over.
Until his mother slipped up.
One time when Scotty awoke his mother rushed over, “Is that you? Are you awake? Kale?” At that moment Scotty knew, Kale was the one they wanted. So kale is who they got. “Yes, Momma?”
Since then Scotty has lived as Kale taking his identity, faking his personality. Keeping Kale alive and hating it. The more he became Kale the more Scotty died in everyone’s minds. Lately ‘Kale’ has wants Scotty to die… for real.
Death:
He was out at a party with his friends, just chilling at the cliffs with his ex, Drunk out of his mind. Too bad his ex’s current boyfriend Stan was there. Let’s just say the story Stan told the police was Kale ‘tripped’ over a rock and fell to his death.
Other:
He’s got a huge burn on the back of his back.
