"... you like, Erika?"
"Huh?" Erika perked up at those last few words. "Oh, no.." She said, silently, as she started to search the racks, placing 'Kelly' under her arm so that she could have free hands to look for clothes. She found a purple plaid skirt, and picked it up. Purple was Kelly's favorite color. She also found a white, long sleeved shirt with purple stripes on it. Then she found a yellow dress with a white waistband. Yellow was Erika's favorite color. She smiled and walked over to it. It looked just her size, and for some reason, she really loved dresses. She picked that up. Erika didn't want to go in the dressing room to try on something that she knew would fit her. The skirt was the same size as the skirt the had on now, and the top looked just a little too big for her. She flinged the pieces of clothing over her shoulder and kept on looking for something that was at least her size.

Then, Kat looked back at Minori and smiled, "Other than that, you look fine. Now let's find Erika and clothing for everyone else."

There was one pile that he was making where there were supplies to make weapons. Not to mention, there were a few decent knives in this pile, though all of them needed sharpened. There was another pile of what Elliot considered junk, or stuff that he could at least, at that time, see no use for. Then there was a pile of building supplies, after all, if they were going to stay there (though he hoped they didn't, they were too close to where father's body would be for comfort) the place needed to be outfitted some, made a bit more habitable. Finally though Elliot found what he had been looking for, an oil can.
Silently, and with a bit of a sour look on his face, Elliot set to work on the door to make the screeching far less noticeable than it had been earlier. Loud noises like that drove Elliot insane. And he'd prefer not to kill anyone because he was being drove insane by loud screeches like that. Rather, he'd prefer that they gave him a good reason to kill them. Then he could get himself and Kat out there. Maybe they could go back to Italy and just fade into the background, forget this life that they currently lived, and become people.
But how would that work? They didn't know enough of society to function in a way like that, and Elliot didn't want to make Kat sad or take her away from people she (thought) she cared about.
That didn't lessen his desire to have his sister for himself though. It bothered him, having to share his twin with so many people. He owed her so much, and he wanted to take care of her. Everyone else was just in the way to him.

Then, the woman came running over to her, "here she is, here she is!" She said, apparently talking to someone behind her. "Right here." Out from behind her came a man with wavy blonde hair, bright aqua eyes, and a charming smile. He was wearing a white jacket and had a black bag with him.
He smiled at her, "What a pretty young lady, can you please sit down for me?" His tone of voice was as if she was a baby and Kat didn't like it at all, she backed up a little.
"Who are you?" She snapped.
"Ooh, a feisty one, I'm Doctor Leo Barnes, I'm here to check up on your leg, Miss Baker here called me."
"Oh." She looked up at the woman, who didn't seem to be paying any attention, her eyes were fixed on the man, she looked completely gaagaa over him.
Reluctantly, she sat down, and the man began to pull up her skirt to get a better look at her wound. First mistake. Kat took this in a sexual manner, and slapped him across the face. He stood up, holding his hand to his face, "Ouch!"
After a few minutes, she had calmed down and unwrapped the cloth around her leg. He looked at it closely and poked and prodded it. Then, he cleaned it, and put antibiotics and a new wrap around it, saying it'll be fine if she let it alone, while still rubbing his cheek.
Once he left, Kat walked over to Minori, grabbed him, then went and found Erika and Nevaeh, dragging them out of the shop with their clothing, still flustered with what had happened with the doctor, and just happy none of her siblings had saw it. And even more grateful that Elliot hadn't been there to see it.
"Let's get some food, and go home."
