A young woman, orphaned and left to fend for herself, hoping that the quest will be her one shot to make something of herself.
Ellie is abnormally optimistic and this can sometimes wear on the nerves of those around her, however that fact is often looked over because of her kind and caring nature. She has a soft spot for animals and children, and a fighting side with pushy men. Not once has she ever backed down from a challenge, even when it was obvious she was going to lose. This nature carries into her argumentative side, which has pushed her into hours of debating and arguing over simple matters.
Because she is so small, Ellie relies on her agility to get her out of tight spots. On her feet she can easily evade bulky attackers, and upon her silver stallion she is far more powerful. She travels around with her stallion always, a very well trained animal, they can often be seen around simply walking side by side. The stallion is simply named, Silver, on account of Ellie’s rather uncreative naming talents. Along with her horsemanship and being quick on her feet, her weapon of choice is her bow and arrows, though she does carry her Father’s sword always…sometimes more because of sentimental value than actual probability of use.
Elliana was born far to the west, to a family of horse breeders and farmers. The equines that were raised there were skilled in battle and known for their aggressiveness and agility, so it was no surprise that such a powerful asset to the Kingdom was destroyed. The night of the attack, Ellie’s four brothers and Father left to defend their home, but not before Ellie was given one of her Father’s swords…just in case. Leiana, Ellie’s Mother, rushed her out to the stable and got her up on a young silver colt, urging her to ride on as far and quick as she could. And so Ellie did, and not long after the estate was seized and her family killed.
Ellie raised herself, living from one equine training job to the next. She was scared to settle down, worried whatever got her family would come after her. Though without any sort of book smarts, she gained a common sense better than most adults and managed to do alright for herself. She wasn’t happy and feared she never would be, not until she did something to avenge her parents. And so when she heard about some sort of quest, she followed the crowd to the inn, hoping that this would be the shot she’s been waiting for.
