Introduction

Welcome to Aldrazill, a medieval fantasy land only recently discovered revealing such icons as castles, dragons, mythical creatures, knights, horses, peasants, the whole 'package' so to speak. You are one of many heroes who roam this mythical land in search of glory or revenge, praise or gold, peace or chaos. Its your choice. All the while, you are given quests to power yourself and to build up reputation and skills. Throughout your adventures, you'll find creatures beyond the normal "danger" level, kings who will demand a bit too much of you, and peasants who argue shop prices or seek your talents in revenge. Of course, you'll find fellow heroes to befriend or hold grudges against. It's your life, it's your quest. Go forth, Quest Hero!

"Well, I did leave for a bit, but for some reason I wanted to spend more time with....." he started saying, until he realized what he was saying and quickly covered it up. "I mean, I wanted to see if I could find my spellbook. I lost it and I can't find it, so I figured I'd check back here and then I found you. Are you feeling ok? You seem a bit.....frustrated" he mentioned, slowly looking around at the trashed dummies

Corie knew exactly how he was about to finish his sentence, but ignored it. "I see. And no .. I'm not frustrated .. Just.. Thinking." She finished, then felt uncomfortable with the mess behind her. It did really look like she was angry or frustrated.
"Shall I help you look for your spell book?" she took a few steps away from the dummies.

They might not have noticed, but Dean had left. After successfully completing one of his inventions, he felt unstoppable. He was happily walking back to his workshop, when someone leapt out of an alleyway with a knife and a mask. The stranger said, "Gimme your money!" but Dean just smiled. He reached into his wagon and pulled the device out, then quickly whipped around and bashed the stranger over the head with it. He was out like a light. Dean put the device back into the wagon and continued along his way.

After Dean got back to his workshop, he put the wagon back where he kept it. Then, he noticed something wasn't right. Some things were moved around that he hadn't moved, but nothing was missing. He assumed someone had broken in and searched for something, but thankfully didn't find it. Dean searched around some more, but still didn't find anything missing. That was good. He walked over to his blueprint table and searched through those, but none of them were missing, either. What kind of burgular would break into some place but not steal anything?

Dean heard a noise behind him, and whipped around. Nothing in sight aside from his shelves filled with devices. He snuck his way over to his wagon, still eyeing around for anything suspicious. He grabbed the device and equipped it, then started aiming it around. He had a rather large workshop, so if someone was in there, it wouldn't be too obvious. He heard what sounded like footsteps, and said, "Who's there?" shakily. The footsteps stopped. He walked around his workshop slowly, watching out for anything suspicious.

Jace sorta figured she knew how he was going to finish the sentence, in which he had his doubts about having her help look for his spellbook, considering it was just a cover-up for the real answer. "Uhm....that's ok. I wouldn't want to trouble you with finding my book" Jace said quickly, stammering a bit as he looked her in the eyes, nearby firelight luminating her face. He was totally unaware at the time that his cheeks were flooding with a shade of red. "But if you want, you can help me look I suppose" he suggested to her, although it came out as more of a whisper.

"Okay, I see. If you don't want me to help that's fine." she gave a small smile and grew silent as he continued, and soon a red began to grow on his face. She didn't make a comment on it, shr remained silent, just looking into his eyes with her mouth frozen in a wavering smile.
"You didn't really leave your spell book out here, did you." she said, her voice rather hushed. This was a wild assumption, if she was wrong he would take it the wrong way .. And it would become instantly complicated.
Her necklace felt heavy now. Glancing surreptitiously around, she noticed a figure in the dark. Keeping her eyes on it, her leg instinctively slid backward on the dirt in half of a defensive position.

Jace knew she was on to his suspicious behavior. "What? What are you talking about? Of course I lost my spell book here. What makes you think I'd make that up?" Jace stammered in a hurried tone, his cheeks turning even more red as the words came out. He, too, noticed the figure in the dark as he went into defensive mode in case it dared attack him....or worse, Corie. "But yeah, I'm sure the book is around here somewhere.....maybe" the maybe coming out very very softly, Jace hoping that she didn't hear that.

Continuing around his workshop, Dean remained ready. He didn't know who or what was there, but he knew something was definitely there. The only problem would be that he didn't know if it was an ally or an enemy. He was making his way to the back, considering that's where he stored most of his finished inventions. Suddenly, a figure leapt out at him. He acted quickly and sidestepped, threw the stranger to the floor, then aimed the device at this foreign figure. He asked, "Who are you?" firmly. The person turned to him, illuminating... her face? After a moment, Dean dropped the device. He knew this person. "You... why are you here?" He asked. No reply. After a second, she tripped Dean and darted away, and a door was heard opening and closing. Dean got back up, confused. He didn't know exactly what happened, but he knew that he had to track her down. He had to.

Corie's brow arched for a moment before she turned around. "Okay then. If you're positive it's around here."
She was about to continue when a speeding force slammed into her, making her stumble to the right. It was a person, running very quickly. Almost as if running away.
"Hey, get back here!" Corie shouted out, then took a step to follow. But she halted herself.
"Jace.." she didn't know what to say ..she was slightly afraid now. Things were not calm around here. The city was dangerous at this time. She was glad to have someone with her. She wasn't alone. She was safe.. Right?

After running for a long time, searching, Dean eventually gave up. There was no way he was going to catch her. He was about to go walking back to his workshop, when he noticed he was near the park again. Dean remembered that his friends were still there when he had left, and thought to himself, maybe my friends saw her and know which way she went. He went and searched around for them, eventually finding them. He ran over and asked, "Did either of you see someone go running by here?"

Corie was violently jerked out of her thoughts, racing wildly, when Dean arrived, slightly out of breath.
"If you mean that person who crashed into me, then yes." she said without a trace of bitterness. "She ran that way." Corie pointed north, and the barest sound of feet thumping against grass could be heard."Awfully loud." she remarked.
"Why, did she run into you too?"

"Yeah, in a way, yes. Thanks for the info!" Dean said, then ran off where Corie had pointed. After awhile of running, a familiar building came into view. "Shoulda guessed." Dean said to himself. He approached the building and knocked on the door. No answer. Dean tried to open the door, but it was locked, and there was a keypad on the door. Simple. He thought to himself. He pulled a small knife out of his pocket, then wrenched a panel on the keypad open. He removed a wire, unplugged one end of another wire, then inserted the other wire into that spot and reconnected the other end into another port. The door made a noise, and it opened. Dean walked inside carefully, and began exploring around. Finding her was vital, so he needed to be extra careful.

Jace just stood there silent as Corie led Dean off after the thing that suddenly ran by. He didn't get a good look at it, although he didn't think he even wanted to. His attention was brought back to Corie. "Are you ok?" he asked her, a worried tone in his voice. He did his best to try and keep that kind of tone back, but it didn't work out too well. It was clear now that he was worried about her. He looked down at her arm and there was a scratch on it. "Oh my god, you're hurt!" Jace screamed out.

Corie nodded. "Yeah, I'm f- No, really!" checking herself over and finding a scratch on her arm she blinked. "It's just a scratch." From when she was beating up the dummies. "Calm down, Jace." she said reassuringly, and worked her hand over her arm. A weak, greenish energy appeared and when her hand moved away, the scratch was gone. "See?" she smiled and just noticed the worried tone in his voice.
But friends would be worried for one another .. Right? Definitely. But .. Then again, this was Jace.

Dean slowly tiptoed upstairs, and walked down a dark hallway. At the second door on the left, Dean stopped. He turned the handle and opened the door... and was immediately attacked. "Why are you following me?" A familiar voice came from his attacker. Dean forced her off and jumped up. "I had to." Dean replied. He scanned around, finding she had disappeared yet again. Dean slowly crept into the room, staying on his toes and being ready for anything.

Jace just sighed and shrugged his shoulders. "Ok, if you say your ok, then I guess I'll have to trust you on that." he spoke out, releasing a small sigh as he headed over to a nearby tree and laid down. He was pretty sure Corie knew that he wasn't missing his book, so why would he even bother pretending to look for it anyway? He just sat down against the tree and waited to see if Corie would join him or not. His thoughts soon traveled back to Dean. Hopefully everyone's going good with Dean.....hopefully that one person didn't give him too much of a hassle

Jace cooled down almost immediately. Corie was slightly amused.
He leaned against a tree, calm and collected, and she moved over to sit next to him.
"You think Dean's okay? He went off in a rush for that person..."

Dean proceeded to explore the room, but there was no sight of the girl. He left the building and walked back to his workshop, disappointed. He had lost her for the second time. He went into his workshop and turned everything off, and turned in for the night. He would continue the search in the morning.

Corie began to feel the chill of the air - she moved her hand to her leg and shivered. "I think I might go back home.." she murmured, and instantly five birds droppe down and landed on her shoulder, ready to accompany her fornthenwalk home.
"Goodbye, Jace." She got up and took slow steps into the whispering grasses, swallowed up by the indigo darkness.

Jace just watched as Corie got up and started walking home. "Well, can I at least walk you home?" Jace asked, unaware of what he was even asking. His face turned red after realizing what he asked. He then hid behind the tree so that Corie couldn't notice him. He didn't mean to say it like that......it's too late now. she's already heard me, Jace thought to himself as he slowly walked back over to her.

Corie paused as she heard Jace ask if he could accompany her. Then he disappeared behind a tree.
"Jace ...? Yes, I suppose if you wanted to.." a smile flickered across her face.
he came back, and she took a step forward, inviting him to get in pace.

Jace smiled a bit, blushing a bit more as he caught up in pace with her as they strolled back to Corie's home. "So, where exactly do you live? I never was informed or told where you live....." Jace explained to Corie, pointing out the rather obvious questions.

Corie thought about this for a little while. "Hrm .. Well, I guess the easiest place to get to is the park, so I sometimes sleep there. But my actual house is at the edge of the city. Near the gates, at least."
Thinking back on it, it was a bit of a long walk, but they were moving pretty quickly.
"you've known me for a while now, shouldn't you know this stuff?" She said rather teasingly.

Jace just chuckled a bit. "Yeah, but I've never had the priviledge of walking you home before" he whispered as they walked towards Trade Central and outside of Stormwind. All the while, Jace was silent. He didn't have anything to say or couldn't think of anything to talk about. He just walked on, Corie by his side.

((Wow, it's been a while. Sorry, I thought this one was dead for a while..."

Corie smiled slightly. "Yeah.. Wonder what's different now." she was only half joking.
"Well, there we are." She stopped in front of a simple building with a gigantic tree by it. She stared at the tree for a while and she snuck a glance at Jace. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" Her knuckles were rather sore by the beating of the dummies earlier.
