The Dragon of the Dungeon. "The reason we do not just kill them, Namira, is because we want to have fun with them. I'm sure that this will not result in my untimely demise, because that would be too obvious..."

a character in “Quest: The Dragon of the Dungeon”, originally authored by Script, as played by RolePlayGateway

ImageName: Shard
Age: 1623 (relatively young for a dragon, to tell the truth, but don't tell the mortals that!)
Race: Black Dragon
Occupation: Villain/Devourer of Maidens
Alignment: Neutral Evil. Shard knows that what he's doing is evil. He also knows that it is amusing. To him, the latter outweighs the former.

Personality: Surprisingly, Shard is an excellent conversationalist for a dragon, and is more likely to (personally) chat to you than bite your head off. Well, more likely to talk to you first, before biting your head off than just biting it off to start with. With a suitably dark sense of humour, Shard takes great pleasure in his devouring/terrorising of innocents -- because that is what dragons do, and he just wants to fit in. Pity him! Do it! You know you want to!

Powers: Beyond being a giant scary dragon with breath of fire and claws that can cut through rock, Shard is a capable necromancer, hence his control over his minions, and can assume a human form for the purposes of communication. This human form is surprisingly pretty, in contrast to his dragon form.

Weaknesses: Being the final boss, Shard has one single weak spot that it is nigh on impossible to reach. The gem in his forehead, if broken, will render him weak and vulnerable, .without magic and, generally, screwed.

Bio: There is a lot of it, and most of it has been hibernating. The few occasions that he decided to wake up, he went about devouring maidens for a decade or two. He's a dragon, what do you expect?

So begins...
