Name: Zael'Avel Nimir (Referred to as Hawk)
Age: 211
Race: Sylphid
Personality: Hawk is charismatic and charming among his own people. Brooding and dark among strangers. The ideal Prince, Hawk is often too prideful for his own good. It isn't that he thinks less of anyone else, its that he thinks too highly of himself. Hawk is quite headstrong and he marvels at the excitement of danger. In his long life he has seen many battles and fought in all of them. He has earned great merit among his people for being a skilled fighter and hunter. Hawk will not likely be described as a patient person as his temper is as famous as his skill with a sword. Though adventure is burned on his heart, he tends to take things far too seriously.
Skills and Talents:
• Battle tactic savvy.
• Skilled swordsman and archer.
• Excellent tracker.
• Carries with him the wisdom of three lifetimes (though it doesn't seem to be enough).
Weapons:
• Sword.
• Long Bow.
• Dagger
Brief History: Zael'Avel is the second eldest son of King Shervain and Queen Cyonthal . His older brother Sherethin was killed in battle when Zael'Avel was only 58. This left him as the heir to the Nes' Pyselya throne. Even though he was considered a child among his people, Zael took on the role as eldest (having a younger brother and two younger sisters) very seriously. He spent every moment for the next century training in weaponry, tracking, communing and virtuous ruling. When Zael turned 160, he cast himself into isolation for thirty years so as to better learn the ways of the Ru-Koeh (an ancient power that stems from all life on earth). When he returned to his people, he was marked as a revered prince. It was after this period of isolation that the Great Beast attacks the Forest. Its massive wings cast long shadows on the earth and its sharp talons ripped into the flesh of many Sylph. Its scaled hide was a thick and strong as rock and its eyes were large and penetrating. Zael and his father led the attack. They fought the creature for seven days before it was struck down by one of Zael’s arrows. The tip of which struck directly through the tender spot on the creatures forehead. This was how he earned the name “Hawk”. Zael, now called Hawk, used the hide of the creature to fashion armour and its teeth to forge the hilt of his sword. They are constant reminders to him that he must always, first, protect his people.
