You don't need eyes to see beauty. You can feel it with your heart. And once you understand this, you experience things in a new light. You notice the smaller details, and the simple things in life. He's been like this his whole life. And he loves every second of it. Past his heart of ice is a genuinely friendly person who'd protect who he loves. He's on the road to finding himself and what he wants in life.

Claudius can control two proxy souls. His proxy souls act at his weapons. Luckily, he can see an outline of the area through his proxies. He's more of a close-range fighter. His proxies attack at close proximity most of the time, and are a little hard to dodge, because his main quality is speed. Claude uses sound to detect where others may be, so sneaking past him can be difficult as well, but it's not too hard if you're a very quiet person. When it comes to it, having two proxies can be handy.

Despite him being quite tall, Claude is sometimes considered "cute", which he doesn't really appreciate. He has a small face, which is the main reason why. His hair is unruly and curly, and never seems to be able to change no matter how hard he tries. His arms and neck are defined, and his nose is pointed. He has a very simple style, and doesn't really care for looking his best all the time. Only when it's appropriate. The two slits on wrist isn't something he's very comfortable talking about. It was caused by his parents. The details are private. His low weight is helpful in agility as well. It helps him run faster. And as noticed, his eyes are white because of blindness.

When Claudius was born, he was expected to do great things. He was expected to change his country; to possibly change the world in a positive way. But, those beliefs were flushed down the drain when the doctor who delivered him told his parents that he was born blind. He wouldn't be able to see anything, and that took away many privileges he would've had if it hadn't turned out this way. His parents were disappointed a great amount.

As a young child, Claude wasn't tended to very much. He had to learn things on his own, so he cared for himself. Any nannies his parents hired were almost immediately fired for a reason Claude never knew or could figure out. But, he didn't care anyway. He never really liked them in the first place. They were much to "chipper" for his tastes, and they acted as if they've known the young boy his whole short life. All he really needed was himself.

Once he was old enough, his parents sent him to school. Rules were very strict and imprinted upon where he was enrolled. Although he easily could be recognized as the most disciplined and matured student there, nobody ever seemed to enjoy his company or presence. This was because of one obvious fact. Claude was also a mage. Where he lived, mages were more than often looked down upon. But, once again his cold personality allowed him not to care. He wouldn't want to be friendly with such discriminating people anyway. He felt bad (not really) for the children whose parents raised them that way; to not think of people who are different as equals. It surely was a shame.

Being alone all the time did have an impact on him though. Yes, it taught him independence, but it made him push people who were willing to get to know him- away. It caused those people to decide to leave him be. If he had not been such a loner, he would've had at least a friend or two. Another effect of this was how socially-awkward he was; he still is as awkward to this day. He just didn't know the right things to say without making a fool of himself. Even though he didn't really care what other people thought of him, he didn't want the entirety of society to be disgusted by him. It'd only make matters much worse.

Aside from all that, Claudius became a level two because all he did in his spare time was practice his possession magic. It started with simple attacks with one proxy, leading on to much more powerful attacks, and then came the second proxy. He needed to learn to do even more powerful attacks with both of his proxies. After he finished his final year of school, he decided to move to New Cairo, Egypt to attend Nethmar University. His parents didn't care, but was quite glad that he'd be out of their hair.

Now, he studies at Nethmar, and seems to be very happy that he's finally in a place where he'll be accepted for who he is. Though, he clearly doesn't show it.

New Cairo's city was almost as diverse as its population, boasting a number of different locations and districts, all home to different types of people. A cacophony of voices echoed through out the Red Sand as fans watched their favorite sports teams battle it out in the stadiums, none of them ever becoming too unruly with the ever watchful eye of the Raptora staring at them. When such one of these fans dared so, they were almost immediately rounded up and taken to one of the smaller facilities, some even grateful that they'd never be stuck in one of the cells in Ivaldi.

It was a place where reality seemed to bend and warp given the unnatural silence of the building, and if put in there for so long it wouldn't be a surprise for them to come out missing a few screws in their head.

Although seemingly ancient to most citizens, the Old Market held a lot of history in it, history that shouldn't be waved away by a hand and forgotten. A casual stroll through the market stalls could lead to seeing many old relics of the past, some which the older citizens will fondly remember, but others may see them as collectables, or even worthless. Though none can deny that there is a certain piece about the area.

With the abscence of city lights, noise and the more advanced technology, you're simply left with you're own thoughts and the presence of those around you. And while technology is beneficial in many ways, taking the time to have a honest conversation with another human can have its perks as well. Nethmar University's halls were filled with its all mage student body, the only real quiet locations in the school being the occasional classroom and the many libraries. If you happened to pass one particular room you might have even seen a myriad of mages practicing their branches of magic.

The Pulse District was as lively as it always was, despite the occasional fight that broke out in bars, and sometimes spilled into the streets. But under all of everyone's drunken, carefree attitudes was dormant anxiety. The Red Triad has been particularly incessant on attacking the Pulse District, and in the darkest hours of the night, you can often see members of them openly recruiting people.

While there are some that will openly mock them and all other mage supremacists, others are more hesitant to speak of them. Though there isn't any doubting that the Red Triad is in the corner of every New Cairo citizen's mind, everyone is waiting to see what they do next, especially the Raptora.

___________
Classes had ended for the day, and Claudius was about to go to work. His second year at Nethmar had just began. Classes weren't that hard, and it was seemingly calm for now. The only reason some students were staying a little late was to practice and maybe study. Who knew when they'd get hit with a pop quiz?

Claude was simply standing at the gates, his motorcycle beside him. He would've been long gone if it hadn't been for a pink-haired friend of his. She tended to be late to almost everything, and he was getting a little impatient. Just before he could decide to leave her, she appeared. She ran up to him panting, forcing out words in between breaths. "I'm so- *huff* sorry, Claude!" He simply glanced at his best friend, and turned to his bike, mounting it. "Yeah, yeah, let's just go, Navi."

Navi got on the bike behind Claude, and put her helmet on, along with him. He revved the engine, and sped off, hoping to make it to Hanna before they were late. The old market was busy as usual, people stuffed all around one another. Luckily, Claude could ride through without getting in anyone's way; with Navi's instructions of course. They both passed many shops and carts, selling to citizens and advertising a countless number of items. In the distance the black wooden sign that read "Alkafiin Hann" in gold letters was in sight. Parking his motorcycle at the side of the building, Claudius and Navi took off their helmets and rushed through the back door to the staff area.

They both went their separate ways to get changed into their uniforms. Claude slipped on his waiter's uniform. He opened the door, and stepped into the cafe. Almost every seat was occupied, and he was lucky he got there right on time. Navi soon stepped out after him, in her respected outfit.

"Alright, time to get to work. Long day ahead of us." Navi chuckled. "You can say that again. And sorry again for being late. It won't happen another time." Claude rolled his eyes and turned to where he could hear her voice. "Somehow, I highly doubt that statement." They both went to work.

Work was hard for Claude. Having to focus on one voice was really difficult, and not bumping into people was hard too. But, he managed, and worked just like any other worker would. Sure, he received odd looks from customers, not that he could tell, but they just ignored his disability in the end. There was a lot to do, with an almost full house. But, because this was Claude's only source of income, he had to work just as hard as the rest of his co-workers. Navi silently cheered him on whenever she could. Now tired was an understatement of how Claude felt. There was still a lot to do, though. I could go for a breather right now..
