Power: Myra has the power of invisibility which is something she has always thought of as both a blessing and a curse. It something that seems simple at first, but ever since she was little, it was something she found difficult to control as there wasnât an on and off switch. Though itâs a power people may think they know everything about, there is more than meets the eye...literally.
Invisibility means that the person or object in unseen to the human eye, this can happen by many different things, so Myra has literally practiced every type of this power. Things like bending light around an object. This allows clothing and other material near the object to become unseen as well, this meaning that she can create other things to be invisible to, though she could just touch it, but this is something she finds more energy draining that the bending of the light. She can cause invisibility to happen by not reflecting light visible to the human eye, or altering the reflected light into a non-visible wavelength. Ultraviolet and infrared are some examples. Some animals however may be able to see these wavelengths.
There is also the Perception Filter. A specific person or persons cannot see the object only because their perception has changed. Other people can see the object normally. The alteration can be a little Mind Trick but can also be a mental block the person suffers.
This all does mean that there is more to invisibility than most would have thought, itâs more complicated. But the most thing that truly controls Myraâs âswitchâ per say would be her emotions. If feeling negative, she will slowly become less and less visible until becoming invisible.
Likes:
+ The night, as a lover of astronomy and just the dark sky in general, she has the tendency to stay up late and watch the stars. However, this usually means she doesnât get much sleep and takes naps during the day to make up for the lack of rest.
+ Poetry, call her a secret romantic, but she loves them, any genre, any form, and any writer.
+ Tea, and lots of it! She adores the wide variety of lovely flavours and scents, and cannot go without a nice warm cup.
Dislikes:
- Those who know too much, about her that is, she instantly feels threatened and uncomfortable.
- Authority, or those with too much authority as though she may not show it, she feels nervous around them and also feels that they may abuse the power they hold.
- Chocolate, yes, Skylar hates anything sweet. Including chocolate.
- Staying Indoors for too long, the outdoors are fresh and so much more free.

Appearance: Myra is a girl with big bright hazel eyes, which is one of the reasoningâs behind her name. As someone with long honey brown locks, she is more likely to be spotted out only due to the fact that her biological parents have dark hair and eyes. While looking very elegant and graceful, it wasnât surprising to her parents that she got her appearance from her Grandmother who was someone quite famous among the relatives. Though very simple in style, she always wears things that are loose on her, never tight because she hates the feeling of restriction. Though as someone with a lovely hourglass figure, she never shows it, her mother always complaining how âshe doesnât show of her beautiful figure like her Grandmother.â Because of the fact she didnât show her beauty, no one really saw anything other than just...well, her clothing choice and so didnât bother much with her when growing up. It was only when she decided to attend a well known ball which all the âcoming of ageâ girls went to, that she really showed her beauty, which pleasantly surprised others. Though she went back to her normal ways much to her Mothers sadness, she reminded herself never to show anything that may let people judge her upon her looks, after all, if they cared enough, they would try to get to know her.
Personality: Myra is very much her own person, as someone who has always been quite motherly around those around her, she has a tendency to be too kind at time which can be mistaken as naive. She is a kind soul, and likes to give people the benefit of the doubt. Though her sweet natured personality is somewhat of a way to show her innocence, sheâll quickly slip into the background and become âinvisibleâ due to her such colourless attitude. As one who believes that if positive and caring enough, life may give you a treat, itâs fair to say that this girl hasnât yet grown up quite as quickly has others around her has hoped.
She is a cheerful person, and cannot stand to see someone cry or appear uncomfortable, because that will make her feel uncertain and uncomfortable as well. Thus, she tries to constantly keep up the spirits of all with her optimistic, nature and a fixed smile. She has concerns of her own, of course, fears and worries, but prefers not to think about them, favouring turning the attention towards others instead. Although she is quite honest and blunt at times, she much rather be tell the truth than keep up with lies, though this doesnât mean she is a saint and may lie to others to show herself as someone who is happier than she really is.
Myraâs shy and worried to approach people, in fear of rejection. But at the same time, she yearns for human contact and to form a connection with someone. She needs others to survive; her entire existence depends on them. Acceptance is the key, and sheâll do anything to get and keep it if she can. Myra holds those she clings onto high on a pedestal, thinking they can do no wrong, and as long as she follows their desires, sheâll be alright. Sheâd go to hell and back in compliance with their wishes, and is just about the most loyal friend you could dream of having at your side. Even if she doesnât agree with whatâs happening, sheâll go along with it for the sake of keeping others happy, and never doubts the decision of her supporter.
However, this being said, it seems that her smile these days is been much brighter...much more fake around everyone due to her lack of love. Once a little girl who dreamed of finding love and living âhappily ever after.â This dream doesnât seem to be happening and quickly seems to be showing it hidden cracks. Nonetheless, she shows her kindness and gentle compassion but in secret seems to be displaying rather sad and negative traits, as one who is always perfect on the outside; it seems that she is losing control of herself and her emotions day by day.
History: Myra was born in a hot day in a tiny town in Italy where she was brought up in a large household. Her parents, Aldric and Stephanie Pandora were surprised by her conception due to the fact they didnât want any more children nor held any futures on bringing up another child. Nonetheless, they didnât give up on the little newborn and welcomed her happily to the family which included 3 daughters and 2 brothers. All older than her.
As the baby of the family, she was picked on by the boys and ignored by the girls. She was strange after all, she had such a naive and innocent attitude, she was too optimistic and kind to those around her, even if they had been cruel to her yet she showed no aggression towards her âenemies.â It was clear the all the daughters of the Pandora household were beautiful and elegant, even Myra, though she was usually left alone in the background as the others took all the attention. Not that she cared exactly. Her brothers were strangely quite handsome, in a way that showed no effort. It seemed that her family was perfect and that everyone wished to be with them or like them.
It wasnât that long once she found out about her power. Feeling invisible for a very long time, at the age of 7, Myra did just that, become invisible for a whole day. The ironic thing was that no one truly noticed, including her parents who were too busy trying to get grips with their large family and the wine business. It was then when she couldnât control her powers, going days as invisible and taken all her energy just to turn visible again.
At the age of 12, feeling tired of being in the shadows; Myra stepped out and changed her personality, becoming cheerful and happy, outgoing and enthusiastic, this all in the hopes of her never to become invisible again as she got a harsh control of her negative emotions and locking them away. Since she had this power, she started trying to master it, and along the way found several other ways to use her power and turn other things invisible, and maybe even other people. It was then when she told her parents and quickly Maldoy Academy had sent a letter for her to start and train. Even though she accepted and left, her siblings believe she went to an all girls boarding school as they still have no idea about her power.
