Loz frowned at the old dragon's reply. He shook his body a bit before turning around and spotting the hydra. He wasn't so sure about messing with one of those. A regular single headed water dragon was one thing but this one had several heads and he knew that at least one of them could breath fire. “Well then, do you mind giving me some...” He turned his gaze back to the elder dragon as he appeared to be resting. “...advice...” He gave a sigh and started walking into the forest, “I guess not...” He pawed around the soft ground going in no particular direction.

The young dragon cleared a path through the thick forest by eating his way through like the glutton he was. Crunching the poisoned ferns and oaks in his teeth and keeping his fire down when he'd accidentally eat healthy tree. It wasn't until he caught the scent of another that he stopped eating. He walked through the trees a bit more before spotting a man... no a hybrid.

Loz crouched down and eyed the hybrid as he hunted a dragon. Why would he hunt his own? Loz didn't hate hybrids nearly as much as the elder dragons did. He found them to be odd and out of place but he certainly didn't have any ill thoughts of them. His eyes narrowed a bit as he watch the man shoot down a dragon. Loz' tail flickered with interest as he watched the commotion keeping his distance and just waiting for the perfect moment to leap in.

Loz winced when he saw the hybrid shoot down the dragon and try to make it fight him. The young dragon snorted when the other flew off giving up before the fight began. This guy was just a hybrid after all. How much damage could he do. He slowly crept forward staying as low to the ground as his massive body would allow. His dark black scales blending into the shadows of the trees perfectly as his eyes began to glow and an sparking orb of light pushed his jaw open as some of the magnetic rocks lifted off of the ground. He sent the low charge at the hybrid knowing that it wouldn't do much harm let alone kill him. He just needed some excitement from an otherwise mundane day.

His tail swept over the ground bumping into trees as his excitement grew. His razor sharp claws dug into the cool earth uprooting some small bushes before he began to circle the hybrid keeping his distance and moving slow so that his camouflage wouldn't be disrupted. He slowly moved closer the scales on his neck rattling a bit before he froze. His eyes narrowed a bit as he drew in a breath before a low flame was exhaled out.

A thunderous roar left the prideful dragon's maw as he charged the hybrid. Uncaring of the consequences he kept on expecting and almost wanting the hybrid to put up a good fight. He was already charging up another lightening blast to send at him knowing that fire doesn't effect most dragons and so assumed the same for the hybrid.

Renatus' arm drooped as the bottle of water rolled out of his hand and onto the ground. Renatus' eyes, shifted he felt uneasy and uncomfortable a feeling that he was being watched this didn't scare him however but made him cautious, he felt his senses heightened by the adrenaline being produced. He pushed himself up from the charred remains of the tree and began scanning every space in the clearing, he wasn't going to be caught off guard. After a few minutes he began to wonder if his mind was playing tricks on him and that the feeling in his gut which he had trusted for so long was wrong. Renatus shook his head wearily, and began walking away he needed a rest.

Just as he was walking away Renatus felt a charge of lightning hit him he staggered nearly falling he looked up with more irritation then pain in his eyes, he was certain he wasn't alone. His mind ironically sparked at the thought that maybe a Thunder Dragon fired the shot, after a few seconds he went for his gun perhaps it was toying with him? He hadn't met a Dragon like that before but hey, there's a first for everything.

Renatus' fiery blood chilled as he heard a roar from behind him, turning instinctively he saw the Thunder Dragon it was charging right for him. Renatus' thoughts were dazed he could see the Dragon was charging another bolt up, he aimed for the Dragon's mouth hoping to spark off a chain reaction he began firing rapidly trying to slow its charge.

Loz felt some of the bullets connect with his muzzle while the others were pulled into the ball of lightening that was preparing to fire from his jaws. The bullets in his mouth never touched his flesh and stayed in the charge as it continued to grew. He didn't want to kill the hybrid just yet. He wanted to play for a bit and see just how strong someone who is only half dragon is. Perhaps his human half would hinder him and make this battle end a little early.

The ball of lightening shot out of the young dragon's maw and headed straight for the hybrid... or rather the gun in the hybrid's hand. It was drawn to the metal. He pivoted around and swept his tail across the ground to both protect his self from the bullets and to try to catch the man off guard. It was his first encounter with a hybrid and maybe playing around with him wasn't the smartest thing that Loz could have done. It wasn't as if he was the wisest dragon, he was still considered a hatching by the elders.

Renatus felt the adrenaline coursing through him, he could see the bullets were ineffective against the Dragon he would have to think of something new. He arched down as he saw the Dragon release another bolt of lightning, it struck his gun and must have struck the bullets as the gun exploded simultaneously his hand seemed okay since the flames of the explosion didn't do any damage and his bones held it together quite well. Renatus was knocked down by the explosion of the gun however and thankfully since the Dragon swung its tail missed, Renatus out of frustration stuck his hand out grabbing the Dragon's swinging tail.

He felt himself being lifted up into the air, he arched his body downwards and let go flying upward for a few seconds before falling onto the Dragon's back, some of the spines pierced into his skin. He began crawling up the Dragon's back trying to get to the head, he wasn't going to kill it yet this Dragon for some odd reason he found interesting he wanted to know if the other Dragon he fought was his friend, he didn't even know Dragons had friends and was honestly quite curious of the psychology of a Dragon.

Loz didn't feel the hybrid until he was on his back. He didn't think of the dangers of anyone being on his back. The scales and spines on his back were nearly impenetrable and dangerously sharp he gathered from the smell of blood. He craned his neck back trying to see the small creature on his back. He had to spin a bit but his deep red eyes locked onto him and narrowed. He blew a puff of black smoke at the hybrid.

“Get off.” He ordered darkly before he started to buck and shake. He didn't want to kill him yet. Things were just starting to get fun. He stopped after a while and simply stared ahead. His fun gone. “Why do hunt your own kind?” He asked as he laid down with a loud thud and slowly began to roll onto his back. He figured that if this guy was smart then he would move. Once on his back he quickly rolled back onto his feet to protect his belly and looked for the hybrid. He wanted to satisfy this curiosity.

Renatus stopped directly from his ascent up the Dragon's back when its eyes locked onto him, he was ready to lash out but to his surprise the Dragon let out a puff of smoke Renatus coughed his lungs were adept at dealing with smoke, but it still irritated him. "Get off." he heard the Dragon order before it started to try to buck him off, Renatus' grip was like a vice however and this did little to disrupt his position.

After a couple of minutes the Dragon stopped which honestly for Renatus was more intimidating then the roars, the fire and the death silence was unpredictable you didn't know what you were going to get, and that aspect infuriated him to no ends. "Why do you hunt your own kind?" the Dragon asked as it began to lie down and roll onto its back, Renatus surprised at this blinked owlishly before realising it'd probably be best to let go before being crushed. He hopped off landing rather awkwardly, the Dragon once on its back rolled back onto his feet in a defensive stance, its eyes looking for him.

Renatus didn't know how to respond usually a Dragon would yell at him telling him how much of an abomination he was, while trying to kill him of course but a genuine question? The Dragon even compared itself to be kiin to Renatus which surprised him even further. Renatus blew a puff of fire into the air, not directly at the Dragon but to get its attention "I'm an abomination am I not?" Renatus spoke in a slightly mocking manner, "Isn't that what an abomination does?" he was curious about this Dragon, but he was being cautious, "better safe than sorry" his mother used to tell him.

Loz lowered his self to the ground at the sight of the flame from the hybrid. He dug his claws into the cool earth and stared at the small being as he spoke. The young dragon's tail flickered a bit, “A freak... yes,” His words were cool, “But, I don't think that I would go so far as to call you an abomination.” He spoke knowing that older dragons would see the hybrid as a complete abomination but the young dragon saw him as something to study. “Really, only the elders find your kind to be a bother. Abomination or not, you still have dragon blood in you.”

“Defending yourself, perhaps...” He turned his head to the side, “Yes, defending yourself and territory makes sense.” His mouth twitched as he thought back to when the hybrid shot down the other dragon and tried to force it to fight. “But, you instigated a fight with a fire breather who obviously wanted to be peaceful.”

Loz lowered his head and stretched out his neck so that he was as close to the hybrid as he could be without being tempted to eat him. “Tell me why you attack your own kind... are you flamer?” He paused as his eyes darted away, “That would explain your strength...” He grumbled before locking his eyes back onto the hybrid.

Renatus kept a suspicious eye on the Dragon, as it spoke "A freak yes," the Dragon's words were cool "But, I don't think that I would go so far as to call you an abomination." Renatus folded his arms slightly, it was interesting to hear another view on his 'genes' "Really only the elders find your kind to be a bother. Abomination or not, you still have dragon blood in you." Renatus inclined his head sideways slightly confused, he thought about interrupting to ask why the elders hated him so much. Perhaps it was because even humans vermin in the dragons eyes stole some of their power, making it their own.

"Defending yourself, perhaps..." the Dragon turned his head to the side, "Yes, defending yourself and territory makes sense." Renatus noticed the Dragon twitch his head, Renatus stifled a small grin, but question sprung to his mind "What do you mean?" his voice was ragged, and rough "I was hunting." The Dragon continued probably deep in thought "But, you instigated a fight with a fire breather who obviously wanted to be peaceful.

The Dragon stretched out his neck, he was fairly close and Renatus resisted the urge to attack the Dragon it would've been fairly easy to lay in a final blow, "Tell me why you attack your own kind... are you flamer?” the Dragon paused as his eyes darted away, “That would explain your strength...” the Dragon grumbled before locking his eyes back onto Renatus "Really you wanted to ask me that?" Renatus spoke, simply "I thought that the answer would be fairly obvious." Renatus eyes focused on the Dragon's eyes "I'll tell you if you tell why do you attack humans?" Renatus' voice turned into an accusing one "They're intelligent they think and feel and you disregard this and lay waste to them for... fun." Renatus features contorted into a frown, the Dragon's answer is certainly going to be interesting.

Loz let out a throaty laugh at his response. Perhaps his curiosity was misunderstood. He pulled back so that he wasn't so vulnerable, "Sure it's fun," His tongue flickered like a snake as his eyes darted to the left. "But, I only kill when I'm hungry..." His eyes were locked onto a large deer, "Most of the life on this planet is intelligent..." He quickly lept over to the deer and closed his jaws over it while sending out a small flame to char it. "I still have to eat," He turned back to the hybrid as he licked his scaly lips.

The dragon pawed back over to where he was and laid down on his belly keeping his head up and eyes locked on the person in front of him. "Besides," His tone grew darker and a bit bitter, "I don't think that my species is the one who put my home in its current condition..." He let out a short growl before bursting into laughter. The thunder dragons have never thrived so much. The war was the best thing that could have happened to them. "Actually, I love what your people have done to the place." He bit into a tree so poisoned that its bark had turned gray and its leaves, while still alive, had a purple tint to them.

Savoring the flavor of the sick tree Loz almost forgot he was with another. "What's your reason, hybrid?" He huffed as he dug his claws into the ground. He lowered his head some but kept his distance as he sniffed the man. He smelled like human. Too much like human. But, he knew the dragon blood was in him, he could smell it. His head tilted to the side some. Should I eat you or... Something made Loz want to keep this one alive. He seemed like a tough one, plus it was his first meeting with a hybrid after all. Maybe he'll be some fun... The dragon licked his lips as he kept his eyes locked onto the hybrid not moving for any distraction. It probably would come off as him trying to size up the hybrid or maybe even about to kill him.
