Initially Mitford's aura is very stereotypical for an Englishwoman, elegant, polite, alongside seemingly stoic and disinterested in all things surrounding her. However, surprisingly, she is actually very caring and devoted, resembling the traits of a mother.
Even more ironically, Mitford can be rather clumsy and a little bit reckless. She shows great concern and loyalty for her fellow survivors and respected individuals, selflessly defending them which is often mistaken for stubbornness. BACKGROUND
Mitford was born into wealth and luxury, as the middle child of a noble household located just south of London. As a fresh and lively young poppet refrained from (most of) the impurities of the world, Mitford was raised to hold knowledge of the virtues of the English, and (almost) never lose a piece of her lady-like shield. This however, was backfired when Mitford had rebellious tendencies such as rolling around in the mud when her mother was away or stealing from the manor's kitchen during curfew. It was revealed that she felt sheltered in the supposed "bubble" of society, growing a curiosity of the world outside the mansion and presumably finding the upper-class lifestyle overall tedious. Ophelia was fairly strict and pushed her daughter around often. Mitford has found the presence of her mother to be excruciating, but Ophelia was only trying to enhance the probability of her most threatened child to grow into a strong and ruthless woman that no one wants to mess with. Unbeknownst to her mother, Mitford's post-war father Lawrence taught her several skills he learned during his days as a British officer. Lawrence was anxious that another war would be approaching and considering that maybe his daughter could do well in the battlefield, so in order to execute this plot smoothly he personally trained Mitford hand-to-hand combat for her to use had there really been another war approaching. The skills Mitford was taught coupled well with her later reputation as a spy even if she was considered mediocre for the majority of the time.
Mitford has been sent to various boarding schools for upper-class girls, unfortunately being a subject of bullying for her early frail and vulnerable appearance as a child. When her parents finally gave up and decided to enroll her in a more precise university, the results merely improved. Mitford was an exceptional student, excelling in nearly every class provided for her. Educated alongside many posh students, Mitford made an oath to reconstruct the economic realm that has been shattered since The Great Depression. However when suspicions of another potential war broke out, Mitford was quickly escorted by her admired father to serve in the Auxiliary Territorial Service and then shortly the Secret Intelligence Service. Mitford has made both allies and enemies during the war, and was often on the brink of death because of her unwilling occupation. She has developed extremely mixed and uncertain feelings of her assigned job, eventually feeling proud and relieved that she actually saved tremendous amounts of lives. As a spy, Mitford took advantage of her job and shortly met an SS doctor, Edward Richtofen. Even when he discovered her treacherous occupation, they managed to develop a strong and committed relationship despite the tension between the two.
Luckily, Mitford survived the devastating event after serving her country for a good seven years. After the war, alongside numerous exhausted individuals, Mitford relocated to the colossal underwater city of Rapture to hopefully avoid any further circumstances, alongside Richtofen who has set down his dark past as a German officer and lead a continuation of his medical research.
