Setting

THE WELCOME CENTER to RAPTURE is the first place one sees once stepping off of the bathysphere and is a recreational area designed to show newcomers the wealth and luxury of the city. There are several restaurants and leisure activities located here, including the KASHMIR RESTAURANT where the New Year's Eve bombings occurred. The KASHMIR is a two-level eatery with one of several COCKTAIL LOUNGE establishments within it. The FOOTLIGHT THEATER is also located in this area, a spot popular with the working class where shows are performed. The Transit Hub here takes one either to the Medical Pavilion or Neptune's Bounty.
