The first noticeable thing about Sascha is his corpse-like appearance. The man is very pale, verging on grey, and the harsh scars criss-crossing his face don't help this. He's gaunt and tall (6'3") with sunken in cheeks and thin limbs. Even his pierced tongue has a greyish tinge to it. Alongside his facial scars, he has a heavy one on his shoulder where he was attacked by a member of the cult he belonged to with a fireaxe. Fortunately, it didn't do too much damage as he jerked away at the last minute, but the scar is heavy. His eyesockets are pretty much entirely scarred over, and he can't open them to put in glass eyes. His skin is nearly always cold, and his extremeties in particular have a bluish tinge to them. His hair is dark and cropped short. Sascha has wonky teeth, and his gums often bleed. Sascha has a lot of piercings. Most noticeable is his nose piercing, which links to a stud in his ear. He has a tattoo of a birch tree on his back with crows in.

Personality: Sascha is pretty sure he's pathetic and couldn't make it without someone supporting him and telling him what to do, thanks to his disorder. He tends to see others as strong, capable and a port in a storm for him. Sometimes it might bother people when he becomes so clingy and helpless, but he honestly cannot help it. He can be seen as naive, as he will follow what others tell him to without question a lot, and puts their wishes before his own every time. Sascha often mocks and berates himself, much to the frustration of those around him. Despite his disorder, he's an intelligent and highly creative man. He's attuned to the desires of others and will generally find it easy to tell when others are upset, even if they mask it. Sascha could be considered selfless - more likely, 'lack of self esteem' would be better. He's a gentle man and very kind.

Illness(es): Dependant Personality Disorder, Psychosis NOS, Reynaud's (hence his cold skin), was a selective mute as a child, blind.

Likes/Dislikes: likes - industrial music, piercings, 'gothy' clothes, his glass armonica (at home), music, colours (when he could see), kind people, being spoken to like he's an adult, hugs, warmth, Italian food, going for walks in the sun.
dislikes - destructiveness, having to resort to violence, remembering that he's killed someone in the past, loud people, being spoken at rather than to, food with fish in, big decisions.

History: He relied heavily on his twin sister, Safie, for years and years. She made the decisions in his life and supported poor Sascha as best she could. This was a huge burden on such a young girl, but she did it with little complaint. Anything for Sascha. He managed to eke out a somewhat happy existance at the cost of Safie's social life. The girl was tough, though, and shouldered any burden her brother gave her. The family was rich, and Sascha wanted for nothing as a child, thanks to their fashion designer mother, Natalya Corivan, and their father (her assistant) Matthew Corivan. He grew up bilingual (Russian and English), but all went awry when he was kidnapped. The kidnapper, upon not receiving his ransom right away, blinded poor seven year old Sascha. He still carries the scars on his face. Sascha seemed to 'break' after that. He stayed in a hospice for children for many years, refusing to speak to anyone. He continued with his schooling only at age 12. Surprisingly enough, the boy caught up and finished school in the hospice at the correct age. With love and help from his parents, sister, hopsice workers and doctors, he finally began to speak again. Before that, he'd only made odd little sounds - little did they know that Sascha was using echolocation.

When Sascha was aged 15, he began to take up music, learning through touch. It was a hard path, but Sascha tried incredibly hard. By age 18, he could play the violin, piano, cello, guitar and flute. He was seen as some sort of miracle child and paraded around for the papers. Unfortunately enough, that led him to become even more withdrawn and attached to other people. One day, he made friends with another young man who initiated him into some kind of 'cult'. Although he didn't realise it, Sascha started to become psychotic through stress, trusting the outside world less and less and putting all his trust in the leader of the cult. Ordered to kill someone aged 21, he carried it out by smashing their head in with a baseball bat. Although at the time he was positive he was killing a threat to 'god' (the cult leader), he later became incredibly regretful.

After years of trials, aged 23, he was considered a danger to society and sent to Raynedale. Sascha hates the place and his DPD has worsened since he went there. He often follows other patients around helplessly.

Other: He still speaks a little Russian but not very much. Due to his lack of health and being blind, he'd be useless in a fight, and whenever any of the other patients have attacked him, he's had to rely on nurses and orderlies to help him.
