Name
Cass-Isnt-Here
Itās a pleasure to meet you, what may your name be?
Gender
Female~
I would have been lied to all my life if I was maleā¦.
Appearance
Just by looking at her, you wouldnāt think she is someone who could ruthlessly kill nor is someone who thinks poorly of people. Her almost malnourished body makes her look to sickly to harm a fly. Her almost translucent skin also contributes to the image of frailness. She stands at an average height of 5ā7 feet and has limbs as thin as paper. What people donāt notice is that her thin limbs are compact with muscles, making her more dangerous than her appearance gives off.
Cassās sharp red eyes are shaped in such a fashion that makes her lookā¦suspicious. She absolutely hates her eyes and wishes she had blue eyes instead. They were a disgusting, demonic color that sickened her whenever she looked in a mirror. Despite her opinion her eyes suited her whole appearance. They are often dull and convey an expression of mildness, even though they were a bright red; they werenāt interesting to look at with the lack of emotions.
Along with her translucent skin and red eyes, Cass had a long mane of snow white hair that rested lazily around her hips. Her wildly chopped bangs surrounded her sharp face, softening her look. She tries to give it some semblance of order by tying her hair up in with a red and white bow. Even though she absolutely despised the color red, most of her clothing is of that color. Cass, almost obsessively, always wears brown knee high boots, which are laced up tightly with pristine white laces. She is often seen wearing some sort of red pair of pants that are stuffed into her boots in a rushed manner. Of course, you can assume she wears a shirt, any sort of shirt, it doesnāt matter to her.
Do looks really matter? Oh, well then.
Powers
Breathing Naturally: When she evokes this power, gills naturally form on the side of her neck, which allow her to breathe under water for a few hours, but she canāt breathe on land while she has gills. This is a defense mechanism to ward off monsters or when she needs to recuperate her energy. However, because the setting this year is a desert, she canāt use this power often.
Phasing States: Cass can pull water out from the air by gathering the water vapor in the atmosphere. She is also able to manipulate it into ice. This is useful when she isnāt near a body of water and when it isnāt raining. Cass causes this to occur by controlling the temperature of the water.
Aquatic Manipulation: This power goes hand in hand with phasing states. It allows her to force the water into the shape she requires and can send it out to attack someone or something. She can only use this on water, but it can be in any state. She can only manipulate a certain amount of water, but its powerful enough that Cass can force water down someoneās throat.
Fade: It a more a defensive power than an offensive. It lets Cass become unnoticeable for a short amount of time, so she can spring a surprise attack. But she would have to move quickly because it only lasts a few minutes and after she touches the creature it stops working.
Fluid Motion: This power lets her be more flexible than the human body would allow, she can twist and turn in odd positions in order to slip through the gasp of an opponent. However, if she got stuck in a particular position it would be difficult for her to get back to normal. While Cass is using this power, she strength decreases so she has to rely on speed and pressure points.
Do stop telling them my powers.
Weapon
She carries a pair of concealed daggers that are normally found strapped on the outside of her thigh covered in leather. The blades are made of rhodium and the hilt is of made of ivory. They arenāt flashy, but Cass is most comfortable in using her daggers.
They are very pleasant it use.
Familiar
Her familiar is commonly known as a kelpie, Cass calls him Nile, but no one else knows his name. If they knew his name, they would be able to give him commands and potentially control him. He looks like a normal black house with oddly colored seaweed hair. The feature that gives him away is his skin, akin to a sealās it is smooth and as cold as dead. Before Cass met Nile, he had a lovely tendency to lure and drown children, then would proceed to eat them.
It is very interesting being around him.
Personality
As polite and friendly as Cass seems to be, most of her thoughts maintain a common theme; insults, to be precise. It is all an act that she has perfected over the years of interaction with people. They tend to flock towards her because of her predictable reactions towards everything they say and do. No matter what, she would most likely nod along and say empty words that mean nothing. However, in her mind, Cass has surprisingly expressive reactions towards what people around her say and do. She feels strongly about almost everything, but any of her true, uncensored thoughts. She sees the people around her as selfish, irritating beings clumsy with their actions; they rarely think about how the people around them would react.
Since she harbors a deep irritation towards people, Cass is naturally quiet. She doesn't like socializing with people, and whenever she says something, she is afraid that an insult might slip. She often attempts to spare other peopleās pride by being quiet; knowing that if someone insulted her, she would also feel deeply offended and hurt.
With the constant need to swallow emotions, she is often rancor when alone. The only person she doesnāt mind being around is Nile and thatās only because he has all of his priorities in order, which she efficiently stops him from achieving, such as drowning small children. They have a stable, almost friendship. But Cass is also a bit like a ticking time bomb, with every insult swallowed another second ticks by until she explodes with furious emotions.
Cass cares deeply for eaten and drowned children even though she may not show it, but the emotions are there. With her almost expressionless, colorless mask, she is more sensitive than she seems to be. No matter how much time and effort she spends to conceal her sympathy towards those infants, there are still a few imperfections. One of them, perhaps her biggest flaw, is her passion for blood. When Cass is in the middle of a battle, and only thinking about the fight, her mask slips away. But even with the mask gone whatās shown isnāt her true personality and the emotions that are reflected by her face arenāt her average feelings. Bloodlust distorts it; twisting and turns it into a personality similar to a maniacās. She dons on a wide, malicious grin, an apathetic manner, but most of all ruthless words spill from her normally polite lips.
Whyād you tell them everything about me?
Final Power
Puppet Master: This power allows Cass to manipulate all the liquid in a living organism. She is able to pull out all the blood from an animal, or stop any movements of liquid in an organism. She only has a short period of time to do this and physically vulnerable to attack when she is using this power.
Itās so much fun pulling all that blood out of a living thing.
Fighting Style
Cassās fighting style would often be compared to how an assassin would battle. She enjoys popping out of nowhere and slashing a monsterās throat behind their back. She has a tendency to use Fade and Fluid Motion more often than her other, more offensive powers. She relies mainly on her ability to stay out of the monstersā reach. She uses her legs to throw spin kicks and only uses her arms for cutting up monsterā Cass only uses her powers pertaining to water when she absolutely has to. She prefers using water in its normal state, liquid. Itās particularly enjoyable for her to force it down peopleās throats and drown them. That may be why her and Nile are great companions, they both like drowning things.
If you keep telling these strangers everything about how I fight, Iām going to be destroyed.
Theme Song
Muse - Futurism
Notes
She has a tendency to start running in the opposite direction when she sees a group of people.
