Name PoeticJustice8012
”Call me Poetic.”

Gender Female
”No, I am clearly male.”

Appearance
Poetic has bright red eyes and long black hair, soft as silk that ends at about mid-back. She’s thin, but not to the point of being unhealthy, and comes off as more lithe than anything else. She has marble-white skin that contrasts sharply with her hair and eyes, as well as her usual choice of clothes (which, speaking of, are usually black or dark blue). She prefers to wear black boots and black jeans, along with a dark blue sweater or some kind of shirt, underneath her black jacket. She rarely wears anything brighter, unless she has no other clothes.
”If you have anything to say, say it before I cut your tongue out.”

Powers
Light Step: The ability to move, for a few moments, faster than the speed of light. This is not super speed, because it lasts for such a short time. Poetic is able to move roughly twenty to thirty feet away in the blink of an eye, allowing her to duck under another person’s defense. It makes her tired to use it, and rarely uses it more than once or twice in a single fight. It is more affective against one enemy than multiple.
Restoration: Poetic can heal herself at a much quicker pace than any other human, allowing her to recover from otherwise deadly wounds without much effort. This is an automatic ability that saves her from anything except instant death, dying from lack of food/water/sleep, or mental wounds. While healing, she is fine, but later she needs to eat and drink more to make up for the used energy. It is much better if she just doesn’t get hurt.
Minor Telekinesis: Not strong enough to pick up anything larger than a motorcycle, Poetic can still lift most people and many objects, as well as just using it to avoid some projectiles and various attacks. She usually doesn’t use it while fighting, though.
Fire Creation: Exactly what it says. Poetic can create fire out of nothing, as long as there is oxygen around her. She cannot sustain it herself, and needs to set something on fire or continually create new fire (like if she was using it as a light-source). This dehydrates her, so she needs to drink water after creating too much fire.
Fire Manipulation: Poetic can control fire that has already been created. Mostly used along with her fire creation ability, this does not take very much out of her, but she has to be careful not to be burned.
”Be careful, children, when playing with fire.”

Weapon
Poetic uses a large bow, a few inches taller than her, as her weapon. It is made out of dragonbone, giving it a silver-gold gleam, though at a glance it will look silver from age. It had various patterns etched into the bone, none of which she’ll explain to you unless you’re a very close friend. Her bow will fire arrows made of moonlight or sunlight, depending on the time of day. The bowstring is also made of moon/sunlight, again depending on the time of day. Poetic does not hold the arrows; instead they appear as she needs to shoot them.
”If you can see it, then you aren’t dead yet. Congrats.”

Familiar
Her familiar is a large black wolf, maybe a little smaller than your average Hummer, with bright red eyes. It looks fierce, but is only dangerous to those who oppose Poetic. She affectionately calls it Nemesis. Nemesis is similar to a hell hound, but is clearly more tamed and less likely to kill you.
”She’s nice, unless you happen to annoy me.”

Personality
Poetic is not known for being very social, or nice. She’s blunt, occasionally rude, painfully sarcastic, and often threatens others for very minor reasons. She is cold to people she’s just met, but a quick battle with them as allies can create a long-lasting alliance. She is very reliable and, once you earn her respect, trustworthy. She will never betray you, and will go down fighting for a close friend. She dislikes those who will sell their abilities, such as mercenaries, and finds that kind of work below her. She isn’t above lying, fighting dirty, or otherwise fighting “dishonorably” if it will help her win. Morals and ethics aren’t really something she follows, though she’ll never kill anyone she considers too young. She has her own way of doing things, and it’s best to let her do things her way and not try to understand her, or else you’ll just get confused. Poetic can become a friend, though, to some people (even if her friendship is hard to earn). She is loyal to a fault to those who earn her respect, and once friends with someone, it will take a very drastic event for her to cut the friendship off. She does find it hard to trust people, so while she will keep your secrets, she will rarely tell you hers. She is not easily annoyed because she really just tunes you out, and is great at being able to pretend to listen. One thing you should know is that she is extremely critical towards everything, including herself (if not mostly). This also leads her to be incredibly cynical, always second-guessing what happens. She is not afraid to hold back and will be brutally honest, thinking that holding back is just softening you up. When she helps people she often ends up doing something wrong, or her actions backfire; so, while the intentions are pure (enough), the results can be quite disastrous. One last note: once you are considered a friend, with her respect and even trust, she will never let anything happen to you, even if it might lead to her own death.
”I do hope you can stay and chat, because that’s the first thing on my to-do list.”

Final Power
Poetic can create a five-pointed star that shoots out a blast of energy, instantly killing any minor beast or monster than is hit by it. For bosses, it is similar to getting punched. For other Avatars it has no real affect other than blinding them for a moment. This takes a lot of energy out of her, and she will only use it as a last resort. The beam is roughly twenty to twenty five feet long and five feet wide. To make, Poetic must make the shape of a five-pointed star in the air, summoning up either moonlight/sunlight and focus it to form the attack.
”I won’t use it if we get along.”

Fighting Style
As you’d expect from her size, Poetic is much more of a quick fighter than a strong one. She relies on being mobile, keeping herself moving in order to make her a hard target to hit, and tries to keep the damage to a minimum. More often than not she will simply avoid the first few attacks, trying to get a feel for her enemy’s own fighting style, before acting accordingly. She likes having both height and distance on her opponent, but when that doesn’t happen she proves to be a very good hand-to-hand fighter, and is able to use both daggers and swords. While she would rather defeat her enemy from a distance, when she does get in close she’ll use her fire ability to burn the enemy, or just beat them using her own hands. She can also use her bow as a kind of staff, since it is incredibly touch and will not break. She rarely runs away, since she uses her environment to her advantage, but is not above running to live another day (unless there is more than pride on the line).
”I’d race you, but I’m afraid that it wouldn’t be a very even match. But who knows? You might actually see me move.”

Notes
Poetic has more than a few skeletons in her closet. She occasionally sees things, most notably “UnfairJustice” her self-proclaimed dark side, though recently it has been getting better. Also, the longer and more elaborate her threats are, the least likely they are to be serious. That is, the short ones are the most dangerous. Lastly, she has quite a competitive streak, though she will deny it and even go to great lengths to avoid seeming like she wants a competition... Even if it's really just a one-sided thing. She spends much of her free time thinking. Thinking about anything, really, but mainly what could have been or almost-was. If you interrupt her thoughts, you'll mostly get cryptic answers until she's ready to talk... If ever.
