The world of RE:claim occurs in the year 3899, almost 15 years into the Great War between the I.P.A. (Inter-Planet Alliance) And The Dragoon Empire. Calyx Mason, a mysteriously powerful teenager, and his comrade Dominick Fages III, the exiled prince of Dragoon who was supposedly exiled for treason against the new king, his uncle and the main Antagonist of the story, Zelderhiem Fages.

There are 4 different types of Claimers; Generic, Elder, Demon, Celestial.

Generic Cores: Unrealized programmable cores with a basic rune pattern.

Elder Cores: The original cores that were designed to protect the Celestial Core. 10 Elder Cores exist but were scattered across the galaxy when the Great War began. A prophecy is for told that all the elder cores will be reunited when the Celestial Core is Awakened and fully Realized. Each Core has a different abilities and powers:
1. Gemini
a. Able to split weapons, gear, items, and people in two as well as switching the elemental charge of the new object.
b. If the user is not in full control of their emotions it can also take over their mind and influence their actions.


2. Reverb
a. Able to supercharge the user’s psychic ability to 1000% its capacity.

3. Blaze
a. Supercharges any fire user’s natural ability to use and create fire to 1000% their normal capacity.
b. If the user is not in full control of their emotions it can also take over their mind and influence their actions.
4. Surge
a. Supercharge any water user’s natural ability to use and create water to 1000% their normal capacity.

5. Gust
a. Supercharges any wind users natural ability to use and control air to 1000% their normal capacity.

Demon Cores: Cores created by Zelederhiem from his own flesh to combat the users of the Elder cores and take the Celestial Core. The Demon cores feed off of the negative energy within the users’ heart to take control of their mind. He chooses the most damage individuals to wield the demon cores correctly to activate its full potential. It also slowly drains their life force if they don’t take enough lives to sustain the negative soul charge used to reach the cores full power to combat the elder cores effectively.

Celestial Core: is a powerful doomsday/world saving weapon, no one knows what it looks like, who has it, who it was created it, or even if it truly exists. Most say that the Celestial core is a fairy tale, but rumor has it that whoever wields will be granted their hearts greatest desires. The truth is that the Celestial Core is actually in the body of a 19 year old boy.


Claimers (similar to watches)are just wrist mounted tools configured to their users; they usually are the favorite colors of that user. Claimers are able to hold countless items, weapons, and armor. Tells time, allows user to communicate with teammates but com systems are hack-able, connect to inter-planetary networks. The reason they are called claimers is because they are able to send the user's personal data in the form of a beam to any unclaimed or team item for said user to use correctly.
