Calm, Helpful and Down-to-Earth. Helps weary travelers and survivors. He is not aggressive, and will not harm anything unless in self-defense. He is very firm in his business dealings, though.

Bandits; "I can't heal everybody, and those boys aren't helping."

Reading; "You never know, you could find something that'll save your gol-derned life."
Sight-seeing; "I used to go bird-watching with my buddies. I found the landscape far more interesting."

Equipment

Medical Supplies; Bandages to Defibrillators, and everything in between. Also has a set of simple surgical tools and an operating table.

Model 1887; 7-shot, lever action, 12 Gauge shotgun. He is relatively safe in his haven, but you never know.

Gasoline; He has a few(hundred) cans to spare.

A generator; it threw a belt and doesn't work, but if someone could fix it...

Solar powered lights; Ceiling lights, not flashlights. It helps to be self-sufficient. And have a deep understanding of how the sun works.

HASMAT Suit; Doesn't really need it, but looks cool. Complete with gas mask and a years worth of filters.

History

Dr. Zed grew up in Utah, in the more rural parts. He moved into this area when he was 20, and has lived here ever since. He was a relatively normal man, living as a Professor in the local University. He had a wife and no children. Doing to his wife being very vigilant about stocking up, he has an abundance of supplies, including medical stuff. When the apocalypse began rudely interrupting his life, he converted his basement house(ish-thing..) into a makeshift bunker of a clinic. He rarely gets any patients anymore, as most people are dead or mutated, but he tries to be helpful to passers-by by giving them medical attention, a place to crash a few nights, and pointing them in the right direction.

And yes, hes got a PhD. Hello, "Dr." Zed?
