Introduction

The Wild West

The West Elizabeth Territory

The Great Plains, where the buffalo herds roam and hunters prey on them killing them off at an alarming rate. The Tall Trees, where Indians remain in all of their resilience, one of many factions that threaten the people of this territory. The railroads where outlaws prey upon the cargo and passenger trains. Manzanita Post where a hunter can settle down and resupply or sell his furs. Blackwater, a city of civilization where law is abundant and politics are ripe. The Pacific Union Railroad Camp, a locomotive construction hub base, expansive and deceitful.

Your Role

You are here for a reason, an outlaw with your gang. An Indian fighting with his kin against the Pacific Railroad Company that's burning down their settlements. A worker or employee of the railroads. A law man looking to oppose the crime of the territory. A hunter in the Tall Trees or of the Plains. A politician, or store owner at the city of Blackwater. You're given free reign over your character.
One thing is for certain, your paths will cross and violence will engulf the territory.

Clear Factions

Law Men:
These men or women and women are employed by the U.S. or local government to put a stop to the lawlessness of the territory as it becomes unbearable. Most common in the territory are U.S. Marshall's based out of the city of Blackwater, which is the seat of the State's government. Most turn a blind eye to the Pacific Railroad Company, focusing on the protection of trains and the killing of hostile Indians that stray to far from The Tall Trees.

Native Americans:
The Native American settlements were burned down by employees of the Pacific Railroad Company and their populations were pushed into the Tall Trees where they settled in fortresses set against the mountain made of wood logs. Most of the men with a resentful hate resort to becoming a gang of criminals all their own, they've become a clear threat to the territory.

Outlaws:
This faction of rag tag individuals is just that, usually collected in uneasy gangs of criminals with the main focus of attacking the trains and profiting from their ventures. Some are renown for their cruelty or skills, and some more well-known stray from the packs to try their hands at robbing people on the roads using their name to inflict fear.

Pacific Railroad Company:
A rich company that constructs locomotives and the railroads, they're vastly powerful and work outside of the law. Thugs are commonly hired for the dirty work, used to burn down settlements and protect the company's business ventures. Their influence keeps the law from acting against their, questionable, exploits, and keeps the Native Americans angry and hostile.

Rules:
To keep the group together, everyone will be required to stay in the designated territory unless perhaps a group of you convince me that a trip out of the territory is necessary. That being said, it is required that players do what they can to run into one another regularly. This can be orchestrated through the ooc which should utilized and take full advantage of. What it's there for after all, right?

The time period is 1897 and all technology will be based in this era. Be as realistic as you can and study what you aren't sure of, nothing wrong with a little learning. There aren't enough people to kill twenty-eight men in every skirmish, and so I expect that you'll stay true to realism, there is no,

"He leaned out of the window shooting all ten advancing men in the head with his six shot revolver with immense skill and precision. He was a show of manly bad-assery."

And similarly, player versus player, no godmodding or autohitting. Your character can die, remember that.

This will be in third person past tense and it's expected of every one who joins to commit to it and do their best by originality and character complexities. Post as much as you can and as often as you can and we'll love you. Don't post for days on end without mentioning it to us in the ooc and we'll presume you're dead and be sore hearted.

Red Dead Grace

For now, I'm working on the character sheet and rules. I had it all typed out but something about my computer, didn't show up in the rules section.

Any questions or suggestions, ask and I'll supply what I can.
