Despite her appearance, Dahlia is actually a rather shy and girl at first. As she learns to open up to others, she's a lot more outgoing. She doesn't care what others think, but has troubles making new friends because she's a bit of an introvert. She's loyal until the end and sticks with what friends she does have through thick and thin. She always finds herself deep and thought, and people have found it difficult to get on her nerves. When she does get irritated though, her anger is like a short burst of fire that burns for a few minutes until she manages to regain composure. She cares for her friends and usually neglects her own happiness because she tends to put the happiness of others first.

She always carries a pocket knife and her iPod with her at all times.

Her father passed away when she was sixteen in a tragic car accident on his way home from work, which changed her world for her almost completely. She continues to live with her mother, who she loves with all of her heart but has grown apart from since her father's death. Since she has lost her father, she has started to see things that would make others consider her crazy. Even her mother doesn't believe that her daughter is starting to see the strange visions of winged beings, and at first Dahlia could not even convince herself that what she was seeing was a reality.
