Introduction

Everyone has done regrettable things, some things being worse than others, some things being... unforgivable. Now, whether you see your crime every time you close your eyes or you sit back and reminisce about that time you killed a family of four, those regrettable things will stay with you for the rest of your life and beyond. They say eternal torture awaits those with regrettable pasts. It's said there's no such thing as second chances in this world-- even if you do regret it, once you've done something terrible, your path is set. Redemption is nonexistent.
But there's an old legend sinners speak of-- It tells of a cavern that appears wherever it is needed, luring in evil-doers as they're taking their final breath. They'll wander into the cavern for whatever reason and come across a spiral staircase. They will fall down the staircase, death finally taking them. However, instead of falling into the afterlife, they will fall into a different world. They will open their eyes and will be offered a chance at redemption. If they manage to redeem themselves, they will be given a second chance at life and be cleansed of their sins, guaranteeing a peaceful afterlife. If they do not redeem themselves, they will face an afterlife a thousand times worse than the one they faced before.
Here we have three sinners and a dying world. At similar times, these three's times were up. The cavern appeared before them and they wandered in for their own, personal reason, fell down the spiral staircase and into the dying world. When they woke up they would soon learn that this world was freezing over, slowly killing all who inhabited it and the planet itself. They'd discover they were gifted with powers that could help save the world.... or help themselves get back to their own world. They'd have a choice--save themselves or save an entire world, perhaps sacrificing their own life in the process. One choice would result in redemption, the other in damnation.
This is the story of what they decide.

Hello everyone, and thank you for reading this far! As said above, this roleplay follows the sinners as they're working toward redemption, or perhaps stopping others from getting it-- it depends on the characters we get. We'll start with 3 sinners and 3 people from the kingdom they end up in so we can have influences from the world. If more people are interested I'll be happy to add more roles! Also, I ask that you try to balance the girl/boy ratio and try to make all of the characters unique. We can get very creative with this setup and I wanna see what we come up with! Anime face claims only, please. <3

Re: Regrettable Things
Since we've been waiting so long, we could start the roleplay and have them jump in later. I'm sure they wouldn't mind, and it'd be very easy to work in. Would you guys want to do that? We have enough to start.
Re: Regrettable Things
I should finish my character by tonight or tomorrow; I only have a bit left to do.
I can't wait to start~!
Re: Regrettable Things
@SkyCladSaya06
It could be either former sinner or long-time resident-- it's up to you, really. As to what it's like, It's a somewhat old-timey town with a castle and horse-drawn carriages, that sort of thing. If the character had been living there for a while, they'd have a life normal for anyone living in old Europe... i-if that's not too vague. You could go with orphan, son of a shoe polisher, etc....
Re: Regrettable Things
- Are the Kingdom characters past sinners of sorts? Or were they already there before?
- If it's the latter, what kind of life would they have lived since? What does the place look like?
Thinking of reserving the Mercenary. Face Claim would be either Kushia Microphylla or Zinnia Silane
And here's my funny GIF. To be honest, something like this actually happened to me when I tried doing the same thing. In my defense, I was six. XD

Re: Regrettable Things
It's the best result I've gotten after some hours of combing Zerochan. It's some guy who's name I don't know uploaded by a fellow called ShintaroLikesMemes. If you recognize the character you know more about it than I do. Hopefully this is an acceptable faceclaim, all lack of info aside.
Re: Regrettable Things
Oh gosh, I completely forgot about a character sheet. My apologies! If I had a beautifully decorated one to give out I'd give it out, but I'm afraid I don't, so I'm probably going to throw out a few things you'll need on it and let you guys get creative. Is that alright?
Speaking of, so long as your character sheet is nice looking and has these things, it should be fine!
Name
Age
Power if sinner (try not to get overpowered, please! <3)
Sin if sinnner
Physical Appearence (at least one paragraph!)
Likes
Dislikes
Personality (at least two paragraphs!)
Backstory (at least two paragraphs! Don't forget to mention their sins if they're a sinner.)
I'll add this to the main page as well so any newcomers can see. So sorry for the inconvenience!

And a bonus. My dogs meeting Santa.

Re: Regrettable Things
That's completely fine! Though if you wouldn't mind telling me when you do find one, that'd be aweeesome~ I like to see people pick a face claim beforehand so they show some kind of commitment, but it seems like you're already pretty serious about this so I'll let it slide! <3 :33
