w e i g h t x // x130 lbs
h a i r x // xHer most noticeable and striking feature is her hair. Like her mother’s Westerly has long thick raven locks with a gentle natural wave that reaches down nearly to the small of her back.
e y e s x // xSimilar to her siblings, Westerly has rich brown eyes. But unlike her brothers’ who have darker eyes, her own are a light brown that appear almost golden in warmth and brightness.
o d d i t i e s x // xMuch of Westerly’s life for the past 10 years has been behind the castle’s walls, in doing so she isn’t quite covered in scars like her brothers. And even the scars she gained at a younger age along with them have long since faded away. Beyond that, she has a light birth mark unbeknownst to most aside from herself. It is shaped like a lily, no bigger than the side of a coin, resting upon her ribs just below her left breast.
a p p e a r a n c e x // xA natural beauty, Westerly never had to try with extravagant dresses or excessive makeup to make herself appealing to others. Although she is unlike her mother in almost every way, she inherited her stunning and ethnic beauty. But instead of rich tan skin, she instead has porcelain ivory skin like her father. Wes is on the shorter side, but carries herself in a way where one wouldn’t know any different unless they were standing beside her. She has a slender yet hourglass shaped frame. And although she has the grace of a poised Princess, she has a tendency to be a bit clumsy when dressed in elaborate dresses and extravagantly complicated shoes.

Although she may seem like the type of young woman too gentle to stand up for herself, but Westerly has fire hidden beneath her delicate nature. It often surfaces around her siblings, where she can truly be herself. But, in the defense of herself and her honor, Wes can stand her ground to everyone… but her mother. She may be a rose, but this Princess still comes with her thorns.
Being a Princess though, Wes cannot be as open and free no matter how much she’d like herself to soar. After what happened to her in the past, she’s had no choice but to block herself off from others. Part of her knows that after everything that transpired, her mother will keep happiness from her grasp. As if to make it easier, Westerly has shut herself off from others beside her brothers and father, the only people that cannot be kept from her.
Because of Westerly’s growing separation from the world outside of the keep, she has increasingly grown lost from the woman she is. Her time is spent with lessons she loathes, learning to be exactly like her mother who seeks to keep Wes caged from the world. She keeps herself locked away, day by day pieces slip away. Glimmers can shine threw in her eyes but Westerly is vanishing in the world of court, lost within her mother’s wishes and herself.

Whenever she could not be found in the castle, Westerly was always in the stables to riding through the woods. As she grew older, she explored farther and farther from the Keep. By the time she was 15 her explorations and wanderlust took her into neighboring villages where she began to spend time with her fellow subjects. The more time she spent in these villages, the closer she grew to a young farmer, William. Maybe it was puppy love or maybe it was true love, but there was not enough time for either of them to discover it.
Westerly knew that a bond with someone of such low birth would be forbidden, and in her haste, they decided they were going to run away and elope. But then the night before the Queen confronted her when she found out the truth from servants. When Westerly refused to call it off, the Queen sent men to William’s farm the next morning and had him slaughtered where he stood.
Since that day, Queen Visenya has kept a close grasp on Westerly, never letting her leave the grounds and rarely even castle itself. She’d be taught all the proper lessons a Princess should know and would become the pristine young woman her mother expected of her. Over the decade that passed, many began to forget about the Princess. Whispers of her never even existing, running away from the keep or even dying in some tragedy spread across the land while she lived like a prisoner in her own home.
When the King and Queen finally made the decision to invite the nobles from the different holds to come to the keep, Westerly was not originally part of the agreement. Visenya would rather keep her hidden and continue to groom her to marry a royal from across seas. But Declan and Desmond both refused to marry nor partake unless she too was included and had the opportunity to find love. So, the first time in nearly a decade, Westerly will be in the presence of those whom are not her family and servants.
