Personality: Creative and sweet is how most people find Ali. Yet those that know her best find her delusional, consumed by her appearance and social status. No doubt is she creative and sweet however at the same time she manages to be vain. She is not very popular yet she is constantly obsessed with her social status within her group of friends, making sure that none of them gossip about her and are totally loyal to her despite the fact that she is not totally loyal to them. As well as this, Ali is an extremely imaginative girl. However, one she reached middle school she learned imaginary games were for "little kids" so she hid her imaginations behind the stories and songs she typed up on the typewriter her grandfather gave her. That is the only piece of technology she can handle, as she finds televisions distracting and computers nerdy. Ali is quite the flirtatious girl and has held a few boyfriends in the past, but none of the relationships lasted long. She is very polite, especially to strangers, and is charismatic and intelligent as well.
Childhood/History:Ali was not always vain. She was once raised by a loving grandfather for the first ten years of her life. He taught her that her to love herself for who she was. Back then she was more of a tomboy, into basketball and soccer rather than dolls and makeup. One day, her grandfather's health started failing and Ali's mother, who had been absent from her whole life thus far, picked her up and drove her to a far away town where she had to make new friends. Her mother verbally abused her, calling her ugly and stupid. Ali soon grew into her mother's ways and became obsessed with her appearance and academics. She didn't even realize how negatively this impacted her life, claiming that her mother taught her the importance of beauty and grades. Good things did come from her mother however. It was at Ali's mother's house that she developed her imagination and creativity, which Ali credits as the most important part of her life.
Apparent Desire(s): To be beautiful, have a completely loyal group of friends, and to perform well at school.
Hidden Desire(s): For someone who she is very close to to recognize and appreciate her for something other than her appearance and academics, specifically her mother.
