Remorseless Evolution

Remorseless Evolution

0 INK

Evolution has caused humanity to branch off into two separate races, the Neco and the Sapiens. Many years ago a war occurred to try and eliminate the weaker race but they still walk to earth today. Many now think it is time for a revolution.

Introduction

We gladiate, but I guess we're really fighting ourselves.

Roughing up our minds so we're ready when the kill time comes.

Glory and gore go hand in hand. That's why we're making headlines!

Image

Homosapien.
Noun
Definition: An weaker ancestor of the human being. The hominid have little intelligence, power, or skill in anything and are now viewed as lower class citizens. They are restricted from contact with Neco kind and now live in small collections under strict control by the government which usually are plagued by poverty and disorder. Any signs or corruption or rebellion will result in execution.
Life expectancy: 80 years
Status: Before it was thought the species had more or less become extinct but new data and information is displaying that Homosapiens are still around in decent sized numbers, many not under government control.

Homoneco.
Noun
Definition: A modern day human. Most Necos are ever powerful, immune to every known disease, and have pure bodily perfection. They are the optimum of the human race. So far they have advanced technology, weaponry, and nutrition in food. Necos are able to push their body over the limit with extreme physical strength, intelligence, determination; the Sapiens lack this. City's and civilization is quickly being rebuilt after the war and society is repairing though many areas elsewhere are still left empty, dead and baron. Disagreements over the "solution" to the war means violence is still common as many protest either for or against Sapiens rights. Stray Sapeins often attack small villages sparking up small battles and spars. Despite a Neco's strength they are still killable and well thought out plans and large numbers have meant a good handful of victories for the weaker race.
Life expectancy: 134 years.
Status: The population is quickly increasing to the number that is was before the war.

After the war.

A war that began and ended many years ago still does not prove as a solution to differences between the two species that still walk the planet. Sapiens and Necos do not differ in many ways what so ever apart from Necos appearing to be a improved version of the human race, though additional flaws have been identified. Generally the new species has been observed to be more stoic and lacking the more 'unnecessary' and humanoid emotions. They act upon logic but many tend to be unable to see the more ethical sides of situations. Moral behavior may be seen differently to both races.

The war began to try and eliminate the Sapiens as they were seen as stunting humanities development. Many were persuaded by the idea of natural selection but it did not take long for the plan to completely backfire on them. A good handful of merciful Neco's were against this but those with more power confirmed the assault but under estimated what they were up against. Many lives were lost and now only about a 1/5th of the worlds population 10 years ago survived. As written above in the race descriptions recently the Neco's have stopped the violence and began scooping up the Sapiens like livestock, though it is clear there will soon be a uprising.

It's not clear who is fighting who anymore either. Many Neco's and Sapiens live together in peace on the outskirts of the world, but in other areas revenge and hatred spurs violence. The world is full of disorder.

Rules and other things.

★This RP is quite literate. I expect people to reply often and with about 300 words minimum per post.
★This RP is also quite mature with lots of violence and touchy subjects. It has implied racism and I also expect some characters will use foul language and have some suggestive scenes. If you can't deal with it I don't think this RP is for you.
★Characters are welcome to be offensive but in OOC please don't contuine it.
★Feel free to message me with any questions or ideas. You can also add me on skype at strawberrysweet98.
★Sexual scenes may be implied but not described. I don't think its the best idea to do a full description here, so just leave it brief or do a kind of time skip. If you want to RP like that do the kinky stuff in PM if they agree to it.
★For gods sake don't godmod. I know Necos are generally stronger but they are not indestructible.
★I suggest having no more than two characters but the max is 3.
★Please have fun c:

Ember Wolfe

Ember was at a total loss. Ace was now crying, and something about seeing a fully grown man cry made her heart grow heavy. She didn't know why he was crying but she wanted to at least attempt to comfort him, but- Danger. Her senses picked up Jennifer's... emotions that were appearing to spiral out of control. Ember moved quickly, efficiently and confident, she grabbed Ace's shoulder and yanked him away from Jennifer. "Ace!" A feeling welled up, and Ember was inserting herself between the stranger and Ace, not quite turning her back on either.

That's when Jennifer spoke up. "Please," she was able to choke, "I don't--please don't kill me. I don't want to die." Ember glared at the woman. "I don't want to die. I'll run away. Far away, I'll never come back, please." She didn't say anything. "I don't want to die." Once the woman had started talking, Ember had done nothing, but shut up emotions. The same emotions telling her to kill this woman for threatening someone she... knew. But, Ace clearly cares for. A feeling of frustration at the sudden appearance of restraint bloomed inside her. Yet, another part, something deep and primal, was telling her to kill the weaker woman. To put her out of her misery. She's weak prey. She's in pain. She's needs to be put down. It would be so easy.

Ember's fingers twitched, as if going for a knife. She almost did go for her knife, but a thought stopped her. I can't. If I kill her, Ace will hate me for as long as he lives. Her soldier's instinct was rebelling, and asked her something she was dumbfounded by. And why do you care about his opinions?

Instead of going for a weapon and slitting this woman's neck, Ember turned and put a hand on Ace's shoulder. "Ace," she forced him to look her in the eye, using her master self-control to say this with no feeling, "Stop crying and lead us to your cabin." Her words were clear, and not quite soft, but gentle and commanding. Ace obviously wasn't in the best position to make good and safe judgements and Jennifer looked... like a lost lamb. Ember gently pushed Ace forward. She then turned to Jennifer, her face stony, "I won't kill you, but please just follow us. You'll have a place to sleep and of course, the dog will be there, too." She motioned to the dog then turned and began to walk in the direction of Ace's cabin.

Owsla Hall

Owsla watched the three from the trees, melting back into view as she clicked in response to the situation. She tilted her head to the side, as she bounded around the group on all fours. The suit forced her onto all fours, looking more like a hybrid between a deer, feline and human and made her footsteps sound like nothing was even there at all. But the constant electronic noises and clicking made it sound otherwise.

It sounded like she was asking questions among all this noise, bounding and bouncing off trees along the way as she followed her new found group.

Oreron Hall

Oreron watched as the majority of the group left to find out the source of the noise as he stayed put. If anything his own tiredness and unwillingness to move made him stay. That and the fact that most and Owsla's gear was still there. He yawned deciding to pack up the camp while he still could and put away most of the cooked meat. He stood, beginning to stuff all kinds of pots, knives and weapons away in one of their duffel bags when he heard something himself.

A snap of a twig under steel toed boots.

His head perked up in a way all too familiar too him. His eyes moved first before his head, spying a lone male with a weapon lying in wait. Instinct welled in him as a loud snarl escaped his lips. He could feel the man's fear, he could see it in his eyes. A tense standoff between him and this intruder. "You have one second to run. Or I will gut you." He said in a deathly low tone. The man screamed before attempting to run, but it was no use as the large neco crashed down upon him like a rabid animal. The man was dressed in attire that suggested that he had lived off of claiming the life of others. A belt made of hair and the stains of blood on his clothing. Human and Neco blood.

This didn't just make him angry.

It made him hungry.

Hungry for blood.

The whites of Oreron's eyes shifted to black as he tore into the man, his screams and Oreron's roars echoing into the surrounding forest until a loud -CRUNCH- sound was heard.

Oreron had bitten into the man's spine. He was dead in an instant. Still he bit into the man, tearing out chunks of flesh and bone as if he were; no he was feasting on the body of this man. Other men fled from their hiding spots, but not to attack the man, but to run away. Far away.

Oreron did not chase these men, though he did stop finally after watching them. He said nothing as he picked the man clean of useful items and wandered back to camp. He was covered in the man's blood. His mouth and hands coated in it, but it didn't seem to faze him at all. He breathed heavily, trying to calm himself and return to his normal self. He knew this would take a while , the the coolness of the night sky was a help as he looked up at the moon. 'Nothing will take Owslanna away from me Kathleen. May you rest well in the afterlife.'

It was him. The boy from her memory. She saw his golden hair; the same hair that she herself had. She saw his face, both beautiful and giving off the appearance of a noble individual. The same as her. The one who she remembered to be someone she cared for. Only meeting for a short while, his visage never left her field of vision, as if a dancer at the edge of her vision, constantly reminding her of what had occurred.

Perhaps it was fate? No, Quinn had learned long ago that fate is not so convenient or forgiving.

Perhaps it was luck? No, Quinn had learned long ago that luck is not so obvious and prevalent.

Maybe it was simply an encounter? Yes, these sorts of things occur all the time. This was simply something that would occur no matter the means. It was a destined encounter. After all…

“Will we meet again?”

She remembered her childish words. Of course, at the time, they may not have meant much to either of Quinn or William, but perhaps this phrase was the catalyst to this reunion. Quinn did not believe in these sorts of mysticisms, but there was always the off-chance that these sorts of mechanisms existed within the world. Rationalism, however, was a feat superior to that of mysticisms. These supposed “strings of fate” were merely coincidences. After all, there was no rational proof behind these sorts of claims. Simply, these two were after a similar "prize", and therefore their paths would intertwine eventually. Nothing more, nothing less.

Ahh…

She continue to see it, despite this man being before her. A simple thing, really. An obstruction that Quinn tended to prefer not to notice. A scar on her inner mind, brought forward by her desires to press forward. However, this was something that she could not see. This was something that if she had seen, her entire mind would have shattered long ago.

Memories.

Don't look at it.

Memories.

Terror in the face of many.

Memories.

Why?

She could not allow the other to notice that something was wrong. She was someone who cared not for the past and was someone who looked towards the future. But, she did need to press forward. And to press forward she would need to utilize her experiences in order to provide the world with a future forged in light.

“…Is that really you, William?”

One of the few familiar faces that Quinn could continue to see. A visage that would simply never leave. A person that promised to meet against with herself. That was what this “William Abrams” was to Quinn.

“I would have never expected to see you in such a manner. Sorry for my “performance” earlier. It was probably something you would prefer not to see from a lady like myself.”

It was rather unbecoming of a lady to act like such a beast. Such was meant to be left to the army and those who desired to fight. It was not as if Quinn did not enjoy the battlefield, but it was rather unbecoming of a lady from a high house. If her father had seen such actions by his younger daughter, he would have most likely scolded her for these actions. After all, public image was important to a person of power. It was not as if she was really a “person of power”; a “modern day aristocrat”, at least, anymore.

“However, I will have you know that these people did try and fight me, simply because of my “simple” appearance, I suppose.”

Well, “simple” is one way to describe “short”, one could say.

“Anyway, I would love to speak with you more, but it appears that dusk is almost upon us. I would say we should look for shelter for the time being. I would prefer not to transverse these wastes in the dead of night even in the event that I am beside someone as powerful and educated as you.”

Though Quinn did not believe many could defeat her own Darius, and together with the “Alexander” from their past together, Quinn was in a state of disbelief that any sort of ragtag gang could truly defeat this duo. Despite this, the night held new-found dangers in the form of insects, parasites and even monsters no man would hope to be able to defeat. And with this in mind, Quinn figured that if they were to be within the same vicinity on one another, Questions that Quinn had upon her own mind for a while now could be answered.

“Would you care to accompany for the time being , William?”

She had to remain strong. She loved this man, but to press forward she would need to display a “coat” of sorts. One that would prevent others from understanding her true intent. After all, that event years ago had caused Quinn to become a broken person. A person without cause, placed the mind simply within a gauze of past. But Quinn was strong. Quinn could break this gauze, this self-contain boundary by herself. She could not simply think of the past, but to press forward towards a brighter tomorrow.

Ace Tyrant

"Ace!"

A hand clasped his shoulder quite tightly causing him to be tugged backwards somewhat, though after regaining his balance he quickly moved back into his usual posture. The blonde glanced over his shoulder at Ember's expression but could not quite read what it exactly meant. She stepped between the pair, seeming defensive to him which normally would have pleased him greatly, but at this point enraged him. "STOP. What are you doing? E..Ember!?!" Ace pleaded, pushing past her so he could keep the raven haired woman in sight, though his companion still seemed as instinct driven as usual.

Ace's heart more or less shattered on the spot as Jennifer reached for the dog instead of him. She did not seem to even recognize his face, and being honest he barely could identify her. Where was this muscled feminine figure? Where was the cold instinct shining in her eyes? Where was the soft words of "Hello again Blondie..."? Instead of all that she was stumbling around like the elk he had clumsily shot earlier. It hurt. It probably hurt more than thinking she was dead.

"Please,"
"I don't--please don't kill me. I don't want to die."
"I don't want to die. I'll run away. Far away, I'll never come back, please."
"I don't want to die."

"JENN FOR FUCKS SAKE WHERE IS YOUR GUN?" Ace bellowed, tears now dripping from his cheeks at quite a speed. It was odd for the man to so much as raise his voice, let alone swear with such little thought. His emotions were clearly somewhere around manic depression. He did not understand. Was this even his Jenn? He was pretty sure he could not love the woman sat in front of him now, he could only pity her. "Jenn...Jenn It's Ace. Do you really think I would hurt you." He said, his words still rambling but tone somewhat softer, though this was quite forced. "I owe you after all. Remember?"

"Stop crying and lead us to your cabin."
"I won't kill you, but please just follow us. You'll have a place to sleep and of course, the dog will be there, too."

To be honest he needed to hear those words. He needed some support and instruction, and even though Ember lacked the emotional side of it she definitely started helping with the basics. "O..okay." He whispered before getting to his feet, dusting his muddy knees and clicking his fingers gently so that Champ would trot along very closely to Jennifer as he seemed to be her only sign of comfort. "Please come with us. You don't want to be out at night." He explained, now rather monotone though his eyes remained glassy. The German Shep's fur lightly dusted against her calves as he kept up with the pace of walking.

Ace once again glanced over his shoulder at Owsla, now clothed in a rather intimidating but wonderful suit. It was more astectically pleasing than her Father's atleast; it lacked the creepy grin that sometimes had often crept into nightmares. He waved his hand briefly telling her to follow at the back of the group, before pausing. "Owsla are you and your Dad staying with us tonight too? Has he headed somewhere else." He questioned in the same, unpleasant and foreign sounding monotone voice.

Ember and Ace walked ahead of the pack at a brisk pace towards his cabin. Every few seconds or so Ace would let out a pitiful sounding sob as well as dripping a few teardrops into the grass. It was pathetic really. It was just such a huge shock and a lot to take in to a simple man like himself. Slowly he found himself edging towards the girl until he placed a hand upon her arm and looked up at Ember with the most desperate expression. "Help me. I..Is it even her? I don't understand..surely..." He mumbled, mostly to himself rather than the Neco.

Dog, dog, dog, dog, Jennifer's mind rambled blankly, and she kept her focus on the canine, letting her feet follow the others. She didn't want to think about anything else. She didn't want to think about being yelled at, his crying, his pain...she didn't want to think about him at all. She just wanted to keep the pain away. "Do you really think I could hurt you?" he'd said. Yes. Yes she did. Because anyone could hurt a rabbit.

JENN FOR FUCK'S SAKE WHERE IS YOUR GUN? The thought made her flinch. She didn't care where the damn thing was, she hated it. When she held that gun, she felt awful things. She didn't want those things. She didn't want to know what it felt like to have killed people, but she did. Somewhere in her mind, she knew she did. When she held that gun, when the frozen metal bit her palm, she could feel how easy it had been for her to kill without blinking.

"The Jennifer you were was a murderer," the men told her, "you killed everyone who ever loved you, looking for one girl that never mattered. You murdered James. You murdered innocents. You murdered animals. And those you left behind couldn't love you anymore because of what you had done. You were alone, and unloved. You were an animal that needed to be put down." She was sobbing, on the floor of the metal room, crying and screaming while they tried to force the memories out of her head. "But you're not that Jennifer anymore. You're a different one, now. You're the Jennifer that James loved, and the one that James wanted you to always be. You're the right one, now, aren't you?"

Yes. She was fixed now. She wasn't a killer anymore. And because of that, she was meant to be happier, wasn't she? No more memories of killing, no more pressure to survive. No more. She could live without the stresses of her previous life. And that was what she wanted, wasn't it? Yes, of course it was. She was a different Jennifer now. And this Jennifer didn't need to have a gun, or be a fighter. So she allowed the others to lead her, keeping her eyes on the dog, wishing away the pain and any memories that could come.

June King

"You are going to end up killing yourself with all this smoking and drink. I mean fair enough a little pleasure is good for the soul but...June you do take a awful lot. You are meant to be a assassin as well surely you would try and keep your body in good condition. I'm not going to lie it kind of worries me."

June looked at his cigarette and then at the girl from the corner of his eyes. It wasn't like he really cared that they were bad for him, in fact, he figured that if he smoked more and drank a whole lot he wouldn't have to live longer than he wanted to. However, seeing as she seemed generally worried, he figured at least while she was around he wouldn't smoke as much. That and he didn't feel like smoking anymore. Flicking the smoke stick he looked at his rum and picked it up. "Well, I can't quite drinking at least. I need the break from sobriety. Though you really shouldn't worry," he said. "It's not like it effects me much anyway." Taking another sip and bringing up the confinement, he would have laughed if not for the fear of chocking on his alcohol at her reaction. It wasn't as comical as it was expected. After all most people reacted in that way.

"I have nightmares a lot that are basically repeats of what had happened in my life time."

Akira's words made June set his bottle down to actually think about what she just said. In truth he was more curious than anything. Curious about her past. In fact, the more he spoke with her, the more he wanted to know about her past. Though, he could understand if she didn't want to talk about it. He didn't like talking about his life that much either. On the contrary, he'd rather forget his past instead of bringing it up in conversation.

"So I don't tend to sleep well either. I don't like going to sleep."

June placed his hands of the arms of the chair and pushed himself up after she sat next to him. "I'll be back," he said in his usual low tone and entered the room. Rummaging through the fridge once more, he took some water and looked in the cabinet for some packets. Mixing all of it together he put the mix into the microwave and once it was done, he came outside with a mug of hot liquid. "Here," he said, handing it to her. "It's not anything that'll give me advantage over you. Had a woman say that to me one time I offered her a drink. Anyway, it's a special type of tea. Doesn't really make you that sleepy, but on the box it says it'll give you good dreams."

Handing her the mug he sat down and continued drinking his own means to sleep at night, though there wasn't much left and when he searched for more he realized he finished off all six bottles. He would have asked if he could have the complementary liquor from Akira's fridge, but decided to hold his tongue, figuring that she wouldn't be pleased if he consumed anymore. He sat in silence for a while looking towards the stars in the sky. Though in his mind there was a lingering feeling that was bothering him.

"You know, on a night as beautiful as this one, i was thrown into darkness for many years. In that time, I wanted nothing more than to see the beauty of the sky at night. Instead, while I was in my own hole, I was only able to see the true ruthlessness of the world that is hidden from so many people. It's times like this when I remember the person I was before that darkness. I also look back on the type of person I was while in the dark and also reflect on how both those versions of myself created the me that you see right now. Heh. It's kind of funny if you think about it. These marks on my body are reminders enough of my past, but the moon makes it all seem like it was meant to happen instead of a curse. Reminds me what I need to do with my life before anything else."

Halting his speech he wondered if he should have kept on going. He had never told anyone his past, including Cortez, who was the closest thing to family he had left. However, he knew that it was only fair that he shared something about himself before asking Akira about hers. "When I was seventeen, I had already killed four or five people. Though it wasn't until I was that age that killing wasn't just a means of defending myself. It became something more and, at the same time, something less. It was only my second year in that place and so far I was already done with the reformation year and serving a solitary sentence. However, there was still times where we would all group together to bathe. I was on a solitary sentence just for a year. A way to get my head back in order after the torturous first year. However, the other members in the block were more of lifetime members to the lonely club. They weren't allowed to see another person unless it was time to bathe their bodies. It would be that way for them until they died. I felt sorry for those men. Sure they were probably charged with crimes more grotesque than anything I could ever do myself, but they were still humans. Neco or Sapien, it didn't matter to me. Though, what did matter was that they were humans and as such they should have at least been able to talk to someone. As for myself, I guess you could say I was a mute of sorts. The previous year really got to me. I tell you the government knows how to break people down." Closing his eyes in remeberence, he could feel the pain he went through coursing all over his body. It took him a while to swallow it all in, but afterwards he began speaking again. "One night, the lights went out and every cell opened. It was a mad house in a moment of seconds. I suppose it was a planned riot. Whatever it was, it wasn't something I would recommend looking at. People of all races were turned into animals, attacking not only the cops but one another as well. If I remember correctly there was a kid, maybe a year or two younger than me who was tried as a terrorist. Apparently he had already caught a thousand bodies before his sentence. Sure it seems bad, but he seemed like a quiet nice kid on the outside at least. Maybe he was actually sorry for the things he did. That's what probably made him stay in his cell. As for me, I was trying to stay out of trouble so that my sentence wouldn't be prolonged. He and I stayed in our rooms and for various reasons no one came into our rooms. Though, once I heard the screaming crys of help from his room, I had to leave my own. I wasn't going to just let a bunch of madmen prey on a child, even if he was a murderer. Once inside his room, I saw anther prisoner. Apparently his thing was killing children of any upbringing and he wanted to handle the boy until it was too late and he grew up. He had a knife in his hand and went for the kids throat, but I made it just in time. Long story short, I killed him to save the kid. I also killed anyone who was displeased by the mans death. After all was said and done, I was sent to another round of the reformation chambers for another six months and never saw the kid again. None of that bothers me though. What gets to me, even now when I kill, is that when I fight or kill, I feel nothing. At first I thought maybe it was because I was a bad person, but when I look up at the sky and reflect on my actions, I realize we are neither good or bad. No. We're just simply labeled those words based on the decisions we make. In truth, I try to tell myself that as long as I have my goal then no ones death under my hands are in vain. Not only that, but some people, like that Neco who I handled earlier deserve death. For their time on this planet is up the moment they bring chaos to the world."

Realizing he was going into a whole different topic than he intended, he stopped talking about it. "Anyway, what about you? I don't know if you noticed, but I've been watching you. From what I can determine, you don't have a home, nor family, though that's none of my business. Though.... I just can't get the feeling that I want to know more about your past, even if it isn't the best story to hear. Besides that, I feel a little bit better now that I shared a little bit of mine with you. In fact, this is the first time I've told anyone about that part of my life."

If it was going to make him feel better, he wouldn't mind sharing the major things in his life with someone. The memories that put him where he was at that moment. Though, he had a feeling that since he hadn't told anyone about it in the last six years, but her, that maybe she was special. Maybe she was someone he could open up to.

Owsla and Oreron Hall

Owsla's attention was directed toward Ace, who looked less than lively than she had ever seen him before. She rubbed up against his leg as if she were champ trying to cheer him up. She tilted her head to the side when he asked if she and Oreron were coming. She nodded and stopped in her tracks. A dull pinging noise started to sound off from her as well as a blinking blue light. Every few seconds, the sound and light would blip.

If wasn't long until the sound of a man being thrown aside also rang out through the forest close to them.

"DON'T HURT ME PLE-
-SNAP-

The sound of bone crunching under teeth disturbed the air around the woods as a large male's shadow started to form from the tree line. The shadow soon gave way to a sight that was more at home on a war zone than in a forest, but all to familiar to the green clad neco. He was not only carrying their things, but bloodied items that he had taken from the bodies of nearby bandits. His mouth and hands were coated with blood, but the same ping could be heard of him as well. He was breathing heavily, as if he had just come back from a hunt.

Though in essence, he had.

Owsla bounded around him, the same metallic noises coming from her. However he looked down at her as if she were understanding what she was saying. "I might as well." he said, his voice ragged as if he were slowly coming back to reality. He hiked the bag over his shoulder again, his head perking at the new addition to the group. A meek looking woman. If he was how he was back during the war, he would have ordered his men to take her somewhere out of the area. She was unarmed, unarmored. She was a walking target for bandits or muggers at this point. He sighed.

He hoisted her up into his arms and over his shoulder without a second thought. Owsla, looking more distraught at this sight, started bounding after him as if telling her father to put her down.

Ember Wolfe

Her movements were mechanical, and her face, emotionless. Her reason, for this detachment from her body was not because she was cutting herself off from her emotions, but because she was analyzing and categorizing her feelings about Ace. She had felt slightly betrayed when Ace had shouted at her frantically telling her to stop. Stop what, Ace? Stop protecting you from yourself? It had taken every ounce of discipline pounded into her to maintain her facade of indifference. To keep Ace from seeing that he had hurt her, and that she was confused and angry at him for being so... Caring, so full of emotion.

Ember was brought back from the recesses of her mind when she felt a pressure on her arm. Startled by the sudden physical contact, she felt her blood go cold at the touch and was about to say something about there being such a thing as personal space when... she saw his face... "Help me. I..Is it even her? I don't understand..surely..." He mumbled, more to himself then to her.

Ember felt some of his pain and.... The feeling was unwanted, and its mere presence made Ember angry at herself, and at Ace. She stared at his heart broken expression. Then again... She wanted to console him, maybe even off a shoulder, but then... To love is to destroy. She felt her hackles go up, her blood boiled at the sudden memory she would not share. No, I won't love Ace, I won't allow myself to. Never. She didn't notice when Oreron joined the trek, nor did she care. "Ace." His name slipped off her tongue, her tone holding hatred for herself and him, enough venom in it to kill a horse in only a few seconds.

Ember's hand flashed out, and a crack filled the air. She had slapped Ace, hard. "Get a hold of yourself." Instantly feeling guilty for slapping him, some of the indifference left her and there was a gentle look about her when she spoke again, "Acting like a whimpering child isn't going to fix things." A sudden expression of snarky humor flitted briefly across her face. "Or are you still the man-child from before?" She was intentionally trying to anger Ace, but if all she got was annoyance, so be it. An irritated person is better than a sobbing and heart broken person in her mind.

Akira Theron

"I'll be back,"

Akira gave a slow nod and allowed her eyes to follow after him as he left the balcony. The clattering noises and time he spent doing whatever he was doing made her curious. While she was waiting the black haired Sapien once again completed her annoying habit of drumming her fingernails on the table to a pleasant little rhythm. Whatever he had just made for her it sure did smell good. Akira smiled politely as she accepted the drink and peered over the rim at the odd liquid.

"Here," "It's not anything that'll give me advantage over you. Had a woman say that to me one time I offered her a drink. Anyway, it's a special type of tea. Doesn't really make you that sleepy, but on the box it says it'll give you good dreams."

A seductive little smirk grew on her lips as he mentioned this. "You don't have to take advantage... You just have to ask me handsome." Akira purred with a sharp wink before lifting the mug to her lips to try some. It tasted odd on her tongue, somewhat reminding her of a hot nighttime beverage but something tingled oddly on her tongue, either way it was pretty good tasting. "It is lovely. It's also quite kind of you to think of such a thing. Thank you."

Akira felt a lump grow in her throat as he began explaining his story. She just sat there in silence, but listened politely and curiously. Though it was becoming more and more apparent that maybe she did not want to know his past. Maybe it would be nicer to have him remain as this mystery man that had whizzed her off to a hotel and bought her drinks for the night rather than someone that would shed her emotions in half with a couple of words.

"As for myself, I guess you could say I was a mute of sorts. The previous year really got to me. I tell you the government knows how to break people down."

In his explanation that particular set of sentences stood out to Akira like a sore thumb. She could not help but have her pupils skim over June's abused and scarred body very briefly. Her stomach began twisting over and over with a horrible feeling and her mind began buzzing with ideas of what they could have possibly done to him in that time. His story was not a enjoyable one but it was interesting. Still Akira began viewing him in a much different way than before, maybe not in a more positive light either.

"Should I be scared of you?" The woman said simply, yet no fear remained in her voice. If he had killed so many people with so little thought behind it surely the answer would be yes. "When you get bored of me or I become annoying am I disposable?" Akira did not really know why she was asking such questions, but she was just simply curious of his answer. She also had one thing she needed to ask that irritated her more than anything. "Why did you kill your first victims? You must have had a pretty big reason. I don't think you are the kind of man to stereotype as a coldblooded murderer who went crazy for no reason one day. I'm sorry your life has been rough so far." She paused, her voice now falling into something less stern and more sympathetic, soft and kind. "You know June maybe instead of giving yourself to others as a assassin you should try living a simpler life and attempt to fix yourself. I don't think you are too happy doing what you do, even if it comes naturally."

Akira forced a random smile on her face which clearly was the cover up the hard lump growing in her throat. She knew this was coming, but who was she to deny him this information after all of that? The sapien woman was rather honoured to be the first to listen to his story and so felt that out of respect she would tell him, no matter how hard it was to get out. With a sharp intake of breath Akira began.

"You know they say that sapiens and necos are unable to live on the same planet in peace. Apparently we are to different to do so and equality between us is not possible." She told him sternly, pausing as memories began flooding back to her in a giant rush. "This is a lie. My small town held both races and we taught the children that though we both had our strengths and weaknesses we could work around this and everyone was to be respected equally. As far as I know our area was the place where we lived together in the best kind of way. My friends were necos and sapiens. Nobody ever said anything against either race. It was utter bliss. Pure and utter bliss." She explained with a honest glowing smile, though that chunk in her throat was slowly becoming more apparent. "However it seemed we were the only place that thought this way and once we heard rumours of a attack upon our town and neco evacuation we began planning our defence. We made our own private tiny military and even though we were low on our numbers for a large attack we actually were quite a impressive bunch. We managed to defend quite a few small attacks and scrape our way through. I'm not going to lie I was pretty skilled with a sniper rifle and got quite a good name for it. It was at this point I met a blonde haired boy named Asher."

Akira stopped for more than a few seconds, mostly to try and shut out the images in her mind. Whenever she thought of Asher now the only memory she could pull from her mind was the one where he was soaked in his own blood. "I instantly became obsessed with him. In some way he was my rival, as he himself earned quite a name too, though Asher never bragged about it like I did. He was the silent guy who actually got shit done rather than messing about like myself. It was not long before I found myself training with him and before long falling in love with him. After than we were rarely apart and made quite a team. You get the idea, I don't think you want to hear all the soppy shit that came along with it but I really did love him. A while later another attack came along and this time they were here to finish the job, and they did. We did not even have a prayer against that many necos. They slaughtered through us like fish in a barrel and I could not believe my eyes when I saw the necos of my town running towards them, pleading for them to save them and take them away from here. The bastards deserted us to save themselves. In the end I am pretty sure all of my friends and family had either been whisked away to some safe haven or pumped with lead. I hid behind Asher's body, feeling his chest rise and fall for the last time. I wish I died there with him."

Tears had began to spill from her emerald eyes again, though she just pretended like they were not there. Rather than sadness exploding onto her expression it was more pure boiling anger. Akira's fists clenched tighter as she met with Junes pupils. "Now I kill any neco who can not prove to me they are nothing to do with the war. I want to end this. I hate this world now. It is filled with scum. I try my best to remember the peace of my town but I realise now that the rest of the world is not like that. I like to think I am merciful and don't murder those who have done nothing to oppress us but I am pretty sure I have had some innocent blood on my hands. I just won't forgive them for what happened to the people I cherished most. I won't forgive them for tossing aside the idea of peace!"

She lay her head down upon the table, resting on her arms as she tried to force herself to stop crying, but the tears did not stop. Akira felt so angry and disgusted that her own story was even one of truth. "That is my past. You happy now?" She questioned, rather bitterly at that. Her eyes met with his as she wondered what June thought of all this information and how he now viewed her.

“Would you care to accompany for the time being , William?”

William remained silent as this woman, one of very very few individuals from his past that he could be bothered to remember, had engaged in conversation. This girl he had known so long ago had grown up, both in appearance and personality. She was fairly quick to apologize for what he would assume she thought was an 'unsightly moment' on her behalf, and she wasn't afraid to use a few compliments to get on his good side. He would have to say that he did not dislike how she had turned out so far. For now, he could see himself enjoying time spent with she, unlike the time he had unfortunately wasted with those other people, those barbaric beings.

He still needed a shower after that one hugged him. Disgusting.

"As great as I am, even I have yet to develop a way to make war aesthetically pleasing to the eye." he began, addressing her concerns about her beastly appearance just earlier. "I would have take more offense had you not been able to deal with them by yourself." William straightened his gaze and hardened his tone. He spoke the next words with a strong, audible voice so that there could be no misinterpretation.

"I would be disgusted if someone weak thought themselves worthy to be my rival or my bride."

However, immediately afterwards, he smiled, perhaps glad to see that this was not the case for someone who had supposed to have been his bride. "It would seem this is not the case, to which I am thankful. Therefore, I have no problem accompanying your for now, Quinn Bradley."

Had it been anyone else, he would most certainly have declined. Nobody else could evoke any sign of respect from someone so confident and arrogant and prideful as William, but she was different. At one point, this was not true. Maybe it was back when they'd met so long ago, he still considered her entirely beneath himself. Perhaps it was when he'd first heard of her, he thought of her as nothing more than another name. But it certainly wasn't that way after their encounter so long ago. Because after then, despite them never really seeing much of each other, she caused him trouble. Even someone as awesome as himself was unable to take it easy when it came to the Bradleys, entirely because of her. It was the only time he had ever been forced to actually put effort into competition. If he had not, then he would certainly lose, and because he could not take this woman easy, she commanded his respect to a greater degree than anyone, even his own parents, who despite being the miserable human-beings they were, had contributed to the weapons industry to a great degree before he had come along.

Again, she had to have been the closest thing to a childhood friend he had ever known, yet she was also his worst enemy. On top of that, she had also commanded respect from even he with her brilliance and ingenuity. And such beings were rare. I'm having really fucking bad writer's block, in case anyone was wondering. Sorry.

June King

"Why did you kill your first victims? You must have had a pretty big reason. I don't think you are the kind of man to stereotype as a coldblooded murderer who went crazy for no reason one day. I'm sorry your life has been rough so far."

Victims.... A rough life.... June had always wondered how he came off to most people. However, instead of saying considerate words like that, most would classify him as a monster. Only a few times in his life had he had people look at his life that way. He was used to the usual banter of hate and disdain from people, but he wasn't use to people looking at him with something he would classify as compassion. While it would probably make most people in his situation feel relieved. Feel human. He didn't feel that way at all. In fact, he hated it. He knew well enough the type of life he led. He almost had the nerve to walk away from the girl, pretend to go to bed, and leave her there going back on his own lonesome road. However, he couldn't. Not yet. He was too interested in hearing the woman's past than anything else. He thought that maybe, if he knew her past, then he could make sense of the way she thought. The words she said. The actions she took.

"You know June maybe instead of giving yourself to others as a assassin you should try living a simpler life and attempt to fix yourself. I don't think you are too happy doing what you do, even if it comes naturally."

Again with the compassion. Her and Cortez. If he had the right mind and it wouldn't have defected from his goal, he'd had left him too. Though, the man did have connections. Still, June made sure to keep his emotional distance. Something that he had realized was being shortened by him, just so he could just get to know a woman whom he just met today. It was dangerous. Not for only him, but also for her. Still, he stayed quiet until she went on to talk about her past. A past he could relate to in some way. It was too convenient how he would meet someone like that. Someone who also lost someone they cared about because of the difference between Neco's and Sapian's. His head began to become clouded as he too remembered how his life was changed around, moments at a time. Thinking about it, he did realize that she seemed to have something against Neco's in some type of way. Now he knew why. It angered him that the world was cruel enough to not only hit him, but a lot of the people around him. Even through the small fantasy and escape that he allowed himself to be in that night, he was reminded, yet again, why he did what he did. Why he couldn't take his own life yet, even though he wanted so badly to do it in the past. He could feel the past hate and anger welling up inside him. Anger, the feeling that he had tried to get rid of in order to focus on his cause. Glancing at Akira from time to time, he realized that she had began shedding tears and immediately regretted asking her such a personal question. It proved to him, that even though she had experienced in some way, similar things as he did, it had affected her differently. The tears on her face at the moment were his fault. His fault for letting his guard down once again and trying to get close to someone. Life was sure a bitch. No matter what way he did it. No matter how hard he tried. He could never get close to someone without hurting them a certain way. On top of that, he also couldn't stop himself from wanting to get close to someone. It was the way of man as they say. No man was an island. No one could live in solitude forever without trying to grasp another persons hand. It was like drowning. Not even June could drown in the ocean of his life without trying to connect with another person for air.

Listening to her words, he had imagined that she was seeing everything over again as she spoke. Something which June noted he'd probably do once he told her of his "first victims". She seemed to tire herself out by doing so. It appeared as if it wasn't her head that was lying on the table, pouring clear liquid, but her heart instead.

"That is my past. You happy now?"

June looked at her green eyes. Seemingly different in appearance than the first time he had met her. He could only guess that just like his past, not many people got to witness them in this way. June had made up his mind as to what he would do. Taking out a cigarette and burning it as it lay on the bridge of his mouth, he decided that after what she had told him, she deserved to hear the rest of his story. A folly of words that presumed might have been the last set of words he'd speak to her.

"I'm sorry about your love. I'm not going to sit here and act as if I know where you're coming from, but as you asked. I'll let you know what happened to those first set of people." June began by telling her the basis of everything that had to do with his past. How his father was a Neco and a heir to a lead industry that may have been one of the backbones behind the war. How his grandfather grew mad as his relationship with a Sapien woman, and even more angered at the fact that the offspring of a so called taboo relationship and the fact that the offspring wasn't on a level equal to that of a Neco. How his family was exiled and his father was made to travel back and forth between both worlds. Then he told her of his cousin, who had cut ties with the family just to get June and his younger cousin out of that world of hate. June went on about the promise that they'd be kings of a better, fairer world where no one was separated based on their DNA. His dad went missing and then his cousin took him to a place where they would think all three of them could be safe. Though of course, he noted, they were wrong. The man explained how everything caught up to them and just like a tidal wave, wrecked the mindless ship they were sailing. He didn't even leave out how he acted as a coward by running when asked to instead of fighting only to go back anyway to see his oldest cousin was murdered by the soldiers sent to get them. He counted his death as his fault, for not having the strength to stay and fight and though he did tell her that he ended up killing the men that were left over, he didn't tell her how he did so for being a kid. Though, he supposed she could guess. Already knowing that the information he had given her so far was enough to make her think more negatively about him, he continued.

After each cigarette was finished, June chased it with another one, making sure that as he told the tale he was always smoking. "So after that I was on my on. I went back home only to find out my mom was no longer there, but.... I could tell why she wasn't. Based on the state of the nice house we lived in. How it was battered. I could tell she was probably dead. After a few months there I went out to walk the world, trying to abandon my past. Sometime in that journey of mine, I met her. Her eyes shined with optimism and at first glance I suppose I could confuse yours for her own." She was the love of his life, he explained. Someone who made all the negative events of the past go away and also, someone who accepted his past. In both their eyes, even though there was no official document, they were both married at a time. Though, he also told her that because of him she died as well. In more ways than one was it his fault. His younger cousin came back for him because he left them and didn't come back in time to take him with him. That and he also blamed June for Kriste's, their older cousins death. So of course, he took it out on the one June was closest to. That's the second reason why her death was his fault. Without thinking, he invited the girl into his life and forgot about the past. The past which forgotten or not, she too was apart of. In the end he explained that he had to fight his younger cousin, not just out of anger, but out of defense. He told her how the scar on his face came from Deci, his cousin, and how he couldn't help but to let other wounds occur. For he never intended to kill Deci. He couldn't. Even if the boy killed the one person that saved him from ending his life years ago. June also noted that he didn't need to kill Deci with his own hands to end the boys life. True, Deci did take his own life, but it was only because of June that he did so. After that event, he was charged with the murder of Kriste, Deci, and the girl he loved. The verdict was six years in incarceration. Most of which, he spent getting more scars, both inside and out, and developing a hatred for the man who had put everything all together. Joseph King. The same man, who for whatever reason, made his sentence as lenient as it was for the amount of lives charged with it.

"You see now. Even if I should be living a simpler life. I can't. Not until that man is dead. Now that I've also heard your story, I know more than ever that I have to kill him. I thought, only if just for a moment. I thought that when I met you and hung around you, that maybe I could actually get to know you, put my past behind me and do as you said earlier,but..... After hearing about your past.....After sharing mine. I now know that I was a fool to think that. Deci's last words to me was that we were born to die. I use to think that was true, but now I know, that I can't die until I kill that man." Junes face scrunched up as he was trying to withhold his anger. He could feel the heat of it flowing inside his veins. He practiced the calm breathing technique Cortez had taught him to calm himself, but he just couldn't stand it. Standing and hanging his arms over the railing he continued trying to regain his composure. "I also realize that meeting you was probably a test of fate. Trying to get me to lure in another victim to my life. It was also a reminder of my goal in a way. Though I ......" before June could get out the rest of his sentence, his phone rang, causing him to pause and pick it up on reaction.

"Hello," he said in a mild pissed off tone.

"June. I'm glad you're still doing well."

"Who is this?"

"Hahaha. You seriously can't remember my voice. Ah well. You'll remember as the talk goes on. Listen boy, you will not speak anymore during this conversation got it. I know you have someone with you right now. Known since you met her. Pretty isn't she? She's a Sapien right? you know my men wont hesitate to kill her if she's with you."

June's eyes shot open as he looked around, seeing a truck parked outside the gas area about a half mile away. After seeing the mannerisms of those around the vehicle he could tell who he was speaking to.

"Is suppose you got it now. So listen carefully. I know you've been targeting people I work with. I'm not dumb you know. I can gather that you want my head. I accept your challenge June. Why wouldn't I? I mean, it's not everyday I get someone who is close to the same level as myself and my men gunning for me. Hmmhmm. Listen to this old man speak. Reminds me of my better days."

"Why you!!!" June yelled.

"What did I say boy!? If you continue to disobey my rules, I'll take another precious Sapien from you. Damn. You and your father. I can't understand how you two think. Equals you would call them. They are nothing more than animals. No, let me take that back. At least they have a title. You're the only animal here June. Anyway. As of now, they are waiting for you to come. If you beat them, then you're safe to hunt me for another day. However, if you die, then I've won the hunt. Sounds fun right?"

June hung up his phone and stormed inside his room grabbing his guns, ammunition and jacket. Once clothed he returned outside, readying himself to leap over the railing before turning to Akira. "I guess you were right. I would end up getting rid of you in the end. But, I wouldn't kill you. I'd never take a meaningless life even if you probably think otherwise. I'm sorry." With his hair covering his eyes it'd be hard for one to get a glimpse of his face. However, if the woman was to see his face, she would probably see the moon contrasting in the moonlight. June always wondered what his red eyes in true light would look like to someone, but he would never ask to find out.

Without another word, June leaped down from the railing to land only to run toward the truck with the armed men surrounding it. He didn't know or care how much of chance he had against them alone, but he did know that if he had to get through them to get to the old man, he'd take whatever chance he had to. Leaving the girl behind, June imagined that maybe one day, he might have been able to meet her again to apologize for leaving her alone and remembered her face. For once in a long time he felt a drop in his stomach that would have without a doubt caused him to shed tears if not for the current circumstance. Instead, he transferred it into his anger and hatred and moved on, deciding to use it as his strength instead of a weakness. Coming to terms with the situation, he realized that there was no chance in hell. No chance for the armed men to survive the night.

Ace Tyrant

Jennifer was incredibly silent and the only emotion she ever displayed was fear. Champ was the only one who she would so much as pull her eyes towards. The canine continued walking alongside her, his fur and her shins brushing against one and other gently. Now and again he dared a gentle lick on her palm for reassurance. The German Shep understood that clearly this was someone his master cared about and wanted protecting, and so he would do as he was told rather than messing about on the job like usual.

It was not long before Oreron and Owsla returned and by the stench of blood and newly acquired items, Ace had got the idea of what the general had been up to. He looked behind him and narrowed his shiny eyes as he scooped the black haired woman over his shoulder to speed up the groups walking pace. "Do you really think that is the best impression!?" He spat, whole body shaking as he thought about how terrified she would be about being grasped by a crimson soaked stranger. Not only that but Ace could not help but be somewhat jealous; it was likely that Jenn would need someone more like Oreron than someone like himself.

Though despite Ace's objections, it did cause the group to arrive at his sapien woodland cabin much quicker. It was in sight now, complete with the beautiful scenery, homely and neat appearance and blissful memories. Even though it was a awfully lonely place to live, Ace adored his house and over time had grown very fond of taking care of it and improving things there. Could it be that this place would trigger Jennifer's memories? The blonde turned around to make some cheery and jokey comment to Owsla, something following the lines of 'home sweet home eh?' but when he went to open his mouth he could not force out the words. His emotions had wrecked him.

"Ace."

Ember's expression quickly changed from that of confusion, to that of complete and utter rage. Just the singular glint in her eye sent his legs shaking violently. What had he done to upset her? He did not understand?

SLAP.

"Get a hold of yourself."
"Acting like a whimpering child isn't going to fix things."
"Or are you still the man-child from before?"

Ace found his face facing the ground and his hand clutching a bright red and stinging cheek. He had never been hit like that before. It certainly shocked him out of his mood but not really into a more positive one. As Ember began to speak he rose his face to meet with her gaze and listened carefully to what she was saying before finally deciding that though a slap was not the best course of action, it had worked somewhat. "I'm not a man chil-!"

Champ was furious and instantly sprang forward on his hind legs towards Ember swiftly, fangs bared and rough angry snarls escaping his jaws. It was somewhat hard to believe that this beast was the same dozing food-begging idiot as before. He had now transformed into a full blown mauling machine and his target was currently her arm. Nobody would attack Champ's master and get away with it, nobody at all. He knew that Ace was a neco that could not provide protection for himself, and so he would provide the protection instead.

(You are able to do what you like here with Ember. Please do not kill Champ though and if he does wound her it would be a deep bite or two in the arm which would not be all that dangerous to a normal neco.)

Ember Wolfe

"I'm not a man chil-!" Ember smirked at this, another insult on her lips when... Rough angry snarls made her flinch, a glazed look in her eyes, instincts commanding her to dive away from the enraged animal. Yet, she disobeyed her instincts and instead let them the animal go for her arm, her mind blank.

Teeth sunk into her forearm, and the pressure of the bite caused her Ember to come back to life. Her eyes became orbs of fire, burning brighter as she pulled her leg up, kneeing the animal in the chest. Air whooshed out of the animal's lungs and the soldier fell backwards with the animal atop her. She pulled something out of her pocket and rammed it into the dog's side. Its already loose jaws opened to let out out a yelping scream as it jumped away from the down Ember who held an object that looked a bit like a stun gun.

With the dog gone, Ember exhaled loudly and looked around at the others. Surprisingly, instead of jumping to her feet and shooting the dog or yelling at Ace for not being able to control his dog, she began to laugh. It was a slightly crazed laughter and she noticed as she began gasping, her hands crossing her chest as if trying hold back the laughter. "I'm-" laughter. Gasp. "-sorry-" laughter. She stopped trying to talk when she was able to stop laughing.

Ember looked up at Ace, a slaphappy look on her face. "I apologize for that." Then, like it was a normal occurrence, she lifted her arm over her head to look at the wound. Blood dribbled onto her cheek, but she ignored it as the bite had been a clean one, and there was no shredded flesh, so... A look of horror plastered itself to her face, as she put her finger through a newly torn hole in her leather sleeve of her jacket. "Dammit. I really liked this one, too." And with that, she sat up and held out a hand to Ace. "Its official, I'm a CAT person, now please pull me up before I turn your dog into a pair of boots."

Oreron and Owsla Hall

Oreron ignored the blond haired boy as they continued to make their way to was cabin. If anything he had a glazed look in his eye that clearly said that he wasn't in the mood for anything right now. If anything, this large neco needed some sleep after a week of being constantly on alert. If anything a shelter like this was a welcome sight. "You need to do better with your bobby traps in these woods, Ace. It's crawling with bandits at the moment." he said as he continued toward the cabin. Without a second thought, Oreron put the shell of a girl down, letting her stand on her own feet as he started to circle the cabin itself.

Owsla let her armor recicde, making her writhe on the ground as if she were in somekind of pain before popping herself back up. Only to have Champ fall on her as she did so. "OW!" She yelped as she nudged the dog off her her and stood back on her feet. The cabin did bring back memories for the young neco. It was warm, and had provided her with shelter as well as months of fun giving the blonde near heart-attacks in the mornings and head-aches. If anything, Ace proved to be a very good ambush target back then. "Wait! Do you still have my motorshell?!" she asked, excited before letting herself inside through the one way she always has. Through a window where her claw marks showed her constant entry and exit.

"I'm sorry about your love. I'm not going to sit here and act as if I know where you're coming from, but as you asked. I'll let you know what happened to those first set of people."

Akira began listening again, her head resting comfortably on her chin with an elbow on the table as the words soaked in. It was a long conversation but she held onto everything he said with curiosity. She did not blame him anymore for his actions and did not really consider them wrong doings at all. He was just a good man who had a bad start at life really. "So you are a crossbreed then? It was no wonder I could not tell your race. Ain't you a rare little nugget?" The black haired woman chuckled lightly before playfully tapping him on the nose with her finger.

Her eyes shined with optimism and at first glance I suppose I could confuse yours for her own."

The sapien found her cheeks flushing slightly as he said this though she felt like they should not have been, after all he was talking about a past lover rather than herself. It was just a statement for gods sake. Like herself he had also lost his most treasured person and had his world stripped bare. It was depressing really, it was very common to find someone ruined by warfare. "June. I don't think you are a bad man. I don't think you should blame yourself. This world is disgusting." Akira stated simply, tempted to get to her feet and give him a hug, but instead she remained seated awkwardly in the seat. Now that she knew the whole truth, the negativity surrounding him had vanished.

" I can't. Not until that man is dead. Now that I've also heard your story, I know more than ever that I have to kill him...I thought that when I met you and hung around you, that maybe I could actually get to know you... I can't die until I kill that man."

The raven haired man seemed angry and Akira did not particularly blame him one bit. She pressed her lips together and began rubbing them, thinking of something to follow up with but all she could find was silence.

"I also realize that meeting you was probably a test of fate. Trying to get me to lure in another victim to my life. It was also a reminder of my goal in a way. Though I ......"

"I AM NOT A NOT A TEST OF FATE. Don't you dare see me like that June! And again you are making it out as though I can't take care of myself. I'll prove to you one day I damn well can!" Akira spat, almost sulking after finishing her rant. As he answered his mobile to girl listened carefully to the conversation, trying to pick up what it was about. Even at the end of it she was unsure due to his quick cut sentences but she realized it was not pleasant.

As he raced back into his room, clothing himself and grabbing his weapons Akira felt a horrible feeling role over in her stomach. "Tell me what is going on!? Who was that?...June?" She pleaded though clearly was rather unsuccessful with her questions. His ignorance somewhat angered her but it made her more afraid than anything. It was obvious he was running ring into trouble; more than likely more than what he could handle.

"I guess you were right. I would end up getting rid of you in the end. But, I wouldn't kill you. I'd never take a meaningless life even if you probably think otherwise. I'm sorry."

Akira turned to quickly dash for her rifle and armour but once she glanced over her shoulder the stranger who picked her up in a bar before spilling his deepest secrets to her in one singular night had vanished into thin air. She scowled and ran to the balcony, watching him sprint away to whatever had got him so flustered. "You bastard. Please come back..." She hissed, choking slightly on the lump forming in her throat. He made her feel alive, he was the interaction that she needed to feel human again, she needed him. It was now likely he was going to die in whatever he had thrown himself into.

"Please come back."

June King

June rushed by through the outer part of the lot, looking back once more before he headed along. Since the lot was nothing but open space, he figured he'd have to come at them straight on. By heading through the outer area, he would still have a little dose of surprise on his side, figuring that the men would expect him to come from the direction of the inn. Thinking he had managed to reach the back of the station without being seen, the man crept towards the corner, trying to get a count of how many bodies he was up against. As far as he counted, there were six of them, though judging by the size of the van, there could have been at least double. His eyes sketched an image of the vans make in his head. Judging by the design, it had to be that place, meaning that his grandfather still operated in the same locations. The foolish old man.

Having all the details he could obtain of the situation, June grabbed his gun and walked out the corner, shooting one of the men he counted. As soon as he left his cover spot, he realized that his theory was right on the money. It seemed that the count had doubled and he slid back towards the wall to avoid an overload of fire. Sucking his teeth, he ran along the wall towards the air vent of the building and slid himself inside. Upon reaching the first grate, he forced it down and exited, almost dropping on the floor. Though the fit was tight, it was effective enough to lower their detection of him. He guessed he had five minutes before they realize his exact location. That meant four minutes to think and thirty seconds to get some better cover. Though, that was all being a little too technical.

Pulling out a cigarette and lighting it, June checked to count his ammunition one last time before taking his jacket and putting it on correctly. Though he usually just wore it slung over his arm, he didn't prefer fighting heavy armed soldiers with a shirt hanging off of him.

After counting time to a couple hundred seconds, he slowly walked outside the closet room of the station. As he figured the lights weren't on, which meant the man was just about to close shop. Passing through the door, June dropped his arms, so that they were to his side, causing his shadow to grow smaller. He stayed close to the wall walking slowly, listening out for any footsteps. Once to the corner, he poked his head out just a tad bit to see if they were even in the building yet. It was a short glimpse, but long enough for him to register in his brain all of the men who had guns pointed in his direction. The firing started just as soon as he pulled his head back.

They knew where he was now. If he stayed behind the wall, the fire wouldn't cease until they completely ran out of bullets. In that time, some of the soldiers would probably get the drop on him by entering through the back entrance. Either way he looked at it, he would still have a better chance of fighting from the other side of the room, where he could take cover at the checkout counter. He knew there was only one thing he could do at this time. He waited for a slight pause, hoping they wouldn't be too fast to reload. During their reload time, he'd be able to jump pass them. He hoped that the small stands of food and whatever else the owner sold would provide enough cover for him. Though, he guessed he would just have to find out when the time came.

He dived, hoping to at least be able to have a good enough stretch before having to roll the rest of the way. The men were trained well. Their reload had to be at half a second, something which only those who are seasoned to firing their weapon can do. June managed to get behind the the small walls of the counter, but he had a feeling a bullet passed right by his face. It was a close call, but it didn't slow him down. He poked out in fast increments to have a gun fight with the well armed men, but it was mostly void of any achievement. He realized that he'd probably have to get them into a state of panic if he were to have any chance of winning. Looking around he found one of the spare propane tanks that gas stations used inside the under cabinet. Next he took a small fire cracker out of his pocket, something which he carried around from time to time if he knew he'd be out alone a long time. After lighting it, he through it in the mens direction and heard one of them call out, "Move back!!!! It's a bomb!!!" Though after the poppers went off, the men gathered around it setting there guard back in place, but at that time it was already too late. June had already thrown the propane tank which was rolling at the mens feet. Flicking down the release on his gun, June pulled the trigger, sending a charged beam to towards the tank. Then men didn't even have time to scream before they were caught inside the explosion, one which reacted drastically with the gas, making for one big red mushroom of fire and smoke. From a distance it would seem like nothing would walk out of an explosion of that magnitude.

To say that Jennifer was over-stimulated was an understatement. There were loud noises and laughter and yelling, and she was slung over some man's back like a ragdoll. Like a soon-to-be-skinned rabbit. The second her boots were on the ground again, she wanted nothing more than to collapse. But with everything going on, that was the last thing to do. So she didn't. Instead, she took a deep breath, and gagged. The scent of blood and damp dirt was all around her, cloying to her hair and her clothes, worming its way deep into her throat. Clapping a hand over her nose and mouth, she shut her eyes tight, waiting for a quiet moment.

With eyes closed, she began to let her mind wander, away from what might be memories, people who might be helpers or murderers...it was all so much to think about. She pretended, for a moment, that she was back with the men, on her hard metal cot, hooked up to wires and boxes. She'd been safe. Warm. Had meals given to her, had privacy. She'd had to pay them back, of course but...that was easily ignored. She could lock those thoughts away as easily as anything. Back with the men, she was their precious little creation, their reconstructed child. They'd cared for her, and she did what she could to give back. And now she was out here, on her own.

Well. Not exactly. They were all there too. But who knew how long they'd keep her alive, or when the men would come to collect her. But for now, here she was. Standing beside a man who'd carried her, with another man who cried when he saw her, a woman who laughed after being attacked by a dog, and a reserved young girl. And the dog, of course. But death could come for her at any time, in the form of these people, or something else. And she had to be ready...had to be, had to be, had to. But she wasn't, right now. Slowly, she allowed her mind to come back to the present, opened her eyes, slipped her hand from her mouth, and wrapped her arms around herself. She simply watched everything happen. Stood and waited to be given an order, to be taken somewhere. To have someone tell her who to be so she could be it.

Anger. Anger was the biggest emotion pulsing through her body at that moment in time. How dare he just run of like that with no explanation after all they had just been through? Akira found it somewhat disrespectful but the main issue was that this stranger of a man was clearly leaping into something that may be a little too large for him to handle. She knew he was a tough nut but he did not seem like the type to way up his actions logically; someone to be possessed by emotions all the time, even though he would never admit it. Although of course, she was exactly the same. "Bastard, bastard, bastard!" She spat furiously with a cold tongue, dashing back into the hotel room to quickly slide on her armour and sling the rifle across her back.

Akira had hoped for a shower that morning but it now seemed questionable to whether she would have the pleasure or not. The sapien vaulted over the balcony with ease and landed securely on the ground before following in June's footsteps. Even though she was unsure where he was exactly headed, she knew it would be likely that trouble would find its way to herself. Akira jogged, keeping her body somewhat hidden in the undergrowth aside the roads. She wondered if she had missed the male or headed in the wrong direction before suddenly a fury of bright light and heat came from the right of her. Akira fell to the ground out of sight before allowing her pupils to search for June's whereabouts.

She spotted him almost instantly and began quickly crawling behind cover before lining a shot up to pick off those fleeing from the explosion. They did not seem to have been injured massively as such from the situation as they seemed to be backup hanging around the outskirts, still it was clear that the sheer heat of it had charred and burnt their flesh. The sapiens movements from then on were almost robotic and her eyes did not so much as twitch. They fled in plain sight and it was pretty easy for Akira to kill them with first hit back of the head shots. It was pretty smooth going. 4 new corpses now lay in the dirt. She did not stand. Not yet.

After a few seconds of silence the black haired slowly rose to her feet before dashing towards the man. "You have a hell of a lot of explaining to do Sir!" She hissed with a unfriendly tongue, but her eyes began quickly scanning his body for any fresh wounds. It took her a good few moments of looking before she was actually anywhere near satisfied.

Ace Tyrant

Ace cried out as Champ sank his jaws into the fleshy part of Ember's forearm. He instantly leapt forward to attempt to grab the beast by the collar and drag him away but after a split second of leaping his body seemed to freeze up. Who would he even want hurt less? To be honest the blonde man was quite unsure. The woman kneed the creature in the stomach before the pair fell over in a brawl. Ace saw her pull something from her pocket and began to cry out in distress, pleading for her to stop. Of cause at first glance the Neco thought the weapon was a blade of some kind but it was a simple stun gun and was unlikely to have no long term affects on his dear Champ.

He lay on the ground panting and whining heavily, with his body still twitching a little from the shock of the event. Though he was certain he had in fact been defeated. Ace pressed a hand to the animals stomach to check he was okay before getting to his feet to check on Ember. He felt sick seeing crimson drip from her arm like that and it did not take more than a second for him to blame himself. "I...I am so sorry. Ember..I..." He stammered but she began to laugh. It was odd. He was not sure what to make of it and so just stood there looking awfully confused.

"I apologize for that."
"Dammit. I really liked this one, too."
"Its official, I'm a CAT person, now please pull me up before I turn your dog into a pair of boots."

Sure enough he quickly pulled the woman to her feet with one hand on her palm and the other under her arm for extra support. It was odd to have that kind of response from someone, he would not have expected that from anyone, let alone Ember. Ace expected yelling or for his canine to be murdered, but laughter was the answer? "I guess he just wanted to protect me. I have some things for the bite inside...m..my god I am sorry. Come on..."

The group approached the door and Ace unlocked it with a passcode he had installed recently, allowing them in with a welcoming beep.

"You need to do better with your booby traps in these woods, Ace. It's crawling with bandits at the moment."

"You are actually a hundred percent right there. I don't have enough protection here and being honest I am just lucky that I have not had many run ins with the wrong type of people. I should really improve it." The blonde explained somewhat comically, but it was indeed a serious issue. Now Ace put some thought into it, it was actually a wonder he could even sleep at night with how vulnerable he was here.

"Wait! Do you still have my motorshell?!"

As the group stepped through the door way and Owsla made her own entrance, Ace chuckled lightly. It felt nice to have the little things like that back in the present rather than a memory. "I never chucked anything away of yours Owsla. I always hoped you would come back." He explained very honestly. With Owsla here now, it actually felt like his home. No matter how many times he had built or installed something new, his cabin always seemed to empty with out that feral child leaping on him at early hours. "Would you mind making sure Champ lies down somewhere comfortable so he can calm down?" Ace then asked the girl politely with a gleam of desperation in his eyes.

Ace then turned to Jennifer, who he had been trying to ignore the whole time she was there being honest. It broke his heart to so much as look in her direction. She seemed more ghost like than the visions he had been having this time three years ago. His Adams apple bobbed in his throat uncomfortably as he slowly approached her as though too loud of a word or too quick of a step could cause her to fade away into nothing. He hated this. It killed him. "J..Jenn you are safe here. I swear on my life. This place must be somewhat recognizable? You have been here once before. I'll make sure you have something to eat and a place to sleep while you spend some time to rest here." He explained to her in the softest tone he could manage, though his voice still wobbled uncomfortably and it was hard to hide the redness in his eyes from the stress of refusing not to cry.

Ace then turned to the rest of the group with a light smile before speaking. "You can sleep where you like and get food when you need it. Please don't make a mess...Oh and one of the bedrooms is Jennifers alone. No exceptions." He ordered, trying to leave his lost love as much space and comfort as she needed to have.

He then waved to Ember to follow him to the bathroom for a bandage and some healing cream. Ace began raiding small cupboard at the back of the mirror before plucking out the things he needed. "I really sorry..." The blonde stammered again before pausing for a second, wondering whether to just give her the items or have he himself bandage her up.

Ember Wolfe

Ember shook her head, feeling a little... strange. "I guess he just wanted to protect me. I have some things for the bite inside...m..my god I am sorry. Come on..." Her mind was blank and belatedly, she began following her Ace - Wait, what? Ember put a hand to her forehead, feeling confused at what she had thought and... A headache bloomed behind her eyes. Keep it together, Ember. She gritted her teeth, and nearly walked into an invisible wall when trying to walk into Ace's house. What the hell?! She tried to walk forward, through the doorway but it was life trying to walk through jelly. Shocked, surprised, confused, and frustrated now, Ember recoiled, taking a step back to glare at the door frame. Is this a real barrier or is this my subconscious telling me to get the hell out of here and as far away from Ace?

Ember stayed at outside the cabin, at the doorway watching the others move naturally inside the damned cabin. She felt like an outsider with them to be honest. Despite being a person that prefers living life without emotions, there was still that instinct to within a circle of friends, not outside one. That sentence reminded her of when she did have actual friends...

"Hey, Wolfe! Heads up!" A younger version of Ember pulled a metal can out of the air, just before it hit her on the head. "Trying to knock your Squad Leader unconscious while in the middle of enemy territory is not a good idea, Tex." A teenage boy appeared in the scene and slapped Ember on the back, "Aw, I was just making sure you didn't fall asleep." Before she could reply, another voice split through the air. "Geez, Wolfe we just wanted to get in on the action." Ember rolled her eyes and yawned. "Well the other guys know, right guys?" A group of nearly drunk teenage Necos looked up the boulder Ember and Tex were on, and they all agreed. "We thought having the legendary Wolfe twins in our squad would be so great!" Ember winced as one of her mates called Rico shouted out, his voice turning into high pitched voice in the middle of his sentence. "What it-" he burped "-really means is they get all the action and all the kills! They leave us none to kill or torture, its sort of boneless for us, 'cuz we soldiers need things to kill, things to do, blah blah blah!" That's when her brother appeared, and the memory faded...

Ember remembered her fondness for certain members of her old squad, and was pulled out of reverie when Ace spoke to her. "I really sorry..." She glanced at the doorway he'd walked into and on the inside, Ember smiled at this, but in reality, she was still glaring at the door frame with a murderous expression. "It's okay Ace, and..." She so wanted to bite her tongue, but she could not. "Just a couple puncture wounds don't need bandaging or anything like that. I'm fine, and if you need me I'll be out here... On the roof..." Alone and hating the damn world for being so unfair.. and Cruel. Ember stepped away from the front of the door and vaulted herself onto the roof where she promptly chose a spot and lay down on her back, staring up at the stars above her.

Oreron and Owsla Hall

Oreron loved seeing his daughter so excited, too many times had he seen herenraged and on the verge of battle induced insanity. As much as he was glad that his blood ran strong in her vains, there were something he wished that somethings didn't pass on to her.

The cabin itself felt a bit small to the large neco. Nearly beeing seven feet tall had that effect on places, though he had an easy fix for that. He plopped himself onto all fours and wandered the cabin as if looking for something.

Owsla, on the other hand, bounced around the cabin like she had years ago. Looking for all the new things and old that she remembered. She laughted like she was a child again before pounching on ace's back like she had done years ago. "Still need to fix your window!" She mewed before hopping off and planting herself onto the couch she had claimed once before.

Oreron had curled himself up In front of the couch, looking like an oversized caninerather than a neco male. His form gently moved up and down as he lay curled upin the floor. Even savage generals need to sleep at some point.

June King

In the midst of the explosion, everything went dark. It was only for a quick second, but the fear that came with feeling things fall over top of you while you're eyes were closed, made most men leave their protection bubble, just to be blasted or have a building piece fall on top of them. June, on the other hand, hugged the small surface of the main sales cubby. Even with the small bit of dubree falling down on him, he could feel his spot would prevent him from being crushed. After regaining his composure, he moved from around the table and dove through and exit, rolling on the ground until the burning sensation was muted of its reminding presence. It was very much tempting to his senses to stay on the ground and sleep there in the now quiet night. If he concentrated hard enough, he would have probably imagined the flames being no more than a camp fire next to his resting spot which happened to be the cold moist ground. The mix of temperatures was rather enjoyable to experience. Of course, this feeling was short lived due to the sound of gunshots and footsteps coming from a location not to far away from him. He stood up, realizing he had been shot in his shoulder, due to the snap pain and misty feeling coming from its location. It wasn't something that needed his attention at the moment, so he left the matter for later.

"You have a hell of a lot of explaining to do Sir!"

June almost jumped and cringed, like a kid who had just got by parent for sneaking out of the house. He was going to say something to follow up on what was said to him, but he couldn't help but notice she was looking him up and down. Almost as if she were.....checking on him? Needless to say, it made the man feel a tad bit uncomfortable and he moved his jacket off of him, just to sling it over his shoulder to hid his wound. "You shouldn't have come down here," he said quietly, looking around to see if anyone else was left. He couldn't tell why, but he had the feeling that they were being watched. "Hmmm. I didn't want to drag you into my problems. Now they're going to try to use you to."

It wasn't like June wasn't expecting her to follow him down there, but he really hoped she hadn't. Now it was like she had become his new responsibility. His new job. Until he could guarantee her safty, he'd have to stay by her side and the rest of his matters would have to wait. He was trapped once more and she had barely any idea what she was doing to herself. "Don't worry though," he said. "If I get you to a safe place you wont be in any trouble. I'll just leave you there, take care of the problem and ..... No that wouldn't work.......Follow me."

Through his sporadic words, he hid thoughts on the easiest way to avoid being followed. Somehow they knew of their exact location. The man knew that going back to their rooms would be a no go. So instead, he continued on walking along the off road path, holding onto Akira's wrist so that she wouldn't go off anywhere else. Though, if she did, he had thought he'd have to go with her to protect her.

When he finally stopped, he looked around seriously about a good twenty times. Time wasn't on his side. If he continued to detour because of people, he'd never reach his end goal, but on the other side of things, he'd never forgive himself if someone died because of him. He could feel the woman's nagging vibe slowly engulfing the area. He had already known that she didn't want him to see her as someone who needed to be protected, but it wasn't because she was weak or anything else of the matter that made him feel that way. Mostly it was do to his feeling responsible. He initiated contact with her, made it so that she was seen with him, and most of all, put her on the list of people that could be harmed to get to him. Even if that wasn't enough, she through herself in it too, with her killing of those men.

Still the fact of the matter still stood. He knew leaving her in a protected spot wouldn't work and he hadn't the time to find another way.

"Okay, a train should be here any moment now. I at least hope we didn't miss it. You should have stayed in your room. Now you're going to be identified along with me. Are you okay with that?" June groaned a little bit, grabbing his shoulder and wondering when it was going to go numb. "I can't stop doing what I do you know. So that means the danger is going to get worse from here on out. You sure you want to hang around someone who is basically poisoning you with their presence. You could get hurt you know?"

June rested back against a tree. The tracks were a few feet away and getting onto a moving train was hard, but he was beginning to feel heavily tired. He stopped stalking just to try to regain his composure, but it seemed only to put him to sleep. His eyes closed and opened, each time making his vision more and more blurry. It was probably from the blood loss, do to the wound he tried to hide. Then again, it could have been for a dozen other reasons as well. That night had definitely been one of crazier ones.

They escaped the snouts of his grandfathers dogs, but their trail was still warm.

"Affirmative. June will only last two more weeks. At that time, I will end his meaningless life. I'll also take the woman's to if you don't mind."

Junes grandfather was looking towards his umpire, as he'd call it. The city was never any more beautiful than when it was seen from his office room. He looked toward the communicator on his desk and smiled. "Do try to get to her first. Take away a mans joy and you leave him in a broken state. I wish to see if June can be broken again."

"Aknowledged. June will be broken."

With slow steps, Jennifer began to pick her way through the house, staying close to the walls, an eye on every door and window in case running became necessary. The inside of the cabin smelled of warm wood and clove, comforting and drowsy, like being wrapped in a cozy blanket or the arms of a loved one. She wanted to smile, almost could if she tried, but she wasn't smiling Jennifer right now. She was still prey. She wouldn't allow herself to forget. Even though the blonde man had promised her she would be safe here, safe had many different meanings. Whichever safe he meant, it was only temporary. She had to return to the men at some point. They'd be waiting.

Still. As she wandered the house, peeking her head into different rooms, she could feel an immediate sense of calm seeping into her veins. This place was safe. It was safe. She almost couldn't remember safety. Not real safety, anyhow. The safety she'd been living in had come at a price. But this safety...it wouldn't. At least, she didn't think so. This was freely offered, solitary safety. This was safety in the way of a den. This was a rabbit's safety. There was much to process here. And she didn't know what to do now. She was inside, she was with these people. But what was she to do now? The men had just told her to go, that they'd be checking up on her. And now she was here.

Stepping gently, Jennifer followed the blonde man, her hand reaching for him, fingers gently brushing his arm. With her eyes downcast, she took a soft hold of his shirt, and stepped closer. "Where," she tried to speak, but her voice caught. The pain was coming back, the longer she touched him, was near him. Lifting her gaze, she locked eyes with him. The pain screamed through her, but still she stood, tears brimming in her eyes. "Where do you want me?" came her broken voice, her hands beginning to shake. He might hurt her, but right now, he wanted her calm and safe for some reason. So she would be calm, and she would be safe, if only because he wanted that for her. "I will listen. Tell me where to go."

Ace Tyrant

"It's okay Ace, and..."
"Just a couple puncture wounds don't need bandaging or anything like that. I'm fine, and if you need me I'll be out here... On the roof..."

Ace was left with his mouth hanging open and his body frozen as she headed to the roof like usual. He felt utterly useless once more. Of course Ember had always been the type to deny help, especially from someone a good amount weaker than her. Still he was rather disappointed. As horrible as this sounded Ace was actually hoping to try and gain some affection from her. He was growing rather desperate to experience something similar to what he had with Jennifer all these years ago, even if it was from another woman who was more like Jenn than Jenn currently was himself. It did not even have to be something all that special, just some conversation and company would have sufficed.

He pushed the supplies back into the cupboard before organizing them carefully and heading elsewhere.

"Where do you want me?"
"I will listen. Tell me where to go."

"You are killing me you know that?" Ace said, his tone coming out rather darkly. He could not bare to so much as meet his pupils with the stranger of a woman ahead of him. He felt his heart hammer fast in his chest as she clutched at his shirt tightly, almost seeming like she was fearful. The blonde mans eyes became glassy as he let out a loud sight and bowed his head. "Come with me." He ordered, as this seemed to be exactly what she wanted.

He lead her through the house, popping his head around the corner into the living room to see Owsla and Oreron falling into their dreams. They looked so much more peaceful like this than usual. "Goodnight." Ace whispered, incase either of them were still half awake. He wondered if Owsla would reclaim her job as his living alarm clock in the morning. He begged the Gods that she would not.

Ace then took the raven haired woman to the spare bedroom and opened the door. Sure enough it was small but very clean, well decorated, and cosy. "Jenn get some rest here. I am in the room next door so if you need anything wake me up okay?" He explained to her kindly, but their eyes still never met. "I um..." Ace paused for a second deciding on his words, but still everything seemed to come out wrong. "Please look back through your memories and see if you can remember me? It's just...I...never mind. Sleep well." He stammered, shuffling about on his feet. One third of him wanted to give her a hug, the second third was yelling at him saying that it would be taking advantage of her in this naive state, and the last part was causing him to question whether or not he even wanted to, because was Jenn even his Jenn anymore. At the moment she was not who he once loved. He hated admitting it but it was fact. Plus even if she remembered it would be unlikely she accepted any affection anyway. So Ace just left and headed to his own room murmuring a awkward goodnight.

~~~~~
The sun blazed through the cabins windows and peeked through the curtains but Ace still lay in bed with the covers and his bed shirt tossed onto the floor due to the nasty heat in the night. He was still half asleep but sensitive to noise and movement. The male did not snore but often let out annoying noises of sharp intakes of breath and soft groans.
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
Okay that's cool. Awh btw the bit about Oreron seeing Ace as a son was brilliant c:
Also sorry for not posting for Akira tonight but I will do tomorrow. It's just my boyfriend is being a dickkk and I need to talk to him so. Yay relationships. -.-
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
I might put hints that either he's starting to loose his mind or that she is actually there and he just keeps missing her. Remember, he wasn't in his right mind after the attack and torture so she can very well be alive and he could have taken the wrong body to rest and they also became seprated.
That at it's very hard to find a white haired female picture for me for some reason.
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
Hai! Guy's I really really don't wan't this RP to shut down so please keep posts rolling in. I know I myself have not been as active as usual. I guess Christmas is a busy time for us all.
Sorry Kyuu I just did not check here c: You mean like her being alive or him remembering her? Either way its your choice but I suggest you not overwhelm yourself with too many characters but seeing Oreron's more sensitive side might be pretty awesome. Do what you like~
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
Hey guys, I just had an idea that's kinda fucked.
How do y'all feel about me including Oreron's wife in this and just going to town on oreron's mental state? XD
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
I HAVE RETURNED TO THE INTERWEBS! IT WAS COLD AND DARK WITH GREEN LIGHTS! XD
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
May Phonic finally bless us with a post as a Christmas present to everyone!
If he does not do so then I shall for real this time write him out and hopefully we can revive this! C:
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
Sorry for not posting. It's thanksgiving week here and I've been really busy with food and family. I'll try to post before sunday.
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
Yay. now that the site is working, i'll be posting tomorrow
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
Hmm, he figures there's no reason to post if we're timeskipping!
I'll rip him a new one if he doesn't post after the timeskip though.
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
Sorry guys. I have been pretty ill and upset lately thats why replies have not been instant. I'll post for Ace tomorrow and I want to basically get to morning in the next two set of posts so please finish up~
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
HE'S GOT TWO GIRLS THROWING THEMSELVES AT HIM! JUST TAKE IT DAMN IT! XDDDD!
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
Luna, my darling friend, this is my entire reason for returning to roleplaying. To make sure you and Ace are in pain because of poor, sweet, used-to-be-tough Jennifer. She is the only character I have ever followed and allowed to go through so much, and it is DELICIOUS.
P.S. I have returned!! I'll post soon, but right now I have lots to get done!!
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
I'll post for Ace once I get back from college. I just needed to get Akira's wombo post out the way. c: You have no idea how much fun I had writing it.
Re: Remorseless Evolution-General stuff
Yup. My baby is pretty sensertive~
