"You needn't pay any attention to anything the Journalists say, they're just getting paid to make the Republic look bad. If that's no consolation, just imagine their faces once we return and Earth has been liberated." Jane looked over at Douglas, shaking her head. "I just don't want to deal with them anymore, and I'm glad we're finally on the ship leaving. I can't wait to get back." She said as she walked over to Douglas, sticking out her hand to pull him up. "Have you looked around the ship yet?"
Hearing what Douglas had to say, Jane felt herself laugh a little. "Why? I think those would be perfect places to visit!" She teased as she thought of where her bags had actually been taken. "Um, could you maybe actually show me where the rooms are? I didn't even think about checking to make sure my bag made it aboard or not.." Since Douglas had mentioned being in his room, she guessed that the whole team would be in the same general area. She popped her neck side to side as she awaited his answer.
He grinned, the thought of flying always got him excited. "I'm ready when you are, Cap."
"All members of the recruited team from the Sunstrider, report to the bridge immediately."
It was Captain Russell.
"We'll be taking off soon," he added, and Athena then looked to Andreah and said, "You may want to head up there. I'll install the amps another time."

"Hey!" she greeted generically as she smiled and nodded in awknowledgement, "Nice to see ya again, Caps. Tyriel." the only two she had met on the ship so far, aside from the doctor.
She smiled towards Jaron and Frank. She had seen the younger one before, though she never caught his name. The second man, however, she could not say she had seen before.

Maybe he knew a little more about the first world than he was letting on. Perhaps the Anathians wouldn't be there. Perhaps they'd find something of more interest, more intrigue.
Once back outside with Douglas, she secured the journal underneath her arm and headed in the direction of the bridge. "Are you ready for all of this?" She asked as she realized she had forgotten a pen. She would need to remember that when she was in the company of others. It seemed the walk was more in silence as the bridge came into view and she saw the others. Giving Douglas a quick glance, she walked towards the Captain, showing her arrival. "Sorry it took so long, Captain." She saluted him and stepped into the crowd of others. She recognized few, so she made sure to remain close to Douglas.
