Tienette was about to assist in the tests as Tyriel rudely walked by her like she weren't even there "You're worse then me" she exclaimed as he stated that it was easy. With a shrug she blew a bubble with her gum and left the room and back to her quarters where she changed into sweatpants, sportstop and t-shirt and went for a run around the ships corridors.

Jane had been hoping to remain alone. When she heard Douglas' voice, she felt a little relief. She pushed against the wall to get up, but seeing Douglas sit across from her, she slid back down. "I suppose that made you feel better." Douglas had to be referring to the scream, so she just smirked. "It made me feel so much better. You have no idea." She just put her face back into her hands as she thought about everything the reporters had said to her. "I am so ready to get out of here." She didn't feel like sitting against the cold floor anymore, so she pushed herself up not letting herself fall back down this time.

"You needn't pay any attention to anything the Journalists say, they're just getting paid to make the Republic look bad. If that's no consolation, just imagine their faces once we return and Earth has been liberated." Jane looked over at Douglas, shaking her head. "I just don't want to deal with them anymore, and I'm glad we're finally on the ship leaving. I can't wait to get back." She said as she walked over to Douglas, sticking out her hand to pull him up. "Have you looked around the ship yet?"

Feeling how heavy Douglas actually was Jane felt herself struggling a little, but as soon as he was up her body relaxed to it's previous state. Hearing that he'd only seen his room, she knew this was the perfect time to go exploring again with Douglas. "I wonder if they have another bar for you to destroy." She joked as she started walking in no certain direction. "I didn't even know it was you that everybody had been talking about, but don't worry I got your back next time." She had left her hair down today for the interviews, but at this point she just wanted to cut if off completely.

Hearing what Douglas had to say, Jane felt herself laugh a little. "Why? I think those would be perfect places to visit!" She teased as she thought of where her bags had actually been taken. "Um, could you maybe actually show me where the rooms are? I didn't even think about checking to make sure my bag made it aboard or not.." Since Douglas had mentioned being in his room, she guessed that the whole team would be in the same general area. She popped her neck side to side as she awaited his answer.

"It's brilliant," he said looking up at Cap. He had heard the captain come in, at the control panel he was most aware of his surroundings and despite his focus on the countless flight tools he could hear a pin drop or notice the slightest change in the lighting.

He grinned, the thought of flying always got him excited. "I'm ready when you are, Cap."

Doctor Coles only smiled and said, "It's nothing, really. I--."

"All members of the recruited team from the Sunstrider, report to the bridge immediately."

It was Captain Russell.

"We'll be taking off soon," he added, and Athena then looked to Andreah and said, "You may want to head up there. I'll install the amps another time."

Tyriel woke up to the announcement and got dressed. He stretched a bit and then headed towards the bridge. Once he arrived at the bridge he looked around. "Tyriel Tanani, from engineer, reporting as ordered." Tyriel reported. He looked at his watch, only twenty minutes had gone by since he fell asleep, now he was feeling a bit more tired than before.

Andreah and the Doctor made their way to the bridge quickly enough. Andreah hadn't even settled down in her room yet, but there would be plenty of time for that later. X-2 climbed into her backpack and a sliding mechanical sound quietly buzzed from within.

"Hey!" she greeted generically as she smiled and nodded in awknowledgement, "Nice to see ya again, Caps. Tyriel." the only two she had met on the ship so far, aside from the doctor.

She smiled towards Jaron and Frank. She had seen the younger one before, though she never caught his name. The second man, however, she could not say she had seen before.

Tienette was on her last jogging round as she heard the announcement. "Damnit!" she muttered. She was still wearing running clothes, her hair was messy and her face flushed. She tried her best to clap her face down to normal color and brush her hair down as she entered the bridge. Out of principal, she promptly ignored Tyriel's very existence. She did not like to be ignored, and it didn't cost her a calorie to do the same back. She found one familiar face. It wasn't necessarily enjoyable company, but nothing really was to her... It wasn't unpleasant at least. She smiled faintly at her self, she had been told to play nice... Well, she could give it a try, however unconvincing. She slapped Frank friendly on the back "Hi Canadian" she stated, then gave the other, save for Tyriel, a polite nod, and a forced on smile. The typical 'I've met you, and acknowledge your presence, but I'm not yet sure if I'm happy to have met you" kind of look that always belonged to her meeting new people.

Tyriel nodded to Tiennette in greeting. He stood there watching as everyone came to the bridge, some he's seen before, some he hasn't. He looked over to Jaron, the pilot. "I hope everything you need is operating all full capacity. If anything isn' t just let me know and i'll get to work on it as soon as I can." Tyriel spoke, so that jar on knew he didn't need to worry about the systems that he'd fix them when needed.

Tienette rolled her eyes slightly, be it at Frank's enthusiasm or Tyriel's back licking wasn't easy to tell "I'm a mechanic" she corrected him, but smiled slightly, she tried not to be all ice and spikes "I'm doing what I love, how about you?" she said and asked simply. She turned towards where the 'entertainment' of the gathering looked to be about to happen, waiting for things to get cracking.

Tyriel nodded and looked to Jaron. "It's fixed. Back to full capacity. You shouldn't have any more problems. I went ahead adn installed some better coils to make sure that they'd be able to handle the extreme amount of power going through them." Tyriel answered. "If you have anymore inssues, let me know, and i'll get it fixed." Tyriel offered, he did a lot of work, and usually didn't have much rest in between jobs, but he was always willing to get something repaired.

Julian looked between Tyriel and Jaron and said, mostly to the pilot, "Take one more look at the shield levels. We might be running into some interference at the first planet."

Maybe he knew a little more about the first world than he was letting on. Perhaps the Anathians wouldn't be there. Perhaps they'd find something of more interest, more intrigue.

Jane had lost her train of thought when Douglas had showed her to her room. "I'm thinking we need to make our way to the bridge. I'm almost certain we'll find everybody else there." She slid her keycard to access her room and stepped inside before bringing her attention back to Douglas. "I'm going to grab some stuff then I'll be right back out." She stepped back a little bit so the door would close. Once alone, she found herself going through her bag that had been brought to her room by someone on the ship. She, made it to the bottom of the bag to find a small journal that she pulled out swiftly. She opened it, revealing the smell of new pages. She had always wanted to be like her father in the sense that he wrote everything down that was important, so she thought this trip was the perfect time to start.

Once back outside with Douglas, she secured the journal underneath her arm and headed in the direction of the bridge. "Are you ready for all of this?" She asked as she realized she had forgotten a pen. She would need to remember that when she was in the company of others. It seemed the walk was more in silence as the bridge came into view and she saw the others. Giving Douglas a quick glance, she walked towards the Captain, showing her arrival. "Sorry it took so long, Captain." She saluted him and stepped into the crowd of others. She recognized few, so she made sure to remain close to Douglas.

Tienette tried to hold back a snicker, but it came out anyways "Well, it's good you've been promoted to something useful" she whispered to Frank, dead serious. The last job he had when they met, could have been done by an alarmclock. She looked over to the captain, but back at the door when it swung open. The man walking in, not one it hurt to look at, gave her a weird look. She returned it, her face hardening as if it really did hurt to look at him. When he did look away, she touched her face to see if she had something there. She didn't... She then ran a hand through her hair. It was hopelessly sticking out in all directions... She rolled her eyes. Really! Messy hair, that was something to see, the guy had a freaking mechanical arm! She undid her hair band and brushed the top of her head with her fingers before putting the rest up into an intentionally messy, high set ponytail. It would be a nightmare to get it out, but it looked more like it was supposed to be like that. She frowned slightly at the woman that walked in. How did she keep up her looks? Hell, even Franks hair was less messy than hers. She shook her head, angry at her self, then looked at the captain. She was not high maintenance, and she didn't care, she strictly told herself. It wasn't that she didn't take care of herself, she did, the ship just didn't have a hairdresser. She had been so caught up in her training and work that she hadn't really given it any though either... She kept internally arguing with her self, looking stiffly in front of her self, waiting for anything else to place her focus on.

Tienette turned her torso and glared at Frank, her eyes would have killed him if they could. She straightened up, wiping away her bangs "Off course I don't" she said, as if that was very obvious. She nodded over to where he had stood, there was screens, metallic surfaces and glass "caught my own reflection and realized my hair was messy" she stated simply, smiling a little forced at him, then looking ahead. She wouldn't explain herself to him, no way.

"still is" he half snickered while trying to look at the captain and not minding her. The woman had little reason feeling self-conscious, as except for the hair she was looking smashing. To Frank everyone seemed to be a bit tired-looking, not like in the old TV series where all space crew looked like they just had been by a spa before waking up and going to work. And few characters ever had his job, but he didn't like getting stuck thinking about the inconsistencies of TV or movies.

"Now it is on purpose" she spat back insistently. Who was he to talk about her hair, he didn't look like he even shampooed. She shifted her weight impatiently, waiting for something to happen so she could go back to work, or a hairbrush.

Tyriel nodded some to Captain Russell and did one more check on the systems. He wasn't sure why the captain wanted another check, when he just finished the checks not to long ago. Tyriel ran the systems checks and looked back to Russell. "Everything is within operating perimeters and working perfectly." Tyriel reported to the Captain and walked over to the side, and waited for the Captain to give more orders.
