Echo was supposed to be home, not walking the out walking the sleazy streets of the downtown district. Prostitutes at every corner and with what she was wearing and the amount of make-up, she could easily be mistaken for one of them, if you didnāt know that she was Richard Luxbaneās daughter of course. There were very few people who didnāt know her family, her father was after all the co-founder of the infamous organ company GenCo, with Mr. Largo as his partner. Then there was her mother, who was plastered on every digital billboard. It was hard to overlook who her and her sister were. Her brother however, had left home before her family had gotten famous and very few people knew he existed.
She slipped down a back alley way, before finally coming to the back door to one of the underground clubs, known as ToNic. Where Zydrate ruled and your social standing didnāt matter. She knocked on the door, three solid times and when the door opened, they let her in.
The music the dark music got louder as she went down the stairs and when she got the open door way she paused, a smirk crept onto her lips as she took in the scene.
A haze of smoke, made it hard to see anything with the dark purple lights, but the one thing that stood out was the familiar glow of the blue Zydrate, that lit the pockets of the dealers or Graverobbers as most knew them of. You knew who they were. The atmosphere was brilliantly unreal and Echo felt more at home here then she did anywhere else. She pushed through the crowds intent on finding her brother. She was craving a fix herself and she knew her brother had the purest and cleanest illegal Zydrate on the market.
She finally spotted him in the corner of the club, a girl on either side of him and she climbed up the stairs of the VIP section and they let her past already known that Zeydon was he brother. He raised a brow looking over his sister, before smirking.
āEvening, baby sister.ā He said casually, giving her a nod of his head. āGlad you could make it.ā He said, his composure calm and cool like always.
She scoffed crossing her arms in front of her. āDonāt call me that.ā She sighed. āYou know what I came here for, so hand it over and no one gets hurt.ā She smirked, teasing him.
He matched her smirk with one of his own. āRight.ā He said as the girls moved out of his way and he stood up, pulling out one of the guns and a glowing glass vile and Echo watched him load the gun, her heartbeat speeding up, like always. He grabbed her arm flipping it so her palm was facing up as he placed the gun against her skin. She took a took a sharp breath as the gun went off and if he hadnāt been standing their she would have fell to the floor, but he caught her and help her sit at the table, until she could stand by herself. She could feel everything, the music seemed clearer. She closed her eyes letting the drug set in before finally opening her eyes and glancing to her brother who was sitting across from her at the table now.
āI thought you were bringing Tia?ā she asked and her brother smirked.
āSheāll be here, I sent a friend of mind to get her.ā He shrugged.
In all honesty, X had never been on the wealthy side of town, heād never had any reason to. His life was made in the downtown district. He was used to be surrounded by women and selling his drug. He wasnāt used to the quite streets of the upper side of town where all the snobs, who could actually afford the new found organ replacement. It was sick really the way there world worked now, not that he cared all that much. He was in the wealthy part of town only because Z had asked a favor of him.
Normally he was selfish and didnāt go out of his way for others, but he felt like he owed a lot to Zeydon for introducing him to his world. Without it heād be helpless, probably dead. So when heād asked him to stop by his house and get his little sister, he hadnāt exactly been excited about the idea, but heād agreed to it. He pulled the piece of note paper out of his black trench coat as he looked over the address again and glanced up to the large mansion in front of him. He sighed as he made his way up the path, making his way around the back where Z had told him his sisterās room was.
What he was about to do was considered breaking and entering. Not that, that was the worst thing heād done, heād just hoped the girl would give him a chance to explain himself before she freaked out. He glanced up to the second story, the window was open just like Zeydon had told him it would be.
āHere goes nothing.ā He breathed as he climbed up the side of his house desperately hoping no one would catch him, because he just looked like he was about to rob the place. When heād finally made it to her window, he climbed inside. However, she wasnāt there, the lights were on but the room was empty. Zeydon had told him not to go to the front door, because his father would freak out, so now here he was in some young girls room he didnāt even know, he sighed rubbing the back of his neck as he sat down on the bed, full intending for the girl to come back.
