Naturally dark brown and quite thick and curly, Andre's hair has been cut close to the scalp and formed into a low fade on the top of his head with his facial hair close-shaven and neat as well.

Now, for the most part, Andre is able to land deals and book clients due to simply being a persuasive and charismatic young man. At the end of the day, however, the biggest reason that he is able to get away with a lot of things is because...well, Andre is a massive wall of sexy times sexy to the fourth power. No joke, he is rather attractive and rather massive. Gaining his height from his father, Andre stands at a full six foot two inches with broad shoulders and sinewy muscles that are honestly intimidating. They aren't overly large and calling him massive is over-dramatic at best, but it is no secret that Andre is very fit. And knows that he looks good because his eyes are a pleasant green infused with a warm golden brown hue, and his skin is like honey (though his mom is determined to call him Cashew), and his curly dark hair is kept soft with a nice fade along the sides and back of his head though he is planning on growing his hair out again, and even his facial hair remains neat and somehow still attractive. He holds a tattoo on his right forearm in Japanese that reads, "Love. Morals. Loyalty." Much like his sister, Andre does have their mother's trademark freckles, though his are most prominent on his back and there is a faint dust of them on his cheeks that you would have to be very comfortable with his personal space to see for real.

Really, Owen had no need to stay at home all day. Every single detail of the party was being taken care of by their party planners, and he knew that things would end up fine. However, despite knowing that the end outcome would be good, he couldn't resist worrying about the little things. Had he spent most of the day out of the house, like some of the others had, he would have just been painfully anxious and brought the mood down, so staying at home and keeping check of everything seemed like his best option. He spent most of the morning and afternoon following up with the housekeepers, who ensured that every room in the home was sparkling clean (despite it being a backyard party), the landscapers, who had polished off all of the outdoor areas, and then the party planners. They insisted that everything was going according to schedule. The barbecue menus that the chefs had would be cooked to perfection, there would be enough food, seating and liquor for everyone, the decor was flawless, and the party would go off without a problem. Still, it wasn't until the party actually started at five o'clock, that he started to relax. It took a few cold beers, and seeing a lot of old, familiar faces, but by six o'clock, Owen was starting to feel more comfortable and in the party mood. As promised, things were going perfectly and as more people started to arrive, it seemed like people really were having a good time. The food was expected to be ready in a half an hour, so for now, Owen found himself mingling among the guests. He knew many of them, but many were also acquaintances of Andre, Natalia or Kylie, and some were even invited by the Rockefellers, Hewsons and Bautistas, so it was interesting to socialize with some new faces too.

"Bianca! Wow, it's so great to see you," Owen exclaimed upon departing from one group of friends, and running into an old friend who hadn't seen in at least a year or two. Bianca was an Italian model who he had worked with back in 2013. Despite being a few years older than him, she had always been incredibly gorgeous and alluring, but she had admirably chosen to take on less modelling jobs in the more recent years in order to focus on her children. Owen would never admit it, but he had always had a crush on the woman, so much so, that he had actually been glad when the news of her divorce arose. He wasn't the kind of guy who would take advantage of that, or even make a move on her, knowing that she had never seemed to be romantically interested in him, but just as a friend, he was glad to see her. "I didn't think you were going to make it. Last I heard, you were back, living in Spain." The pair spent a few minutes chatting, before heading over to the lounge area, that was set up to offer a full service bar. A few of Bianca's girl friends were over there as well, so Owen didn't feel bad leaving her there, now with a Jack & Coke in hand, and heading back over to the main lawns. One side of the lawns was occupied by elegant tables that bordered the huge line of buffet tables that would soon be covered in the fresh food being cooked on the row of grills in the back of the yard, as well as everything being cooked inside of the house. The other side of the lawn was where more people were mingling, likely since the DJ was set up over there as well. The sun was still up, and the night was still young, so Owen wasn't surprised that few people were dancing yet, and most seemed to just be socializing. At least for him, he was sure that it would take a few more drinks to loosen up to that extent, but with the great vibes of the afternoon so far, he was sure that most people would hit that point sooner than later. People were moving in and out of the pool house and main residence as well, which Owen had no problem with. The indoors offered some relief from the California heat, restrooms, a more intimate setting to socialize, and as Chris had insisted, some tables for beer pong and other drinking games. Though this was a casual party, Owen was still used to casual still maintaining some sense of class. It was a compromise that he was willing to make though, knowing that it would probably only add an element of fun to the night.

He had no destination in mind as he floated through the party guests, occasionally stopping for a minute to say hello or respond to the frequent "how've you been?" he got from acquaintances, but when he spotted Haven and Kylie sitting down at one of the tables on the other side of the lawn, with a group of guys standing over them, there was no question that he was going over there. He knew, deep down, that he had no right to just barge in whenever anyone started talking to his sister, but in his defense, he wasn't acquainted to these guys, so that alone was enough justification for him to go over and breakup whatever probably-innocent conversation was occurring. "Wow, looks like we're having fun over here!" he said, with mock exuberance as he placed a hard hand on the back of one of the guys, in the way that a father would purposely squeeze the hand of the guy taking his daughter to prom, ten times harder than necessary. "You guys mind giving me a minute of privacy with my underage sister, and her lovely friend?" he continued, still maintaining that clearly-feigned friendliness. And yeah, he knew that Kylie was no longer underage, but it didn't stop him from using the term quite frequently whenever any attracted males were around.

"Of course, of course," Andre replied lazily to the latest of guests who happened to greet himself and Bella as they made their rounds. His full lips parted easily to reveal the whites of his teeth, his eyes flashing with the wayward beam of the setting sun as he shook the other man's hand before smiling at his wife. Lawrence returned the handshake congenially, the slightest of tightening of his hand around Andre's which only made his grin grow. He just so happened to be one of Rose's ex-boyfriends from high school and the passive-aggressive vitriol exchanged in the last three minutes had already tired out the man's otherwise pregnant and uncomfortable wife, Joanna. "I'm sure your lovely wife would appreciate sitting in the living room, away from the heat. We could always come back inside and keep her company a bit later, right babe?" This time when he spoke, Andre's eyes were on Bella, a silent plea veiled by well-practiced, but slightly strained affection from the otherwise unnecessary interaction.

"Of course," Bella nodded and turned slightly while placing a well manicured hand on Andre's chest. A small knowing smile played upon her glossy lips, "I would actually love a drink, this heat is stifling. We'd love to catch up with you later though." She added with a practiced apologetic smile in Joanna's direction and a dismissive look in Lawrence's as she walked away hand in hand with her man. Andre gave a short and final nod in the couple's direction, his smile much more genuine and brighter when Bella touched him. She walked away swaying her hips in her tight white dress, chosen specifically for Andre of course. As they walked away she slipped her hand in his, a sign of solidarity. Without a second thought, Andre was squeezing her hand in a silent thanks as they made a quick departure from their unwanted guests, reaching the cobblestone walkway that separated the spacious lawns.

"I'm sorry, but I'm starting to think this is some kind of sign. Somebody does not like me," he joked lightly when they were a good distance from the couple. With the music's vibrations rattling Andre from his shoes to his veins, he made sure to lean in close to Bella, wrapping a comfortable arm around her waist so that she didn't have to strain to hear him. "Isn't this, like, the third ex in the last two days? Are they having some kind of convention?"

"Jealous, my love?" Bella said teasingly as she leaned into him. He was ready to neither deny nor claim such feelings, but her Bella's face spoke for her. She smirked at him and mockingly crossed her arms over her ample chest while continuing, "Because I could be jealous of all of those little trollups who have been checking you out all day." Andre sputtered out a laugh at that. "Trollups? Really?" He just had to ask, incredulous. When one in particular caught her eye, Bella sent the other woman an extra chilly glance. It wasn't but a second later when Andre noted that her gaze wasn't on him, but over his shoulder and he glanced behind them to see the other unnamed woman - he could kind of remember her from some investment deal he sat in on with his mother - scurry away from Bella's heated gaze. "Besides it doesn't matter if somebody" She added air quotes for emphasis, "likes you. I like you and as far as I'm concerned and as far as you should be concerned that's all that matters."

Andre couldn't help but bark out a laugh, the sound rumbling his chest as he pulled his girlfriend flush against him and gazed down at her face. "Hmmm...well, that's a relief because I kinda like you too." He said teasingly and pecked her lips gently. "Now, let's get my girl get that drink."

"You've got to be fucking kidding me," Andre hissed, partially to Bella and partially to himself the second the bar came into the view. No, the bar itself was fine - it was when Natalia came into view. Now, Andre liked to believe that he wasn't a complete prude. Was he a bit on the controlling side? Perhaps, but it tended to get the job done and so he saw no reason for there to be complaints. Then again, that was also his arrogance talking. The point was that yes, his sister was twenty-three and yes, she was actually paying her own bills since her money did cover both of her apartments, but still. No man - no matter their age - wanted to envision, let alone actually see in the flesh - their little sister dressed in, well, that. Natalia wasn't even that scantily-clad on stage and she always complained that she wanted her costumes to have less fabric so that she could feel less restricted when she danced. This was an entirely different story.

And he damn sure did not appreciate the less than savory leers some of the other men at the bar - co-workers who acknowledged themselves as his employees more than anything - were giving her.

"Sis," Andre gritted out as soon as he and Bella reached the bar, one of his large hands practically eclipsing Nat's left shoulder. She didn't even flinch; just turned her head to him, glanced over Bella for a second in consideration, offered him an unimpressed eyebrow raise and then turned her attention back to the bartender. "Hey, babe. Can you get me a long island iced tea and two rum and cokes? Extra lime, please." The bartender, because he was professional and a frequent bartender of the family who knew not to entertain Andre's bitch fits - and here, Andre thought she didn't know him well enough, ha! - smiled and set to work on the trio's drinks. Andre smirked. "Seriously? We knocked out a bedroom for both yours and Kylie's closets and out of all of those clothes, you decided on this?"

One thing Andre had appreciated about their younger years was that Natalia had been expressive. He wouldn't say emotional considering the fact that she equated that to fragility, but still - at least then, she wasn't able to turn to him a blank stare. Nat was still notably unimpressed, if her body language said anything, but any other emotion, much to his chagrin? Nonexistent. Interviewers and the tabloids found it to be intimidating. He just found it annoying. "And out of all the flavors you had to choose for the day, you chose bitter and salty?" She delivered with a deadpan. Nat pointedly ignored the frown that formed on his face in favor of at least properly greeting Bella. "Belle," she said, voice warmer for a moment and the smallest lift at the corner of her mouth resembling an actual smile before her attention turned to the phone in her hand. Valen hadn't answered her yet, but Brooke...Brooke brought a lascivious smirk to Nat's face. She could do that.

To: Brooke
Omw

"I'm just saying - " Nat was quick to cut him off. "And I'm just saying, irmão, that I'm grown," the bartender placed the first rum and coke on the counter and added an extra lime slice, which Nat quickly snatched up, toying with the straw between her forefinger and her thumb. "And how about, instead of focusing on what little old me wears for me, myself, and I, you focus on the cute outfit your little deusa bronze wears specifically for you." Natalia didn't spare her brother another glance. She nodded to Bella once as she sucked her straw between her plump lips before sashaying away to meet with Brooke. Andre shook his head and leaned back against the bar, turning fully to Bella. "How the hell am I supposed to survive the summer with that? I'll be gray by August." He was only half-way joking, but still. He didn't know if he could handle Natalia's...unrepentant sensibilities for longer than he typically had to now that they both were focused on their careers. Especially if a certain eldest Rockefeller became involved.

Once Nat made her way over to the lounge, it didn't take her long to find Brooke sitting very comfortably on one of the lawn chairs. Seeing the other Rockefeller made her face soften just a bit, not fully into a smile, but definitely something. For one, no matter what Brooke tried, she wasn't going to get a tan. It just wasn't going to happen. At least, not a perpetual one like Bella. And two, Brooke was one of her friends and it was always good to see her...though...she looked different. Nat couldn't decide what it was, but there was something...just not the same. Either way, before long, she was smirking and walking over, talking as she came. "According to my dear big brother, what I'm wearing is a touch too naughty to be seen in public," Natalia complained, sliding the semi-sheer garment off her shoulders as she approached the brunette. She slunk onto the empty chair beside Brooke, arching her back only slightly - mostly to allow the straps of the probably scandalous one-piece to stretch against her curves in a decidedly not innocent manner - as she crossed her legs before ending in a wicked wink at the friend she probably, definitely should not be flirting with. "Nothing wrong with this old thing, right B?" It wasn't like she followed all the rules anyway.

Bella giggled to herself a bit as Natalia approached, "She's going to wear what she wants". As she watched the two siblings interact she couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. None of her siblings were that protective of each other. Granted, her and Chris were becoming more like that but for now they weren't close enough that they looked out for each other in that way.

Ever the quite observer she simply watched the two interect, only speaking when Natalia adressed her, to which she simply responded, "Hello Natalia," and gave her a small smile. Which was most common for the girls. It wasn't that they didn't get along or anythng of the sort. They just didn't have much to say and neither was the type to speak unnecesarily. As the songstress walked away she turned her gaze from Natalia to Andre who was fully facing her.

She tilted her head and shrugged lightly, "She has a point you know? She is an adult and you can't really tell her what to wear. I know you have her best interest at heart but the truth is you can't control her." She reached around him and grabbed her drink. After a long sip she nodded thoughtfully, "Kylie on the other hand could still use some guidance. Especially if she is going to continue to hang out with that train wreck waiting to happen." She subtly inclined her head in their direction. She wasn't fond of Haven, not even a little bit. She preferred to keep emotions detached from people but she couldn't help feeling irritation any time the reckless blonde was around. She disliked people like Haven. People who got away with whatever they wanted and did whatever they wanted regardless of how it affected those around them. They were careless and selfish and she could not tolerate it.

"On a different not you could take her advice and appreciate the clothes I wear for you instead of focusing on what she's wearing?" Some people may find it hard to believe considering how confident Bella was but she needed constant assurance. It was something she had always disliked about herself but her whole life she did things for the approval of her parents and for the adoration and approval of others. It was hard to shirk a mentality that has always been apart of your life. She shook her head and smiled at him, "Um it's nothing. I understand what you mean about Natalia though, siblings can drive you crazy" She said quickly changing the subject.

Somewhere along the way Bella started to look to Andre for approval on certain things. Don't be mistaken Andre didn't tell her how to run her life or anything but occasionally she needed him to tell her that she was beautiful or to assure her that she was being the best person she could be. She wasn't needy but she did need him. She cast her glance away from him, partially because she was almost ashamed of herself for needing him to say she looked pretty but also partially because she was keeping an eye out for her siblings. Particularly Chris who had yet to show.

"Chris still isn't here," She said absently as she scanned the grounds. She noted Owen approaching out the side of her eye and smiled in his direction. "But your brother is" She waved in his direction and called out, "Owen"

Okay, for the record, Natalia had never claimed to be a good girl and she knew she was being cruel coming over and lavishing Brooke with all of, well, this. But it never failed to give her this satisfying thrill whenever it seemed like Brooke was taken aback by Natalia, whether it be by something she wore or said. And so, when Brooke failed to have an immediate response to her ingenuous complaint, Natalia's grin was far too self-gratified. She was probably being a horrible friend, but she couldn't help it. Besides, Brooke made it so...easy. And the fact that her cheeks were noticeably flushed against her typical pale skin was like the final nail in the coffin. "Good," she practically purred and didn't say a word when her drink was taken for the other girl to take a drink.

Finally, Nat actually relaxed in the chair, humming in understanding when Brooke explained why she couldn't have it earlier. She may have liked getting a rise out of her friend, but she didn't always push and even Natalia knew a subject when she heard one. So, she situated herself with the smallest of smirks and had the tip of her straw back in her mouth, sucking up a bit of the alcoholic beverage as she listened.

"Sounds good, babe," she said and chuckled lowly. "My mom thinks you're a saint, by the way. You're literally the only person who can get me to wear more than a pair of sweats, which I would do. Any day of the week, actually." It was no secret that Natalia definitely appreciated a less girly outfit. Her fashion choices over the years have become a bit more refined and she had nothing wrong with feminine garments. The difference was that she was casual about everything, when she wasn't being sexy. Sure, she might be wearing pants that sit low on her hips or even a low-cut crop top, but the pants are usually cargo pants or just slightly baggy and she's far more known for sneakers than heels. Brooke was the main reason why she even developed a like for heels in the first place.

"Which reminds me...what is this rumor that I've heard about some new direction you're taking with the line and why am I the last to know?" Nat demanded with air quotations on the "new direction" after a thought and then quirked her lips just so into a pout. "Don't you love me?"

It wasn't that Andre didn't know that Bella had a point. He did, he really and truly did. At the same time, he couldn't help but be concerned with Natalia, even as they both grew older. At the end of the day, when their father failed to be an actual father and wanted to be someone's employer instead, Andre had stepped up as best as he could for a growing child emotionally for his little sister. He knew her pretty much better than anyone. He knew a Natalia that, sure, liked less restriction with her clothing, but who could easily be more comfortable in a pair of sweat pants and a regular scoop-neck crop top. Hell, that was literally what she would wear around the house. But somehow or another, she took the need to be stronger and turned it into some need to be overtly sexual and that baffled him. And if his protective instincts were always on high alert because of it? Well, sue him.

He did acknowledge the validity of his girlfriend's statement when Kylie was brought up. "Kylie...that's an entirely different story altogether," he admitted, checking back to see the bartender placing both of their drinks on the counter. "I'm tempted to take a smoke for Owen whenever those two get into it." He and his brother - considering they've been related for too long for the step part of that to even count anymore - were almost on the same level when it came to dealing with troublesome sisters. Natalia was notably older and on par with them, so Kylie was a different ball game in terms of hormonal teenagers who don't like authority. But the struggle was the same. With Kylie, though, it was a bit...easier to manipulate certain situations. Nat was too secretive to always get the jump on.

Andre also wasn't stupid either. He caught the tail end of Bella's anxiety as she tried to hide it by backing his complaint against Natalia up, which just didn't do. Andre hated when she did that and even as he handed her the Long Island Iced tea Natalia ordered for her, his frown was evident. Not because he was irritated by having to assure his girlfriend, but because something made her doubt herself. And swiftly too. It was rare that he didn't catch it, but it damn sure wasn't easy to get it back to being a subject they discussed or acknowledged once Bella tried diverting his attention. "Hey now," he said lowly, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and pulling her close so that his lips could press against her forehead for a small kiss before staring down at her eyes again. "Don't think I haven't noticed how stunning my girl is. I've been appreciating all day." He gave her an overt leer just to see her smile before winking and taking a drink of his rum and coke. Andre, though, did pointedly ignore the remark about Chris and that was mainly because he didn't care. If the guy wasn't off plowing his way through debutantes and hookers alike, he was probably high on something already. He'd put on a show eventually. Chris Rockefeller always did.

He did, however, look up to see Owen heading over and smiled. "Hey, man! Party getting to you yet?" He knew Owen wasn't exactly the party person that most people demanded of affluent young adults, but the guy could schmooze when needed and he did know how to have a good time. But it wasn't in Andre to not check in on his siblings when the opportunity arose.

"Sounds good, babe," Natalia responded with a low chuckle if she wouldn't have been able to hear if the DJ wasn't beginning to change the track. "My mom thinks you're a saint, by the way. You're literally the only person who can get me to wear more than a pair of sweats, which I would do. Any day of the week, actually." Brooke couldn't help but to let out a soft laugh at her comment about her mother. Come to think of it, ever since her mother found out Natalia was friends with Brooke, she seemed to show a huge appreciation to the small brunette because she tends to pull Natalia out of some situations she shouldn't be in before she puts herself into said situation. Of course Brooke isn't able to stop her from doing everything that wouldn't be such a good idea, but there have been a few times in the past. "I think all your mom is worried about is the fact that you're a woman and she wants you to look more like one on a day to day basis. Though I'm glad you didn't dive into the way she thinks you should be, you should be yourself. You're much happier that way," Brooke responded, partially speaking about her own situation back at home with her own family. But thankfully Brooke was pulled out of her thoughts on that dreaded situation and started talking about her new line that she had been working on.

"Which reminds me...what is this rumor that I've heard about some new direction you're taking with the line and why am I the last to know?" Nat demanded with air quotations on the "new direction" after a thought and then quirked her lips just so into a pout. "Don't you love me?" Brooke let out a soft gasp at her best friend's last words and placed her slender hand over her heart in a playful manner. "Of course I love you, Boo," she responded. "I just wanted to make sure everything was perfect before I brought the new line up to you. I'm thinking about branching out towards men as well. I have a few sketches drawn up that I want to show you," she added with a soft smile.

Brooke stood to her feet and slid her sandals on before turning her attention back down towards Natalia, who was still sitting down. "Come, I'm about to get myself a pina' colada," she stated as she began to make her way towards the bar. As she began making her way over towards the bar, she spotted Rose, Owen, and Andre. All she could manage to do was let out a sigh and send a slight whisper over in Natalia's direction, "I can't believe Owen ditched me for Rose," she stated before approaching the bar, hoping the three of them wouldn't really notice her and if they had she hoped they'd ignore her.

Brooke took a small glance over towards her twin and rolled her eyes a bit as she removed her glance, All white? Real classy Rose, she thought to herself. Once the bartender focused his attention upon her, she gave him a soft smile, "Pina' colada, please?" she stated and the bartender got to work fixing her drink.

On the way to the bar, he passed many familiar faces, but once he actually reached the bar, he found the faces that were more than just familiar ones. A quick scan of the area allowed him to identify Andre and Bella-Rose, and Natalia and Brooke, as being present in the immediate vicinity, and though Owen had come over to the area to get himself a new drink, he was delightfully sidetracked upon seeing his friends there. He probably would have chosen Andre and Bella-Rose over Natalia and Brooke anyway, but he had no choice, when Rose called him over. The scowl that appeared on his face upon seeing what Nat was wearing, or more accurately, wasn't wearing, barely faded from his face by the time that he reached the couple. It didn't matter if Nat was sixteen or thirty-six, single or married for forty years... there was no way that Owen could ever see himself being okay with the way that Nat liked to dress when she was in this "mood". He called it a mood, over a style, because Owen liked to think that she was doing this purposely. Maybe she wanted his blood pressure to reach some sky-high level and send him to the grave prematurely. Maybe she just liked getting under his skin. Maybe she actually did crave the stares of men who Owen was convinced, only wanted her for sinful reasons. While Owen would tell you that he stood by his harshness in condemning Nat and Kylie when they acted and dressed so provocatively, he was also aware that he had a double standard. He didn't think anything was wrong about Brooke, who donned just a skimpy bikini right besides Nat. She wasn't family, though, and even though Owen cared about her too, it just felt different when people were looking at someone who you would always think of as your little sister, no matter how not-little they actually were.

"Hey," he said, upon getting over to where Rose and Andre stood. "'The sisters' are testing my patience but I'm alright besides that. What about you two? Enjoying yourselves?"If anyone had a relationship that Owen respected, it was these two. Bella-Rose had to be one of the most beautiful girls he had ever laid his eyes on, and he had definitely gained a lot of respect for Andre once he somehow won her heart. All it took was raising his empty glass in the bartender's direction for the man, who was familiar with Owen by now, after being hired for many of the family's events in the past, to nod his head in understanding and start on his next drink. His fresh glass of whiskey and coke tasted stronger than the last, but it wasn't unbearably strong, and Owen was good at holding his liquor, so it didn't bother him much. All it made him crave though, was a nice piece of red meat to go along with the ice cold drink. The food would probably start coming out any minute now, and against what he knew to be good manners, he already predicted himself making a plate before everything was fully out, and all of the other guests had helped himself.

When he noticed Brooke and Nat getting up from when Brooke had been sitting a few minutes earlier, and come over to the opposite side of the bar that they were standing at, he looked back to Rose. "Are you excited to spend a few months living with Chris and Brooke again? I feel like you guys ended up all over the map after you two graduated high school. Should be fun to have everyone back under one roof for a few weeks, yeah?" He could have actually done without having to spend two weeks with his own siblings, or at least Kylie, but he would be happy for the families that he thought had it more together than his own.

Bella smiled brightly at Andre, very much pleased by his answer, "You're very good to me. Maybe tonight I'll be good to you". She added with a wink.

Though that smile dimmed a bit when Brooke walked by and, in typical Brooke manner, rolled her eyes at her as she approached the bar with Natalia. She took a deep breath and re-centered herself. The last thing she needed was to look erratic today of all days. Bella and Andre always attracted attention whether they were together or not, but seeing them together for an extended period of time, in a public place, freely displaying public affection, it was like being in a zoo and they were the main attraction. So the last thing she needed was her twin sister making today difficult.

"Hello sister," she called, not loudly, but just enough that Brooke knew she was aware and more importantly Brooke was aware of her.

Owen's arrival did make it a little better though. She smiled warmly, happy to be standing with two of the most important people in her world. Granted, her family was important too but when you had a family like hers you need to have at least one solid friend who will always have your back and put your needs first. She was lucky because not only was her best friend like that, but her lover as well.

She was only half listening to their conversation at this point. Now not only distracted by Chris's failure to arrive but also her sister having some sort of attitude. Not that that was a new problem. Brooke's perpetual woe is me nobody ever thinks of me attitude had always made Bella out to be the bad guy. In Brooke's eye's it was Bella's fault that the captain of the football team wanted Bella and not Brooke. Just like it was Bella's fault that mom took her prom shopping and let Brooke pick out whatever she wanted with her friends. Or how it was Bella's fault that dad danced with her first at the daddy, daughter dance. It has always been and it will always be Bella's fault.

She only halfway heard Owen's question but managed to catch enough of it to respond, "Am I looking forward to Brooke blaming me for the sun rising in front of my window instead of hers? No. Neither am I looking forward to worrying about Chris every time he walks in the house past two a.m. However I am happy to be here. I know, as the only sibling that really stayed that I see you all more than my siblings do but my bridal company has been so busy the past year that I feel like I barely see you. " She sighed, "I am a bit nervous about this summer though. I mean all of us in one house. We can't pretend like there won't be any drama. Hell put me and Haven in a room alone for a few minutes and there'll be drama." Thinking about Chris she pulled her phone out of Andre's pocket, where she kept her stuff when she had no pockets and didn't want to wear a bag, and sent Chris a quick text.

To: Chris
Are you on your way soon?

I'm getting worried about you.

She took another sip of her drink and scanned the grounds, this time looking for Haven and spotted her with Kylie. She rolled her eyes, Great another stressor
She did not like Haven. Period. But she really didn't like her with Kylie who was young and impressionable and going through this family drama. Haven was like some sort of succubus and she sucked the life out of those around her. She didn't like her around Kylie almost as much as she didn't like her around Chris. And that was a lot.

"Oh my God, no," Kylie objected dramatically, in a manner that was only somewhat playful. She knew that a lot of the time, Haven said and did things to get a reaction out of people. It seemed like she fed off of that, or the energy of it, at least. Kylie didn't think deeply into it enough where she was contemplating whether it was because Haven craved attention, or maybe even control over people's emotions, but she still didn't like it when Haven did it at her expense. Especially when the topic of it all was her own siblings, and Haven trying to speak about them sexually. It was no surprise that she did it about Owen and Andre, but get a few drinks into the model, and it wasn't shocking when she started including Nat in those conversations, too. Kylie didn't dislike Haven for being a sexual person, though, and it actually would have been hypocritical for her to have been so. Everyone liked to make comments about how Kylie's own sister, Kim, founded the family's careers through her own promiscuous behaviors, and it seemed like every day, there was a new tabloid story being conjured about Kylie, herself, going home from a club with some rapper, or model, or athlete, who she had never even met before.

Realistically, she didn't come close to Haven in terms of being so open and free about sex or those topics, despite what other people wanted to say. Sure, she liked to wear some tight fitting outfits that left little for the imagination, from time to time, and she definitely wasn't shy about fashion in that sense, but she wasn't a slut. Despite what Owen seemed to believe, she didn't seek men out just to spend a night with, to piss him off. She didn't want to become pregnant or be some famous guy's arm candy for a month before he cheated on her and moved on to the next. If Kylie was going to end up in a relationship, she wanted it to be a real one, and if she wanted to end up in a sex-only relationship, she definitely hadn't met any guys worthy of that partnership yet. Or maybe she had, and they just weren't worth the stress that she knew would come, especially this summer, living with Andre and Owen... but what was important now, was that no matter how liberal Kylie felt herself to be, she still wasn't comfortable with Haven describing her sexual fantasies when they involved her siblings. "First of all, Andre is not stupid enough to do that to Rose, and second of all, I will kill you if you end up doing anything with either of my brothers. That's just... gross! And yeah, it would definitely cross the 'evil bitch' line, too." Kylie and Rose weren't particularly close, but they were friendly enough that she didn't have any real reason to encourage Haven to do something that would surely hurt the Rockefeller. If there was one Rockefeller who she didn't care for though, it was Brooke. The girl just gave off bad vibes, Kylie thought. She was the knock-off version of Rose, and had no right to think that she was better than anyone, because of that alone. "If you're going to fuck with anyone this summer, make it Brooke," Kylie suggested, a bit deviously, as they approached the bar lounge area. Owen had beat them their by a few minutes, and was now standing with Andre and Rose. Natalia and Brooke were there too, among a fair amount of other party guests, though the area wasn't particularly crowded by any means.

Simply because she didn't want Haven to be around either of her brothers, Kylie decided that crashing Natalia and Brooke's little duo would be preferable over the trio's, so she led Haven to the side of the bar that the two girls stood at, and made sure to stand on the side farthest from Andre, Owen, and Rose. Natalia's outfit, even with the cover-up, was reassuring, since Kylie felt like there was no way either of her brothers could give her shit for ordering a drink when Nat was wearing that, but she wouldn't have really cared anyway. Owen and his incessant need to dominate every aspect of everyone's life was tiring and unwanted, and she wasn't in the mood for it today. "One California iced tea, please," she said, when a finger raised in the air caught the familiar-looking bartender's attention. Only acknowledging Brooke and Nat now, and actually not even acknowledging Brooke personally, Kylie turned to Natalia with a smile. "I can't believe you actually wore this. I mean, I totally love it, though," she said genuinely, as she brazenly sent two fingers to grab one of the straps that crossed over Nat's torso and gently allowed it to snap back against her sister's stomach after she pulled it slightly, to feel the damp material. "Haven and I might ditch in a little while. Do you think you can cover for me, if we do?" Seeing Owen again had left her doing a complete 180 on the thought of ditching this party for another one, because now, especially with the cold drink in her hand, she was feeling like maybe she could get into the mood to party tonight.

Natalia didn't bother acknowledging Brooke's opinion on Isabel dos Santos. She and her mother were...better. It was the safest explanation that Natalia could give without delving deeply into years of repressing emotions and generally not having actual, emotive conversations that had nothing to do with her music career. She didn't bother bringing certain things up and while Isabel notably has been seen trying in these last two years, Natalia just didn't see the point. What's done is done and the fact of the matter is that Nat doesn't take into consideration everything Isabel might want for her anymore, not unless it has something to do with a photo shoot, upcoming performance, or anything publicity related. Even then, she mostly asked for everything to be delegated to Andre. As annoying as he could be, between the two, Andre was more of Nat's handler than her mother ever had been. But that was also her allowing the woman more room in her thoughts when she normally resided nowhere near them, which was why she chose not to say a word and instead, sipped on her rum and coke.

The corners of her mouth did lift, however, so that her face softened notably at Brooke's explanation about her future enhancements to her clothing line. She could help but act playfully appeased, placing a hand over her own heart in mock satisfaction before chuckling just a bit. She could have done without going back to the bar, considering she had only come from there a moment ago, but Nat stood anyway when Brooke decided she wanted a pina colada. Besides, as much as Nat was slurping down the drink in her own hand, a refill was bound to be the next move on her agenda. Or the dance floor. The DJ was spinning a few island vibe tracks that Natalia could feel her joints naturally getting into the mood for as they headed to the bar, hips undulating just-so to the catchy offbeat of reggae music blasting from speakers and pulsing through the ground. Nat hummed to herself faintly at Brooke's indignant hiss in her direction over being ditched by Owen for Rose, since...well, she never did pick apart Brooke's jealousy over Owen and Rose's friendship. Perhaps it was because he was her brother and she didn't really want to know what he could get into with one of her best friends, Nat didn't know. But it was obvious that both were...uncomfortable, if you will, in one another's presence now. Which was far from normal, given their previous intimacy. Then again, Nat hadn't truly picked it apart yet. Just...observed.

While Brooke went ahead and requested her drink, Nat leaned against the bar rather comfortably, using the surface as an arm rest so that she could rest her head on her hand as she sipped her alcohol. A beat later and she was grinning at Brooke. "And don't think you're slick, miss. Since some people like to abandon their friends and move across the country, you owe me a dance tonight. Actually, a bunch of dances." Nat was only half serious, but she wasn't against dragging Brooke to the dance floor. And if she happened to get the benefit of both seeing her friend dance and the girl actually have some fun, well, where's the problem in that? "You might go home in August or July, but until then, you're mine, Miss Rockefeller. Just wait until you finish that drink." It was only after she finished speaking that Nat turned her gaze for a second only to see Kylie and Haven appear. Nat dipped her chin in acknowledgement to the other girl before smirking at her sister. She didn't even flinch at the lash against her skin the gentle pull of the strap gave her, but she did raise an eyebrow at Kylie as if challenged. "How else am I gonna drive Owen crazy enough to make him want to leave the house for longer than an hour? You know his temper tantrums can go." She ended up saying, swiping a hand through her still damp hair. "Do what you will...just don't do anything I wouldn't." Which, if they were being honest, given her track record, wasn't much. But still, Nat couldn't help but say it with a small smirk.

With his arm still around Bella's shoulders, Andre didn't allow his gaze to drift to where Brooke was. For one, there was no doubt that Nat was with her. If the songstress wasn't with Valen, whom he had yet to see, or He Who Shall Not Be Named, then she was going to be with her favorite of the Rockefellers. And Andre didn't need to entertain his thin patience with his sister's insistence to try him. Two, because he knew Bella. Her and Brooke's relationship was strained for years and it was the first thing Andre picked up when they moved to California. Natalia had pointed it out when she had gotten him alone, but it was Andre who was able to understand just a bit better. At least, from Bella's side of things. So, instead of turning to acknowledge his girlfriend's sister and his own sister, Andre squeezed Bella's shoulder gently, in comfort, as he answered Owen.

"Nothing I'm not already familiar with," he acknowledged, his understanding for Owen's frustration with their siblings prolific and inexorable. Andre hadn't had the chance to talk or see much of Kylie today, but he had given her a warning yesterday about behaving. Nat was only slightly starting to rub off on her. Kylie was beginning to take on her stoicism. "But...we're-we're good here. I know I could eat though." He exclaimed jokingly, to keep up at least the less tense air that had been present before Brooke came over. But then Owen had to mention her. And well, Chris, and since Andre hardly allowed Chris to sour his mood to a certain point, he had to reason that the true cause of Bella's outburst was simply about Brooke.

Andre had to drink a bit of his rum and coke before speaking, but he rubbed Bella's arm soothingly as he did so. "This is going to be good, babe. You know that," he reasoned. "It'll be time for you and Brooke and even Chris to catch up, and come on! Nat's actually home and not running off to god knows where, I took off for awhile, and we're all going to have a good time. Besides, how much drama do you really think anyone's going to want to have if we're too busy jet-setting off to Croatia or something?" Of course, that was his disingenuous optimism showing. There was going to be drama. Especially since Nat was already not in the mood to acquiesce to his request for her to behave, Chris was going to actually be in his house, and Kylie and Haven were more than likely going to drive them all crazy. At the same time, this summer was meant to be for fun and damn it, Andre promised himself that he was going to have the time to enjoy himself. And that included no breakdowns because his family and friends decided to drive him crazy.

Owen didn't have a single clue about what the cause of Rose and Haven's rift was, and to be honest, he hadn't even thought that there was a major problem there. He knew that the two were never seen together, really, and he would never pin them as being best friends, but he always supposed, maybe too optimistically, that it was just because they didn't have similar interests. That was definitely true, but it was apparent, when he really thought about it, why that alone could be problematic enough. Bella-Rose was very refined, and though not in the way that the word could be used to describe stuffy, pretentious members of the upper class, there definitely was an air of prestige that she carried. She cared about her reputation and her family's name, and to Owen, that was commendable. She had self-respect and wasn't willing to just throw her morals out the window for a night of fun. In the wake of having siblings who were more flawed than she, she still managed to maintain some sort of composure and patience, that Owen didn't think accounted to even 1% of whatever he and Andre possessed, combined. It probably sounded like he idolized Rose, but he genuinely did think she was a model-citizen... or maybe even a model-everything, and he didn't care if that would make Brooke think that he was just another person who fell under the Rose Rockefeller spell.

On the other hand, there was Haven, who was quite the opposite of Rose. She was another gorgeous girl, who literally made her money off of her looks, so she had that in the bag, but she was wild. The true definition of a wild child, and growing up with two of his own sisters falling into that category too, he didn't even hesitate to group Haven in with them. Since she wasn't one of his sisters, Owen would be more human about her craziness, and admit that it wasn't a horrible thing. He didn't like her acting that way around his own sisters, but people were allowed to live, and as someone who had a similar career path as her, he knew that she wasn't abnormal given their fellow models. A lot of them were invited to the hottest clubs on the planet, paid to "host" the party, all while also receiving enormous amounts of free alcohol and drugs, and just generally being paid and encouraged, to let loose. While Owen could relate to Rose a lot more, he couldn't deny that there was something alluring about the carefree lifestyle that Haven lived. Yet, when comparing hers to Rose's, it wasn't hard to understand why their lifestyles alone would cause them to clash, especially when considering how frequently Haven partied with Chris, and how badly Rose wanted Chris to be more tame. It was sad, really, but Owen actually appreciated Rose being honest here, because it was a good reminder that he needed to do everything he could to make sure that she and Haven didn't end up in the same room as one another, at least not alone.

"Yeah, Andre's right. I'm sure that things will go well. Everyone's going to have a good time, this summer." At least he hoped so, too. He had made sure to clear most of his schedule of modelling gigs, though he did have a few local ones that he couldn't back out of due to contracts. Even though he liked to think that he was more stationary than Nat, it wasn't abnormal for even him to be in Rome one week, Paris the next, and New York a few days after that for work. It was tiring, so he wasn't complaining about this summer off, even though he doubted that it would really be as relaxing as he tried to insist it would be, to Rose. "I've been craving a long weekend trip to the French Riviera, or somewhere over there, so yeah, don't worry about the drama, Rose. We're gonna keep you busy," he said, following Andre's lead in trying to lighten the mood. He couldn't have agreed with his brother's comment about being hungry any more. He felt like his stomach was on the verge of growling, and though Owen claimed to be hungry 24/7, regardless of how much he ate, he meant that now. Though the area that the food was going to be set out on was out of view from where he stood now, he was sure that it was beginning to be brought out. Even with the amount of staff hired, with the amount of food prepared, he was sure it would take a good ten to fifteen minutes for it all to be served, but as he had thought earlier, maybe this one time, he could toss his manners to the wind and make a plate before everyone else. "I think I'm going to go check on the food. I'm starving and I need to make sure that Mauricio saved that huge lobster for me, like I told him to. You guys wanna eat now, or should I catch up with you later?"

As usual, the Bautista’s were running late. The siblings had spent the previous few weeks together with their father in their home in Argentina. It had been lush with towers of libations, delicate gourmet treats and latin passion. Even with a majority of her time spent covering for Santi as he trooped around with the Ambassador, Valen managed to find a good time - be it with the equally privileged and reckless youth among Argentine most elite, or in shamelessly flirting with her fathers friends. Valen didn’t mind babysitting anyhow, carelessness and fun was a luxury she could only admire from afar.

Their family had their own jet, so when Valen woke up puffy from the champagne and Santi still hadn’t washed off the shame from the night before, the siblings decided to postpone. Besides, they liked to be a little fashionably late - it helped with their image. So the two tore apart their luggage to have their travel assistant repack later in search for their outfit for the party. Neither of the siblings had been in the States for months, and every time they came back it was like everything would change.

“I’ll choose your outfit.” Said Valen as she rummaged through Santi’s things, throwing a maroon pair of swim trunks his way and a soft plain white tee. Santi didn’t mind, Valen was the fashionista between the two of him. He probably would have worn the first pair he found, so he changed without objection and returned to scrolling through Instagram.

“Hey look,” He said, showing Valen his phone. It was a photo by some model, maybe Stephanie something or other. It was at the pool party the siblings were to enter, Valen squinted to recognize the faces in the background. When she saw Nat’s exotic face posted at the bar, a smile split across her face, then she recognized the entire Rockefeller clan. Predicting this would happen, Santi laughed. “What? Now you’re going to be on your best behavior?”

Valen mumbled under her breath, returning to her mission to pick out her outfit. It wasn’t that she didn’t like the Rockefeller’s, but when they were revered as this golden family and Valen could tell the lot of the weren’t her biggest fan - it made things uncomfortable. Her family and friends were better known for hanging out in the seedier part of fame, Valen couldn’t help but to feel a twinge of inferiority in their presence.
A voice overhead announced they would land within the hour, Valen turned their travel assistant their father had assigned to them. “Carajo, Florencia - donde estás mis trajes de baño? Como puedo ir a la fiesta de piscina sin mi trajes?” Valen spit out the words like venom, she had the tendency to take her frustrations out on the poor people her father sent to babysit her and her brother. “Por la concha de su madre, Florencia - hacé su trabajo mientras que lo tienes. Con suerte hay poco tiempo con eso si yo tengo un parte.”

Florencia offered little of a reaction as she reached into the travel bag that Valen had left untouched so far, opening it to reveal a whole assortment of swimwear for Valen to wear. A smug expression from the woman and Santi laughing from behind her was enough to send Valen into a fit, taking the carry on into the bathroom with her. Santi looked at Florencia from over his phone, quirking his eyebrow. She gave a cheeky expression and returned to her tablet, undoubtedly planning out any foreseeable chaos that the siblings might cause the upcoming week. She was helpful that way. Valen returned before the plane began to descend, fashioning her swimsuit as a leotard with destroyed high rise shorts and a lacy kimono.

“Really have to balance that line between looking good but not looking like you had to try that hard.” Santi joked as Valen snarled at him, bending over to fasten the clasp of the heel around her ankle. The bump of the plan hitting ground stopped Valen from replying, instead they primped themselves. “Florence, will there be transit from the Airport already arranged?” Santi asked, Florencia nodded.

“Right on the ground, sir.”

“Very good.” Valen said as she smoothed her hair.

The siblings could avoid customs and all that due to their diplomatic status, also due to simply who they were. They left for the party from the plane, Valen’s noticed a text from Nat. Wincing, Valen responded quickly, she hated leaving Nat alone to deal with people - there were so few left with likable attributes.

To Nat:
Hey bb, be there in a bit. Still on ARG time.

It was always better to arrive to a party later anyhow, especially after 9 hours of napping and drinking mimosas on a private jet before hand. When they arrived to the home, everything was already in full scale. Santi immediately was pulled aside by a past fling of his, a skinny morena with honey colored eyes. Valen rolled her eyes inwardly, Santi always needed to have the most interesting characters as a notch on his headboard. Assuming most of her people would be at the bar, Valen was none to surprised when she saw Haven and Nat at the bar - along with Kylie, the Rockefeller girls, Andres and Owen. She smiled to herself at the incestuously knit little web between the families, it was only inevitable to find themselves all together.

“Neña!!” Valen greeted Nat affectionately with a hug and a peck on her cheek. “Why does it have to be like a chase around the world for me to find some time with you nowadays?!” Unfortunately, due to Valen’s culture growing up, she couldn’t sneak away from the group without another word - she had to greet each of them with a kiss on the cheek and a small greeting.

“Ladies! So nice to see you here.” She said, giving them both a peck on the cheek, doing the same to Andres and Own, “You two as well, gentlemen - always a pleasure.”

She gave Haven a little hug, “Don’t worry, I’m not here to ruin the party - I promise.” then turning to Kylie as well to peck her cheek. “Baby girl - hey! Is Kendall here as well?”

She hated it, but there was no way she was going to walk up without saying hello to anyone, it was against her nature - friendly or otherwise. Before she hadn’t had time to read the situation before she barged in, now in retrospect she could sense the tension. Looking to Nat with an expression of both amusement and exasperation, she turned to the bartender. “How about a round of shots - yeah? Vamos, my treat.” She said cheekily, aware it was an open bar. Although she knew this did nothing to deflect the opinion many had of her as a party girl or whatever - she didn’t care anymore. There was no sense in worrying of trying to convince people they’re wrong about something that isn’t their business anyhow.

“So, shots?”
She asked again, grinning to Haven, Kylie and Nat - assuming at the very least she had those girls to join her.

Bella knew in her head that Andre and Owen were right, she really did, but she couldn't help but feel a lack of enthusiasm for this summer. I mean could you really blame her? Neither of her siblings were that fond of her. Correction, Chris was becoming fond of her after some epiphany he had that revealed to him that all those visits to his rehab and all those times she put her neck out for him, even at one point paying for his rehab herself since her parents refused to, weren't her way of showing off. On the contrary, they were her way of taking care of him because she loved him. But now that he did appreciate her he didn't appreciate Andre, which was infuriating to her. He could act like he liked Andre all he wanted but she could tell he didn't and she couldn't understand why.

So did Andre and Owen have a point? Yeah. However neither of their optimism was helping her right now. However the idea of travelling was helping so she decided to focus on that.
"Croatia? The French Riviera? Why wasn't I informed we had travel plans?" She was partially teasing but she was also serious. Rose was always prepared and to stay always prepared you needed to know all of the plans and she did not pack for either of those destinations and she could go home and grab some clothes, she only lived about forty five minutes away, but she wanted to go shopping instead. "I'm not prepared. Boys you know I like to be prepared. "

The arrival of Valen was one that brought bad memories with it. As she predicted she arrived in a floury of attention in some skimpy outfit. Also, not to be rude, Bella knew it was her culture, but having Valen walk up to her and kiss her cheeks like they were friends was a no. As the girl did it she subconsciously leaned away from her causing her to wander out of Andre's arms. She also couldn't stop herself from saying, "Don't touch me" a bit louder than the murmur that she intended it to be.

"I'm ready to eat now" Bella, now in a chilly disposition, said to Andre. Seeing Valen immediately brought up bad memories. Memories of Chris stumbling home drunk and yelling at her. Memories of her parents, who had given up on her older brother, putting so much pressure on her. Without a goodbye to the group of people around her, something that she rarely did,she started walking away.

When she got in the house she headed straight for the kitchen. To say she knew her way around was an understatement. She knew this house as well as she knew her own. So it wasn't surprising that she just casually snagged a bowl of strawberries from off the counter and started eating them. She knew Owen or Andre would come and expect an explanation but she didn't have one that they would like. If it wasn't for Valen Chris wouldn't have fallen as deep in the hole as he did. As far as she was concerned she wasn't welcome here.

Valen smirked as Bella threw a fit in her arrival, protesting Valen’s greeting and storming off - expecting the rest of her group to scurry after her. “Te lo juro, neña - no quiero tocar vos mas que es necessario.” She mumbled under her breath, waving as she smiled after the woman. “Caio, amor!”
Quirking an eyebrow at the boys left behind, Valen’s lips pulled into a sensuous smirk. “I’d probably run after her if I were you, wouldn’t want the darling all upset because lil’ ol’ me ruined her good time!”

Valen couldn’t pretend not to understand the immediate rejection from the Rockefeller golden girl. It wasn’t like powerful WASP families to relay sensitivity to a culture other than her own. It almost empowered Valen when the dark haired minx slinked away. Valen knew that her mere presence could send the woman into a rage - it was downright delightful. Despite Bella’s attachment to Chris, Valen paid no note of such care to find Bella immune to her Valen’s forms of manipulation to start a rise. All she ever had to do was be polite, be herself - and it could drive the primmest of all the Holywood maidens into a frenzy.

Albeit, she felt a sense of responsibility to Bella. Valen ignored the spoiled girls plight for attention. turning to the rest of the group as Have cheered on the lot. “Tequila or no, I just want something to settle this weird plane buzz I’ve got going on.” She hailed the bartender to serve each of the partakers their drink. “Add a rum and diet to that, please.” Valen said with a wink, passing out the shots to the others.

“Cheers.” Valen enthused, grabbing her cocktail from the bartender, already bored with the situation. It was time for a new place, with a new collection of people. “I don’t know about you ladies, but I see endless mystery ahead - I hope you join in.”

Typical in her fashion, Valen slinked into the crowd, hoping some of the girls would follow her - but mostly following the tide. These were the type of moments where she’d happen across Lenny Kravitz or Leonardo DiCaprio - in the drift of parties. That’s what they were all doing there anyhow, networking as much as they could. Everyone knew someone who knew someone who had some project you’d be perfect for. So that’s what Valen did. She made herself known to the people she wanted to know and somehow ended up at the edge of the pool, spliff in hand and staring off into the distance. There were a few others wading in the edges of the pool. it was all to tempting.

Slipping from her shorts and kimono, Valen slid into the heated pool, retiring the spiff in her wake. Treading water, looking above, Valen knew others would see her and judge, but honestly she just wanted to take a dip in the pool. As someone in her position, when everything she did was a question of her character, why not just do whatever the fuck you wanted anyways? She waded in the center of the pool for ages until the herds of people began to dive in, clothed or otherwise. In a predictable manner, Valen waded to the edge of the pool, sitting in the corner with her legs still immersed and hair slicked away from her face.

Natalia had honestly focused on drinking the rest of her rum and coke, so she had ignored her phone when it vibrated in her hand. It could have been Chris and she honestly would have left it alone until her next drink. Besides, she was too busy internally laughing - and the only outward indication of her internal disposition was in the form of a smirk - at how absolved Kylie was in her desire to remain passive-aggressively hostile towards Brooke. The pair's relationship was always amusing to her and Nat, because she never claimed to have a single ounce of good in her, entertained herself whenever it just so happened that she managed to get both girls into one room for longer than five minutes. As much as she liked a drama-free and relaxed environment, it was Natalia dos Santos. It wouldn't be her if she wasn't drawn to a little bit of mischief.

And she wasn't too upset about not having checked her phone because Valen had finally arrived and Nat didn't even try to evade the hug, comfortably leaning into it and pecking Val on the cheek in response. "Come on now, babe. You know I've gotta keep you on your toes. That's how we work," she replied with a grin, not at all ready to turn down a round of shots when Valen called for them. She smirked at Haven's reminiscent look her way, remembering this one time when she had done five shots back to back. Not that she had actually counted, but it had been an exhilarating rush at the time and the world might have tipped over for like five seconds after the last one, but it was totally worth it when it felt like her body could go for hours and hours on the dance floor. But she wasn't going to be bringing that memory up. It seemed like Andre had super hearing or something every single time she did, and he always came running with that disapproving glare. Nat chuckled at Brooke's exclamation of only living once and downed the shot she was given without hesitation, barely wincing anymore at the way the smooth liquid tingled in her throat. It didn't burn like it used to during her first ride in the drinking rodeo, which was why she couldn't help just laughing a little at Kylie's obviously inexperienced drink.

Not that her younger sister needed to be gaining any experience at all, but Nat also wasn't going to be the one to take the fun out of everything. "Fill me up, babe," Nat called to the bartender and set her glass on the flat surface, turning back when Val decided to disappear and Kylie had turned back to her. Nat hummed to herself softly at Kylie's question, doubting that she was going to tell the girl all of her invites for the evening. There were some places even Nat knew not to tell Kylie about and besides, she was not about to have Andre and Owen down her throat for Kylie knowing about underground parties with people wearing far less clothing than what Nat currently had on. "You know me, Kyles. There's always a back-up." She chose ominously, running a hand through her hair and checking on her phone. "I'll let you know if anything comes up." As she waited for her drink and to figure out if she was going to the dance floor next, Nat text Chris. If she was making any plans for the night, he of all people was going to be a part of it.

Chris:
Where u at babe? Who else am I gonna do body shots wit?

"Babe, you didn't really think we were staying in Twinkle Town all summer did you?" Andre just had to ask with a grin, a subtly appreciative nod Owen's way for diverting Bella's attention. The last thing he needed was her focusing on the negative, particularly as they pertained to her siblings. As far as he knew, Nat had Brooke and could distract her easily. All she had to do was get Brooke focused on her wardrobe and honestly letting loose, or even flirting with her - which was still something Andre figured he needed to question his sister about in terms of her intentions - and the younger Rockefeller was golden. A few scathing looks aside, he didn't think Brooke would be as much of a problem as Bella seemed to believe. Chris on the other hand, Andre just didn't trust him. Andre also didn't like him, but that was neither here nor there. All they needed to be thinking about was having fun. The other...issues could take a backseat. Besides, who was going to really be trying to rip baby hairs out of scalps if they were too busy sipping on mimosas at breakfast in Nice?

But of course, that must have been him being just a bit too optimistic. Andre was a realist; he didn't focus too much on trying to think happy thoughts and all of that. But he also didn't believe in things like allowing one person to notably get under your skin. With Chris, he was able to either play it cordially for the sake of his girls or go on as if Chris wasn't even a factor in his life. Which he wasn't, under most circumstances. However, Bella was a bit more malleable, it seemed, when it came to Valen. The second the svelte artist came into view and showered everyone in a polite display of affection, Bella was shoving away from her and storming off, a wave of barely restrained hostility that had Andre pinching the bridge of his nose. And Val didn't help, no matter the small soft smile curved upon his lips that he managed her way, with telling him to go after her. Sighing softly, exasperated internally, he glanced at Owen. "Wish me luck," he said to Owen, taking a strong drink of his rum and coke, clapping his brother on the shoulder before glancing at Natalia, who only raised an eyebrow from afar. Shaking his head, Andre headed back towards the house, shaking a few hands with clients and partners alike.

It didn't take Andre long to find Bella, petulantly munching on strawberries with a vehement hostility in her form where she stood. One of his eyebrows rose, questioning, as he headed over to her. He gave her a pointedly probing stare as he inquired, "You do know that the real food is going to be outside, yes? I mean," he stepped closer to her, purposefully not bringing up her display from outside, in favor of wrapping inconspicuous arms around her waist so that her back was pressed against his front comfortably, "strawberries are nice and sweet, but there's also going to be seared scallops in a jalapeno vinaigrette and pan-seared salmon in a brown butter sauce." Andre smirked at himself for using Bella's love for seafood against her, but it was also his way of getting her to talk and also not hide away from Valen just because she obviously didn't like her. It would mean there was no point of them all being together for the summer if she couldn't handle the girl's presence; she wasn't going anywhere, after all. "Are we really going to hide away for the rest of the day, babe? Because of Val?"

Even when angry Bella still subconsciously leaned against him when Andre came up behind her. She knew she was being childish but a part of her really didn't care. She couldn't understand why everyone was so ignorant to how dangerous Valen was to Chris. The last thing she needed was for him to fall back on his bad habits when she just got him back in her life.

"I know what the menu is Andre, don't use my favorite food against me," she said pettishly. "What I don't understand is why Val," She hissed out, her jealousy peaking through. "Otherwise known as the Valen, the girl who contributed to my older brother, who, mind you, will be staying here all summer, is here? As if I don't have enough to worry about." Andre bit back a snicker at her initial response, resting his chin on her shoulder as he leaned down to be somewhat on the same level as Bella even as he remained behind her. He could feel her body relax against him, muscles losing their tension. "You do know you answered your own question, right? She's here because, like you said, she's staying for the summer." Andre knew he was pushing it, just a bit, by being lax about Bella's mood. At the same time, what he couldn't understand was her vitriolic speech whenever Valen was involved. As far as he was concerned, both parties were not mature at the time of their relationship and weren't good for one another. It didn't leave one more dangerous for the other. Then again, he honestly didn't hold Valen in any sense of contempt for the way Chris turned out. Andre did question her choice in men if she went after someone who was far more uncontrollable than herself, but he kept that to himself in the presence of his girlfriend. "Do you really blame her presence on your brother being a loose cannon?"

"Andre" Bella huffed, expelling a large angry gust of air from her lungs. "Look I don't care if she's your friend or whatever she is to you, I don't trust her and I don't want her here. Isn't it bad enough that I have to deal with Haven? I don't need to deal with her as well." She spun around and fixed her glare on him, "Besides, you don't even like Chris, so of course, you'd find her blameless." The truth was she knew that she didn't have a really good reason to be mad at Valen. If she was completely honest, all of her anger should be directed at her brother but she felt that Chris would have gotten help earlier if it wasn't for her enabling her. She hated the fact that everyone acted like Chris was such a screw up, but nobody said anything about the fact that Valen was with him, enabling him and his drug use. "And Chris isn't a loose cannon he just made the wrong choices and associated himself with the wrong people in life." Bella said stubbornly.

Andre exhaled harshly through his nose at Bella's insistence to not...well, to not let this go. He couldn't appease her on this. At the end of the day, it was his, Owen, Kylie, and Nat's house. Valen was Nat's friend, mainly. He didn't think it would do any good telling Natalia that her friend couldn't stay in her home due to his girlfriend not liking her. It was a sure fire way to get his sister on the first flight back to Dubai and they'd spent enough time apart as it was. But then Bella also turned on him and Andre didn't even attempt to hide the exasperated annoyance in his eyes.

"Babe, I love you, but you've got to accept the fact that above anyone who stays in this house, Chris himself is responsible for what happened in his life. My friend or not, Val is not the sole contributor to his fuck ups." Andre usually tried to word it a bit more delicately, but he also tried to keep Chris from his thoughts and words so this was him being nice. Like she pointed out, he didn't even like the eldest of the Rockefeller clan and it was no secret that the feeling was mutual. However, he knew he had to use a different train of thought to attempt to get Bella to leave the Valen situation alone. Or at least, get her to play nice. Besides, by following Bella's logic, he should be allowed to kick Chris out of the house simply because Nat was associating with the wrong people, just like she wanted Val out. And they both knew how that would go over if he ever worded it.

"Besides, if you're going by this logic, you're saying that Val is a trigger because it reminds Chris of the choices he made and the lifestyle you want him to leave behind. Wouldn't Nat - someone who's been there from the beginning and doing half of the same things that he's done - be just as much of a trigger since they're always together? She's literally his partner-in-crime at this point. Would you kick her out of her own house just because she's considered a contributor to this?" It was a bit of a blow, using Natalia, but a point had to be made. Val and Nat represented the lifestyle that indulged Chris' recklessness; Nat, more so than Val, continued to encourage it. Perhaps, not to the same extent since the temperaments of the two women were different, but it was a bit of the same logic. Bella and Natalia weren't especially close, but even Bella wouldn't do that to her. Not like Nat would give her much of a choice in the first place, but still.

Bella knew he was right and it annoyed her to no end. At the end of the day, though, she knew that this wasn't something that she wanted to fight about so she simply sighed and murmured under her breath insolently, "Fine I'll be...civil." She accepted that this might be something she had to get over. Andre didn't often go against her on most things, so if he was going against her on this and bringing Natalia into the discussion, then he must be serious about it. She bit her lip and, in a show of vulnerability that she would only show to Andre and maybe to Owen, she bit her lip, "Part of me needs to believe that there was a reason that he was so..." She averted her gaze from his, "So mean back then. I mean a reason besides the drugs. You weren't there, you didn't get rejected every visit. It was heartbreaking." Andre sighed then, running a hand through her silky hair, kissing the top of her head when Bella leaned forward.

She sighed and leaned her head against his broad chest, and Andre shifted so that his arms could remain around her accordingly as she acquiesed, "I don't like her, but I will be good, for you. My same argument could be said to keep Chris away from Nat and you've never done that, so how can I keep him from Val?" Not that Andre hadn't thought of it and Chris hadn't tempted him to employ the thought process, but Andre chose not to vocalize that. There was a lot of things he literally forced himself not to vocalize around her whenever she brought up that...sibling of hers. Bella couldn't resist the urge to snarkily use the nickname he just moments ago had used. Not because she was mad but because she wasn't even sure when they became friends and their friendship made her a bit uncomfortable. Andre rolled her eyes when she did it, but made no comment about it. She paused and raised an eyebrow at him, "I'm not apologizing though, I don't want her touching me." Andre chuckled then, nodding slowly. "Noted," he replied.

"Now are you gonna feed your woman or not?" She said teasingly, hoping that they would be done with their discussion. "Because I believe I was promised scallops and salmon." With an easy grin, Andre released her from his hold, but took up her hand a beat afterwards. He got what he wanted out of this and if Bella was ready to drop the subject, then so was he. "I do aim to please, babe. Always." He said and led her back outside where, as he had noted from the relative emptiness of the kitchen they were in, the food was being set up as they spoke.

Christopher was running late for the Fourth of July party, but running late was one of his talents. Deadlines and being prompt weren't exactly priorities for him, and since he knew that this was a big event where his presence - or lack thereof - wouldn't be depended on to an extreme, he didn't feel the need to let anyone know that he was busy that day. He had stopped by Owen's house two days prior to drop off his bags, before taking a short flight to the San Diego area, where he had a photo shoot on one of the private beaches in the area. It was only something that took a couple of hours, but Chris opted to spend two nights there, hanging out and partying with a couple of the female models who he had been shooting with. It was nothing crazy, just some low key house parties that wouldn't end up in the tabloids, but it was also enjoyable enough that he didn't rush back upstate on July 4th. He had actually missed his early morning flight, and had to wait for one that left in the mid-afternoon. It was a quick flight, but he followed that up with a stop at his family's beach home in Newport Beach to grab a few more items he wanted for the summer, and then drove himself to Owen's house.

Upon arrival, he found that the party had certainly went off without a hitch, regardless of his absence, and for that, he was nothing short of glad. However, when he finally turned his phone back on after the car ride, he saw an array of texts from his friends and family. Natalia's made him smirk, but since he was already on the property, and now through the house and headed into the yard, he didn't feel the need to answer. He would find her instead, and let off his smartass remarks directly to her face. He assumed that she was going to be at the bar, and he would have been right too, but as he headed outside, he spotted Andre and Rose a few yards ahead of him. It didn't look like they were headed towards the bar area, but instead, the food tables that were being lined with trays of food that Chris could smell, even from where he stood. That in itself made him want to follow them, but at the same time, he wasn't ready to deal with that.

He was in a good mood, and it wasn't like he thought his sister or Andre would ruin that good mood, per se, but Rose's texts had indicated that she was "concerned" about him, and he wasn't in the mood for the questioning that he was sure would come, upon seeing her. "Where were you?!", "Why did it take so long for you to get here?", "You know it's not polite to show up late with no warning, don't you?" were all very possible conversation starters when he envisioned how greeting his sister would go, and he wasn't in the mood for that just yet. Maybe he was being dramatic, since especially lately, he had come to terms with knowing that no matter how badly Rose could irk him, she always had good intentions at heart, but he also wished that she would understand that he didn't need someone checking up on him. It was nice and all, knowing that she cared, but he was older than she was. She could claim to be more responsible or whatever she wanted to say, and it was definitely true, but as everyone liked to say, he was old enough to make his own choices and pay for them when consequences arose. He had done that all throughout his life, in respects to making stupid choices and learning from them. Right now, Chris felt like he was at a really good place in his life. He still "tampered" with some of his old habits, that definitely weren't the healthiest, but he didn't think that a line of coke every once in a while, or a couple of blackout drinking nights were actually going to kill him. He was trying to enjoy his youth, something that he thought his sister needed to do more of.

Instead of following them towards the food, he opted to remain unnoticed by the couple, and headed in a different direction. Now doubting that he would find Nat just yet, he sent her a text back saying, "Don't worry, I bought those flavored condoms that I know you like. We can test them out tonight. I just got here. Look around and follow the direction that all the girls are staring in, and it'll probably lead you directly to me." He knew good and well what her first text, about the condoms, was referring to, but he wasn't going to miss an opportunity at pretending that he thought she was concerned about him remembering condoms for them to use together. Once that was sent, he decided that there had to be some alcohol in the pool house anyway, so that was the destination he had in mind, but he stopped short, at the pool itself, when he noticed a very familiar, and very attractive, brunette in the water. "Scantily clad and wet," Chris smirked, when he caught her attention. "Just the way I like you." The two hadn't been an item for a couple of years, but that didn't stop them from remaining friends, and it was just in Christopher's nature to flirt with any beautiful girl he crossed paths with. Even now, Valen was no exception to that, and even though he didn't get into the water just yet, and opted to remain standing on the edge, outside of the pool, he took off his white v-neck and tossed it onto a nearby lounge chair, leaving him in just his swim trunks. "How've ya been, V? I feel like you've been avoiding me with how you always seem to be on the other side of the globe when I come back to town."

The sun was still peaking enough through the clouds so Valen could enjoy the rays from the spot she had claimed as her own. This was where she had learned to thrive at parties, sitting away from the drama basking in the atmosphere. It was such a difference from herself a year or so ago, normally by now she’d be sneaking into a coat closet with someone or doing body shots. Instead she just kicked her feet in the water, digging the palms of her hands into the ground behind her so she could lean back and observe. Even soaking wet, hair ruined and lounging at the side of the pool, Valen knew she still blew most of the other women at the party out of the water - pun unintended. She ran a manicured hand through her dark mane, shaking out her wet locks when a drink was hovered in front of her.
Dark eyes rolled upwards, and her lips tugged into a satisfactory smirk at the face she found. The hand she had just used to shake out her hair crawled up a muscled limb scrunching up her nose playfully. “Marc, I can’t believe you made it!” Valens greeted the handsome model she had seen walk up and down the runway in many fashion shows. She accepted his drink and the man sat down beside her, also submerging his feet, they kissed one another on the cheek - Marc was French, he understood the cultural compulsion.

“I can’t believe you did, I thought you had died you’ve been M.I.A. for eons at this point. I thought you’d come back with a rib less or a new nose,” She glared at him, “not that you’d need it!” He added, clinking his drink against hers. The good thing about Marc was that she didn’t have to pretend with idle chit chat with him, it was the European part of both of them. They could just sit in silence, sip on their drinks and enjoy the show. Marc leaned over to point out Bella-Rose as she came back onto the lawn. “I witnessed your not so friendly encounter with the Golden twin earlier, it seems she’s rejoined the masses.”

Valen scoffed.
“Whatever, she’s hardly a blip on my radar.” She said, sipping the last of her drink. It wasn’t worth to stir up conflict, this wasn’t her home - she was at a disadvantage here. If she wanted to see tomorrow, she had to play nice. Valen didn’t even really dislike Bella, but she was always Bell had always made it clear she didn’t enjoy Valen’s presence. “I thrive on the effect I have on others.” Valen winked playfully.

“Speak of effect on others..” Marco said, gesturing towards the house from the pool where none other than Christopher Rockefeller made an entrance. Valen smirked, cheekily looking away as she finished the rest of her drink. Like his other siblings, Chris received attention just for who he was - his presence was always immediately known by all those attending. Valen couldn’t force herself to look at Rose, she knew she wouldn’t resist to smirk if she saw the girl looking back. Instead, Valen looked to Marco - pushing her now empty glass into him. “Is that a cue?” he laughed, taking her glass into his hand as he got up to leave.

“Hardly, just thirsty.”
Marco disappeared to the bar for refills with Valen left sitting on the edge of the pool. It wasn’t along until the inevitable happened. She wasn’t surprised when Chris managed to come across her, it was only a matter of time. She chose not to comment on his compliment, trying to suppress a smile. He tossed his shirt onto a lawn chair, asking Valen “"How've ya been, V? I feel like you've been avoiding me with how you always seem to be on the other side of the globe when I come back to town."

Well that wasn’t entirely untrue. Most of her recent work had been in Europe, a choice she made because of her need to be out of the States for a while. In most other parts of the world, the modeling and entertaining industry were less intertwined in pop culture than in the states. With her step dad alone, Valen wouldn’t be able to avoid the A-listers - and that’s when you lost the privilege of privacy. Other parts of the world it was easier to disappear into mystery. “Couldn’t avoid you if I tried, papí - just avoiding the incessant media that flocks all the fun people on this side of the globe.”

As much as it killed her to play nice Valen didn’t want to upset Bella any more this early on in the night. She stepped out from the pool, her hair fussing with her hair, loose waves shaking out. There was always that moment where Valen felt the compulsion to ask about his health, how he was doing - but this was a party and Valen was already a few drinks in. Then she had to decide between tempting darkness or walking away, Chris knew things about her - of how far she could go for a thrill, it was addictive when someone knew those parts of you and enjoyed you all the more for it. Usually by now Valen would have pulled one of her sneaking into a coat closet with someone - probably somewhere that you could still hear the party on the other side of the door.

But that was Valen before she had to straighten out, she was too aware of potential consequences. This didn’t stop her from closing the distance between her and Chris to speak into his ear, leaning into him. “But I suggest you to be avoiding me if you want to stay out of trouble,” She whispered, smirking as she glanced over to Bella in good humor. Valen could feel the heat of the glares of anyone who looked their way, it wasn’t uncommon when it came to Christopher - or any of his siblings. She took in a sharp breath as if she had something else to say, still leaning in to speak to Chris. Instead she stopped herself, no good could come from her saying what she wanted. Valen leaned in closer, hand resting on his chest as she gently kissed his cheek, but instead of the quick muah she usually delivered along with a greeting, she lingered. “It’s good to see you, Chris.” She said.

Valen gathered her shorts and shoes, glancing over to the bar. Natalia and Brooke were still at the bar, and she could see that Haven was making her way to the food - undoubtedly to soak the alcohol up a little. “Natalia’s at the bar, I’m sure she’ll want you to come say hi.” She winked to Chris as she walked off, slinking into her shorts as she went.

“Ugh, when’s everyone going to start getting naked?” Valen bitched as she found Nat, reaching behind the bar for a stray cherry, popping it into her mouth with content. Valen had a tendency to claim places were boring her due to lack of nakedness when she just felt uncomfortable and it was easier to pretend she wanted to leave. She ordered a drink and looked to Brooke with a mischievous look, “Sorry, I use nudity to deflect my emotions.” She joked.

Kylie was happy with herself for being able to completely ignore Brooke's presence. The girl was just so lackluster, that tonight, it wasn't worth even hitting her with some below-the-belt comment. She wasn't worth it, even if Kylie was very tempted to jump into the conversation about fashion week and advise Haven that unless she wanted her career to plummet, she should never walk for any of Brooke's tacky clothing lines again. Despite her appreciating her sister's willingness to cover for her later on, Kylie couldn't resist returning to their more typical relationship, just for a minute. If anything, she would reason that Natalia's laugh that was definitely directed in her reaction to the tequila warranted it. "Or I could always just watch Chris' snapchats. I'm sure you'll end up wherever he is tonight, right?" she answered, a half-smirk fitting her face as she watched her sister glance at her phone.

Kylie had no right to tease Natalia about Chris, when it came down to it, because Nat and CJ were actual friends. They hung out frequently, or at least "frequently" in respect to how busy both of their schedules were. As far as Kylie was aware, the two had never actually hooked up, but the rumor mill hadn't ceased, in years, about them hooking up, or being spotted leaving clubs and hotels together. The comment was made, in part, to be annoying, a little, in the sense that she was acting as if she agreed with those rumors, that Chris and Nat were obsessed with each other in more of a friend way, but also to signal that she was watching... because when it came to Kylie, she had far less of a reason to be infatuated with Christopher, and yet, she was. It had been a recent infatuation, really, since growing up, he had always just been one of Owen's annoying friends. It wasn't like he hadn't been attractive back then, but the age difference had somehow seemed larger when she was underage. Last summer, when she turned eighteen, had been around the time that Christopher had started shaping up too, and could be found at the house more with Owen, rather than him just hanging out with Nat, so Kylie began to see him more often as well, too. She hadn't actually seen Christopher in at least a month, so living with him this summer was definitely something that she was looking forward to. She wasn't bold or delusional enough to think that she was going to have a summer romance with someone who already had far too many ties in this house, but that wasn't enough to destroy the crush she had on him.

When Haven yanked her away from the bar, Kylie barely had time to grab her drink, which she had set down while taking the shot, nonetheless leave Nat with any further parting remarks. She was glad that it was finally time to eat, and was going to take her time doing so, too. For one, she knew that the array of barbecue and seafood that was being served was going to be impeccable. Secondly, she actually wanted some food in her stomach so that that shot, and this California Iced Tea in her hand, weren't enough to leave her head spinning before the night even started, and additionally, she didn't want to leave just yet, and she was sure that as soon as their plates were clean, Haven was going to insist that they go. Kylie wasn't opposed to going, knowing that Nat would hopefully still cover for her, and also not caring about her brothers' reactions at the moment. On top of that, she had a feeling that regardless of how many attractive and eligible bachelors there were at this party, Haven was going to be obnoxious and continue to try and hit on Owen and Andre in front of her, and she didn't need that tonight.

When she finally got better control over the death grip that Haven had on her arm, Kylie did her best to steer the girl towards the section of tables that held the platters of seafood. When they got there, she noticed Andre and Bella hovering by the front of the table, and since she needed a plate, she headed in that direction with Haven. "No comments about the ineligible bachelor, okay?" Kylie warned, as seriously as she could, given it was Haven who she was talking to, as they headed towards the couple. "Hi," she said simply, once she was close enough to reach in front of them to grab two plates, one of which was handed to Haven. Even though she knew that Haven and Rose didn't really get along, had it just been Rose there and not Rose and Andre, Kylie probably would have wanted to stay to chat with the Rockefeller. She really did like Rose, who stood for beauty and elegance and grace so effortlessly. It was different than the direction that Kylie typically went for, but that didn't take away from Rose being iconic in that sense. She distracted herself with adding a serving of baked Halibut steaks to her plate, as she spoke. "You look pretty, Rose. All white is... daring." She refused to allow her eyes to return to Haven, and was careful to use "daring" over "dangerous", as to not provoke Haven too much, but she though it was just provocative enough to be entertaining, all white maintaining the validity of the compliment.

Rose smiled at Kylie as she approached the front of the table, she chose to specifically ignore Haven's presence, "Hello Kylie," she said while tucking a stray hair behind her ear. She laughed lightly at the idea of her dress being daring. Honestly the dress was sexy, it molded to her body and accented all of her curves, but daring may be a bit far. She considered the dress to be more classy than anything but she was happy to take the compliment anyways, "Thank you Kylie, you look amazing, as always, but blue looks great on you."

"Will you be staying the whole time?" She asked cocking her head to the side, "You're eighteen so I'm sure there's some club or crazy exclusive party that is calling your name." The statement wasn't an accusation or a way to stir up trouble. She just simply knew, as someone that hung out with the Kardashian side of her family regularly, that they had invites to all the exclusive parties throughout the city, especially on holidays.

"We don't get many opportunities to attend parties together, we should attend some of the parties we get invited to this summer as well," She added squeezing Andre's hand "Kylie you should come with to some of them, you should bring Kourtney too, I haven't seen her since I invited her to bridal fashion week with me too. You should bring the whole clan to one of them."

Her stomach rumbled, silently, but it still brought a slight blush to her cheek. She smirked up at Andre, "I'll be right back I'm going to fix both of our plates, well I'm going to have a server fix both of our plates but you can pretend it was adorably domestic if you'd like."

She walked away to where the servers were handing out food and had them fix Andre's plate with the meat option of halibut steak while hers had the fish option of salmon. She set Andre's plate down with hers in the seat next to where his was before she returned to his side. She smiled politely at Kylie and shrugged lightly, "We should eat baby, but you should let me know. Nice to see you Haven as well"She added offhandedly with another polite smile, this one decidedly artificial.
