Naturally dark brown, long, and rather curly. Dee has experimented once or twice before what with her hair having been honey blonde earlier in the year last year, but once her fifth album dropped last October, she dyed her hair back to its natural color. She's usually keeping it straightened to some degree or with casual waves, but occasionally and especially on her laziest days, she allows for her natural curls to shine through.

When you're thinking of what a young, successful sex icon in the music industry looks like, Natalia dos Santos will always come to mind. After all, she's one of Hollywood's most sought-after celebrities under thirty and it is not hard to see why. Standing at just a smidgen over the average height of women her age, Natalia is held up by rather long, smooth and toned legs from years of ballet. More than that, she was a rather active child and that can be seen in the rather nimble, flexible limbs she makes sure to keep toned every day. After all, she has an image to uphold as a trained dancer and as the one who helps choreographs her own routines, and if there is one skill of hers you know Natalia will respect to the utmost, it is her dancing. By the time she had turned sixteen, Natalia had managed to take after their mother in that she has what is considered to be the perfectly proportionate hourglass figure: a surprisingly full and per bust, a tiny waist emphasized by not so narrow hips, and a rather firm and well-rounded bottom. Natalia takes pride in keeping her lust-worthy curves and even more-so in the smooth, blemish-free complexion her mother notes as "peanut-butter brown," complimenting the almost golden tint to her brown eyes. Long and practically silky dark brown hair cascades down her back in a waterfall of soft curls, a sloping shoulder peeking out through the veil of her dark mane. Almost teasing, much like the woman can seem to be on any given day. There are other instances where her beauty is even more pronounced or those little things she normally wouldn't call to your attention, such as her earlobes being pierced, the double cartilage piercing on her left ear, the piercing on the left side of her nose, and even the freckles that can be found on various surfaces of her body. Something she feels especially self-conscious about when pointed out, but make her oh so appealing to anyone that manages to find them.

"Some birds are not meant to be caged, that's all.
Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild."

Something that Isabel dos Santos and Natalia's manager both seem adamant to ignore or to remain completely ignorant to is the fact that Nat will not EVER bow down easily to anyone's wishes, not anymore. Not like when she was younger. She is rebellious like that. You can't bottle the four winds into a jar or even tie down the clouds, so why would you even think you can control her? Natalia gave herself over to allowing people to control her until she one day chose not to and has been a force to be reckoned with ever since. She may seem rather chilled and ready to hang with the crew any given day, but Talia is no gentle breeze or dreamy zephyr. She is a tempest filled with an inner force and power, which can be a little scary when you first come into contact with her. It's intimidating and intense, which is why she is far more willing to allow her brother to be the public face of the family. She has no need to pretend to like everyone and is rather blunt about things like that. Natalia knows the politics of an upper crest culture decided, however, it is she who decides whether or not she shall adhere to the strict code.

More than that, Natalia has served as a bit of an enigma. The only people that can ever get the most concrete read on her and her motives are her family and even then, that is questionable. She's such a private figure, lending to a desire to keep most of her life to herself. Not to say that she can't be an open person, but she has never fit the bill of just one thing. More specifically, she can never fit just one people. Natalia is the type to make friends with people of all types and backgrounds, but never exactly stay with one or two people. It's not in her nature. She is always on the move - no, she is always ready to go. To just up and leave and go somewhere new, but always have an attachment to the old. To the familiar. It speaks to her being unpredictable and a bit spontaneous, yes, but also to the fact that she is still looking to belong somewhere. Even if she tells you that she doesn't care. She's far more intelligent than most people give her credit, considering the geeky image she shed from her youth, but Nat has always been quietly smart. Always a bit controlled too, even when her mother or step-brother thinks she's being reckless or impulsive. She has calculated the moves she makes, the way in which she talks and walks to the point that they are all like second nature. She never reacts too emotionally, she can't...or won't - it makes no difference. Even with her signs of anger, which is always boiling below the surface and never above, she is smart about her actions. She won't be abrasive like her step-sister, or even her younger self. She'll just speak and she's fucking perceptive that she can wind up saying something that is rather mean despite you thinking she was too chilled to do so.

As stated before and is needed to be reiterated just for those classmates in the back who remember the geeky child from elementary and the beginning of middle school, Natalia is not the same little girl they might remember. No longer is she the girl who didn't know what to do with the curves on her skinny body or the glasses that seemed a bit too big on her little face. No, she is a powerful and confident young woman more on her way to becoming a sex icon than she probably would care to be. Natalia is so sure of her sex appeal, so comfortable and at home with it that it has become a part of her very nature. Everything she does oozes with sensuality to a certain degree, even when she's simply sitting around at home in boy shorts and a top she has stolen from her last flavor of the month. She's seductive without having to run the mile to prove it to you and she owns it. Unlike in her youth, she's not meek and weak. In fact, if you ask her mother, she's an indomitable force with a penchant for getting her own way to some degree. Not that she doesn't work for what she wants. Whether or not you see it makes no difference to Natalia, but she has proven more and more over the years how ambitious she truly is.

Beneath her wall of cool, however, is a young woman who is practically unraveling at the seams and it is almost as if no one even notices what with how quickly she'll be ready to push them away. While her parents might have pushed for their children to be independent, Natalia has taken it to the point that she never allows anyone to care for her. Doesn't see the point. Beneath the confidence lies a deep-set self-loathing that she isn't keen to admitting to. Being hyper-sexualized the second her singing group formed did something to Nat and with her mother focusing all of her affection on her brother and most of her career-focused ferocity on Natalia most of the time, she became the worst kind of internalizer. She will suffer in silence before she allows anyone to help her and she's so stubbornly fixed on seeing herself as nothing more than a sexual object to be ogled at in public, that she could fall apart right now and wouldn't care. And be adamant that no one else would either.

Natalia's greatest fear is not being good enough. Whether it's in the music industry or in a relationship, she's terrified of seeing everything she could want in life but not being good enough. It is why she is willing to play this sex icon role and why she's more comfortable with being the girl you lust after, but not the one you wake up to. She's still getting used to being sincere in hyping herself up and will appear as cool as she can when met with criticism, but she's always holding on to the traumatic bullying she endured back in middle school, which makes it hard for her to be open to deeper romantic relationships despite wanting those connections. Of course, her intimidating display of stoicism and ability to disconcert people leave little room for people to see that. She also fears failing. As anyone will tell you, Nat doesn't depend on people often and still feels wary when her step-father puts money into her account, so she works hard to not need assistance. She's also terrified of spiders, not being able to breathe, and will probably punch you if you ever try to put her in a tight, enclosed space that's dark.

Natalia's most apparent goal is to become one of the leaders of the R&B world. As anyone would tell you, the genre has been lacking, particularly in terms of artists of color with actual lyrical genius and if there's one thing critics have been noting about Natalia is that her manipulation of words is profound. That, combined with her breath control and range, has her only steps closer to accomplishing her goals after three albums. One aspiration that she never actually talks about is taking over the restaurant chain her mother has started in her building empire. Oon Dah is a premiere restaurant in Luanda, Angola and when Isabel dos Santos moved to America, she opened a few in California. When she is not on tour, Natalia takes over it as the head chef, and she wants to one day concentrate solely on the food, combining the cuisine of Portugal, Angola and California.

There are many instances in life when you hear about someone who was born in the lap of luxury and honestly, it's not as impressive as the first couple of times. After all, if you're born when the family already has billions and are simply eating off the golden spoon they're feeding you with, you haven't done anything remarkable. You're just...there. Which is why most people are a bit more excited when discussing Natalia dos Santos' story simply because she didn't just be born. No, she came out belting at the top of her lungs. Granted, that was more wailing than singing, but as her mother would tell you, Natalia was a singer from day she arrived on the Earth. However, she was a dancer from the very beginning. After all, in all of her pregnancies, Isabel complained the most about her little Nat because her baby girl was very active in the womb, consistently, twisting herself into random positions that made it hard for Isabel to even get a good night's rest. But she was the first girl, sweet as can be, and she was loved.

It would be two years later that everything would change for her, but for the first two years of her life, Natalia was the apple of her father's eye. She went everywhere with him, met new artists with him, and was generally everywhere he was. Especially when it pertained to listen to music. While Andre was interested in people and very vocal about that at a young age, Natalia was transfixed with music, particularly slow jams and R&B. That and food, but definitely music at the time. They soothed her during her fits and she would swear to this day that she knew all the words to every song she loved. And unlike what anyone would tell you, she didn't hate it when her father's mistress gave birth to a little girl. In fact, she was excited that she was getting another girl in the family. They could jump Andre when Deanna got older, and she and Andre would keep Dee safe. Then when Nat turned three, her career basically started. She was modeling for one of Dimarco Industries', her Portuguese father's company inherited through the years, clothing line for toddlers and did a few small acting roles, though her biggest one would be in 2000 when she was eight in a television film. In between then and attending a private performing arts school, Natalia would study ballet, tap, and jazz along with a bit of gymnastics. However, when she turned twelve, things began to change for her. She had been experiencing bullying at her private school in Switzerland and when she came home crying one day with actual bruises and more tears than before, Isabel immediately pulled her out. Isabel and Ricardo thought a bit of tough love and fighting classes would smooth things over, but Andre knew better. Fighting classes would ensue, but Nat would be home-schooled from then on. It was also then that she noticed how much her father seemed to care more about Deanna than her. It was a dramatic thought, but it still has stuck with her. It didn't help that it was the year that her mother's affair with her soon-to-be father-in-law was discovered and her parents' hasty divorce. Apparently, her parents' marriage could only survive her father's infidelity, not Isabel's.

So, like her mother did even in the midst of getting married and being introduced to a new family, Nat distracted herself with things that she knew bound herself to her father. Singing and dancing. Of course, Isabel's investment in the label would continue to the point that she had more say in the company than Ricardo, practically taking it out from under him. Natalia would keep up her modeling and walk her first runway for the Boutros line under Dimarco Industries, but in 2005, she would be a part of the second and eventually, most successful girl group on Divide Records. The Stunners would garner both international success and presence, amassing a strong base from the teen and pre-teen demographics. And Natalia was their lead and could rightfully say that she had her father's attention. She wrote one quarter of the songs the group was known for and was the lead dancer in all of their routines. Being compared to the likes of Destiny's Child, the group was known for delving into an array of topics that were both edgy and clean, which fit the demographic her mother wanted them to reach. They would partner with the likes of Justin Bieber, Cobra Starship, and even the Pussycat Dolls with Natalia being featured alongside Nicole Scherzinger. However, after three platinum-selling albums, two world tours, and even walking the runway as a group for a teen brand, the group would eventually dissolve. However, both Deanna and Isabel weren't finished. And as anyone else will tell you, once Natalia picked up that solo mic as R&B crooner, Trinity, the rest was history.

Years later, Natalia is the top-selling, Grammy-winning artist of Divide Records. Slowly but surely, she has squeezed herself out from under her mother's thumb and changed up her sound a bit, more edgier, darker and more suggestive than before. She has produced her own sounds with the help of top notch male producers, a feat which is rather uncommon in female artists. She has featured on issues for LOVE Magazine, Essential Magazine, both Teen Vogue and Vogue, Playboy, and still seems to continue rising in fame. All of the people who doubted her in elementary and middle school are still aghast at the powerhouse vocalist with underground music influences she has become. The sex icon she technically already is. At the same time, not even her family understands how much of herself she has sacrificed. How it's very rare and only with them do you see the softest side of her. How much she can't find it in her to trust everyone because being a sex icon isn't all that her step-sister and even half-sister think it's cracked up to be when everyone wants you to shed off more layers of clothing the older you get. How absolutely worthless she feels sometimes. But of course, Natalia has become so accustomed to shutting her own feelings away from herself, she doesn't even see that the one who is doing the most damage to her own psyche is herself.

Really, Owen had no need to stay at home all day. Every single detail of the party was being taken care of by their party planners, and he knew that things would end up fine. However, despite knowing that the end outcome would be good, he couldn't resist worrying about the little things. Had he spent most of the day out of the house, like some of the others had, he would have just been painfully anxious and brought the mood down, so staying at home and keeping check of everything seemed like his best option. He spent most of the morning and afternoon following up with the housekeepers, who ensured that every room in the home was sparkling clean (despite it being a backyard party), the landscapers, who had polished off all of the outdoor areas, and then the party planners. They insisted that everything was going according to schedule. The barbecue menus that the chefs had would be cooked to perfection, there would be enough food, seating and liquor for everyone, the decor was flawless, and the party would go off without a problem. Still, it wasn't until the party actually started at five o'clock, that he started to relax. It took a few cold beers, and seeing a lot of old, familiar faces, but by six o'clock, Owen was starting to feel more comfortable and in the party mood. As promised, things were going perfectly and as more people started to arrive, it seemed like people really were having a good time. The food was expected to be ready in a half an hour, so for now, Owen found himself mingling among the guests. He knew many of them, but many were also acquaintances of Andre, Natalia or Kylie, and some were even invited by the Rockefellers, Hewsons and Bautistas, so it was interesting to socialize with some new faces too.

"Bianca! Wow, it's so great to see you," Owen exclaimed upon departing from one group of friends, and running into an old friend who hadn't seen in at least a year or two. Bianca was an Italian model who he had worked with back in 2013. Despite being a few years older than him, she had always been incredibly gorgeous and alluring, but she had admirably chosen to take on less modelling jobs in the more recent years in order to focus on her children. Owen would never admit it, but he had always had a crush on the woman, so much so, that he had actually been glad when the news of her divorce arose. He wasn't the kind of guy who would take advantage of that, or even make a move on her, knowing that she had never seemed to be romantically interested in him, but just as a friend, he was glad to see her. "I didn't think you were going to make it. Last I heard, you were back, living in Spain." The pair spent a few minutes chatting, before heading over to the lounge area, that was set up to offer a full service bar. A few of Bianca's girl friends were over there as well, so Owen didn't feel bad leaving her there, now with a Jack & Coke in hand, and heading back over to the main lawns. One side of the lawns was occupied by elegant tables that bordered the huge line of buffet tables that would soon be covered in the fresh food being cooked on the row of grills in the back of the yard, as well as everything being cooked inside of the house. The other side of the lawn was where more people were mingling, likely since the DJ was set up over there as well. The sun was still up, and the night was still young, so Owen wasn't surprised that few people were dancing yet, and most seemed to just be socializing. At least for him, he was sure that it would take a few more drinks to loosen up to that extent, but with the great vibes of the afternoon so far, he was sure that most people would hit that point sooner than later. People were moving in and out of the pool house and main residence as well, which Owen had no problem with. The indoors offered some relief from the California heat, restrooms, a more intimate setting to socialize, and as Chris had insisted, some tables for beer pong and other drinking games. Though this was a casual party, Owen was still used to casual still maintaining some sense of class. It was a compromise that he was willing to make though, knowing that it would probably only add an element of fun to the night.

He had no destination in mind as he floated through the party guests, occasionally stopping for a minute to say hello or respond to the frequent "how've you been?" he got from acquaintances, but when he spotted Haven and Kylie sitting down at one of the tables on the other side of the lawn, with a group of guys standing over them, there was no question that he was going over there. He knew, deep down, that he had no right to just barge in whenever anyone started talking to his sister, but in his defense, he wasn't acquainted to these guys, so that alone was enough justification for him to go over and breakup whatever probably-innocent conversation was occurring. "Wow, looks like we're having fun over here!" he said, with mock exuberance as he placed a hard hand on the back of one of the guys, in the way that a father would purposely squeeze the hand of the guy taking his daughter to prom, ten times harder than necessary. "You guys mind giving me a minute of privacy with my underage sister, and her lovely friend?" he continued, still maintaining that clearly-feigned friendliness. And yeah, he knew that Kylie was no longer underage, but it didn't stop him from using the term quite frequently whenever any attracted males were around.

Under most circumstances, Natalia would have made herself and the side of the lawn that had been the dance floor the best of friends. Dancing and Natalia dos Santos went hand in hand, after all, and she could spend hours on the dance floor if anyone actually left her to her own devices. All she would need was a drink every half an hour and a new dance partner since not many she had had could keep up with her, and she'd have it made. However, it was also an outdoors event, they were in the sweltering California heat that only slightly dissipated as the sun began to set, and unlike a lot of her Cali brethren, Natalia had never been a fan of wearing bathing suits for show. She never lounged around when water was nearby; her family home in Angola presided along the coastal shore, after all. She was even a Water sign, after all. So, with a good group of rappers and DJ friends along with a few of her back-up dancers who had been in the area and bored, Nat had made herself quite comfortable over in the pool area while her brothers made their rounds. Nat might have been the one to post this shindig all over social media; that didn't mean she had to actually entertain anyone.

After a few laps around the pool, the last being her laziest and really just her floating on her back and then re-routing once her head had grazed an edge, Nat was ready to go back to her drink and lawn chair. Well, she was particularly ready for food and another hit of the joint she saw a few of her boys passing around, but only the latter was an option. She still some time before the food would be officially ready. She sighed as she made her way back to the shallow end of the pool, holding on to the railing as she stood back to her full height and ascended the pool steps. Knowing Owen, he was probably already freaking out over what Kylie was wearing or doing, but she was pretty sure both he and Andre would flip their shits if they saw the red one-piece she had slipped on for the evening.

She was pretty sure Crissy would be ready to throw the bitchiest of fits and it was enough to make her smirk. It didn't matter that Nat was already in her early twenties; her showing skin was like committing a crime if anyone asked her eldest brother, even when she was on stage sometimes. And, well, she was showing a lot of skin from her ample decolletage being constrained by the soft material of her swimsuit, to the toned abs barely covered by criss-cross strapping, and to the near backless view the ensemble gave as it led down to her ass. It definitely left little to the imagination. "Yaaaaaaaaaaasssss, sexy!" One of her newest back-up dancers, Katie, exclaimed the second Nat's full body came into view and Nat full-out grinned lasciviously, running a hand through her now curly hair. The natural curls were showing after her exposure to water and Nat was too lazy to actually care. She grabbed the towel Katie held up for her and ran it over her body before gliding it over her hair, attempting to pat it to semi-dryness. "Thanks, babe. Anyone call me?" Nat asked even as she picked up her phone as the girl answered in the negative.

At this point, she was pretty sure Chris was already buried in some random girl whose name he lost after the first drink or at least at the lounge with the former well on its way to happening within the next ten seconds. But it didn't stop her from texting him and her friends to see where the others were.

To: Chris
Don't forget da condoms, babe

To: Val
Headin 2 da bar. Wanna come?

To: Brooke
Where r u?

"Getting a drink," Nat declared and bent over to strap her feet into her Gianvito Rossi sandals from earlier. Throwing the towel back down on the lawn chair, Nat was ready to go before she thought better of it. It still wouldn't offer that much protection due to the semi-sheer material, but she slipped on the black cover-up. Only slightly satisfied, Nat was again ready to go before she thought better of it and gestured to the boys. "Gimme a hit of that," and a second later, Nat was taking a long drag of the blunt she'd been passed, exhaling slowly as she handed it back. The only slightly sweetened marijuana, laced with some kind of grape-flavored product that caused the smoke to come out purple, warmed her. Finally, Nat waved to the dancers before heading to the most populated area of their party, the barest hint of a smile on her face as she passed guests to get to the bar.

Brooke arrived a couple days later than the others, mainly because she had to finish a few things up at her company before hopping on a plane to Beverly Hills. By the time she arrived the party had already started. The female let out a soft sigh as she pushed her way through the small crowd of strangers who were arriving at the party and stepped inside the very familiar home. The brunette carried her things upstairs and found the room she always stayed in every summer in the past and set her suitcases on the bed.

Brooke began to rummage through her suitcase for her black, floral bikini before changing into it and pulled her brunette strands into a messy bun. She stepped in front of the mirror and immediately began to pick and pry at everything she hated about herself, including how "fat" her stomach was. It's time again, she thought as she began to head towards the bathroom. The female closed the door behind her and proceeded to lock it before kneeling over the toilet and slid her left index finger to inside her mouth to the back of her throat. Successfully causing her to throw up everything she had eaten on the plane ride; which wasn't very much to begin with.

When she finished, she stood to her feet and stepped over to the sink. After taking a deep breath she looked into the mirror for a few brief seconds before reaching over to the toilet paper and wiped her mouth. Brooke dropped the toilet paper into the toilet before proceeding to flush it. She took one last relaxing deep breath before unlocking the bathroom door and stepping out.

The female returned to her room and grabbed her bottle of tanning lotion then proceeded to the backyard. She figured she mind as well spend the next couple hours of sunlight getting a much needed tan before the night time took over. As she began to make her way through the crowd, she would say her "hellos" to strangers and acquaintances she hasn't seen in years, or at least what felt like years. After about five minutes of useless conversation with people she hardly even knows, she finally found an empty lounge chair and took a seat before beginning to rub tanning lotion over her body.

It was nice to be back with her friends and family, though she hoped she would run into Natalia or Haven shortly. She missed those two so much, especially Natalia. Though she was a bit nervous about seeing Nat again. For the past couple years she's been feeling weird around her, kind of like she was attracted to her or something. Brooke is completely confused about that situation, but she hopes it would never come up. She would rather keep that bit of information to herself, especially since she doesn't even understand the information at hand.

Just as she got situated, she heard her phone go off, signaling that she received a text from Natalia. The female practically smiled from ear to ear when she saw the message.

To: Nat
I'm in the lounge area getting a tan. Taking advantage of the next couple hours of sunlight. Lol.

Brooke set her phone down on the chair beside her and laid her head back on the back of the chair and closed her eyes, being sure to listen to the commotion around her.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me," Andre hissed, partially to Bella and partially to himself the second the bar came into the view. No, the bar itself was fine - it was when Natalia came into view. Now, Andre liked to believe that he wasn't a complete prude. Was he a bit on the controlling side? Perhaps, but it tended to get the job done and so he saw no reason for there to be complaints. Then again, that was also his arrogance talking. The point was that yes, his sister was twenty-three and yes, she was actually paying her own bills since her money did cover both of her apartments, but still. No man - no matter their age - wanted to envision, let alone actually see in the flesh - their little sister dressed in, well, that. Natalia wasn't even that scantily-clad on stage and she always complained that she wanted her costumes to have less fabric so that she could feel less restricted when she danced. This was an entirely different story.

And he damn sure did not appreciate the less than savory leers some of the other men at the bar - co-workers who acknowledged themselves as his employees more than anything - were giving her.

"Sis," Andre gritted out as soon as he and Bella reached the bar, one of his large hands practically eclipsing Nat's left shoulder. She didn't even flinch; just turned her head to him, glanced over Bella for a second in consideration, offered him an unimpressed eyebrow raise and then turned her attention back to the bartender. "Hey, babe. Can you get me a long island iced tea and two rum and cokes? Extra lime, please." The bartender, because he was professional and a frequent bartender of the family who knew not to entertain Andre's bitch fits - and here, Andre thought she didn't know him well enough, ha! - smiled and set to work on the trio's drinks. Andre smirked. "Seriously? We knocked out a bedroom for both yours and Kylie's closets and out of all of those clothes, you decided on this?"

One thing Andre had appreciated about their younger years was that Natalia had been expressive. He wouldn't say emotional considering the fact that she equated that to fragility, but still - at least then, she wasn't able to turn to him a blank stare. Nat was still notably unimpressed, if her body language said anything, but any other emotion, much to his chagrin? Nonexistent. Interviewers and the tabloids found it to be intimidating. He just found it annoying. "And out of all the flavors you had to choose for the day, you chose bitter and salty?" She delivered with a deadpan. Nat pointedly ignored the frown that formed on his face in favor of at least properly greeting Bella. "Belle," she said, voice warmer for a moment and the smallest lift at the corner of her mouth resembling an actual smile before her attention turned to the phone in her hand. Valen hadn't answered her yet, but Brooke...Brooke brought a lascivious smirk to Nat's face. She could do that.

To: Brooke
Omw

"I'm just saying - " Nat was quick to cut him off. "And I'm just saying, irmão, that I'm grown," the bartender placed the first rum and coke on the counter and added an extra lime slice, which Nat quickly snatched up, toying with the straw between her forefinger and her thumb. "And how about, instead of focusing on what little old me wears for me, myself, and I, you focus on the cute outfit your little deusa bronze wears specifically for you." Natalia didn't spare her brother another glance. She nodded to Bella once as she sucked her straw between her plump lips before sashaying away to meet with Brooke. Andre shook his head and leaned back against the bar, turning fully to Bella. "How the hell am I supposed to survive the summer with that? I'll be gray by August." He was only half-way joking, but still. He didn't know if he could handle Natalia's...unrepentant sensibilities for longer than he typically had to now that they both were focused on their careers. Especially if a certain eldest Rockefeller became involved.

Once Nat made her way over to the lounge, it didn't take her long to find Brooke sitting very comfortably on one of the lawn chairs. Seeing the other Rockefeller made her face soften just a bit, not fully into a smile, but definitely something. For one, no matter what Brooke tried, she wasn't going to get a tan. It just wasn't going to happen. At least, not a perpetual one like Bella. And two, Brooke was one of her friends and it was always good to see her...though...she looked different. Nat couldn't decide what it was, but there was something...just not the same. Either way, before long, she was smirking and walking over, talking as she came. "According to my dear big brother, what I'm wearing is a touch too naughty to be seen in public," Natalia complained, sliding the semi-sheer garment off her shoulders as she approached the brunette. She slunk onto the empty chair beside Brooke, arching her back only slightly - mostly to allow the straps of the probably scandalous one-piece to stretch against her curves in a decidedly not innocent manner - as she crossed her legs before ending in a wicked wink at the friend she probably, definitely should not be flirting with. "Nothing wrong with this old thing, right B?" It wasn't like she followed all the rules anyway.

Brooke continued to lay there for a matter of about ten minutes. The entire time she was thinking about Natalia. Though every once in a while a few thoughts about her twin, Rose popped into mind. She just hated the fact everyone thought Rose was better than her. Of course Brooke never thought anyone was better than the other, but there shouldn't have been any #teamBrooke/#teamBella-Rose in the first place. The female allowed a soft sigh to part from her pink lips as she opened her eyes and reached for her phone just as the twinkling ringtone went off, signaling a new text message.

Brooke unlocked her phone to see a message from Natalia, letting her know she was on her way. She set her phone back down on the chair beside her and proceeded to close her eyes once more. Not anymore than three minutes went by before she heard a familiar voice, such voice coming from her best friend, "According to my dear big brother, what I'm wearing is a touch too naughty to be seen in public," as she heard the words of complaint, she proceeded to open her eyes and sit up. Once her sight was fully focused on Natalia, her cheeks immediately flushed a bright pink. Brooke hoped it wouldn't be all that noticeable, but knowing Natalia, she would most likely notice. "Nothing wrong with this old thing, right B?"

At that moment, Brooke was completely speechless. She didn't know what to say, but regardless she still allowed words to leave her lips. "Oh, um, no. I don't see nothing wrong with it," she answered as she nervously tucked the stray hairs behind her ears. She then reached for the glass of rum and coke that was held in Natalia's slender hands and proceeded to take a sip before returning it back to it's proper owner. "But um, sorry I wasn't able to arrive sooner. Taking care of the last few errands I had to do for my company took me a bit longer than I thought," she stated, hoping it would change the subject. Brooke never minded giving her friend compliments, but it just made her feel a bit nervous when she was unintentionally forced into it. "Oh, and I brought you a couple outfits from my new line you can keep. I'll show them to you later on when we head back inside," she ended.

Okay, for the record, Natalia had never claimed to be a good girl and she knew she was being cruel coming over and lavishing Brooke with all of, well, this. But it never failed to give her this satisfying thrill whenever it seemed like Brooke was taken aback by Natalia, whether it be by something she wore or said. And so, when Brooke failed to have an immediate response to her ingenuous complaint, Natalia's grin was far too self-gratified. She was probably being a horrible friend, but she couldn't help it. Besides, Brooke made it so...easy. And the fact that her cheeks were noticeably flushed against her typical pale skin was like the final nail in the coffin. "Good," she practically purred and didn't say a word when her drink was taken for the other girl to take a drink.

Finally, Nat actually relaxed in the chair, humming in understanding when Brooke explained why she couldn't have it earlier. She may have liked getting a rise out of her friend, but she didn't always push and even Natalia knew a subject when she heard one. So, she situated herself with the smallest of smirks and had the tip of her straw back in her mouth, sucking up a bit of the alcoholic beverage as she listened.

"Sounds good, babe," she said and chuckled lowly. "My mom thinks you're a saint, by the way. You're literally the only person who can get me to wear more than a pair of sweats, which I would do. Any day of the week, actually." It was no secret that Natalia definitely appreciated a less girly outfit. Her fashion choices over the years have become a bit more refined and she had nothing wrong with feminine garments. The difference was that she was casual about everything, when she wasn't being sexy. Sure, she might be wearing pants that sit low on her hips or even a low-cut crop top, but the pants are usually cargo pants or just slightly baggy and she's far more known for sneakers than heels. Brooke was the main reason why she even developed a like for heels in the first place.

"Which reminds me...what is this rumor that I've heard about some new direction you're taking with the line and why am I the last to know?" Nat demanded with air quotations on the "new direction" after a thought and then quirked her lips just so into a pout. "Don't you love me?"

It wasn't that Andre didn't know that Bella had a point. He did, he really and truly did. At the same time, he couldn't help but be concerned with Natalia, even as they both grew older. At the end of the day, when their father failed to be an actual father and wanted to be someone's employer instead, Andre had stepped up as best as he could for a growing child emotionally for his little sister. He knew her pretty much better than anyone. He knew a Natalia that, sure, liked less restriction with her clothing, but who could easily be more comfortable in a pair of sweat pants and a regular scoop-neck crop top. Hell, that was literally what she would wear around the house. But somehow or another, she took the need to be stronger and turned it into some need to be overtly sexual and that baffled him. And if his protective instincts were always on high alert because of it? Well, sue him.

He did acknowledge the validity of his girlfriend's statement when Kylie was brought up. "Kylie...that's an entirely different story altogether," he admitted, checking back to see the bartender placing both of their drinks on the counter. "I'm tempted to take a smoke for Owen whenever those two get into it." He and his brother - considering they've been related for too long for the step part of that to even count anymore - were almost on the same level when it came to dealing with troublesome sisters. Natalia was notably older and on par with them, so Kylie was a different ball game in terms of hormonal teenagers who don't like authority. But the struggle was the same. With Kylie, though, it was a bit...easier to manipulate certain situations. Nat was too secretive to always get the jump on.

Andre also wasn't stupid either. He caught the tail end of Bella's anxiety as she tried to hide it by backing his complaint against Natalia up, which just didn't do. Andre hated when she did that and even as he handed her the Long Island Iced tea Natalia ordered for her, his frown was evident. Not because he was irritated by having to assure his girlfriend, but because something made her doubt herself. And swiftly too. It was rare that he didn't catch it, but it damn sure wasn't easy to get it back to being a subject they discussed or acknowledged once Bella tried diverting his attention. "Hey now," he said lowly, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and pulling her close so that his lips could press against her forehead for a small kiss before staring down at her eyes again. "Don't think I haven't noticed how stunning my girl is. I've been appreciating all day." He gave her an overt leer just to see her smile before winking and taking a drink of his rum and coke. Andre, though, did pointedly ignore the remark about Chris and that was mainly because he didn't care. If the guy wasn't off plowing his way through debutantes and hookers alike, he was probably high on something already. He'd put on a show eventually. Chris Rockefeller always did.

He did, however, look up to see Owen heading over and smiled. "Hey, man! Party getting to you yet?" He knew Owen wasn't exactly the party person that most people demanded of affluent young adults, but the guy could schmooze when needed and he did know how to have a good time. But it wasn't in Andre to not check in on his siblings when the opportunity arose.

"Sounds good, babe," Natalia responded with a low chuckle if she wouldn't have been able to hear if the DJ wasn't beginning to change the track. "My mom thinks you're a saint, by the way. You're literally the only person who can get me to wear more than a pair of sweats, which I would do. Any day of the week, actually." Brooke couldn't help but to let out a soft laugh at her comment about her mother. Come to think of it, ever since her mother found out Natalia was friends with Brooke, she seemed to show a huge appreciation to the small brunette because she tends to pull Natalia out of some situations she shouldn't be in before she puts herself into said situation. Of course Brooke isn't able to stop her from doing everything that wouldn't be such a good idea, but there have been a few times in the past. "I think all your mom is worried about is the fact that you're a woman and she wants you to look more like one on a day to day basis. Though I'm glad you didn't dive into the way she thinks you should be, you should be yourself. You're much happier that way," Brooke responded, partially speaking about her own situation back at home with her own family. But thankfully Brooke was pulled out of her thoughts on that dreaded situation and started talking about her new line that she had been working on.

"Which reminds me...what is this rumor that I've heard about some new direction you're taking with the line and why am I the last to know?" Nat demanded with air quotations on the "new direction" after a thought and then quirked her lips just so into a pout. "Don't you love me?" Brooke let out a soft gasp at her best friend's last words and placed her slender hand over her heart in a playful manner. "Of course I love you, Boo," she responded. "I just wanted to make sure everything was perfect before I brought the new line up to you. I'm thinking about branching out towards men as well. I have a few sketches drawn up that I want to show you," she added with a soft smile.

Brooke stood to her feet and slid her sandals on before turning her attention back down towards Natalia, who was still sitting down. "Come, I'm about to get myself a pina' colada," she stated as she began to make her way towards the bar. As she began making her way over towards the bar, she spotted Rose, Owen, and Andre. All she could manage to do was let out a sigh and send a slight whisper over in Natalia's direction, "I can't believe Owen ditched me for Rose," she stated before approaching the bar, hoping the three of them wouldn't really notice her and if they had she hoped they'd ignore her.

Brooke took a small glance over towards her twin and rolled her eyes a bit as she removed her glance, All white? Real classy Rose, she thought to herself. Once the bartender focused his attention upon her, she gave him a soft smile, "Pina' colada, please?" she stated and the bartender got to work fixing her drink.

On the way to the bar, he passed many familiar faces, but once he actually reached the bar, he found the faces that were more than just familiar ones. A quick scan of the area allowed him to identify Andre and Bella-Rose, and Natalia and Brooke, as being present in the immediate vicinity, and though Owen had come over to the area to get himself a new drink, he was delightfully sidetracked upon seeing his friends there. He probably would have chosen Andre and Bella-Rose over Natalia and Brooke anyway, but he had no choice, when Rose called him over. The scowl that appeared on his face upon seeing what Nat was wearing, or more accurately, wasn't wearing, barely faded from his face by the time that he reached the couple. It didn't matter if Nat was sixteen or thirty-six, single or married for forty years... there was no way that Owen could ever see himself being okay with the way that Nat liked to dress when she was in this "mood". He called it a mood, over a style, because Owen liked to think that she was doing this purposely. Maybe she wanted his blood pressure to reach some sky-high level and send him to the grave prematurely. Maybe she just liked getting under his skin. Maybe she actually did crave the stares of men who Owen was convinced, only wanted her for sinful reasons. While Owen would tell you that he stood by his harshness in condemning Nat and Kylie when they acted and dressed so provocatively, he was also aware that he had a double standard. He didn't think anything was wrong about Brooke, who donned just a skimpy bikini right besides Nat. She wasn't family, though, and even though Owen cared about her too, it just felt different when people were looking at someone who you would always think of as your little sister, no matter how not-little they actually were.

"Hey," he said, upon getting over to where Rose and Andre stood. "'The sisters' are testing my patience but I'm alright besides that. What about you two? Enjoying yourselves?"If anyone had a relationship that Owen respected, it was these two. Bella-Rose had to be one of the most beautiful girls he had ever laid his eyes on, and he had definitely gained a lot of respect for Andre once he somehow won her heart. All it took was raising his empty glass in the bartender's direction for the man, who was familiar with Owen by now, after being hired for many of the family's events in the past, to nod his head in understanding and start on his next drink. His fresh glass of whiskey and coke tasted stronger than the last, but it wasn't unbearably strong, and Owen was good at holding his liquor, so it didn't bother him much. All it made him crave though, was a nice piece of red meat to go along with the ice cold drink. The food would probably start coming out any minute now, and against what he knew to be good manners, he already predicted himself making a plate before everything was fully out, and all of the other guests had helped himself.

When he noticed Brooke and Nat getting up from when Brooke had been sitting a few minutes earlier, and come over to the opposite side of the bar that they were standing at, he looked back to Rose. "Are you excited to spend a few months living with Chris and Brooke again? I feel like you guys ended up all over the map after you two graduated high school. Should be fun to have everyone back under one roof for a few weeks, yeah?" He could have actually done without having to spend two weeks with his own siblings, or at least Kylie, but he would be happy for the families that he thought had it more together than his own.

"Oh my God, no," Kylie objected dramatically, in a manner that was only somewhat playful. She knew that a lot of the time, Haven said and did things to get a reaction out of people. It seemed like she fed off of that, or the energy of it, at least. Kylie didn't think deeply into it enough where she was contemplating whether it was because Haven craved attention, or maybe even control over people's emotions, but she still didn't like it when Haven did it at her expense. Especially when the topic of it all was her own siblings, and Haven trying to speak about them sexually. It was no surprise that she did it about Owen and Andre, but get a few drinks into the model, and it wasn't shocking when she started including Nat in those conversations, too. Kylie didn't dislike Haven for being a sexual person, though, and it actually would have been hypocritical for her to have been so. Everyone liked to make comments about how Kylie's own sister, Kim, founded the family's careers through her own promiscuous behaviors, and it seemed like every day, there was a new tabloid story being conjured about Kylie, herself, going home from a club with some rapper, or model, or athlete, who she had never even met before.

Realistically, she didn't come close to Haven in terms of being so open and free about sex or those topics, despite what other people wanted to say. Sure, she liked to wear some tight fitting outfits that left little for the imagination, from time to time, and she definitely wasn't shy about fashion in that sense, but she wasn't a slut. Despite what Owen seemed to believe, she didn't seek men out just to spend a night with, to piss him off. She didn't want to become pregnant or be some famous guy's arm candy for a month before he cheated on her and moved on to the next. If Kylie was going to end up in a relationship, she wanted it to be a real one, and if she wanted to end up in a sex-only relationship, she definitely hadn't met any guys worthy of that partnership yet. Or maybe she had, and they just weren't worth the stress that she knew would come, especially this summer, living with Andre and Owen... but what was important now, was that no matter how liberal Kylie felt herself to be, she still wasn't comfortable with Haven describing her sexual fantasies when they involved her siblings. "First of all, Andre is not stupid enough to do that to Rose, and second of all, I will kill you if you end up doing anything with either of my brothers. That's just... gross! And yeah, it would definitely cross the 'evil bitch' line, too." Kylie and Rose weren't particularly close, but they were friendly enough that she didn't have any real reason to encourage Haven to do something that would surely hurt the Rockefeller. If there was one Rockefeller who she didn't care for though, it was Brooke. The girl just gave off bad vibes, Kylie thought. She was the knock-off version of Rose, and had no right to think that she was better than anyone, because of that alone. "If you're going to fuck with anyone this summer, make it Brooke," Kylie suggested, a bit deviously, as they approached the bar lounge area. Owen had beat them their by a few minutes, and was now standing with Andre and Rose. Natalia and Brooke were there too, among a fair amount of other party guests, though the area wasn't particularly crowded by any means.

Simply because she didn't want Haven to be around either of her brothers, Kylie decided that crashing Natalia and Brooke's little duo would be preferable over the trio's, so she led Haven to the side of the bar that the two girls stood at, and made sure to stand on the side farthest from Andre, Owen, and Rose. Natalia's outfit, even with the cover-up, was reassuring, since Kylie felt like there was no way either of her brothers could give her shit for ordering a drink when Nat was wearing that, but she wouldn't have really cared anyway. Owen and his incessant need to dominate every aspect of everyone's life was tiring and unwanted, and she wasn't in the mood for it today. "One California iced tea, please," she said, when a finger raised in the air caught the familiar-looking bartender's attention. Only acknowledging Brooke and Nat now, and actually not even acknowledging Brooke personally, Kylie turned to Natalia with a smile. "I can't believe you actually wore this. I mean, I totally love it, though," she said genuinely, as she brazenly sent two fingers to grab one of the straps that crossed over Nat's torso and gently allowed it to snap back against her sister's stomach after she pulled it slightly, to feel the damp material. "Haven and I might ditch in a little while. Do you think you can cover for me, if we do?" Seeing Owen again had left her doing a complete 180 on the thought of ditching this party for another one, because now, especially with the cold drink in her hand, she was feeling like maybe she could get into the mood to party tonight.

Natalia didn't bother acknowledging Brooke's opinion on Isabel dos Santos. She and her mother were...better. It was the safest explanation that Natalia could give without delving deeply into years of repressing emotions and generally not having actual, emotive conversations that had nothing to do with her music career. She didn't bother bringing certain things up and while Isabel notably has been seen trying in these last two years, Natalia just didn't see the point. What's done is done and the fact of the matter is that Nat doesn't take into consideration everything Isabel might want for her anymore, not unless it has something to do with a photo shoot, upcoming performance, or anything publicity related. Even then, she mostly asked for everything to be delegated to Andre. As annoying as he could be, between the two, Andre was more of Nat's handler than her mother ever had been. But that was also her allowing the woman more room in her thoughts when she normally resided nowhere near them, which was why she chose not to say a word and instead, sipped on her rum and coke.

The corners of her mouth did lift, however, so that her face softened notably at Brooke's explanation about her future enhancements to her clothing line. She could help but act playfully appeased, placing a hand over her own heart in mock satisfaction before chuckling just a bit. She could have done without going back to the bar, considering she had only come from there a moment ago, but Nat stood anyway when Brooke decided she wanted a pina colada. Besides, as much as Nat was slurping down the drink in her own hand, a refill was bound to be the next move on her agenda. Or the dance floor. The DJ was spinning a few island vibe tracks that Natalia could feel her joints naturally getting into the mood for as they headed to the bar, hips undulating just-so to the catchy offbeat of reggae music blasting from speakers and pulsing through the ground. Nat hummed to herself faintly at Brooke's indignant hiss in her direction over being ditched by Owen for Rose, since...well, she never did pick apart Brooke's jealousy over Owen and Rose's friendship. Perhaps it was because he was her brother and she didn't really want to know what he could get into with one of her best friends, Nat didn't know. But it was obvious that both were...uncomfortable, if you will, in one another's presence now. Which was far from normal, given their previous intimacy. Then again, Nat hadn't truly picked it apart yet. Just...observed.

While Brooke went ahead and requested her drink, Nat leaned against the bar rather comfortably, using the surface as an arm rest so that she could rest her head on her hand as she sipped her alcohol. A beat later and she was grinning at Brooke. "And don't think you're slick, miss. Since some people like to abandon their friends and move across the country, you owe me a dance tonight. Actually, a bunch of dances." Nat was only half serious, but she wasn't against dragging Brooke to the dance floor. And if she happened to get the benefit of both seeing her friend dance and the girl actually have some fun, well, where's the problem in that? "You might go home in August or July, but until then, you're mine, Miss Rockefeller. Just wait until you finish that drink." It was only after she finished speaking that Nat turned her gaze for a second only to see Kylie and Haven appear. Nat dipped her chin in acknowledgement to the other girl before smirking at her sister. She didn't even flinch at the lash against her skin the gentle pull of the strap gave her, but she did raise an eyebrow at Kylie as if challenged. "How else am I gonna drive Owen crazy enough to make him want to leave the house for longer than an hour? You know his temper tantrums can go." She ended up saying, swiping a hand through her still damp hair. "Do what you will...just don't do anything I wouldn't." Which, if they were being honest, given her track record, wasn't much. But still, Nat couldn't help but say it with a small smirk.

With his arm still around Bella's shoulders, Andre didn't allow his gaze to drift to where Brooke was. For one, there was no doubt that Nat was with her. If the songstress wasn't with Valen, whom he had yet to see, or He Who Shall Not Be Named, then she was going to be with her favorite of the Rockefellers. And Andre didn't need to entertain his thin patience with his sister's insistence to try him. Two, because he knew Bella. Her and Brooke's relationship was strained for years and it was the first thing Andre picked up when they moved to California. Natalia had pointed it out when she had gotten him alone, but it was Andre who was able to understand just a bit better. At least, from Bella's side of things. So, instead of turning to acknowledge his girlfriend's sister and his own sister, Andre squeezed Bella's shoulder gently, in comfort, as he answered Owen.

"Nothing I'm not already familiar with," he acknowledged, his understanding for Owen's frustration with their siblings prolific and inexorable. Andre hadn't had the chance to talk or see much of Kylie today, but he had given her a warning yesterday about behaving. Nat was only slightly starting to rub off on her. Kylie was beginning to take on her stoicism. "But...we're-we're good here. I know I could eat though." He exclaimed jokingly, to keep up at least the less tense air that had been present before Brooke came over. But then Owen had to mention her. And well, Chris, and since Andre hardly allowed Chris to sour his mood to a certain point, he had to reason that the true cause of Bella's outburst was simply about Brooke.

Andre had to drink a bit of his rum and coke before speaking, but he rubbed Bella's arm soothingly as he did so. "This is going to be good, babe. You know that," he reasoned. "It'll be time for you and Brooke and even Chris to catch up, and come on! Nat's actually home and not running off to god knows where, I took off for awhile, and we're all going to have a good time. Besides, how much drama do you really think anyone's going to want to have if we're too busy jet-setting off to Croatia or something?" Of course, that was his disingenuous optimism showing. There was going to be drama. Especially since Nat was already not in the mood to acquiesce to his request for her to behave, Chris was going to actually be in his house, and Kylie and Haven were more than likely going to drive them all crazy. At the same time, this summer was meant to be for fun and damn it, Andre promised himself that he was going to have the time to enjoy himself. And that included no breakdowns because his family and friends decided to drive him crazy.

Brooke immediately reached over to the alcoholic beverage when the bartender set it down before her. Her pink lips went around the straw as she took a few sips, just to be interrupted by Rose making her presence known to Brooke. Of course Brooke already knew he sister was in the area, but Rose just had to be sure Brooke knew. The two of them always seemed to have that bit of unsaid competition between the two of them. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to try and find some time to spend with Rose alone, try to at least go back to acting sister-like instead of worse enemies. After all, it wouldn't hurt. She glanced over to the twin and gave her a fake smile before returning her attention back over to Natalia to hear her talking about "abandoning" her. Brooke sighed and nodded her head at her best friend's words. The brunette understood where she was coming from, so of course she would spend most of her time with Natalia. After all, if it weren't for Natalia she wouldn't have come back to Beverly Hills this summer.

The female sighed when she noticed Haven making her way over with Kylie at her side. Now Brooke would never go as far as to say she hated Natalia's sister, but she was never the biggest fan either. The female just couldn't seem to stand the snarky comments that always seemed to be pointed in Brooke's direction when the Jenner was around. Haven on the other hand, the two of them have worked together a lot in the past and eventually became pretty good friends. At least in the professional aspect. The two of them never really spent very much time together outside of the fashion industry.

Brooke ignored Kylie's intention on making her feel irrelevant and directed her words towards the blonde. "Good to see you again, Haven. How have you been?" she stated as she sipped from her pina colada once more. When Brooke overheard the words that slipped from Kylie's lips, she had a feeling the two of them would most likely get themselves into some sort of trouble but that was none of Brooke's business. It kind of upset her that Haven was friends with Kylie, but there was nothing she could ever do or say about it. Just because she was never all that fond of Kylie, it didn't mean that Brooke had the right to tell Haven who she could and couldn't be friends with. After all, the two of them weren't even close enough to have that bond, not that it would matter either way anyways.

As usual, the Bautista’s were running late. The siblings had spent the previous few weeks together with their father in their home in Argentina. It had been lush with towers of libations, delicate gourmet treats and latin passion. Even with a majority of her time spent covering for Santi as he trooped around with the Ambassador, Valen managed to find a good time - be it with the equally privileged and reckless youth among Argentine most elite, or in shamelessly flirting with her fathers friends. Valen didn’t mind babysitting anyhow, carelessness and fun was a luxury she could only admire from afar.

Their family had their own jet, so when Valen woke up puffy from the champagne and Santi still hadn’t washed off the shame from the night before, the siblings decided to postpone. Besides, they liked to be a little fashionably late - it helped with their image. So the two tore apart their luggage to have their travel assistant repack later in search for their outfit for the party. Neither of the siblings had been in the States for months, and every time they came back it was like everything would change.

“I’ll choose your outfit.” Said Valen as she rummaged through Santi’s things, throwing a maroon pair of swim trunks his way and a soft plain white tee. Santi didn’t mind, Valen was the fashionista between the two of him. He probably would have worn the first pair he found, so he changed without objection and returned to scrolling through Instagram.

“Hey look,” He said, showing Valen his phone. It was a photo by some model, maybe Stephanie something or other. It was at the pool party the siblings were to enter, Valen squinted to recognize the faces in the background. When she saw Nat’s exotic face posted at the bar, a smile split across her face, then she recognized the entire Rockefeller clan. Predicting this would happen, Santi laughed. “What? Now you’re going to be on your best behavior?”

Valen mumbled under her breath, returning to her mission to pick out her outfit. It wasn’t that she didn’t like the Rockefeller’s, but when they were revered as this golden family and Valen could tell the lot of the weren’t her biggest fan - it made things uncomfortable. Her family and friends were better known for hanging out in the seedier part of fame, Valen couldn’t help but to feel a twinge of inferiority in their presence.
A voice overhead announced they would land within the hour, Valen turned their travel assistant their father had assigned to them. “Carajo, Florencia - donde estás mis trajes de baño? Como puedo ir a la fiesta de piscina sin mi trajes?” Valen spit out the words like venom, she had the tendency to take her frustrations out on the poor people her father sent to babysit her and her brother. “Por la concha de su madre, Florencia - hacé su trabajo mientras que lo tienes. Con suerte hay poco tiempo con eso si yo tengo un parte.”

Florencia offered little of a reaction as she reached into the travel bag that Valen had left untouched so far, opening it to reveal a whole assortment of swimwear for Valen to wear. A smug expression from the woman and Santi laughing from behind her was enough to send Valen into a fit, taking the carry on into the bathroom with her. Santi looked at Florencia from over his phone, quirking his eyebrow. She gave a cheeky expression and returned to her tablet, undoubtedly planning out any foreseeable chaos that the siblings might cause the upcoming week. She was helpful that way. Valen returned before the plane began to descend, fashioning her swimsuit as a leotard with destroyed high rise shorts and a lacy kimono.

“Really have to balance that line between looking good but not looking like you had to try that hard.” Santi joked as Valen snarled at him, bending over to fasten the clasp of the heel around her ankle. The bump of the plan hitting ground stopped Valen from replying, instead they primped themselves. “Florence, will there be transit from the Airport already arranged?” Santi asked, Florencia nodded.

“Right on the ground, sir.”

“Very good.” Valen said as she smoothed her hair.

The siblings could avoid customs and all that due to their diplomatic status, also due to simply who they were. They left for the party from the plane, Valen’s noticed a text from Nat. Wincing, Valen responded quickly, she hated leaving Nat alone to deal with people - there were so few left with likable attributes.

To Nat:
Hey bb, be there in a bit. Still on ARG time.

It was always better to arrive to a party later anyhow, especially after 9 hours of napping and drinking mimosas on a private jet before hand. When they arrived to the home, everything was already in full scale. Santi immediately was pulled aside by a past fling of his, a skinny morena with honey colored eyes. Valen rolled her eyes inwardly, Santi always needed to have the most interesting characters as a notch on his headboard. Assuming most of her people would be at the bar, Valen was none to surprised when she saw Haven and Nat at the bar - along with Kylie, the Rockefeller girls, Andres and Owen. She smiled to herself at the incestuously knit little web between the families, it was only inevitable to find themselves all together.

“Neña!!” Valen greeted Nat affectionately with a hug and a peck on her cheek. “Why does it have to be like a chase around the world for me to find some time with you nowadays?!” Unfortunately, due to Valen’s culture growing up, she couldn’t sneak away from the group without another word - she had to greet each of them with a kiss on the cheek and a small greeting.

“Ladies! So nice to see you here.” She said, giving them both a peck on the cheek, doing the same to Andres and Own, “You two as well, gentlemen - always a pleasure.”

She gave Haven a little hug, “Don’t worry, I’m not here to ruin the party - I promise.” then turning to Kylie as well to peck her cheek. “Baby girl - hey! Is Kendall here as well?”

She hated it, but there was no way she was going to walk up without saying hello to anyone, it was against her nature - friendly or otherwise. Before she hadn’t had time to read the situation before she barged in, now in retrospect she could sense the tension. Looking to Nat with an expression of both amusement and exasperation, she turned to the bartender. “How about a round of shots - yeah? Vamos, my treat.” She said cheekily, aware it was an open bar. Although she knew this did nothing to deflect the opinion many had of her as a party girl or whatever - she didn’t care anymore. There was no sense in worrying of trying to convince people they’re wrong about something that isn’t their business anyhow.

“So, shots?”
She asked again, grinning to Haven, Kylie and Nat - assuming at the very least she had those girls to join her.

Haven returned the nod of a greeting that Nat gave her, and offered Brooke a quick wave too. "Hey girlie! I've never been better," she said with a playful smile, raising the drink in her hand. "What about you? Prepping for Fashion Week in September?" She had no problems with either of the girls, and socialized with the both of them fairly regularly, but not in a very intimate way. With Brooke, their interactions tended to revolve around work, and with Nat, it was primarily play time, when they socialized, but them hanging out was often more coincidental, than planned. They weren't the type to plan to meet up at clubs or venues, because they just weren't that close, but if it happened, they were content with tossing back a few shots together and posing for some pictures. Because of that alone, Haven liked Natalia. She seemed easygoing, and easy to have fun with, and Haven was quite happy with just leaving their relationship at that depth level. It was probably best that way, because then there were no weird feelings with Haven pulling Kylie into some scandalous situations, since the two of them weren't close enough where Haven felt like she owed Nat anything related to boundaries there. When the singer agreed that she would cover for Kylie, Haven's grin widened, but she was already halfway through ordering herself a California Iced Tea, to match Kylie's, so she didn't comment on it automatically. Her drink now still had at least a quarter of it left, but it tasted too non-alcoholic, and she didn't want to waste time on something that now tasted only of a mixer. When the drink was ready, she left the old one on the counter and refocused her attention on socializing.

Valen's arrival, and the way she had greeted both sets of the group, had somehow physically caused the two sets to drift closer together in the greetings, so Haven had a better view now, of Ariana, who seemed to storm off after Valen's arrival. It wasn't too alarming to Haven, who really didn't care about Ariana at all, but it wasn't difficult to notice it. She wondered what was up with it, for only half a minute, before mentally shrugging. Ariana's disappearance gave her a better view of Own and Andre, and that wasn't something Haven was going to complain about. "If I can get Kylie to live a little, we might go find Kendall later. You should come, I feel like I haven't actually hung out with you in ages," she said, jumping in to answer for Kylie when Valen brought up Kendall. "I'll do a round, but only if they're tequila," Haven agreed, a devilish tinge tainting her smile. Most people found tequila to be the most interesting of liquor choices, and Haven was no exception, finding the "one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor" saying, to be more than accurate on more occasions than she would actually admit to. "Kylie, you're taking one too," she asserted, as if it wasn't optional, before glancing at Nat and Brooke. "Tell me that you two are game, too. I know you can do shots, Nat," she said, faintly laughing at a flashback, before looking towards Brooke more directly, "But you... well, you still have to prove yourself to me on this front, Miss Brooke! Take one with us!"

Brooke was glad to hear that Haven was doing alright, though the moment the blonde brought up fashion week, she got a bit excited. "What about you? Prepping for Fashion Week in September?" Brooke gave a smile as she responded, "Very. I've been working on a new line I hope will be ready before fashion week begins." The female stood there in silence as the other three girls went on talking among themselves. It was true Brooke was always more of an observer than a conversationalist, but that never seemed to bother her. At times in the past it seemed to make Natalia worry about her a bit, but that was just the way Brooke has always been. Rose was always the more charismatic out of the two of them. Brooke liked her privacy and she didn't see anything wrong with that.

When Valen made her appearance, she was a bit shocked that she even acknowledged her. The two of them weren't exactly enemies, because Brooke never really hated the Bautista, the two of them just had a rocky relationship was all. Mainly because of Valen's relations with her older brother, Christopher. At that moment she began to wonder where he was, but it didn't seem to bother her all that much because it was typical of Christopher to run late to events such as this.

The moment the subject of shots was brought up, she was practically ambushed by Haven to join them. Now Brooke isn't against having shots and taking in a bunch of alcohol, but in the past a few things were brought up that she would rather keep to herself. When she got too much alcohol in her system, there was no telling what Brooke would end up doing or saying to anyone. Any person in the area could be the next victim of Brooke's words or even violence. Hopefully Brooke wouldn't freak out like she did in the past. Maybe she would be able to keep herself under control more now that she is older.

"But you... well, you still have to prove yourself to me on this front, Miss Brooke! Take one with us!" Brooke stood there for a moment in silence giving it a thought before answering, "Of course. Why not? After all you only live once, right?" she stated with a chuckle.

Valen smirked as Bella threw a fit in her arrival, protesting Valen’s greeting and storming off - expecting the rest of her group to scurry after her. “Te lo juro, neña - no quiero tocar vos mas que es necessario.” She mumbled under her breath, waving as she smiled after the woman. “Caio, amor!”
Quirking an eyebrow at the boys left behind, Valen’s lips pulled into a sensuous smirk. “I’d probably run after her if I were you, wouldn’t want the darling all upset because lil’ ol’ me ruined her good time!”

Valen couldn’t pretend not to understand the immediate rejection from the Rockefeller golden girl. It wasn’t like powerful WASP families to relay sensitivity to a culture other than her own. It almost empowered Valen when the dark haired minx slinked away. Valen knew that her mere presence could send the woman into a rage - it was downright delightful. Despite Bella’s attachment to Chris, Valen paid no note of such care to find Bella immune to her Valen’s forms of manipulation to start a rise. All she ever had to do was be polite, be herself - and it could drive the primmest of all the Holywood maidens into a frenzy.

Albeit, she felt a sense of responsibility to Bella. Valen ignored the spoiled girls plight for attention. turning to the rest of the group as Have cheered on the lot. “Tequila or no, I just want something to settle this weird plane buzz I’ve got going on.” She hailed the bartender to serve each of the partakers their drink. “Add a rum and diet to that, please.” Valen said with a wink, passing out the shots to the others.

“Cheers.” Valen enthused, grabbing her cocktail from the bartender, already bored with the situation. It was time for a new place, with a new collection of people. “I don’t know about you ladies, but I see endless mystery ahead - I hope you join in.”

Typical in her fashion, Valen slinked into the crowd, hoping some of the girls would follow her - but mostly following the tide. These were the type of moments where she’d happen across Lenny Kravitz or Leonardo DiCaprio - in the drift of parties. That’s what they were all doing there anyhow, networking as much as they could. Everyone knew someone who knew someone who had some project you’d be perfect for. So that’s what Valen did. She made herself known to the people she wanted to know and somehow ended up at the edge of the pool, spliff in hand and staring off into the distance. There were a few others wading in the edges of the pool. it was all to tempting.

Slipping from her shorts and kimono, Valen slid into the heated pool, retiring the spiff in her wake. Treading water, looking above, Valen knew others would see her and judge, but honestly she just wanted to take a dip in the pool. As someone in her position, when everything she did was a question of her character, why not just do whatever the fuck you wanted anyways? She waded in the center of the pool for ages until the herds of people began to dive in, clothed or otherwise. In a predictable manner, Valen waded to the edge of the pool, sitting in the corner with her legs still immersed and hair slicked away from her face.

Lately, it hadn't been as rare as it had years ago, but Nat and Kylie getting along was definitely something that Kylie wished Owen was there to witness. He was the one who liked to dramatize any bit of conflict into the family, as if Nat wearing that bathing suit was an attempt at her tearing the family apart, or Kylie making some remark about one of Nat's songs was as horrible as her ordering a hit on her sister. At the same time, him being there to hear their conversation wouldn't have been ideal for her, so she just appreciated the moment on her own, making an attempt at reminding herself that this was why she needed to be nicer to Nat. She was nice to her (usually), but there were times (even if Kylie wouldn't admit it), that she was a brat just for the sake of being a brat. Her thirteen-year-old sense would reappear, and she would be unnecessarily sharp with her step family, usually only because her mother had gotten further than Kylie normally allowed, on that particular day. It was something that she was still learning to fight, honestly, and this recent family drama wasn't making it any easier. She nodded at Nat's catch, that she just only not do anything that Nat wouldn't do, which didn't feel restrictive at all, considering what Nat was known for. Kylie knew that a night out with Haven was going to spell trouble, but she wasn't feeling too reckless tonight. She didn't want any more public drama than she already had, and leaving the party early would be enough private drama to piss off Owen and Andre, for her liking.

Kylie probably would have declined the shot invite that came upon Valen's appearance, but Haven insisted, and so, she felt inclined to take one too. Normally, even if the tequila was top-shelf like this was, Kylie would have wanted to undergo the whole salt-tequila-lime routine, just because she struggled with tolerating tequila's taste, smooth or not. However, this liquor was smooth enough that they probably didn't expect them to need it with it, so when Kylie's came to her, she didn't wait to see if Nat or Brooke were going to take one too, and just tilted her head back, and poured it down her throat. The aftermath involved a little bit of coughing, as the liquor burned her throat as expected, but it all stayed down, which was something that she was proud of. Straight liquor wasn't her thing, and she knew she needed to stick to mixed drinks for the rest of the night. The California version of the Long Island Iced Tea probably wasn't the smartest mixed drink choice, considering that it contained curacao liqueur, rum, tequila, gin and vodka, but she had already ordered it, and she wasn't going to waste it. Besides, it didn't taste nearly half as bad as the shot had.

"Are you really going to stay here all night?" Kylie said, turning back to Nat, somewhat skeptically, after her empty shot glass had been taken by the bartender. She knew that this party at their house was actually going to be a lot of fun, and was probably one of, if not the, most star studded party of the holiday, but she expected Nat to be a little rebellious too. And she didn't trust that her sister wasn't holding out on better plans, that she would want to sneak out to too, over wherever Haven was going to take her. Then again, if she planned on bringing Brooke, the party was probably automatically going to be a dud, so maybe she wouldn't want to go after all.

Natalia had honestly focused on drinking the rest of her rum and coke, so she had ignored her phone when it vibrated in her hand. It could have been Chris and she honestly would have left it alone until her next drink. Besides, she was too busy internally laughing - and the only outward indication of her internal disposition was in the form of a smirk - at how absolved Kylie was in her desire to remain passive-aggressively hostile towards Brooke. The pair's relationship was always amusing to her and Nat, because she never claimed to have a single ounce of good in her, entertained herself whenever it just so happened that she managed to get both girls into one room for longer than five minutes. As much as she liked a drama-free and relaxed environment, it was Natalia dos Santos. It wouldn't be her if she wasn't drawn to a little bit of mischief.

And she wasn't too upset about not having checked her phone because Valen had finally arrived and Nat didn't even try to evade the hug, comfortably leaning into it and pecking Val on the cheek in response. "Come on now, babe. You know I've gotta keep you on your toes. That's how we work," she replied with a grin, not at all ready to turn down a round of shots when Valen called for them. She smirked at Haven's reminiscent look her way, remembering this one time when she had done five shots back to back. Not that she had actually counted, but it had been an exhilarating rush at the time and the world might have tipped over for like five seconds after the last one, but it was totally worth it when it felt like her body could go for hours and hours on the dance floor. But she wasn't going to be bringing that memory up. It seemed like Andre had super hearing or something every single time she did, and he always came running with that disapproving glare. Nat chuckled at Brooke's exclamation of only living once and downed the shot she was given without hesitation, barely wincing anymore at the way the smooth liquid tingled in her throat. It didn't burn like it used to during her first ride in the drinking rodeo, which was why she couldn't help just laughing a little at Kylie's obviously inexperienced drink.

Not that her younger sister needed to be gaining any experience at all, but Nat also wasn't going to be the one to take the fun out of everything. "Fill me up, babe," Nat called to the bartender and set her glass on the flat surface, turning back when Val decided to disappear and Kylie had turned back to her. Nat hummed to herself softly at Kylie's question, doubting that she was going to tell the girl all of her invites for the evening. There were some places even Nat knew not to tell Kylie about and besides, she was not about to have Andre and Owen down her throat for Kylie knowing about underground parties with people wearing far less clothing than what Nat currently had on. "You know me, Kyles. There's always a back-up." She chose ominously, running a hand through her hair and checking on her phone. "I'll let you know if anything comes up." As she waited for her drink and to figure out if she was going to the dance floor next, Nat text Chris. If she was making any plans for the night, he of all people was going to be a part of it.

Chris:
Where u at babe? Who else am I gonna do body shots wit?

"Babe, you didn't really think we were staying in Twinkle Town all summer did you?" Andre just had to ask with a grin, a subtly appreciative nod Owen's way for diverting Bella's attention. The last thing he needed was her focusing on the negative, particularly as they pertained to her siblings. As far as he knew, Nat had Brooke and could distract her easily. All she had to do was get Brooke focused on her wardrobe and honestly letting loose, or even flirting with her - which was still something Andre figured he needed to question his sister about in terms of her intentions - and the younger Rockefeller was golden. A few scathing looks aside, he didn't think Brooke would be as much of a problem as Bella seemed to believe. Chris on the other hand, Andre just didn't trust him. Andre also didn't like him, but that was neither here nor there. All they needed to be thinking about was having fun. The other...issues could take a backseat. Besides, who was going to really be trying to rip baby hairs out of scalps if they were too busy sipping on mimosas at breakfast in Nice?

But of course, that must have been him being just a bit too optimistic. Andre was a realist; he didn't focus too much on trying to think happy thoughts and all of that. But he also didn't believe in things like allowing one person to notably get under your skin. With Chris, he was able to either play it cordially for the sake of his girls or go on as if Chris wasn't even a factor in his life. Which he wasn't, under most circumstances. However, Bella was a bit more malleable, it seemed, when it came to Valen. The second the svelte artist came into view and showered everyone in a polite display of affection, Bella was shoving away from her and storming off, a wave of barely restrained hostility that had Andre pinching the bridge of his nose. And Val didn't help, no matter the small soft smile curved upon his lips that he managed her way, with telling him to go after her. Sighing softly, exasperated internally, he glanced at Owen. "Wish me luck," he said to Owen, taking a strong drink of his rum and coke, clapping his brother on the shoulder before glancing at Natalia, who only raised an eyebrow from afar. Shaking his head, Andre headed back towards the house, shaking a few hands with clients and partners alike.

It didn't take Andre long to find Bella, petulantly munching on strawberries with a vehement hostility in her form where she stood. One of his eyebrows rose, questioning, as he headed over to her. He gave her a pointedly probing stare as he inquired, "You do know that the real food is going to be outside, yes? I mean," he stepped closer to her, purposefully not bringing up her display from outside, in favor of wrapping inconspicuous arms around her waist so that her back was pressed against his front comfortably, "strawberries are nice and sweet, but there's also going to be seared scallops in a jalapeno vinaigrette and pan-seared salmon in a brown butter sauce." Andre smirked at himself for using Bella's love for seafood against her, but it was also his way of getting her to talk and also not hide away from Valen just because she obviously didn't like her. It would mean there was no point of them all being together for the summer if she couldn't handle the girl's presence; she wasn't going anywhere, after all. "Are we really going to hide away for the rest of the day, babe? Because of Val?"

Brooke reached for the shot glass and tossed her head back allowing the room temperature liquid to go down her throat. The burning sensation was one that she was quite used to, given her experience back in New York with the alcohol. That was one thing she was going to try to keep to herself. Most of the time when she was alone, she resorted to drinking, mainly because she had nothing better to do. The female set the glass down on the bar and signaled for the bartender to give her a refill before taking that shot as well. At that moment she figured she would find herself a permanent spot at the bar, at least for the next few minutes and took a seat on one of the bar stools.

The female let out a sigh as she sipped from her pina colada and listened to the conversation going on between Nat, Kylie, and Haven. Deep down Brooke hoped that Kylie would just go ahead and go somewhere else. She didn't care where, just nowhere near her. The young Jenner hadn't even been in close proximity to Brooke for more than five minutes and her presence was already beginning to upset her. But she wasn't going to give Kylie the pride in causing a Rockefeller to just walk away from her within five minutes. So instead Brooke began to glance around the area, taking in the faces she knew and the ones she didn't.

The female began to hum to the song that was now playing before finally deciding to stand to her feet and walk away. It may not be what she wanted, but putting herself through the annoyance of being around Kylie really wasn't something she was in the mood for. Especially given the fact that the brunette now had alcohol running through her system. Today of all days she wanted to keep herself as calm and collected as possible. If she were going to blow up at anyone, she at least wanted to wait until tomorrow. Right now, all the Rockefeller was focused on was having a bit of fun in her life, something that she hasn't done in a while.

After a few minutes of walking through the crowd and mingling with a few people who stopped her, she finally made it over to the hot tub and slowly stepped into it. The slight sting of the heated water made all of her stress slowly dissipate and become obsolete. Brooke took a seat in the hot tub and let out a relaxing sigh as she closed her eyes and began to sip from her alcoholic beverage once more. Maybe all she needed was a bit of space.

Christopher was running late for the Fourth of July party, but running late was one of his talents. Deadlines and being prompt weren't exactly priorities for him, and since he knew that this was a big event where his presence - or lack thereof - wouldn't be depended on to an extreme, he didn't feel the need to let anyone know that he was busy that day. He had stopped by Owen's house two days prior to drop off his bags, before taking a short flight to the San Diego area, where he had a photo shoot on one of the private beaches in the area. It was only something that took a couple of hours, but Chris opted to spend two nights there, hanging out and partying with a couple of the female models who he had been shooting with. It was nothing crazy, just some low key house parties that wouldn't end up in the tabloids, but it was also enjoyable enough that he didn't rush back upstate on July 4th. He had actually missed his early morning flight, and had to wait for one that left in the mid-afternoon. It was a quick flight, but he followed that up with a stop at his family's beach home in Newport Beach to grab a few more items he wanted for the summer, and then drove himself to Owen's house.

Upon arrival, he found that the party had certainly went off without a hitch, regardless of his absence, and for that, he was nothing short of glad. However, when he finally turned his phone back on after the car ride, he saw an array of texts from his friends and family. Natalia's made him smirk, but since he was already on the property, and now through the house and headed into the yard, he didn't feel the need to answer. He would find her instead, and let off his smartass remarks directly to her face. He assumed that she was going to be at the bar, and he would have been right too, but as he headed outside, he spotted Andre and Rose a few yards ahead of him. It didn't look like they were headed towards the bar area, but instead, the food tables that were being lined with trays of food that Chris could smell, even from where he stood. That in itself made him want to follow them, but at the same time, he wasn't ready to deal with that.

He was in a good mood, and it wasn't like he thought his sister or Andre would ruin that good mood, per se, but Rose's texts had indicated that she was "concerned" about him, and he wasn't in the mood for the questioning that he was sure would come, upon seeing her. "Where were you?!", "Why did it take so long for you to get here?", "You know it's not polite to show up late with no warning, don't you?" were all very possible conversation starters when he envisioned how greeting his sister would go, and he wasn't in the mood for that just yet. Maybe he was being dramatic, since especially lately, he had come to terms with knowing that no matter how badly Rose could irk him, she always had good intentions at heart, but he also wished that she would understand that he didn't need someone checking up on him. It was nice and all, knowing that she cared, but he was older than she was. She could claim to be more responsible or whatever she wanted to say, and it was definitely true, but as everyone liked to say, he was old enough to make his own choices and pay for them when consequences arose. He had done that all throughout his life, in respects to making stupid choices and learning from them. Right now, Chris felt like he was at a really good place in his life. He still "tampered" with some of his old habits, that definitely weren't the healthiest, but he didn't think that a line of coke every once in a while, or a couple of blackout drinking nights were actually going to kill him. He was trying to enjoy his youth, something that he thought his sister needed to do more of.

Instead of following them towards the food, he opted to remain unnoticed by the couple, and headed in a different direction. Now doubting that he would find Nat just yet, he sent her a text back saying, "Don't worry, I bought those flavored condoms that I know you like. We can test them out tonight. I just got here. Look around and follow the direction that all the girls are staring in, and it'll probably lead you directly to me." He knew good and well what her first text, about the condoms, was referring to, but he wasn't going to miss an opportunity at pretending that he thought she was concerned about him remembering condoms for them to use together. Once that was sent, he decided that there had to be some alcohol in the pool house anyway, so that was the destination he had in mind, but he stopped short, at the pool itself, when he noticed a very familiar, and very attractive, brunette in the water. "Scantily clad and wet," Chris smirked, when he caught her attention. "Just the way I like you." The two hadn't been an item for a couple of years, but that didn't stop them from remaining friends, and it was just in Christopher's nature to flirt with any beautiful girl he crossed paths with. Even now, Valen was no exception to that, and even though he didn't get into the water just yet, and opted to remain standing on the edge, outside of the pool, he took off his white v-neck and tossed it onto a nearby lounge chair, leaving him in just his swim trunks. "How've ya been, V? I feel like you've been avoiding me with how you always seem to be on the other side of the globe when I come back to town."

Haven's Outfit
"There we go! That's the motto!" Haven agreed enthusiastically when Brooke agreed to take the shot, citing the "yolo" motto as a reasoning. She could relate to Brooke prepping for Fashion Week. Her preparation was definitely a lot more difficult, since she had to create an entire line to hit the runway by September, but Haven was already in the process of signing contracts and figuring out which labels she wanted to walk for during the week long event. In addition to her features in numerous ad campaigns and editorials, and officially becoming a Victoria's Secret Angel this winter, Haven had walked in over 300 runway shows throughout her career so far, so she was pretty experienced in that realm. It benefited her in numerous ways, but one of the major ones was that she was well known by all of the big labels, so she could be more selective on who she walked for, or accept as many offers as her schedule allowed, and increase her own exposure. Unlike many models, though, Haven was also blessed in the sense that if one day she decided that she hated modelling, she would be completely fine, financially, just disappearing from that world, on a minute's notice. She was in it for more than the money however, so it wasn't something she planned on doing soon, but that financial security that she had over others was definitely privileging.

As Nat and Brooke downed theirs, Haven followed suit, and the liquor slid down her throat as if it were nothing sharper than water. Tequila was her liquor of choice, at least when it came to shots, so she didn't have any issues getting a glass of top-shelf tequila down, regardless of the time of the day, or how sober she was. Kylie's response to the liquor made Haven react similarly to Natalia, and it was just a signal to Haven that she really needed to hang around Kylie more, this summer. Someone had to teach this girl how to drink, if she was still coughing on an expensive shot of tequila! "Now that your favorite sister is going to cover your ass, you have no excuse to not come with me tonight. After we eat, we're going, no backing out, babe!" Haven warned, with a playful wag of her finger. After that poor show of skill with the tequila shot, Haven was even more determined to get Kylie really drunk tonight, as if that would somehow "prepare" her for the summer Haven wanted them to have. She was tempted to take a second shot, only because she wanted to challenge Brooke, who had taken a second, to see if she would go for a third too, but the California Iced Tea in her hand hadn't even been sipped yet. Plus, she saw that some people were moving out of the bar area and back to the main lawns, which was a pretty good cue that the food was starting to be put out. Haven wasn't starving, though she definitely planned on eating, but her motivation for wanting to get over to that area was more so based on her wanting to eat so that they could move on to the next party. She had gotten an Instagram picture out of this one earlier on, so her presence would be felt on social media, and now she was ready for the next adventure. Finding out that Christopher had arrived had the potential to change that craving to leave, since Chris tended to bring the party wherever he was anyway, but for now, she was still set on leaving after dinner. "And it looks like it's just about time to eat! Perfect timing!" Haven exclaimed, nodding to the people heading towards the lawn. She used her free hand to grab Kylie by the wrist, and gave her a slight tug away from the bar, before turning back to Natalia and Brooke, with them being her second thought. "Find us before we leave, girlies! And don't you two stick around this bar for much longer! Taking more shots when I'm not around is totally cheating in our now-established competition to get wasted tonight!" she informed them, a playful stern glance being added for the effect, before she continued to tug Kylie towards the lawn that the food tables were lined up on.
