Adopted Heir of Garbiel Forgefire

0 · 71 views · located in The Skycity of Revelation

a character in “Revelation: The Cure”, originally authored by Ezarael, as played by RolePlayGateway

Age: 24

Height: 6'

Weight: 190 lbs.

Eye Color: Amber

Hair Color: Sandy Brown

Danterus is considered very muscular and toned for his height, of which he takes pride to keep his appearance as such, and has not had the displeasure any hideous scars from his adopted trade. Unlike Garbiel Danterus prefers to wear his hair longer, but the actual length is disguised by how curly it really is, each strand of hair twirling to intertwine and create perfect curls that are soft and bounce endlessly when pulled, but even so he keeps it trimmed to shoulder length. His face has alsot been noted to resemble that of a lion, with a broad mouth crafted for speaking with authority, or grabbing the attention of a crowded room. His arms and legs are nearer to average in length than the older man's simian-like appendages, but his neck is actually several inches longer than his father's, and his torso is longer than his legs, giving his upper body this endless look.

Danterus has proven to be very bull-headed, impatient, and somewhat lacking in common sense at times, but he takes each and every incident that occurs to use as a lesson for a later day, always believing in second chances, yet not everyone has the same opinion, or general idea of his personality for that matter, concerning Danterus. One person may very well slander him for being impatient as another would compliment him on the time he takes to deliberate, yet everyone agrees to the same thing, and that is Danterus is a very adaptive individual who can fit into any crowd he so pleases. The murder of his parents has led to a hatred of all mages.

Danterus' first memory is that of seeing his parents murdered in cold blood, mugged by renegade mages who chose to burn them and ask for their valuables later. The two fugitives had fled from the scene before spotting the little boy, playing a trick on his parents by hiding in a crate at the mouth of the alleyway they had entered to look for him, and after that an older man, who will later adopt the child as his own son, took the crying child in his arms. Danterus had been six years of age. After that his life became very monotonous, Garbiel giving him the best tutors he could find and teaching him in the ways of smithing, and over many years he has become rather content with his "new" life, but still hating the memory of seeing his parents burn. He has also been brought to many gatherings involving Parliament Members and other Nobility, allowing Danterus to experience the more genteel habits used by "cultured" citizens, but this has also been a drawback since he has also met David Gilgamesh on several occasions, and finding himself intoxicated with his opinions on mages and regulations has proven rather infuriating for the more open-minded, cautious Garbiel.
