Tomomi Ute

Image

Nickname:
Some call her Tom, which she hates the most. If she is called by a nickname, she prefers Mo, or Momi

Age:
20

Gender:
Female
Is it not obvious?

Sexuality:
Straight
I don't have anything against others sexuality though

Love Interest:
They're all in a gang, so they're my enemy. This isn't some romantic drama ya' know?

Position:
Undercover Cop, Tomomi Ute
It'll be our secret though, kay?

Personality:
Tomomi looks like a loner, but in reality she's just quiet at times and isn't to out-spoken. She loves a good conversation though, but will avoid subjects about other gangs and the city. She hates when others talk to her about their personal life unless she asks. She hates when people burden her with their issues, but she won't voice it out loud. Her mood can change at the drop of a hat. She'll be laughing at one point, but if someone says something she doesn't like she immediately stops. She has a very intense gaze, and has a bad temper when angry. She is nice on the outside, but what she really wants to do is be loud and yell. She has a strong sense of empathy, and thinks what the gangs are doing are horrible. She cares for the citizens, but thinks they deserve a better city and structure. Tomomi has very strong morals, and is very whimsical in what she wants. Sometimes changing her mind often, but she does have very big empathy and looks down on others who seem more childish than her.

Tomomi isn't fazed by much of the action in the city, and even at a young age she is one of the best in her division. She holds an excellent poker face, and has remarkable acting skills. Due to an unfortunate accident, her hearing isn't what it used to be, but it still doesn't hinder her. She is a realist, and doesn't mind bringing a few idealistic kids ego down a notch.

Weapons:
Image

Other:
Tomomi has a fascination with fire, and is a slight pyromaniac. Sometimes she wonders why she should save the city when what she wants to do is burn it down and restart.
She stands at only 5'6, and is extremely good at running and baseball.
She has issues with commitment, and fallowing things through. So she isn't the most reliable person. She is loyal when she finds someone worth protecting.

Theme Song:
Where'd you go- Fort Minor

Aurora Alexandera Justice

As the sun started to set on another day in the City of Lost,Aurora looked at it from the roof of an abandoned apartment complex. She called a meeting, but honestly they could wait. She didn't even tell Eli what it was about, mostly because she never knew who she could trust. She looks at her small wrist watch and exhales looking at the time, exacty five minutes after she called the meeting. Grabbing her coat, she opened the small wooden door of the roof, walking down the stairs quickly. She started to walk to the city's only entacted bridge knowing no one went near it any more.

Getting to the bridge she jumps under it letting the little water that was left wet her white boots. Seeing the others she looks at all of them with cold eyes. She cracks her fingers and looks at Eli,who was next to her. As she counted, she saw they were are there and she wasn't surprised. She didn't call a meeting often, but when she did everyone knew it was worth coming. Hearing people talk to people next to them, she whisles loudly getting their attention with a smirk on her face.

"I have something important to tell you all,I think that a few of us aren't who we say we are... I think that police has a few snakes planted inside our group. That stupid police is getting on my last damn nerve," She stops for a moment moving her long bubblegum pink hair out of her face a behind her periced left ear. She clears her throat and covers her mouth, she walks down the line of the members looking every single one of them in their eyes. "They been trying to stop us for years and haven't successed. Have they?" She raises an eyebrow to Eli. She grabs her sword and puts it at her side. "So,to get to the point. If anyone, and I do mean anyone is either a cop or a Synx and I find out. there will be consequences to pay, understood?" She looks at them clutching her sword's handle.

"But,if anyone thinks someone isn't being truthful to me,to Eli,and to the rest of us. Let me or Eli know imediantly. Your name will remained a secert unless I see fit." She insures them. She outs her sword back away and walks next to Eli with her hand behind her back. She looks at them and sees a few people with smug looks on their face and talk quietly to people next to them. She hated when people didn't listen to her,she was the leader and weather they liked it or not she wasn't going anywhere, any time soon. She whisles twice as loud as before, seeing a few cover their ears. She smirked before continuing,"I don't know how many of you give a sh** about this..about us. But,I do. This group of people are the closet thing to a family, any of us have now. And I will protect it and all it's members with my life and I expect the rest of you to do the same." She looks at them with a spark go through her deep blue eyes.

"I'm done for now,Ask for you who didn't listen.I will talk to you all on a later date." She told them as she grabbed her coat that she layed on a large rock. She saw most of them exit quickly, they knew they made a mistake of ticking her off especailly with such a serious topic. She patted some of the dirt off and exhales. She looks at Eli. "I swear, sometimes I feel like we're the only ones who care about the Dayzes." She saids in a hushed tone that only her and Eli could hear and shakes her head, putting her coat on feeling a slight breeze as she did so. She looks back at Eli. "Do you think,I was a little too cold on them?" She ask him buttoning the frist two buttons on her coat.

God,it just one of those days. Man,I hate when I become like a drill sargent,I get so....unstable and a tid bit scary.

Covering her sea-green eyes, Tomomi looked out of her apartment window. The City of Lost, fitting name that described how most of the residents felt. Lost. The city in shambles, and graffiti marking almost every inch of space any wall provided. Covering her upper torso in a coat, she slowly walked down the apartment stairs. Recently the leader of the Dayze called in a meeting, the woman who ran it named Aurora usually didn't do these type of things. So when Tomomi heard of it, she eagerly anticipated what it would be like. To get into one of their heads, it was a cruel game everyone was playing. From the politicians -big wigs- all the way down to the lowest of the low.

Adjust her holster, she quickly headed down the street. Head bowed as she just stared at the cracked sidewalk. City of the Broken would have been another excellent name. Walking to the only entrance bridge in the city, she watched as a few more members started to appear. She wasn't to big on talking to them, but hearing the ushered thoughts on what Aurora had to say was quite interesting. Finally seeing the pink-haired leader, she whistled. Her trusty companion Eli right next to her.

Listening as she explained that a few 'bugs' might have been implanted into the group, Tomomi watched as some held smug looks. Whispering to the person next to them, she couldn't help but roll her eyes. And they were considered a threat to the city? Everyone might has well of been a threat, actually, scratch that. Everyone was. She had to give the leader props though, to lay down a life for something you believe in. They deserved some credit. It was admirable; although, the way they're doing it was distasteful and chaotic. As the meeting finally ended, which was just more of a rant, Tomimi watched as everyone quickly scurried off. Eyes looking back to the two leaders, she saw Aurora address Eli. One way to control someone was through fear, but some have lost that feeling. Hesitating whether or not to leave, Tomimi just started to kick up some dirt. It's not like she had anywhere else to go.

Demetre Saphrina

Demetre listened as his leader talked. It was the thoughts that counted... but that speech, in his opinion, was a bad move. Friends would start accusing each other.. Some would start seeing things that weren't there and reading more into actions than they should... He rolled his eyes. Really bad move. Now eveyone was going to be suspicious of each other and if there really was someone undercover... this little speech would put them even more on guard than they already were... they'd probably even set up false rumors against the real members of the Dayze... The white haired boy made sure his knives were in place before looking around. Most of the others had gone to do whatever.. probably to have dinner. Now that he thought about it.. he was pretty hungry as well. But it wasn't any fun to eat alone.

"Hey! Tomimi, up for some food?" He grinned, casually slinging a long arm around the older woman's slender shoulders, making sure none of his weapons hurt her. "I don't know about you but I'm starving. We can go anywhere you like, my treat." He glanced at Aurora and Eli. They really were too uptight for their own good.

"Boss, wanna join us?" He asked them before hearing Tomimi's answer. "You can come too, Eli." He gave a friendly nod to the second in command... though that seemed too strict of a title... He was more like Aurora's henchman. The guy that did her dirty work... Demetre snickered. They were all her henchman. They fought for democracy but the Dayze wasn't much of a demacracy at all. They were.... hypocritical... or ironic? Which was the better word? Demetre just smirked. "Let's go, eh?"

Viyoletta Saphrina

Viyoletta glared at everyone as Questin's words sank in. An imposter... She couldn't deny that the thought had crossed her mind several times... but she was a naturally suspicious person. She always kept everyone at a distance and everyone seemed like an enemy to her. Viyoletta was a very paranoid girl and she knew it. If she didn't admire him so much.. she would probably be suspicious of Questin himself... no matter how stupid the idea seemed. Viyolett subtly scanned the others around her. No one really seemed to be very interested in all this. Fools. They should try to find the imposters right away. Having a cop among them.... the thought made her sneer in disgust. The one person could ruin everything they had worked for. If she had to... she would stalk each and everyone of them... even their leader. Of course, she was an excellent stalker/tracker no matter how creepy that seemed to people. IF she didn't want them to, almost no one would be able to notice her presence. The white haired girl glared at a few of the Synx as they laughed at a stupid joke of some sort. How dare they? Their leader was speaking to them! Viyo restrained herself as the urge to kick them in the necks increased. She quickly took a few calming breaths before turning back to Questin. However, it seemed that he had stopped speaking. Well.. That was short.

The sun was starting to set and the air was growing chilly. She frowned at herself. What had she done with her jacket? She looked like a complete fool standing their in her tank top and tight capri pants. Her eyes gazed around but she couldn't find it. Silently, she cursed. It was brand new! And it was a birthday gift from her brother.... She looked wistfully for the black fleece as the people started to leave. If someone stole it... She would kill them with her bare hands...

Feeling an arm snake around her shoulders, Tomomi saw a familiar silver locks on a boy a lot taller than her. Demetre didn't strike her as someone who could harm anyone, but with all the knives he discreetly carried around said otherwise. Shifting under the weight, she almost lost footing before quickly gaining it. Heart-racing, she imagined her fellow colleagues laughing at her, she wasn't the most well-balanced person it the world. "Food?" she repeated. What time was it? Bleh, she didn't care, grabbing her stomach she let out a depleted sigh. "That sounds good right about now.....sure I'll go with ya'"

Sending a glance towards Aurora and Eli, she couldn't help but muse that she was older than them. Sure, maybe by a year or two, but she was still probably the oldest member in the Dayze. It seemed like the new recruits just kept getting younger and younger though. Eyes turning towards the sky, she let out another sigh. A habit that's grown on her. Shaking her head, she hugged her coat closer to her before letting out a slight shiver. It was a little colder than she expected, but she was known for getting cold easily.
Removing Demetre's arm from her, making sure to avoid any pointy objects, she stared at her leader and Eli. It was a little odd whenever she addressed the pink haired girl as leader, but still nonetheless Tomomi kept her cover up. In this city, you had to keep an eye on who was who. Paranoia one thing almost everyone had.

"Man, I'm starving. Where should we go eat?" She questioned not really expecting any good food, because all the good things were reserved for the higher ups. The politicians and what not, just thinking about it made her hate the cities system even more.

Aurora Alexandera Justice

Feeling the wind go through her jeans on to her legs, she knows now to wear thicker pants, even though most of the pants she owned were short. But,not too short of shorts she still had a little thing called self respec but at time maybe she had just a little too much. She clears her throat as she's about to exit the bridge as soon as she begins to leave she hears someone call her name, well not her name but her title. "Leader,I still love to sound of that. Wait a minute who called my name? She puts her foot back on the hard ground feeling her sword hit her small legs lightly.

"Boss, wanna join us?" ,She looks in the direction she hears it coming and sees Demetre with his arm around Tomomi. She half smiles in their diretion and shrugs her shoulders. "Why not?" She saids under her breath and she walks towards them. They were towo out of the five people she actually trusted the most, but that wasn't say much. She exhales and start to see her breath as the wind starts to blow in her face, thank God she had her hair in a ponytail or it would be all in her pale small face. As she looked at the two people around her she saw it sunny how on was older than her and one was a year younger,it made her feel like a middle child like when she was growing up. She shake the thought of her family out of her head, she had to be alert 24/7 especially in a place like this, where everything is turning to crap faster than anyone can stop it.Focus,Aurora! Keep your mind sharp! She had to learn to keep her past hidden just likeshe di with her emotions and true feelngs about anyone.

She looks at Demetre,"Where you want to go eat?" She could feel te hunger in her stomach, but there was barely any good place t ea so they were all the same to her.

Eli Crues

Eli awoke to a bright ray glistening in his eyes. It was the sun, which, every once in a while would miraculously rear it's obnoxious head. He wasn't quite ready to actually wake up, but knew of the impending meeting that would occur today. He groaned, sitting up and glancing at the clock which was flashing the digital digits of 11:07. "Almost noon." He rubbed his face and fumbled out of his bed snatching his black jacket, slinging it around body only to receive a loud growl from his stomach. "I need some food..." He snatched his headband and sword from his corner table as he walked out the door.

The building he inhabited was seemingly falling apart at the seams. The sun's rays could be seen creeping into the dark halls. 'This place is a hell of a dump.' Eli wasn't entirely satisfied with the conditions, but there wasn't much he could do, he had to remain hidden. He finally reached the illuminated streets of the City of Lost. He knew the location of the meeting since he actually helped plan the spot, knowing full well he would probably wake up late. Eli wandered towards the locale, figuring he would end up being a little late. He reached the group and was surprised to see that Aurora, of all people was the last to arrive.

The group waited for Aurora's arrival, although it was only for a few minutes, it ticked like an eternity. He didn't bother talk with any of the other Dayze members, simply keeping to himself. He couldn't help but know that even if he lacked trust in a few Dayze members, he still would risk his life to keep his allies alive. That was just his way, he could recall a few occasions where he took specific risks to ensure his allies were safe. That didn't matter now, his only worry was what Aurora called the meeting for. Alas, she finally showed up! He listened intently to his most trusted friend. 'Traitors, heh, I'd take them out myself.' He wouldn't hesitate to take down anyone that threatened Aurora or the existence of Dayze. He continued to listen to Aurora, admiring her rather smooth voice almost like music to his ears.

The meeting was over rather abruptly, everyone had begun wandering their own directions and he ended up following Aurora. "I'm not so sure... I have some trust in some of these guys." He threw his arms behind his head and looked up at the sky. "I don't think you were too cold, just abrupt. But, it was all necessary." He could hear someone talking behind him, most likely Demetre. "Real fast, I'm gonna say, one of the few people that seems trustworthy is Tomomi... Although she's quiet and solitary, I feel like she'd be someone to trust. I also-" Eli stopped himself from being too honest, knowing full well that his input would hold heavy with Aurora. He could only assume Aurora knew that he had a slight crush on the older women. He could hear the voice of Demetre clearer now, as he attempted to drag the two with himself out to eat with Tomomi. 'He didn't even wait for Tomomi's response...' He turned to Demetre, "Sure, I'll join you for a meal." He began walking towards Demetre pondering where a good place to grab a bite to eat would be.

Demetre Saphrina

Demetre smiled good naturedly, unfazed, as Tomomi shrugged off his arm. At least she agreed to go. His eyes flickered over to Aurora and flashed her a cocky grin.

,"Where you want to go eat?" The lady asked. He blinked at her.

"Well, wherever the ladies would like to go, I'm up for it." He winked casually at her, beaming. "I eat anything after all." Actually, today was Viyoletta's birthday. Her favorite restaurant was that small cozy Italian place... She had finally turned fifteen. The two had been able to meet up a couple of days before but.. he wished he could be there with her now. Pasta... the word itself made his mouth water. The sweet tomato sauce, the salty cheese.... But he kept his face neutral as he gazed at his fellow gang members. He looked over at Eli, strange guy... But he made good conversation once in a while. Demetre pulled his thin black coat tighter across his chest as a sudden gust of wind made him squint. It was getting colder and colder. Hopefully the little jacket he had gotten for his sister would keep her warm. It had been very expensive. "It's your pick, but please do hurry. I'm starving here."

John Arnold

This was about the tenth time John had take apart both of his guns in the last few hours. He reached over and grabbed his cellphone 2:03 AM it read. Sleep had been avoiding him, anxiety and nerves were getting the better of his mind, cleaning his guns seemed like it would bore him to sleep or at least lift some weight from his thoughts. The end result was the opposite of what he wanted, feeling even more awake, attentive, and his mind working harder than when he was just laying in bed. Especially to ensure that every screw was placed correctly and tightened just the right amount.

His hand jolted back from pain, an ash from the cigarette in his mouth found a lucky landing on John's bare skin. John had been a smoker from the age of fifteen to seventeen, then he quit. During his late eighteenth year was when he first got told about his assignment. They also informed him that he should start smoking because it'd help with his cover identity, and most gangsters couldn't afford fake or electronic cigarettes. John took one long, last drag and opened up the window next to him, the cold air bit at his face. The smoking danced and lifted into the late night, early morning air, like exhaling in the dead of winter. He tossed the cigarette butt out the window and watched it sail through the night, like the last lit torch of humanity, smashing on the cracked asphalt below, scattering ashes in a quick, amber colored light show, a Fourth of July firework without the bang. John slid the window shut, preventing anymore warmth from escaping. The smell of fresh night air lingered in the room though, almost like a pleasantly overdue meeting with an old friend, or a lost love...

"Love." As if the four letter word had any meaning to people these days. John had only ever "loved" one person. All of a sudden one day John found out she was moving, wouldn't say where, wouldn't return any calls, texts, emails, nothing. Just fell off the face of the Earth, disappeared from this bleak existence, like she never wanted to be there in the first place. He didn't even know whether to consider them still together, or broken up. She just meant so much to him... She was the fucking reason he even stopped smoking and tried to clean up his life in the first place...

John shook his head, trying to clear away these dark thoughts. He stood up from the couch, picked up his phone to check the time again. 2:58 AM. He walked over to his bed and let himself collapse onto it.

It only felt like a minute later that his cellphone started to vibrate spastically. John pried open his eyes and stretched out his arm to try and feel for his phone. Finally he clutched it and hit the button to stop the vibrating. He received a text message from the almighty leader herself. All it said was Meeting today. Be there. "So much for sleeping in." John bitterly muttered to himself. He rolled out of bed and threw on his black t-shirt, camo pants, and black beanie. Though he didn't wrap his bandanas around his face yet, he stuck them in his pocket in the event he needed them later. John stuck his handgun in it's holster, slung his shotgun around his back, pocketed his lighter and a pack of cigarettes, and walked down the stairs of the apartment building and out onto the streets.

Early to arrive at the usual location, but not the first. Being new meat he didn't know any of the other gang members, he barely had even talked to Aurora enough to say he knew her. John placed himself on a curb and watched as more showed up, then eventually the head of the group. She gave her quick speech and stepped off her podium. Some of the gangsters dispersed, some stayed and chatted. John just sat in place, figured he'd see if someone might come to him first. He pulled out a cigarette and his lighter, stuck the stick in his mouth and lit the end. He let the first drag linger, then looked up and let it out in a puff. John looked around at everyone else, guessing he looked like the one loner in the group.

Letting her eyes wander over the three people's faces, Tomomi watched as Demetre sent a wink towards Aurora's direction. She didn't know how to read the air to well, and the concept of being close to someone was muddled through years of betrayal and deceit. Stuffing her hands into her pocket, she puffed out her cheeks in slight annoyance. Why were they not moving yet? Shaking her head, she imagined how childish she must have looked. She felt somewhat sorry for Aurora. Being younger then her, but still having to act the most mature since she was the leader. It must put on immense stress. Letting a small smile grazer her face, she stared at the ground. Sometimes seeing the childish antics shine through these members made a spark of hope surge through her.

"Italian or Mexican food?" Aurora questioned. Snapping out of her daze, Tomimi blinked a few times. Face showing concentration as she thought of the options, "Italian food sounds good." Truthfully she didn't like Mexican food that much. But at least they would be eating, of course as a police officer she did have a few perks. Of course before going undercover, one of them being being able to eat till she was full.

As the pink haired girl addressed John, Tomimi watched as the man seemed to have just stopped at a curb. His lips on a ciggarette, he was the loner of the group to be honest. Since he was new he probably didn't felt a little awkward around everyone. Sure, she was quiet and solitary like some might point out. She had Demetre and Aurora and Eli to lean on though. But Demetre was the friendliest of the group. So he could get along with anyone. Shifting, she darted her eyes between John and Aurora anxiously awaiting for his response. The cold starting to chill her, she crossed her arms. Why she didn't put on gloves was beyond her, but now the only thing getting her through was the thought of a warm area with food.

Viyoletta

The girl looked at him sharply, her daze almost boring holes into his own. Why would he randomly ask her that? How did he know? Viyo stayed silent for a moment. Carl didn't seem like a bad person. She hesitated. However, it was free. Only an idiot would pass up an offer like that.

"Sure, I guess." Viyo answered, her voice quiet, barely hiding her suspicion. It was a bad habit to be so paranoid but... She couldn't really help it. That's what happened when you lived like this. She was a gang member. Vioy pulled the fleece around her tighter. "Okay,"

She started walking slowly into the direction of the neareset coffee shop. She lived with this other older Sinx member. She brought home guys a lot and Viyo tried to avoid being there as much as possible. It was kind of scary to have such older men leering at you like a starving animal. Hopefully, she it wouldn't be too cold to sleep outside tonight.

Demetre

Demetre grinned and saluted mockingly. "I know just the place then. Italian it is." Thank God. He hated Mexican food. "The owner of that place totally owes me. We'll get a decent meal tonight." The white haired guy started leading the way, taking Tomomi's hand in his larger one. He didn't really have a crush or anything, he was just a very physical person that thought nothing of a little contact.

"Come on, John." He grinned at the other Dayze member. "You may go to sleep with a full belly for once." He glanced back and nodded at Eli and Aurora. "Let's hurry up, it's getting a little chilly out." He looked out at the setting sun and smiled. Food.. he hasn't eaten in a while. Maybe that's why he'd been feeling pretty depressed lately. That wasn't like him.. Demetre rolled his shouldlers. Now wasn't really the time to ponder these things. He could think when he was alone.

John slowly inhaled and exhaled, breathing the smoke almost subconsciously. His mind had retreated back into reminiscing about the past. Prominent in his mind was the days, weeks, and months after his girlfriend up and left. The day that he proved his worth to everyone but himself. It was just after lunch, the thought of food made John's stomach snarl, he just sat back in his cruiser when he got the call on the radio for backup, gang shootout that was escalating severity, the location very close by. John radioed in that he was on his way, and was the first to arrive.

Coming onto the scene John popped the car trunk open and grabbed his preloaded shotgun, then crouched and ran towards the car of the cop who had called for backup. The man had been shot in the arm and was bleeding badly. John grabbed the radio and told dispatch that he needed an ambulance on the scene as soon as possible. Then he stood up and fired his shotgun into the air and yelled "Alright, you guys got till I count to three to put your guns down and your hands behind your heads. Counting starts now. One..." Seven slightly confused faces looked in his direction. Four on the left side, three on the right. "... Two..." John let the front of the shotgun fall back into his left hand, he let go of the stock and trigger and pumped it with one hand, the spent shell fell out to the ground, making a clink in the sudden silence. Eight rounds left. He stepped around the car and started to walk forward. "... Three." John grabbed the trigger ring with his left hand and pulled the stock up to his shoulder, one of the gangsters turned to shoot at him, but wasn't quick enough. John snapped his shoulders in his direction and squeezed the trigger, the majority of the buckshot hit him straight on, some nicked the shoulder of the gangster next to him. John pumped the shotgun again, Seven rounds. One of the gangsters on his right tried to blindly fire over his cover but ended up shooting a rival member instead of John, who shot back but only hit the cover he was behind. Six rounds.

John snapped out of his day dream from his stomach rumbling again, and he overheard some people talking about getting something to eat. Then he heard the leaders voice come out in his direction. "John, wanna come with? We're getting some dinner..." His cigarette was only burned down halfway, but he put it out, he always felt it was rude to smoke in front of someone he didn't know at all. He stood up and cracked a little smile and said "I'd love to." As he walked over he put his hands in his pockets, he had expected a warmer day but felt pretty chilled right now. He eyed up the four of them quickly. Three of them carried swords, he wondered if they just couldn't afford guns or if it was part of a gang look. He was glad to be invited to tag along with them but didn't know if he should let himself get attached if he was expected to take them down. "I dunno if you guys already decided on a place to eat, I'm no help if you haven't though, I've barely been in this city a few weeks and haven't seen much of it yet." John said, just to put out a little bit of conversation.

Eli Crues

Eli had caught up to the group with Aurora right behind him. He heard that everyone decided on Italian... all Eli cared for was a nice full stomach to sleep with. He personally didn't care if the food all that healthy for you, food was food. "Alright, let's get going then." He followed Demetre who was apparently leading the group to their dinner location. He took notice that John, the new guy, who was awfully silent and distant was joining them. Maybe just maybe he would finally open up abit, you know, just enough to make sure he isn't a traitor. He turned his head back forward and could see Demetre's and Tomomi's hands interlocked... 'What!' Eli tried his best to hid his flustered and annoyed expression. He figured it'd be best to strike up a conversation, at least to help keep his mind off of them... holding hands... "So uh, Demetre what'd you do for To-, Errrm uh, the Italian Restaurant Owner?" The deal was sealed. Eli's heart sank, he didn't even mean to say Tomomi, thus explaining his sudden stop mid-sentence. 'Shit, shit, shit! Now everyone knows! FUCK!' He hid his bright red face behind his jacket collar and threw his hands into his pockets as the cold steel of his sword clung to his back. He was an idiot.

Aurora Alexandera Justice

As Aurora looked at the sun setting, she couldn't help but start to remember her father, and how he would teach her how to fight once the sun set every single day,her mom hated her being the way she was instead of a girly girl. But ask for her father, well he was the one who taught her all she knew, seeing her mother didn't give damn about her. Thinking about it Aurora clutches a locket wrapped around her sword, she hasn't looked at the picture inside in years and was going to keep it like that. Everytime she looked at it,she broke down crying and was the fragil defenceless girl she hated being. She lets the heart shaped necklace go, feeling a chill go down her spine just from holding it. She hated the picture, she hated what it did to her but mostly she hated the two men inside of it,they made her feel like she didn't deserve to be leader,it made her feel ashamed. But,those two men were her brothers, she hadn't talk to them in years. Well, seeing one was dead and the other one was a Synx she really couldn't do much about it. Well, she could but everytime her and her brother met,it ended in a huge argument. She swallows a lump in her throat as she thought about their last fight and how he said she was a selfish bitch who didn't think of anyone but herself and why couldn't she quit the Dayze and just become a Snyx with him. They both said things they shouldn't have said, but everytime they said they hated each other, she didn't believe it. She shakes the whole memory of her past out of her head knowing sooner or later she would either be depressed or ticked off.

As everyone began to walk,Aurora stayed behind everyone, she just needed time to think to herself and how she would find out who these traitors were. She messes with the ends of her hair before she climbed out of the ditch along with the others. After a while she stopped thinking about it and caught up with the others keeping a steady pace and a blank emotion on her face,at least she tried. She watched as Demetre and Tomomi locked fingers and she couldn't help but feel bad for her closest friend,it didn't take an einstein to see that he liked her or was developing feelings for her, "So uh, Demetre what'd you do for To-, Errrm uh, the Italian Restaurant Owner?" Aurora covered her mouth with a sneeze coming through her nose. She bit her lip to help from saying,"Nice save there, idiot." But instead she just rolled her eyes and kept to herself, she would talk to Eli about it later.

She saw Eli probably get embaressed. She walks up beside him and pats his back softly, almost girly like....almost. She whispers to him,"Nice save,Eli." she smirked at him and actaully let a chuckle out,she didn't know what the Hell was going on today. She has finally gone bipolar or off the deep end. She went from being the spawn of the devil to acting like an eighteen year girl, well as much as you can be in a city like this.

Trying not to roll her eyes, in vain she might add, as Demetre did a mock salute she watched as John put out his cigarette. She absolutely detested the smell, but had grown custom to it over the years. With an almost whistful look in her eyes, she saw a familiar gleam in John's eyes. Almost a melancholic expression, but as he slowly made his way towards the group it changed to that of..... suspicion perhaps? Watching as his gaze went to the swords, she tried not to frown. She somehow expected for a gang....to have guns really. Because what good would a sword be when out of range? It didn't make sense to her, and befuddled her more than she'd liked to admit. Finally, the group started to move, feeling a hand enclose on her's she looked up to see Demtre leading the way. What exactly did the owner of the Italian store owe him, she really didn't want to know. It wasn't like she minded the contact, it was almost a bit comforting in a way. Heh, wonder how this looks?

Letting her guard down, just the slightest bit, she gladly accepted the warmth Demtre emitted. Her other hand still stuffed into her coat pocket. The height difference was almost something to laugh at though, because compared to her he might as well have been a giant. Okay, she was over exaggerating, but still. The difference was a little to great to ignore. As thoughts of her workers entered her head, she quickly tried to shake them away. Inwardly berrating herself, the times at the office where it was warm. She didn't get to see much action first hand, but Tomomi had gotten enough to never want to experience the thought of shooting ever again. A little ironic since her main preferance in weapons was a steampunk gun. The design oddly suited her though, a child-like appearance but still able to pack a punch.

As she slowly came back to reality, Tomomi heard Eli start to speak. She never really took notice of the man, since she herself was quite solitary. But she couldn't help but be curious as he started to say her name. Looking at the sidewalk, she furrowed her brows in thought. Not having the courage to look back at him and Aurora, she could feel heat spread through out her face. Why am I blushing?

Demetre

Demetre was smiling as he started to lead the way. Tomomi's hand was really cold and he held on to it tighter, trying to share his warmth. He grinned down at her and realized that she was small.. like really small. It reminded him of his little sister but.. that was wrong since Tomomi was older than him.

"So uh, Demetre what'd you do for To-, Errrm uh, the Italian Restaurant Owner?" Eli stammered out randomly and the younger man looked back at Aurora's henchman curiously.

"At the moment, I am leading her to food," He made a sweeping gesture with his free arm. "As I am doing for the rest of you. As for the Owner... I stopped a few of the Synx from raiding his kitchen. Multiple times." Yup. That wasn't pleasant. However, the owner said that he would be more than happy to feed him when ever. It was a pretty good deal. He could handle any Synx any day.

Then Demetre smirked at Eli. "You can hold her other hand if you like. Don't worry, I won't take both." With that, he clapped John on the shoulder and held out his free hand to Aurora. "Let's go boss before they close. I'm sure we're all starving."

He clasped his large warm hand around his leader's and started pulling the two older women foward.

Eli Crues

Eli was starting to feel the heat, there was this ominous tension around him after catching himself. Even as the embarrassment plagued his mind he heard the all too familiar, "Nice save, Eli." followed by a rather soothing pat on the back. He thought Aurora's comfort would benefit him, but to no avail, he was still burnin with that embarrassment. 'Damnit! What is my deal today, I'm screwing everything up!' He proceeded his inner rant by kicking the ground as he walked, further tucking his head into the ever smaller collar that his jacket bore. He figured this would be brought up at the meal and he'd have to face it eventually. 'Might as well get over it now.' Eli lifted his head with his face still glowing a lovely bright red. After looking up for a solid three seconds he took his right hand and brushed his face and hair, something he'd do to calm himself. 'Alright, I'm good now!' Despite saying this, Eli knew that this was all the usual ploy he'd give himself to ensure he'd stay calm.

As the group continued walking he heard Demetre finally pipe up, "At the moment, I am leading her to food," followed with a blatantly obvious hand gesture. 'Smartass...' Eli's eyes narrowed in that way where you express serious distaste for someone. "As I am doing for the rest of you. As for the Owner... I stopped a few of the Synx from raiding his kitchen. Multiple times." 'Multiple times, I doubt it.' Eli refrained from saying something so rude, knowing it'd have some lovely repercussions on him. "Cool, if you ever need some help, give me a holler." Eli wanted to punch his own gut for saying that, although, loyalty in the group was what kept them together, so he'd have to stick to his word... unfortunately. Loyalty...

Eli had a brief recollection of the day he and Aurora created Dayze. ~ "We are Dayze, the fighters of freedom for this city! Our code is loyalty! And most importantly always remember that the love of the heart will always override the hate of the mind." ~ Those words always resonated in Eli, no matter where he was, no matter the situation he was in. He always stuck to his word from that moment on for that was his code. "Loyalty is all we got..." Eli had somehow forgotten he was with a group and had spoken, although softly, out loud for those nearby to hear.

John listened to the members banter back and forth as he walked beside them. He was trying to keep the melancholy from his face but his mind was still stuck in the past a little bit. He didn't really have that much input to give until the guy named Eli said "Loyalty is all we got..." John tried to stick his hands deeper into his pockets, he was getting colder and he could even see his breath now. He turned his head towards Eli and said "Loyalty is something to live by. Makes the difference between a gang, a team, or even a business, and a family." The cold always made his voice a little raspy or crackly.

His eyes went towards the gradually darkening sky. He remembered how his older brother always wanted to be an astronaut. Wasn't just a kids dream either, he stuck with it through high school, got a lot of crap for it. In the summer his brother wouldn't even sleep in the house, he would just lay outside and watch the stars, the moon, the planets rotate above him. A mysterious thing that universe is, how insignificant we really are, and yet our lives are just as precious to us as the sun is to the orbit and warmth of the planets.

John said to the group in general "Ever wonder what drives us when nothing we do matters to the rest of the universe, or will matter in three hundred years when humans will be galaxies apart? Earth could just become as much of a fossil as the dinosaurs."

Feeling her blush quickly die down, Tomomi took the chance to look forward watching as a small italian resteraunt started to come up. Listing to what Demetre said, she couldn't help but frown. He could have been nicer to Eli, she thought letting go of the boy's hand. That's all the physical contact she could take now, deciding to stuff the now slightly warmed hand into her other pocket. The silver haired man could be a bit of a smart-ass at times. Not that she minded, as long as it wasn't to her since she -was- older and all. Did he really fight off the Synx, she wondered as her green eyes went towards the other side of the street. The area almost virtually empty, since, well it wasn't the safest area to be in. Especially at night.

"Loyalty is all we got," Tomomi blinked a few times. Was the only thing that tied her down loyalty? The idea was almost laughable at, loyalty was such an odd thing. Something she never really gave to anyone, sure she was still on the cops side. Not because she was loyal though, only because she wanted to help the city. Her morals drove her to succeed. ".....Ever wonder what drives us when nothing we do matters to the rest of the universe-" Almost losing her footing, Tomomi felt like interrupting but let John continue.

After he finished the sentence, she let out a deep breath. What was with him and being all deep now? She loved to have conversations like that, but at the same time it pained her since it easily made her depressed. "Try not to think to far ahead," she addressed John, "what matters is whats happening here and now. You choose what matters or not. If you think to far you'll begin to doubt yourself......" She finished. As long as you believe strongly in a cause, what others thought didn't matter. She held in a smirk, they still seemed like such kids.....

The conversation soon dying down, Tomomi was at a lost of what to do.The silence was unnerving, it made her very paranoid and fidgety. You couldn't tell from her outer appearance though, her demeanor calm and collected while inside her mind was in utter havoc. So many thoughts passing by as she tried to take it all in, but failing. Rolling her shoulders back, she popped her fingers. Feeling cold, and tired, but mostly tired, she closed her eyes momentarily before opening them to see a familiar looking face. She didn't know the rival gangs to well, but Tomomi knew what the leader looked like. The name she couldn't recall, but just seeing the young man made her mad.

The Dayze and the Synx were technically her enemies, but for some reason the Synx got under her skin more. Just seeing the members made her skin crawl, and a feeling of disgust wash over her. It was a surprise too, since Tomomi was a more collected person. Putting on a poker-face, she watched as Aurora and them seemed to exchange heated looks. A comment about coming to a dance club, she could't tell if he was trying to be polite or not though. As the exchange ended, they walked inside. The restaurant was warm, the smell of food wafting in the air as the group took a seat.

Not interested in small talk right now, Tomimi let her small hand graze over the menu. Her eyes looking over the different foods, it was enough to make her cry out in happiness. A smile tugging at her lips, she blinked a few times. What would be good? She thought as her eyes wandered over to the drinks. Would they serve wine?
