As the people's tummy groan with hunger, our minds groan with anger
JB was born into the harshes of poverty, he had to grow up fast and though he is a only 19 years of age he is already thinking of marriage and family. But he doesn't beleive in France in anymore. Nor that life is fair. As he slaves away at one failed crop after another, trying to ignore the ever growing rumble in his belly his hatred for wealth grows. JB has a strong personality. He is caring and chivalous, making sure his younger sibling have enough to eat before he does. HE tries to remain positive, especially for them. However, when the subject of the wealthy, nobles or blue bloods come up he is harsh and his words become a fuery.
Jean-Baptiste's most prized posetion is an unfinished carved wooded horse, that his father made him, His Family sheperds knife and his mothers wedding ring which he dreams of placing on the hand of a girl ina "free" France.
JB lost both his parents with a year of eachother from famine. His is now head of the family, taking care of his younger sister Margot (16) and his little brother Jacque(11). He is paranoid that they will grow hungry and will go to any means to make sure they are well now. They live on the outskirts of Paris on the land of Chateau le Coq. Living and working on the brinks of great wealth were a torture to him, especially when his parent died of starvation.
However, and silly as it seems, Jean Baptise continues to serve his master with all his will power and ambition, hoping that one day, the ladder of equality will raise him higher in the sight of his Master.
