Ghaliar

Ghaliar is a very peculiar nation and quite unlike anywhere on Earth. It is filled with all manner of otherworldly flora and fauna, the likes of which are either legendary or never even thought of on Earth. The geography varies from waterlogged swamps to barren, rocky badlands. One feature that remains consistent is the abundance of caves, and what can be found inside them varies from underground lakes to huge, angry scorpions with four pincers. Ghaliar is an oligarchy ruled by a council of elders. When one dies, the others fill the spot with someone trustworthy. Trustworthy enough to maintain their iron grip on the country.
