The Reverend is an old man, but he's got the boundless energy of someone a quarter of his age. His unshakeable spirit and belief in always doing the right thing by everyone has garnered him many followers over the years. He's inspiring but intuitive enough to know when to shut up if he has to. He believes in shepherding his flock and offering sage and positive advice to those who haven't been down the long road of life in the same way that he has. He is by far one of the most favorite personalities on the Las Vegas Proper Council, making enemies with no one.
P r o f i l e :
The Reverend is aging as the years go on, with gray hair and freckled dark skin. He dresses sharply like he did when he led his congregation back in the day, reverting between white preacher albs with dressings corresponding to the time of year and his old reliable suits, a few of which have been gifted to him by admiring mafiosos.
K i n d r e d:
The Reverend's wife, Henrietta, passed away just after The Change. To cope he simply immersed himself in taking care of the hundreds of people who suddenly came to his church seeking refuge. He keeps a wide social circle and genuinely cares about people.
F e a t s:
Keeping track of the boys in North Vegas is a feat enough for him.

Born in Birmingham, Alabama, to a fairly well-off black family in 1943 that had factory jobs thanks to World War II. After troops come home and jobs disappear for minorities, Mr. Jones, Sr., decides to preach. He and his family become civil rights crusaders in the 1950's and early 1960's. The Reverend has many stories about protesting in Washington and working with men and women of all backgrounds to achieve some measure of social justice. He becomes a preacher in 1963 at the age of 20 to follow in his father's footsteps. One Sunday his church was bombed; he rallied the community and showed love and compassion during the aftermath, inspiring the local community to help catch the perpetrators. His unique experiences allow him to cultivate lifelong friendships with a variety of people. His inspiring and positive nature keeps him getting up out of bed with a smile and spring in his step each day, constantly looking for ways to make life better for his community and his flock. In 1966 he marries Henrietta, an elementary school teacher; they have seven children, and over 20 grandchildren. In 1995, The Reverend is called to serve the Emmanuel Shiloh Baptist Congregation in Las Vegas and enthusiastically accepts the challenge of delivering the Gospel in Sin City. For just over twenty years he is a community favorite, and makes great strides in working with at-risk youth and the gang community.
