Fatally beautiful and most stunning in her goddess form, Aphrodite is most loved and desired by many. Her now platinum blond hair gives a glow that has an ethereal appearance to it and her lavender glass-orb eyes have swirls of silvery glitter that surrounds her cornea. Her skin, which sets her off the most, has a glowing ivory sweet-smelling tone. The garments that she wear will never be worthy enough to be worn or obtained by mortals and immortals alike; thin materials of the finest silk that are colored by platinum and of the palest pinks. This goddess is very much envied by all so she is not afraid to flaunt herself just to make others jealous. This is the ultimate form Aphrodite's in and it's hard for others to achieve her purest kind of beauty.
Weapons:
Bow and arrows of love- arrows that shoot down on anyone, making them fall in love or hate with themselves or one another with a passion. It can even damage the person fatally, if one chose to.
Golden girdle- underwear worn to make one look beautiful and even more desirable.
Poisonous golden apple- given to a fatal victim to ingest; it slowly deteriorates the body until one shrivels up to nothing.
Vail of desire- a pink thin silken shaw that one wears to make others fall for them.
Scepter of Venus- a platinum colored staff that gives mystical powers to animated and inanimated objects; to help benefit them or to make them worse.
Powers:
Aphrodite can make people fall instantly in love with her, themselves, or with each other. Aphrodite possesses the conventional physical attributes of the Olympian Gods. Like all Olympian Gods, she is immortal. She has not aged since reaching adulthood and cannot die by any known conventional means. She is immune to all known terrestrial and/or unknown extraterrestrial diseases and is invulnerable to conventional injury. If wounded, her godly life force would enable her to recover with superhuman speed. Aphrodite does have some superhuman strength and her own Olympian metabolism gives her far greater than human endurance in all physical activities.

Aphrodite seems to have more abilities to tap into and manipulate mystical powers than most goddesses. Like all gods, she can toss off lightning bolts, teleport through worlds such as from Earth to Olympus, endow mystical properties on people and objects and change and alter her appearance. Foremost in all her abilities is her ability to stir up emotions of devotion within mortals and immortals, even gods not native to Olympus. She can mentally cloud the perceptions of those mortals who see her and even stir and manipulate the emotions of weak-minded individuals. She can be powerfully charismatic and manipulative; with one kiss, she can force any mortal or immortal to do her bidding.

History

History of Anette/Aphrodite

Aphrodite is the daughter of Zeus, Supreme ruler of the Olympian Gods, and Dione, his eighth wife who was a Titaness and goddess of fertility. After Hera became queen of Olympus, many of Zeus's loves left Olympus with Leto taking refuge on the island of Delos where Apollo and Artemis were born and Io eventually fleeing to Egypt after being turned to a cow where her son Epaphus was born. Dione fled to the island of Cythera where she finally conceived Aphrodite. Swimming in the sea later there led to the later myths that she was born from the foam of the tides. Dione instructed the wind-god Zephyros to carry the young goddess Aphrodite to Cyprus to hide her from Hera’s wrath. Aphrodite hid in a mystical forest, unknown on the world map, where she was tended by caring nymphs that helped her grow up properly. When she was of age, the nymphs carried her off to a clearing near Olympus where Zeus caught sight of his daughter. He immediately beckoned her to join him with the other gods so she could live a very fruitful and powerful life. That's why there were a lot of misconceptions with how Aphrodite came from the sea and then was hoisted up to Olympia.

With her arrival in Olympus, Aphrodite was immediately barraged by the male gods of Olympus wanting to claim her as a wife. Zeus feared that the gods would fight over Aphrodite's hand in marriage because of her unparalleled beauty but was advised by his own wife, Hera, on how to handle the matter. She petitioned her own son, Hephaestus, the smith-god, in order to marry Aphrodite in order to quell some of the bad feelings in their relationship. This union however was much to Aphrodite's disapproval; Aphrodite was most displeased to be married to the lame blacksmith-god although she appreciated the many baubles he created for her. Most people thought she was narcissistic because she didn't chose her own husband as the ideal man to be with, but Aphrodite had more deeper feelings and meanings then that. She treasured love and desire so much that Hephaestus never fit the bill as "the one" for her. To put it simply, the two of them never clicked; he never appreciated her enough to say that he truly loved her and she never went passed his looks. They remained on friendly terms and became the best of friends but to keep the gods happy, they remained married out of convenience.



A lot of people believed that she had numerous love affairs because of her lustful qualities. In actuality, Aphrodite was enamored by many suitors who could never obtain her worthiness. She simply thought that they were never good enough for her "high standards". To make themselves feel better and look good after the honest let down, they created tons of story scandals, saying that they had heady sex affairs with her. An angry Aphrodite punished them severely by vanishing them off of the face of the earth but it still didn't quell the mass circulation of people's gossiping mouths. The only realistic affair that she had was with Ares, the god of war. She was "smitten" by the powerful god that she successfully wooed him into her "tender trap". Instantly, they had secret liaisons with one another, trying to make it their top priority to see each other. As time went on, the both of them fell out of "love", which was really lust, for one another, seeings that Aphrodite took her love spell off of him because of trust issues and that he was getting too frustrated with being tied down by her. They both went their merry separate ways and Aphrodite quickly went back on the dating scene as "available".

Aphrodite still has yet to find her true love and the person she will claim as the one. A lot of suitors still chase her down for her presence and love but they unsuccessfully fail, as usual. The only time Aphrodite let down her guard was when she was with Ares but even that didn't last long; she still didn't see him as the one for her. The time they consumed together was nothing but pure lust that sizzled to nothing. To wrap things up about her history, Aphrodite is and will remain the most beautiful, desired, treasured, valuable, and worth fighting for goddess. She reigns with a fist of love and will not tolerate anybody who abuses and misuses love. She will go to drastic measures to keep peace and love in the balance of mankind. In the name of natural beauty and most pure love, Aphrodite is the one who keeps the universe feeling cherished and loved even when it's at it's lowest moments.
