Personal Description: Kuma is short for a male of his age, standing at only 5' 3, with a slight frame and an odd, seemingly unconscious habit of moving about lightly, producing little to no noise, in spite of his typical manner of bouncing around. He fits many of the typical bishounen traits such as: silky, flowing hair, long, slender limbs, and more prominent eyelashes. This, combined with his normal mannerisms and baring, adds greatly to his appeal as a host. With his light-blond hair, his bright blue eyes, and his ever-present radiant smile, Kuma's appearance has been described by some of the host's customers as that of "an angel", or, by one, "an anthropomorphic ray of sunshine".
Kuma is never seen wearing the school uniform, and indeed, may not even own one. Instead, his usual attire consists of his white frilled dress shirt, always with a freshly-picked rose in the pocket, comfortable slacks, and spotless dress shoes. Despite this blatant dress-code violation, neither the student council, nor any member of the faculty, have ever brought this up, exactly why this is the case is currently unknown. In fact, he doesn't even know he's breaking a rule. "Unlike some, I like the way I look. Not to the point of being egotistical about it, at least I think I'm not egotistical, though I suppose that most people who are egotistical don't think they are. Anyways, I'm still happy with myself."
Personality: Kuma is outgoing, energetic, happy, and hyperactive, not to mention his habit of occasional unnecessary verbosity. He is quick in both thought and action, and even quicker to switch between trains of thought, leading to many instances in which he speaks and acts in non sequiturs. In sharp contrast to this, he is actually very intelligent and possesses an eidetic memory, leading to him doing quite well in school. He genuinely seems to like everyone, even those who act rudely towards him, and tries to make friends with everyone. He is however, undyingly loyal to the friends he does make, and would do just about anything for them. He is rather naive, and romantically clueless. In fact, he has a good deal of difficulty separating the various types of love which can lead to some awkward situations when he brings a friend a bouquet of roses "just because". Kuma also has an odd habit preforming cartoonish activities that should be impossible. Oddly enough, this tends to go either unnoticed or ignored by most others. Finally, he occasionally makes comments or actions that would be considered "breaking the fourth wall", were this a work of fiction. Of course, seeing how this is clearly not the case, most other people tend to just ignore it. "Yep, that pretty much sums me up. When is this character sheet going to be finished anyways?"
History: Contrary to his appearance, and his presence at a school for the rich, Kuma was originally born is a small town to a lower-class family. This only lasted until Kuma was two years of age, when a mysterious blaze overtook the town, burning the whole place to the ground overnight. Exactly how Kuma managed to be one of the few survivors, while the rest of his family perished, is unknown, and he himself does not remember the incident. Regardless of how it came to be, the young Kuma was sent to the nearest orphanage. While many potential adopters were drawn in by his cute appearance and ludicrously cheery personality, they decided in the end to go with other children instead, whether due to his insanely talkative nature, or they were eventually creeped out by just how cheerful he was. Finally, in a bizarre turn of events, he was adopted, at the age of ten, by the boss of the local mob who, for reasons he refused to talk about, was unable to produce an heir. Since then, he has lived quite the luxurious, if occasionally dangerous, lifestyle. For his highschool years, he has been sent to Riverdell Academy. "I actually didn't mind the orphanage, but dad and his friends are awesome, so I don't regret a thing."
Extra: Kuma is in the habit of breaking into song a minimum of once per day, usually with inexplicable musical accompaniment. Oh, is this the part where I get to sing?" And then the character sheet was finished. "Aww."
