Description

Charles Lemieux

Age: 21

Birthdate: January 15, 1714

P.O.B: France

Residence: Palace of France

Nationality: French

Mother Tongue: French

Known Language(s): French and English. Some Spanish.

Role: Prince of France. Soon to be King.

Family: L'Aurore Lemieux (Wife), King of France (Father), Last Queen of France (Mother/Deceased)

Secret: Hardly a secret, it's practically the talk of France. Anyone that is anybody knows that Lady L'Aurore has a child well on the way. How exciting this must be for the Duke! Assuming that it is his child, of course. Is it? It's too soon to tell and the Prince grows suspicious. But wait, the gossip doesn't end there. Turns out that the Duke might have a bed on the side; with that kind of power and looks to seduce, who wouldn't? No one knows for sure.

Face Claim: Jonathan Rhys Meyer

Personality: “Poor Lady France, married to such a heartless thing.” some say. Others believe that the warmth of Charles's heart is untouchable and that the cold January day he was born upon, is to blame. One thing is for sure, his personality is not an easy one to bare. He carries himself in a way that would seem almost stern and rigid. The only emotions that he easily expresses is his hotheaded anger and bullheaded stubbornness.
The only thing that could penetrate his hard-shell is his beloved wife. Their marriage, at first, was an awkward and unloving one, that is, until she grew on him. Her forwardness and way of challenging him was attracting. She also puzzled him at times, which was a bit amusing to him. The truth of the matter is, he's in love with her. But even then, that isn't enough to stop him from his bad habits of flirting and occasional foreplay. He takes pride in the power he has and bares no shame in it. Although at the end of the day, these women are all just a pawn of his game and know that they could never grasp his heart the way L'Aurore has.
Aside from his more unattractive qualities, he can be charming and alluring. He also takes much responsibility for the role he will soon have to take up. When it comes to his duties, he is well prepared and concentrated.

History: Charles Galileo II Lemieux was the King's third wife's (Previous Queen Of France, Now Deceased) child and the King's supposed “first son”. He was given his father's first name as his middle name, making him Galileo the second. He was born on January 15, the year of 1714. He does indeed have a brother that is from his father's blood, but was conceived by one of the palace servants. This would've been bad for the King's image if he was to make a servant's child, the next King of France. So the King sent the child and his mother away, never to be heard or seen from again. Charles has never met his “other brother” and as far as he knows, he doesn't exist. Being raised as the only child, Charles became the King's treasure and was brought up in his spitting image. At the age of 15 he was to be married to a young girl of royalty by the name of L'Aurore Le Beau. As beautiful as she was, Charles didn't care for her much at that time. He did what had to be done as prince of France. His mind was more fixed on his studies and what he thought was “more important”, he saw her as what his father saw most women, a container for a child that will continue the chain of his royal blood, a boy to be precise.
But things took a turn as he grew to know her, watching her day by day and spending time with her. Not only was she beautiful, but smart and different. Charles always liked different and because of that is why he is so fond of her. He was like a fly caught in her web. Now at the current age of 21, he proudly awaits a child that his beloved ,future Queen, will bare him; hopefully the future prince of France.
