What a waste of time. Another ridiculous class that was filled with some old man in a suit talking about stuff he didn't honestly care about. At this point he didn't even care about it anymore. He just wanted to skate and forget about it. He wanted to forget about everything. Existing, others existing; stuff like that. His life felt like a joke that everyone was laughing at. He wanted to wipe the smirks and laughs off of all their faces.

He headed outside to the courtyard deciding to skip his next class. They wont miss him. They wont notice. He began to skateboard across the field doing tricks every so often. A sudden feeling of anger came over him for some reason. That happened pretty often. Usually when he felt someone was the next victim. He sat down and thought to himself giving a slight smirk. He took out his phone knowing that it was time.

"Yo. Meeting right now. Meet me in the courtyard. Don't care if your in class."

It was time to assemble the Rule of 7. Time to finally move his plan a step forward. After pressing the send button and relaxing once. He couldn't remember the last time he had a good sleep. Sleep was something he gave up on a long time ago. Every dream was just filled with dark shadows and ridiculous whispering. It bugged him.

[TXT - Kitty: Yo. Meeting right now. Meet me in the courtyard. Don't care if your in class]

Her body ached from disuse, the area above the fresh wound covered in plastic to prevent any... added discomfort. She hadn't attended classes since yesterday, let alone text anyone in Rule of 7... or see them, for that matter. Being bed ridden and trying to deal with your own wounds were just part of the fun. Her iPad buzzed from it's spot on the shower shelf, the word 'Kitty' popping up on the screen. A small smile played on her lips before dissolving. Ah, it was addressed to everyone...

Turning off the shower, Meg drew her attention to typing some sort of message back, just to Gato. No one else needed to worry, right?

[TXT to Kitty] [I'm in the shower. I'll be out eventually. I need to deal with something before meeting up.
]

If he had an issue with it, deal. It's not everyday your number one rival ends up getting to stab you. Meg sighed as she peeled off the plastic, wincing as she took an alcohol wipe to it briefly, before gazing it. She had emailed her teachers that morning to gather a few days of make up work, just because there was no way in hell she'd be going out to class in pain.

She threw on a quick outfit, heavy black stockings included, and then putting on her slippers, Everly was out the door and heading to the courtyard with her iPad.

[TXT to Rule of Dork] [Ayeee dorks, last one theres rotten blood! (haha, im taking off for awhile so im not even gonna complain this time, feeling lucky yet? no? well, tough! im a fluffy teddy bear/penguin. FEAR ME)]

Aha, successful diversion accomplished... Right?

"Boys and girls of every age, wouldn't you like to see something strange? Come with us and you will see this, our town of Halloween. La la-la la, Halloween! Halloween! In this town of Halloween~" Putting down the needle and thread, Lucas admired the new pattern he had just created on his hand. Nodding to himself, he felt his iphone buzz. Unlocking it, he saw that it was a txt from Gato, he wanted to meet with everyone.

Smiling happily Lucas stood up in the middle of class and exited. Neither the Teacher or the students said a thing in fear of what would happen. Skipping merrily through the halls of the school, Lucas sang happily to himself. Suddenly, Lucas stopped in his tracks.

Looking at the clock he saw that it was time for class. But wasn't he just in class? "Wait~...What was I going to do again?" Lucas looked honestly confused. Why did he leave class? He knew it was something important, but what.

"Mr. Anglade!" Lucas turned around to face a Teacher. Lucas tilted his head as he tried to figure out who he was, but Lucas never had a good memory to begin with, so why try? Lucas stared into the man's eyes and could see that the Teacher was trying to avoid his.

He's scared? Lucas gave an innocent smile at the thought. The Teacher most of noticed as he took a step back from the boy. Coughing a little he looked at Lucas, "Mr. Anglade why aren't you in class?" Lucas paused and thought for a minute.

Why wasn't he again? Lets think. Lucas remembered he was about to fall asleep in his advanced Math class, as usual. When he heard his phone buzz, and than... Snapping his fingers his eyes widened once he found his answer, "Because I gotta go to the courtyard~! Thank you for reminding me Mister! Lucas did't even allow the Teacher to speak as he continued toward the courtyard. The Teacher just stood there in shock.

Making his way down a flight of stairs, Lucas had exited the building and made it to the courtyard. A bright smile spread across his face as he felt he had made a great accomplishment, "Gato! Lovely Gato! Guess what?! I got here without getting lost this time!" He said this like a small child, wishing to be praised.

But Lucas realized that no one was here yet, or he couldn't find them. Running around the yard Lucas searched for his teammates, "Where are you guys? Lovely~ Rosy~ Yoru~ Meggie~ Gen~ Mue~ You guys! Hmmmm~ Where are they?" Lucas was getting bored but he knew if he left, Gato would get very mad at him, and he didn't want that. So he decided to seat himself up on a high tree branch.

Settling down Lucas laid back on the tree and stared kicking his legs back and forth, "I will wait here for them~" Humming loudly to himself, Lucas watched below so when he caught sight of someone he could quickly meet them.

Class was half way done but Genki wasn't paying much attention. He was quietly sitting in the back with his nose in a new book he brought at the book store recently. He had been dying to read this book because it was the latest release from his favorite author. It was a horror book, that was really all he read were mystery horror novels and he loved them. The teacher in the front was talking his lips off explaining the lesson and Genki caught bits and pieces of it but nothing that may have help him on his homework tonight. Suddenly his pocket vibrated and his eye twitched out of annoyance.

Reaching into his pocket, Genki pulled out his cell phone and looked at it. After reading the text message from Gato, Genki sighed and swiftly stood up closing his book which made a rather loud noise. Genki didn't look up at the teacher who had shock written all over his face and most of his classmates. Letting out a sigh he tucked his book into his desk and just walked out without the teacher saying anything at all. Making his way down the hall Genki shoved his hands into his pockets, his whole demeanor changing. He hit the steps and calmly climbed down them his hair turning from it's regular inky black to a snowy white.

He cracked his neck and passed a teacher who just stared at him with an odd expression on his face. The teacher looked as if he wanted to say something but when he turned around, Gen was gone, nowhere to been seen. Entering the courtyard Gen made his way over to the benches, he sat down and leaned his head all the way back so he was looking up at Lucas, his eyes voided from any emotion, just staring. "Yo." was the only word that escaped his lips.

Yoru was in, quite possibly, the most cringe worthy classes in all of Springward Academy; at least, in his mind. Filled with loud teens and a teacher who couldn't care less whether or not anyone passed the course. Even then, he still did his best to make it seem as though he enjoyed the class, as though he actually cared about what anyone around him was saying. Of course, that is exactly what they all believed. Soon enough, Yoru felt the familiar drowsiness that came with overuse of his abilities.

He asked the teacher if he could leave for the nurse's office, claiming to be feeling ill. And, being the "good" student that he was, the teacher believed him. He briskly walked out of the class and towards the nurse's office. He admitted himself into one of the open beds and shut his eyes. All he wanted was an hour of sleep. Heck, even half an hour would have been nice. Alas, he was soon awoken by the sound of his phone vibrating on the table beside him.

Yo. Meeting right now. Meet me in the courtyard. Don't care if your in class

It was a text from Gato, probably letting all the people in the Rule of 7 know about the sudden meeting. Yoru sighed with annoyance. Technically, he never agreed to join the group, though he never disagreed either. It was rare for Gato to call eveyone to one location, and even then Yoru would usually not attend. But something told him that this time was something important and Gato wouldn't forgive him if he missed out on it. Resting would have to wait. He dragged himself out of the bed, staring at it ever so longingly, and immediately went to the window. As he looked through the window, his phone vibrated once more.

Ayeee dorks, last one theres rotten blood! (haha, im taking off for awhile so im not even gonna complain this time, feeling lucky yet? no? well, tough! im a fluffy teddy bear/penguin. FEAR ME)

This time it was from Gato's second hand, what's-her-face. He didn't remember her name, he didn't have her in his contacts list either. The reason he knew it was her was because of the style the text was written. Only one person who has his number would text him in such a manner. "Wait. How the heck does she even...? I swear Gato is the only one with my number." Yoru said as he rubbed his temples. Why he even bothered to give his number to that strange guy was beyond him. He turned his eyes to the window once more and noticed two of the seven already gathered in the courtyard. There was one in the tree and one below the first. It would appear people were already gathering up.

Yoru teleported just to the outside of the glass window and proceeded to flash-step just to the edge of the courtyard. From there he walked up to the other two, but did not greet them. He never really was a people person, even around what could be called "friends". The only time you could see him being overly social would be when he's trying to deceive someone. But he didn't really have to put on an act around the Rule, did he? Besides, it was tiring and he didn't get to sleep. In the end, he sat on a bench underneath the tree and pulled out a portable game. It was definitely more entertaining than talking to people, at the very least.

[color=#b30606]”Ah yes, yet another day of wistful plotting and unearthing human emotions!”[i][/color] Was the first thing Mue thought after ecstatically skimming over the text message in the blink of an eye. Albeit he was openly displaying his phone in the middle of calculus, his teacher had gotten to the point where he no longer ridiculed the lost cause of a boy. The fact that he pulled his own weight- and the highest grades in the class, gave him enough leeway to abstain from listening. A few students stared at the boy as he energetically pecked away at the phone keys, not even having the common courtesy to mute the sound eminated with every press of the button. Before the teacher could muster up the courage to scold the careless boy, the bell rang throughout the school, notifying students that it was time for their next class.

Most students would be nailed down to a crossroads at this point. A debate between attending his next class or playing what he perceived as hookey. A strife between moral right and wrong. Well, just so happens that Mue had a free the proceeding. Yet again the benevolent mistress known as ‘Fate’ paved a path for the student to live his days swimming in leisure. By no means was he lethargic, as he was constantly guided by a feeling of proactivity and the constant thirst for knowledge. He stood up from his seat and quickly checked the contents of his messenger bag. His main point of verifying was to confirm if his notebook was present, which it was. Being in a school of students with abnormal abilities, Mue’s was generally ordinary. Well, it was well hidden and didn’t directly affect himself or others. Unlike a few of his comrades who had that little extra power in their step, or maybe the ability to change their appearance, he could only sense how others felt through the medium of his project flame. Following the beckoning of his leader, he finalized his response;

[i]”Yo! En route, sorry I might be a minute or two behind the others! Better have some coffee there.”

He arrived at the courtyard with his hands stuffed into his pockets, a slightly slouched figure and a smile stretched widely across his face. It was his usual laid-back personality, that minescule molecule of purity caked in hardened blood. Albeit Mue wasn’t the one doing the murdering, he had the tendency to play around with his comrades’ prey. He’s the most innocent out of all of them, yet at the same time he was the weakest. The student happily paced his way over to the congregating group, most of which were present. He glanced around at the surrounding hallways, then faced Gato in particular, ”A little conspicuous meeting out in the open, isn’t it LL? What if some haunty rule enforcers waltz by and see us huddling around. But I’m sure nobody would want to approach high tier students such as us. I’ve got a student council meeting later today, got any requests?” He leaned back and waved at the rest of the present rule, flashing his iconic easygoing grin. I’m sure all of us here have had a pretty swell day so far. I’m sure LL will brighten it even more.” As Gen arrived, Lucas instantly delved into interrogating him for the name of his female company. Mue would be lying if he wasn't slightly intrigued as well, as it was a little uncharacteristic for his white-haired friend to be so... tactful. Or lucky. Either could be used in the guy's case. The boy continued to glance around, waiting for Lovelace to jump into conversation.

Gato groaned slightly as his 'friends' began to gather. Sometimes he just wished they could be professional. They were a wanted criminal group with the over all mind state of a young teenager. Gato being the oldest naturally bugged them about it. No amount of yelling would fix them though and he didn't have the patience to keep trying. It was too much work and too much of a struggle.

"Look I don't have time for this. If ya ain't here, then ya ain't here."

He said hoping to break any currently unrelated conversations. They were giving him a headache for goodness sake.

"Alright look. Were going to have to step up out outcome, alright? We need more bodies dead. More blood spilled. More tags written."

He stood and folded his arms pacing back and forth in a straight line. He didn't want to be a dick boss but for goodness sake. How was he going to take over if he barely had anything.

"The killings have been low ladies and gentlemen. Tonight's going to be another red moon which means we strike, got it?" He cleared his throat. "I expect at least 4 bodies from all of you. Me on the other had, I'll be 'missing' some days of school."

Often, to keep suspicion off of his 'friends', Gato would take off for a few days and kill during the day. He also had a certain about of power he could contain before losing control, so he needed a creative way to get it out. He sighed and leaned against the tree.

"Damn..... It almost feels too easy now.... I wonder if the officers are giving up or if they are planning something stupid... Regardless, you all know how to kill and leave no evidence so i expect nothing but the best."

Yoru was not as distracted by his game as it had seemed to the rest. Well, he was playing with the focus of someone who was on his way to complete goals and achievements, but he made sure he was devoting at least 40% of his attention to what was going on around him. After all, this group of people, albeit unruly, were definitely not the kinds of people you wanted to let your guard down around. Soon after Yoru had arrived at the meet up location, there was this random female who had asked Genki for directions. She was... interesting to say the least. He never saw her around before, so she was probably a new face. Some transfer student or something. Needless to say, Genki had walked off with the girl in tow, presumably taking her to the main office.

Soon after he had left, pinky had arrived on scene. Rosalind. She had entered with a cheery salutation, but was not greeted so happily in response. Well, she recieved a reply from the tree-dwelling male, Lucas, but that conversation ended right there. After that, Genki had returned and soon Muekiya joined in. Somewhere in between all of the nonsense, Gato himself arrived. Or perhaps he was already there, but was somehow hidden? Yoru wasn't entirely sure, but he could tell from the irritated groan that he was not pleased with the groups actions. Well, who would be? In the end, we're all just a bunch of misfits and degenerates who decided to follow him. That being said, he's the one who chose us. Ultimately it's his own fault for choosing such a disorganized group of people. Yoru thought to himself.

Once Gato had begun to speak, Yoru quickly shoved his game into the pocket of his pants. To quote something from the game he was just playing, 'There's a time and place for everything, but not now.' Yet, despite Gato's ever so... inspiring speech about the lack of murder and lack of tagging, Yoru couldn't help but let a yawn escape. He wasn't able to sleep, after all. But there was one contradiction in Gato's little spiel that Yoru couldn't help but point out. "Erhm. Yo, Gasteau." Yoru called out, referring to Gato. It wasn't that he mispronounced the other's name or didn't remember it or whatever, he just couldn't care less about trivial details like that. "You say not to leave any evidence, which is all fine and dandy, but then you also want us to leave some tags? Don't get me wrong, but that's evidence too y'know?" Yoru continued blankly, yawning in between some words.

Yoru stretched his arms upward a little before standing up on his feet. He stared blankly at Gato and held out his hands in a shrugging motion. "I can't speak for everyone when I say this, but I'm still trying to live a semi-normal life here. Unlike some of us, most of the school isn't aware that I'm a part of the Rule and I'd like to keep it that way, y'know?" Yoru shook his head, continuing, "I mean, I'm fine with killing and all. It's not like I've got anything better to do, but four? That's a tall order there, boss. We've been in the clear so far, upping the ante now could have some consequences."

*The Beast is Red

Her greeting with the group was cut rather short. When they were meeting, normal conversations never really happened. Even when Lucus tries to make it happen. She really liked him though. They still talk to each other when they weren't with the group. But Rosalind has a like a second group of friends that she hangs out with when she isn't in the Rule of Seven. They are all normal and don't suspect anything from her. They don't know or understand the full extent of her powers. They have never seen her completely as the the demon that is harboring inside of her. They remind her to stay human. Rule of Seven wasn't like that. When she is sent to kill people, she starts to lose her sanity. Rosalind hasn't complained because she doesn't complain. She never complains. She just does as she's told. It's not that she doesn't like killing people, the demon just enjoys it a thousand times more and it will kill her.

"I expect at least 4 bodies from all of you. Me on the other had, I'll be 'missing' some days of school." The demon inside her grinned and her body started to ache. He wanted to take over her body and get started on his mission right away, but she was fighting for the control. No one would have been able to tell that she was in pain, for the smile was still on her face. Finally. I think we should kill off all your friends. The beast inside her chuckled. Killing them would bring way more attention to her than necessary. She needed to keep them around. It was the only way to make sure that she wasn't caught.

Her focus was back on Gato. The mission as always was kill and leave no trace, but the tags. The tags changed depending on the killer. Rosalind like leaving a seven right behind the persons ear. The best liked to car the word 'seven' on the victims lips. But lately she hasn't been able to tag people the way she likes. Rosalind was losing control of her abilities and he was taking over more often than he should. She doesn't even know if she can kill four people this time. Then Yoru spoke out against their leader. Rosalind could never do that but he had a clear point. Being normal was Rosalind's highest priority. But it's not like she could do anything about it now. She agreed to kill people and that is what she is going to do. "Four people won't be a problem." The smiled still on her face. "And I don't mean to sound like I'm ditching, but I'm starting lose some control. May I be dismissed?' Her body was aching and red was pooling into her pink iris's. The beast inside of her was trying to come through and she was losing the battle. Four people won't be enough Rosalind. And you know that. By the end of the day she could have killed up to half of the school, but she won't know until she has shed blood.

Gato groaned as he rubbed his temples. "Look the tag thing is needed. You have to leave them. And you've been doing fine with the no evidence so far. So shut up and keep it up." He said before slowly turning his back towards them. "Don't you think it's a bit too late to be speaking of normalities? Look don't get me wrong, I'd love to continue my pointless life of getting no where with nothing as much as the next guy but we have bigger things to deal with." He then smirked before turning back and looking at Yoru. "However, your more than welcome to go on and live your normal life Yoru. Leave us if you want. But I hope you know that as soon as you say the word that your out, your no longer safe. And you know just as I know that you don't want to get on my bad side. Up to you buddy."

Gato always had a feeling that one day he would have to turn on a friend or two due to their betrayal. He wasn't sure which one or how many or when it would happen but if that situation would come, he would show no mercy just as he does to everyone else. He hoped he wouldn't have to though. After all, they were all his friends.

He dropped his skateboard and placed his foot on it. "I'm gonna get to work. If any teachers asks where I am, say I'm sick or something. You know the drill. The crimson moon will rise tonight. I expect you all to do as your instructed." He said before skating away. "Later!" He yelled out to them as if they just finished a casual situation. He then turned forward catching a glare. "Meg where the hell are you? Dammit.... Fine. I'll just go to your place and tell you the plan." He had given that girl far too many liberties. He knew that out of everyone she placed the least amount of tags. He didn't appreciate that one bit.

"However, your more than welcome to go on and live your normal life Yoru. Leave us if you want. But I hope you know that as soon as you say the word that your out, your no longer safe. And you know just as I know that you don't want to get on my bad side. Up to you buddy."

Of course Yoru was more than aware of the consequences one would face upon desertion. That never had to be explained, it was just something that was noted, but never spoken about. Yoru took in a deep breath before letting out a long, exasperated sigh. Lazily, he adjusted the beanie on his head. "Though I admit that there are times when I feel like ditching is an option..." He muttered to himself, quickly glancing around to ensure that no one was able to hear it.

He once again took out his game and looked at its screen. In his absence from the game not much had actually happened. In this kind of game, nothing would happen unless the player inputted actions. If only life were as simple as the game. There would be predictable algorithms and movement patterns for each and every sentient being. There would be minimal options on where you could move, but ultimately have a linear plot where you would eventually trump over everyone else. To put it to comparison, real life was simply like an unpredictable game with one life.

Shoving the game back into his pocket, Yoru turned towards the other members of the Rule around him. "So..." He started. He was never sure about how to talk to the others, despite being together for a decent amount of time. "What's everyone's plan of approach for this? Anything fancy or interesting going through your twisted and obscure minds?"

" Wasn't I amazing Gen~"

Genki looked up at the blonde boy with a small soft smile that spread across his lips. "Awesome." he simply stated before patting the boys head. "Hey. Hey, Gen. Who was that girl with you? She was really pretty, was she new? I haven't seen her before...She seemed...sharp~"

Slightly laughing at the boy's assessment, Gen nodded and opened an eye too look at him. " She was rather sharp wasn't she? . . . . She is new, though I didn't catch a name. It's kind of odd for some one to be transferring here in the middle of the semester isn't it?"

"Look Gen. Do you like the colors? Aren't they pretty~" the boy said and Genki simply looked down at the coloring. "Hm, it is good, could use a bit more red though." he stated with that same small smile upon his lips. "Or maybe a bit more pink? Either would do."

Upon hearing Gato speak, Genki only closed his eyes again and leaned his head back once more in a more relaxed position. He listened carefully and kept quiet, it's not that he couldn't speak out of terms if he wanted too, Gen just didn't feel like it. Once the conversation ended and so did the little dispute between Yoru and Gato the white haired boy stood up opening his eyes and running his fingers through his hair. "Sometimes that little brat can be such a handful." he shrugged and shoved his hands into his pockets. "You guys wanna pair up tonight? Since he wants us to kill more people . . . I suggest we take some precaution. If one were to get caught or into some kind of trouble, we'll have someone to back us up. " he said in an unusual calm and eerie tone that sounded just like the voice he always used. He waited for a response, it was better to travel in packs or at least two's to watch out for each other because he knew Gato wasn't going to. He was just another pawn in someones game like they all were even if he did think himself all high and mighty.
