Yoru was not as distracted by his game as it had seemed to the rest. Well, he was playing with the focus of someone who was on his way to complete goals and achievements, but he made sure he was devoting at least 40% of his attention to what was going on around him. After all, this group of people, albeit unruly, were definitely not the kinds of people you wanted to let your guard down around. Soon after Yoru had arrived at the meet up location, there was this random female who had asked Genki for directions. She was... interesting to say the least. He never saw her around before, so she was probably a new face. Some transfer student or something. Needless to say, Genki had walked off with the girl in tow, presumably taking her to the main office.
Soon after he had left, pinky had arrived on scene. Rosalind. She had entered with a cheery salutation, but was not greeted so happily in response. Well, she recieved a reply from the tree-dwelling male, Lucas, but that conversation ended right there. After that, Genki had returned and soon Muekiya joined in. Somewhere in between all of the nonsense, Gato himself arrived. Or perhaps he was already there, but was somehow hidden? Yoru wasn't entirely sure, but he could tell from the irritated groan that he was not pleased with the groups actions.
Well, who would be? In the end, we're all just a bunch of misfits and degenerates who decided to follow him. That being said, he's the one who chose us. Ultimately it's his own fault for choosing such a disorganized group of people. Yoru thought to himself.
Once Gato had begun to speak, Yoru quickly shoved his game into the pocket of his pants. To quote something from the game he was just playing, '
There's a time and place for everything, but not now.' Yet, despite Gato's ever so...
inspiring speech about the lack of murder and lack of tagging, Yoru couldn't help but let a yawn escape. He wasn't able to sleep, after all. But there was one contradiction in Gato's little spiel that Yoru couldn't help but point out.
"Erhm. Yo, Gasteau." Yoru called out, referring to Gato. It wasn't that he mispronounced the other's name or didn't remember it or whatever, he just couldn't care less about trivial details like that.
"You say not to leave any evidence, which is all fine and dandy, but then you also want us to leave some tags? Don't get me wrong, but that's evidence too y'know?" Yoru continued blankly, yawning in between some words.
Yoru stretched his arms upward a little before standing up on his feet. He stared blankly at Gato and held out his hands in a shrugging motion.
"I can't speak for everyone when I say this, but I'm still trying to live a semi-normal life here. Unlike some of us, most of the school isn't aware that I'm a part of the Rule and I'd like to keep it that way, y'know?" Yoru shook his head, continuing,
"I mean, I'm fine with killing and all. It's not like I've got anything better to do, but four? That's a tall order there, boss. We've been in the clear so far, upping the ante now could have some consequences."
