§ . e y e s . dark auburn brown
§ . h a i r . light brown, wavy, length to her bum
§ . h e i g h t . 5' 6"
§ . w e i g h t . 125 lbs
§ . p h y s i q u e . slender, feminine
§ . s k i n . sun-kissed with bronze undertone
§ . s c a r s . none
§ . d e s c r i p t i o n . Slender, a seemingly gentlewoman with equally gentle curves. Her eyes are deep brown, but still piercing and soul-searching. Attentive, they say. Yvonne is known for her obnoxiously long hair, of which fluctuates from a light auburn to a deep dark chestnut. It is worn straight with slight waves and ends at her bum, but she does know how to put it up in elaborate designs if she so chooses. It's just easier for her to leave it down after she gets out of the shower than to fuss with it. Her skin is a soft sin-kissed tone with a touch of bronze, as she often took advantage of the California sun.
As quiet and reserved as her words can be, Yvonne's style gives way to a confident woman that is in control of herself and her image. Unafraid to reveal herself to the world for all that she is, she can be seen pulling into tight form-fitting clothing that is often too revealing for the average woman. There is a science to how she chooses to dress and behave, and she has it down pact. Her make-up is minimal, often going for nude hues or a bright carmine lipstick with a cat-lined eye. Some people might describe Yvonne's attire as attention-seeking, but she has never been seen using it to her advantage. At least, not in front of anyone.
Overall, she is small and svelte, seemingly timid yet physically unabashed in being a vision of open sensuality. She doesn't look very dangerous at all. Maybe like a woman that likes to have a good time. Then again, those eyes - that blank stare void of any emotion. What do they mean? To some, they are frightening - almost as if looking into the eyes of a beast lurking just beneath this fleshy and bony cage. Something is there, or maybe it is not there at all. But no one is really thinking about that. Are they?

§ . t r a i t s . confident, perseverance, ambitous, thorough, calculated, mysterious, apathetic, blunt, scary, jealous, controlling, obsessive compulsive, time conscious
§ . f e a r s . loneliness, being uncontrolled, causing unintentional harm, humans, not having things done right can cause her great anxiety, being late
§ . v i c e ( s) . sex, and not much else
§ . d i s l i k e s . humans, big groups, tardy people, most other women (jealousy)
§ . i n t e l l i g e n c e .Yvonne was a semester away from completing her Master's program, before the Phoenix Virus, in business at Cal Poly. She is highly educated and comes from a wealthy and educated family that had access to money and the means to put her through private schools and universities.
§ . p e r s o n a l i t y . Let's start off with the good things. Yvonne is undeniably intelligent; her articulation is precise and her vocabulary vast. If she chooses to engage in conversation, she does so with confidence that the topic is not foreign to her. If it is, then she is not afraid to ask the right questions. Since she was a child, she had always been interested in entrepreneurship and always had a mind for innovation. Her father owned his own business that he built from the ground up and with about a thousand dollars in his pocket from when he migrated to America from Italy before Yvonne was born. After school, she often came to work with him as a small child in the unfortunate absence of her mother. From this, she learned that details matter, and to never leave a person waiting. Ten minutes early for a meeting is late, and twenty minutes early is especially heinous. Yet, on that same note, these little meticulous details that were passed unto her via the father would cause her a great deal of anxiety and stress both as a teenager and an adult.
Now onto the not so great aspects of Yvonne's personality. They say that our most successful CEOs are high-functioning sociopaths. Her father was no exception to this generalization, and unfortunately, neither is Yvonne. Her features express a great deal of apathy, and when she does open her mouth, the words that come out are blunt, hurtful, criticizing, and unsympathetic. She doesn't smile. She likes things done a certain way and will do anything in her power to have it done that way. Yvonne likes control. Complete control - of herself, of others. She will do whatever it takes to get it, just like her father. In a perfect world, had she not contracted the Phoneix Virus, maybe she'd be a great CEO of a Fortune 500 company. However, since the Virus, her abilities gave her the power of control with relative ease. That's why she has become so dangerous. With great power, comes great corruption.

§ . s t r e n g t h s . mental compulsion, telepathic, easy to get close contact
§ . w e a k n e s s . physically small, no combat experience, power works with touch and eye-contact simulteanously requiring close proximity to victim,
§ . p o w e r . Yvonne's ability is rather dangerous, as it penetrates the mind's deepest layers and wrestles for control. Command Inducement is the ability to forces demands upon a person via voice and eye-contact. For Yvonne, she still requires touch. This touch needn't be for very long - just a gentle finger upon a wrist or the brushing of a shoulder. What matters most for her is eye-contact. Locking gazes with her can be quite devastating, for there is something inside of them that insidiously reaching out through the power of her voice. It is almost like, one day, she will be able to move a person at will with just her eyes alone. At the moment, that is not possible. However, one day she hopes to remove touch out of the equation.
Secondary to her command inducement, she has some telepathic ability. It would seem that she can hear what others are thinking if she really concentrates, but even then, it's all a garbled mess. In crowded spaces, when anxiety or fear takes her over, she can be overcome with these loud thoughts. And since we are talking about a lack of full control, in moments of extreme sadness or anger, she can make commands without touch. It is almost like she is being taken over and the tendrils of telepathy are lashing out at someone and snaring them against their will. She can often make suggestions that she can not take back.
She is not in full control of her powers in any way, shape or form. Her telepathy is newly blooming, and no one knows where it will take her. Her command inducement can be uncontrolled, and at times, it can fail utterly. She hopes that she can one day command entire groups of people all at once, but that will be a long time coming.

However, Yvonne's birth spurred a great tragedy in the family. Her mother suffered from severe post-partum depression brought on by the stress of school and her emotionally distancing husband. The more he got into the business, the less kind he had become. It was almost like living in a house with a friend instead of a romantic partner. She ended up taking her own life. This would bring her father deeper into the realm of apathy, and he hired a nanny full-time to take care of Yvonne which led him to spend less and less time with his daughter.
She grew up in private school and with very little friends, much less any social interaction at all. Much of her time was spent reading, writing, studying, and just wandering about their obnoxiously large house with nothing to do. Her nanny became her mother, and she taught her a lot of things that mothers should teach their daughters. Eventually, she graduated from high school and went to a nearby school to attain a business degree at Cal Poly. Then she got her Master's degree. Much of her teenage life was spent at her father's business, helping him with smaller tasks and learning the ropes. One day, they said, she was supposed to take it over.
After graduation at the age of 24, she starting to work side-by-side with her father in his business. His business was a financial investment firm in Los Angeles and accrued millions of dollars. Her father was worth over a million dollars on his own. Everything was disrupted in the year 2022, when, during the first week, she began to get extremely sick. Her father did not pay her much attention even then, believing that she would just get over it. Her once Nanny, of whom was now just a maid in their multi-million dollar home, took care of her. She received in-home care by some of the best doctors.
She ended up dying anyway. Just when her father hired someone to start planning her funeral, she rose from this death. Confused and scared, she looked for her father. When she found he was nowhere around, she walked out of her home after ripping off everything - in her hospital gown and everything - and drove herself to his business. She disrupted his office meeting, grabbed his wrist, and told him that he should jump out of the window for not giving two shits about her death. He turned, ran, and burst through the window - ultimately falling to his death.
Panicked, Yvonne fled. She just ran, and ran, and ran... with nowhere to go and afraid of what she could do. Then she tested her growing theories on what was happening to her on homeless people, etc. When she figured out that she could tell people what to do, well - the power really got to her. She got clothes, an apartment, money, and everything she's ever needed this way - and it didn't matter what it would cost others.
She befriended a fellow "mutant", and they had a great friendship. She was pushed toward this support group by this friend. However, her pal did not survive the panic that swept through California. This left Yvonne alone in this support group, wanting to turn away but too drawn into what these people could do for her given the right... persuasion.
