a character in “Sabre's Mansion”, as played by WhySoSerious?

Description

o) Name: Saruban Fretar

(o) Nickname: Sabre

(o) Age: 138

(o) Height: 6'5

(o) Complexion:Fair

(o) Gender: Male

(o) Role: Guy 1

(i) Appearance (Picture+Description): Sabre has two forms. His normal form and his Tes'koi.

Tes'Koi
Image

Normal
Image

Weapon(s) (Optional): His main weapon of choice is his katana whom he named Sai. It is jet black with a red grip and guard, his name is carved onto the top of the blade. For long ranged attacks, he uses his custom designed throwing knives (same design as the katana). For sneak up attacks he will mainly just use piano wire, but the chances of him having to use throwing knives or piano wire is very low. Sometimes he doesn't even have to use Sai.

Abilities/Gifts/Powers: Since Sabre is a vampire he has all the skills a vampire possesses and more. But, being an original means he is practicaly unmatched against other vampires. He is especially speedy and agile, which is one of the reasons why the mortals call him Black Flash. He is an expert in close-quarters combat, martial arts and sword handling.

Likes: Sabre enjoys spending time with the countless females that come to stay with him, he'll be more likely to stick around them for longer than he would for the guys. He also has a deep admiration for wolves and eagles.

Dislikes: He doesn't particularly like ill-tempered or rude people. Also, people who undermine his authority. Sabre hates squirrels with a passion.

Personality: Sabre is quite a calm person who uses his sarcasm and wit to impress new people, but also just to provide a joyful atmosphere for everyone who lives with him. When angered, he will lock himself away in his room and let out several screams of fury. When upset or depressed, he will look to the comfort of women to get him through. He has his flirty times, his passionate times, his poetic times, etc.

If he is set out to kill someone, his whole attitude changes drastically, as does his form. He becomes cold and emotionless. He calls this Tes'Koi. His whole body becomes covered in red tattoos and a couple of scars appear on his arms and chest. When in this form, it would be best for everyone to stay clear of him, because in his Tes'Koi form no one matters. No one.

History: Sabre grew up in a high-class family. His father did some stupid job of 'importance', and his mother was unemployed. From birth he had gotten everything he ever wanted. Toys, bedrooms, weapons, etc. This went to his head a bit, and when he was a teenager he went through some drunken phase. He never went a night without enjoying the company of a female. His mother and father saw that he was going down a bad path, so they decided to send him to his uncle.

Outraged by his mother and father's actions, he swore that when he came back he would destroy everything they found comfort in, much like what they had done to him. So that was it, he moved into his uncles cottage and began a life without anything that he'd had before. After many years of going through countless lessons on how to handle a sword and close-quarters combat, he had finally learnt to be less ignorant. He said his goodbyes to his uncle, and was about to set off, but before he could leave he felt a certain pressure on his neck. Like someone had jabbed needles into him. He didn't have a clue what was going on, but that didn't matter. It dissappeared before Sabre could respond. All he saw was the ground getting closer, then it hit him. It all went black.

When he awoke, he found what he saw amazing. Everything was so clear, it sort of made his memory of the night before seem kind of foggy. He felt his neck and his eyes widened, it only stung a little bit but then he knew what it was. A vampire. No, no it couldn't have been. It seemed impossible at the time, but then he started experiencing things that normal humans would not. He was faster, more muscular, pale, and worst of all... his eyes were crimson red. Once he had finally got it into his head that he was actually immortal now, he thought about his parents and what he promised to do.

When he arrived back at the mansion, he approached his mother and father with a cold look on his face. His last words to them were, "I promised you that I would destroy everything you found comfort in, I was thinking of what I could do. The mansion? No, I'd have to live somewhere later on in life. Then I realised something. You, mother, focus solely on the perfection of your face. So, I'll destroy that. And you, father, are a lying cheater, so I'll leave it up to you to guess what I'm going to destroy". He did was he said he was going to do. His mother had the flesh ripped off of her face, and his father... Well, you can kind of tell what happened to him.

He took the mansion for himself, and randomly got the most pointless idea in the world. He was going to provide a place for people with weird abilities to stay. And so he did it. He wandered around the many towns and cities in search of people he could sense power from. Finally, he picked out 9 people and sent each one of them a letter that invited them to his mansion. The only thing he had left to do was wait.

So begins...

Sabre wandered around his mansion, admiring the portraits of himself and all the pieces of artwork he had dotted around the countless rooms. Overall, the mansion was very classy looking, the way Sabre liked it. He walked down the large staircase, his hands held neatly behind his back, and passed one of his servants that he'd nicknamed Kayrin.

Kayrin was his most loyal servant, almost a friend. He halted as he approached her, his bright crimson eyes looking down on her. "The new people will be arriving soon. The possibility of the whole nine turning up at one time is extremely unlikely. I will be waiting outside for them. While I am out of the house, I would like you to check on all of the rooms. Make sure they are clean" he muttered.

With that, he continued to walk until he reached the door. He placed his hand on the door handle and turned it slowly, taking in an unnecessary breath before opening it and stepping outside. No one was here at the moment, so he would have to wait a little longer than expected. "I wonder when they'll arrive... Hopefully soon, it's unnaturally warm out here. I don't like warmth" Sabre snorted to himself, keeping his eyes on the gravel path that lead in and out of Mansion.

After a few moments of waiting, Sabre shifted his weight onto his other foot and sighed impatiently. He turned to face the door and slammed his fist into the soft-ish wood. It wasn't hard enough to knock the door off of it's hinges, but it left one hell of a deep dent. Now that he was in a bad mood, he knew that he wouldn't be in any state to welcome the new members. He opened the door and hesitantly stepped back inside the mansion. He inspected the hallway for a moment or two, then proceeded to walk to his left and into the main living area.

The room was filled with bright colours. A mix of different reds all blended together in one creation of weirdness. He paced up to the fireplace and flicked the switch. After a moment or two of groaning and clanking, the fire finally started up. To his surprise, the warmth it produced was somewhat soothing. Sabre moved towards the chair and lowered his rump to meet it. He rested his elbows and his knees and clasped his hands together, then rested his chin ontop of them. He was bored and there were no women around to comfort him this time.

"Damnit.. They'd better come soon. I am not a patient man".

Imperium leaned against the door frame behind Sabre. His thoughts were so...different? One minute calm and collect, the next impatient and angry. She smiled to herself. I am not a patient man. No he is not. She was star led by the sudden motion of Sabre turning around and punched the door. She grabbed his hand, softly urging him to calm down. "Don't worry, they will come," she said, releasing her grip and following him inside. She stood watching him start up a fire, picking up on his thoughts. I am bored and there were no women around to comfort him this time.. She rolled her eyes. "Am I not considered a woman? Although, I am not to good at comforting someone." She slid into a chair beside him.

Sabre turned his whole torso around to face Imperium, a warm smile creeping onto the corners of his mouth. He clasped both hands on her cheek and gently rested his forehead on hers. "Of course you do, deary, I just didn't notice you at first. You know how short my attention span is," he mumbled in response, "Besides, you bring me all the comfort a man could ever want". And with that, he released his grip on her and stood himself up. Hesitantly, he paced back over to the fireplace and switched it off. The fire went away faster than it started, which always seemed to puzzle him. "Stupid fire. It only soothes me for a little while, then it starts to become annoying" Sabre hissed, his fists tightening into a clench and his muscles tensed as he began to feel the anger making it's way into his mind.

Before he knew it, his fists were covered in red markings and tattoos. He screeched slightly, then lifted his sleeve up to see the markings expanding over his body. "Stupid Tes'Koi, if you come to me now I will never awaken you again, got that?" he said to himself, his crimson red eyes narrowing into dangerously thin slits. "I won't have you scaring away the newbies".

Imperium brushed her hand along Sabre's arm, calming him down a little as he walked outside. It is Lilith, and an animal. she heard Sabre think. Is this a good idea? She heard from the newcomer. Another thought creeped into her mind. Sleep. Noise. Bad. Noise. Sleep. Imperium cocked an eyebrow. That must have been the animal that Sabre was thinking about. She watched as Sabre led the female inside. Curious, Imperium caught her gaze, fixating her eyes on hers. Did she have a strong mind? She urged her to hold out her hand so Imperium could shake it. She could see the girl hesitate, her hand wavering. She forced her more, urging, persuading with her mind. Would she do it?

(also sort of short, but for good reason)

Sabre sensed the tension inbetween the two and flinched. "Now, now. Lilith, be kind to Imperium, she is your superior" he muttered at the girl, then paced back over to the door. He peered outside and caught sight of a male walking down the long path to his mansion. "Ahh, it seems we have another arriving. They might all be here sooner than I thought". With that, he strolled back over to the fire place and slumped into a chair. 'I do hope he doesn't flirt with anyone here. My women are my women'.

Sabre had always been close to women, although he never thought about settling down with one. Some thought that maybe he was so close to them because he lacked a mother-figure in his life and so the only way to get through it was to cling to any women that turned up at his home. This was also one of the main reasons he'd shared such a strong bond with Imperium. Sabre had his flirty moments with her, but he meant nothing by it.

Now Sabre was starting to lose his temper with this girl. After recieving no response, he clenched his fist and stood up. "Apologise. She is your superior, if you direspect her then you'll have hell to pay. Got it?" he hissed. Sabre was not an ill-tempered man, but he hated ignorant people with a passion. He'd never known when he found her that she would be so disrespectful towards other people. 'Imperium, I apologise for her rudeness,' he thought 'please try to ignore it, if possible'.

The last thing he wanted was to anger his friend. When Imperium was angry, it made him angry. And full-on anger was something he couldn't have right now. Any feelings that would awaken the Tes'Koi were strictly forbidden.

Now he was at the base of the stairs. He admired the fine woodwork as he slowly climbed up the steps. When he made it to the door, he heard voices inside. They sounded a little harsh, and he wondered what was going on inside. He shrugged it off, and looked for a door bell. Not finding one after a brief search, he knocked loudly on the door. He remembered his earbuds, and pulled them out and stuffed them into his shirt.

Sabre walked over to the door and opened it, greeting Drake with a wave and a smile. "Hello and welcome to my mansion. Please do come in, we're having a pleasant little conversation in here" he mumbled, the last part of his sentence almost sounded like a deep growl.

"A good superior does not try and use someone as a puppet on there first meeting...nor do they go poking around someones head. It shows a lack of respect, witch is something I do not give out freely it is earned or taken away" Lilith interupted. He turned around to face Lilith and slammed his clenched fist into the wall. "First of all, Imperium cannot control what she hears. It's an unstoppable ability. Second of all, If you continue to annoy me, I swear to god I will beat you half to death, without holding back" his voice was definatly a growl now, his crimson red eyes narrowing more. "My apologies Drake, it appears you've walked into an argument of ignorance," Sabre apologised, his harsh glare focussed on the girl.

Drake's eyes were wide, and he was leaning back slightly. "Uh, don't worry about it. Nothin' I haven't heard before." He said as he entered the mansion. That last part was a lie, he had never heard such real sounding threats. He snuck a glance at the small dent in the wall, quickly returning his gaze to Sabre. His hand slowly made it's way into his pocket, wrapping around his knife. It offered a small amount of comfort. This man obviously had a temper, and he didn't know what to expect from it.

As he thought about it a little more, going over what Sabre had said. "It's an unstoppable ability." This confused Drake. What were these people, monsters? Now he was starting to wonder if he had been invited here to be lunch. His grip on the knife tightened, but he tried not to show his growing fear.

Sabre had watched Drake reach his hand into his pocket. He let a small smirk creep onto his face, then flitted to the other side of the room. Within a second or two, he had flitted past Drake and taken the knife from his pocket. Sabre knew that he'd moved too fast for anyone to have understood what had happened, so he lifted his hand in the air and waved the knife at Drake. "No weapons in this house, please put any weapons that you might have in the small pot besides the door. Any weapons that could bring harm to another person in this house whilst in a rage are strictly forbidden".

He then proceeded to walking towards the staircase. "If you'd like, you can go check your rooms now. They have all been decorated to look exactly like the rooms in your old house. Let me know if you find this uncomfortable, I can re-decorate the whole thing within an hour or so".

Drake patted his pocket. "What... what the hell?" This had completely taken him by surprise. Now he was convinced he was in a vampire's home, and he was the main course. Without his knife he felt completely exposed. He stared at is knife hanging in Sabre's hand, and sighed. "Alright. Fine."

He slunk off into the hallway, looking into open rooms as he went, until he recognized his old room. Walking in and collapsing on the bed, he stared at the ceiling. His head rested on hi back pack, still strapped onto his shoulders. The hard lid of his laptop pressed onto his back, and he wondered if he would be able to get internet to send for help. As he thought about it, it made sense that there wouldn't be any, and he was hopelessly screwed.

Sabre parted his lips to reply, but he could feel his arms and legs starting to tingle. His Tes'Koi was coming. A second later, he was behind Lilith. "Big mistake," he whispered in her ear, then gripped his hand around her neck and flitted outside. "I didn't want to have to fight on the first day of you being here, but you just seem to be asking for it". His grip on her neck loosen as he lifted her up, he pushed his arm forward which was just about enough to make her fall back a couple of metres. "I'm giving you one last chance, apologise or feel extreme pain. It's totally up to you".

Normally, he'd not lose his temper so easily, but he had already developed a deep hatred for this girl already. Hatred was what fueled the Tes'Koi, his most viscious form. Sabre had spent many years of his past life trying to lock it away, but it appeared all of his had work had been for nothing. This was it, it was up to Lilith now. Would she make the Tes'Koi come out completely, or would she apologise and have Sabre forget the whole thing? A few more seconds and he would have his answer, the suspense was exhilarating.

Sabre sighed, turning away from Lilith. "You're hopeless," he muttered, walking back into the house. He looked over to Imperium and smiled briefly. "I'll be in my room if you need me. Treat the new members nicely, though you can do whatever you want to that Lilith chick". Sabre then excused himself and stormed up to his room, where he locked the door. His face turned bright red in fury and he let out a loud, high-pitched screech.

After doing this for a few minutes, he felt that he'd let out all of the anger that he would have taken out on Lilith. He was glad he didn't, for he could sense how fiesty this girl was, and he enjoyed chatting with women like that. It was fun.

(Sorry, not as fast as you guys)
Lilith did have a strong mind, not as strong as Sabre, because she could feel the urge in Lilith's thoughts, but had a strong enough mind to fight it back. She would be hard to break through, but no harder than Sabre had been. The conversation was quite comical. She was going to speak up, but she just decided to listen, both to them speaking, and to their thoughts. She smiled to herself and fought back the urge to laugh. As always, Sabre tended to overreact, but mostly to do with his vampiric nature, and this...witch wasn't to bright, because based on Sabre's thoughts, he did want to snap her like a twig. Imperium regarded the newcomer man, not bothering to attempt the mind control thing on him to, in case he were to throw an irrational outburst like the witch over here.

The thoughts of the new one, Drake, where peculiar. His mind, she could tell, was oddly strong, not as strong as the other two, but strong for what was a seemingly normal monster. Which was another thing, based on his thoughts he didn't know he was a monster. Very odd. Maybe he was gifted in the mind, too, like herself. Either way, the thought of him thinking he was dinner did make her laugh. Lilith was overreacting too. All Imperium wanted to do was gauge how strong her mind was. And what better way to test it? "I'll be in my room if you need me. Treat the new members nicely, though you can do whatever you want to that Lilith chick"

Imperium's gaze shifted to Sabre, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. Time to give the witch a little piece of her mind, literally. She started to walk towards her, but was cut short as a broom swept in. (ha, get it. Swept, cuz its a broom? Yeah....) She watched as the witch zoomed off. Imperium frowned, but shrugged it off, walking, well more like at the speed of running, to Sabre's room, opening it slightly before stepping in.

"You need to work on your control. I mean, I know that witch was a bitch and all, and I guess I shouldn't have attempted to control her mind so soon, but you could have killed her." She let out an unnecessary sigh, her eyes fixated on his. There was no budging him at all by looking him in the eye. It was like trying to break down a brick wall with a feather. "Your mind is strong enough."

"You need to work on your control. I mean, I know that witch was a bitch and all, and I guess I shouldn't have attempted to control her mind so soon, but you could have killed her". This was what snapped him out of his miserable mood. "I know, darling, I know. I could have killer her, and I was about too aswell. But, I just couldn't bring myself to do it" he mumbled. He ignored her second comment because he was pacing around his room, frustration clear on his face. "I'll have you know that it is extremely hard for me to keep calm these days. I'm not like this, I'm supposed to be kind and caring. I can't threaten my house guests within the first few hours of them arriving. I just... Oh, it's all so confusing. And I'm pretty sure that Drake guy is convinced I'm going to eat him". One person disliked him and the other was convinced he was going to be eaten. Such a nice start to this little scheme of his.

All of these things were going wrong in such a small amount of time. Out of both exhaustion and distress, Sabre slumped onto his bed and placed a hand on his forehead. "I think I'm burning up," he said, trying his best to hold back a smile. It made him giggle to think of a vampire that actually produced body warmth. It was quite comical, in his mind anyway. He looked up to see a figure darting past his window every now and then. 'That damn witch', he thought.

Imperium crossed the room to Sabre in one long step. She laced her fingers through his, attempting to ease his frustration, and calm him. "I know it's hard. But your intentions are good. Without you, I would be wiping out the human population, the witch would be pissing people off in every town, and Drake would finally discover what he is and go bat-shit crazy." she said. The thoughts surrounding Drake coming from Sabre made a smile creep across her face. "He is convinced you're going to eat him, but that is because he doesn't realize what he is himself."

"I think I'm burning up," Imperium frowned and placed one of her ice-cold hands to his forehead. "You aren't burning up," she said in a definite tone. "You are experiencing minor mental breakdown, as a result of strain and overactive use of the frontal lobe of the brain, which is linked to planning, problem solving, and reasoning. This is also known as stress, or anxiety." She smiled. "You learn a lot when you are always picking inside of someone's brain involuntarily."

"Your intelligence annoys me sometimes, you know that?" he mumbled, lifting himself up into a sit. Before she could reply, he was at her side. "But I also find it quite attractive" Sabre whispered into his ear, then smirked and walked towards the door. Once he'd opened it, he turned back and winked at her before flitting to the kitchen. He quite enjoyed his little moments with Imperium, it soothed his anger and lessened it greatly. Atleast he knew that there was atleast one person in the house that he didn't want to stab repeatedly with a fork.

His crimson red eyes scanned the kitchen boredly, in search of food. It was then that he'd remembered where he kept all of his blood. "Ahh" he said in a cheerful tone, strolling over to the cupboard. He opened it and searched it for blood. After a while of rummaging through useless human food, he finally found it. A plastic bag that was filled with his favourite meal. Blood.

He placed his mouth around one end and allowed his teeth to pierce through the weak plastic. The blood oozed into his mouth and the irritating burning in his throat dissappeared. After he drained the whole thing dry, he walked over to the bin. He inspected the small grey box with a dazzled expression. Kayrin had recently bought one of those bins where you have to step on the pedal in order to open it. Sabre was completely useless when it came to things like this, so he soon found himself completely baffled. He lifted his foot in the air and kicked the bin several times, muttering and cursing under his breath. "Bloody contraptions, how the hell does this thing work?".

Sabre lifted his head up and almost all of his attention went from the bin to the door. He walked over to it slowly, placing the empty blood bag on the side as he went. He reached the door and reached for the handle, though he didn't turn it for fear of this person turning out like the last two. He didn't want to make a bad first impression or loose his temper.

After a while of debating the possibilities in his mind, he slowly turned the handle and opened the door. Within a second, his posture went from slouched to as straight as a door. Sabre moved his hands and placed them neatly behind his back. "Welcome to my home, Xander," he recognised her face almost instantly. He stepped to the side to allow her to enter.

"Ah, let me get that for you" he offered, walking behind her and pulling the bag off of her back (not violently). "What kind of a man would I be if I saw you were having trouble and I didn't help? An idiotic one, that's what". He held the bag carefully as he headed for the staircase, "I'll just show you your room now, shall I?" Sabre asked, but didn't even giver her a chance to answer before he spoke again. "Your room has been decorated to look just like your old room, so I do hope you like it".

When he reached the top of the stairs, he turned left and headed down the endless corridors, taking turns when necessary, until he reached an average sized door. "Here we are. I sure hope you remember your way here" he said, opening the door for her. Sabre watched her and waited for a reaction, hopefully it wouldn't be bad.

Sabre giggled childishly, lifting both hands up to clasp them around both cheeks. He brought her head forward and touched his forehead with hers. This was simply a sign of affection that he had shown to most women that lived with him. If someone was given this gesture, then Sabre trusted them. For him to have done this on a first meeting was extremely rare. Infact, he only did it so soon to Imperium.

He pulled away and smiled. "Dinner is at 7pm, don't be late. Until then you can go around and socialise with everyone. Lilith and Drake are out in the garden right now, and I have no idea where Imperium is. I'm sure you'll get along with them just fine" Sabre said in a soft tone. He turned his whole body around in one swift motion and strolled down the hallway, his shoes making a faint tapping noise as he walked. "Just make sure you have fun!" he called back at her.

"Your intelligence annoys me sometimes, you know that?" he mumbled, lifting himself up into a sit. Before she could reply, he was at her side. "But I also find it quite attractive" Sabre whispered into her ear, then smirked and walked towards the door. Once he'd opened it, he turned back and winked at her before flitting off somewhere. Imperium had grown to understand Sabre, but even his thoughts sometimes baffled her. She smiled to herself and picked her way towards the front of the house, sensing another mind.

It was strange, people's minds. When she first encountered Sabre she hadn't gotten anything from him. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Nadda, not even a single thought. However, when she first met him she didn't even realize she was a vampire. She then developed the power, and her head hurt for days. But then she could finally understand what went on in Sabre's mind. Controling him, however, was another thing. Even with physical contact, she couldn't completely control him. More like, persuade, or encourage. And they she could meet a very weak mind, that practically screamed its thoughts to her, and begged to be controlled. She even found a human so weak, that she could control him without eye contact. It was a a vary weak baby.

Imperium found her way to the kitchen, also feeling that burning sensation in her throat. Her normal blue eyes where turning into a purplish scarlet color. She decided not to steal from Sabre's stash, so she Slipped out one of the windows, heading out into the night in search of prey.

Imperium got the slightest, tiniest whiff of something....glorious. Mouth watering. This sent, coupled with her thirst, made her drool in hunger, and she followed the scent. It wasn't much of a scent really. Barely much to it. But she could sense the mind also, which helped. Surprisingly enough, the tiny scent faded out, right in front of the mansion. How odd. Had a stupid human voluntarily offer themselves up dinner? She smiled at the thought but then noticed the person standing there. She involuntarily licked her lips, the burning thirst screaming from her throat. She inched closer, silent as can be. Whatever this was, human or not, it smelled mouth watering.

Then the cold hard thoughts hit her like a slap to the face. He wasn't normal. He was invited to the mansion. And he was worried about something like this happening. But she was thirsty, and had never felt an urge to kill this much before. She looked into the reflection of one of the windows. Her eyes were glowing red. She closed her eyes. Don't kill him, he is like the rest of us, he was invited here. But she couldn't help it. It was as if a giant hand was pulling her forward. Her first impressions were horrible so far. He smelled so good. And his blood would taste good. And Sabre might get mad if she killed this man. Don't kill him then. Fight it. He smells bad, horrible, rank. But oh so delightful. She was only a yard away now, and she stood frozen. Kill? NO don't kill. Kill. She was thirsty, and he smelled amazing, surely one dead body won't hurt anybody, right? She was going to kill this man.

Just then to door creaked open slowly. But it was to much. Imperium couldn't fight it. She flung herself forward, fangs bared, eyes glowing, a vicious kill sent into her features. "Sabre! Stop me!" She screamed, not really wanting to. She stretched her hands, ready to kill.

Sabre was strolling calmly through the halls when it hit him. That scent, that irresistable scent. "I wonder what that could be" he mumbled, then continued to walk. Seeing as he'd just eaten, he wasn't in the mood to go chasing food down. It was then that he heard a faint voice calling his name, then some other unfamiliar noise.

"Sabre! Stop me!" it called, and that set him off. He flitted through the endless corridors until he reached the commotion. What he saw was enough to stun him so much that he could barely move. Imperium was heading for a boy he couldn't the name of. He saw the crystals arise from the ground and huffed. 'Fighting, great...'. It didn't even take him a second to grip onto Imperiums neck and fling her back. "How dare you" Sabre scolded, his face bright red with anger. "Is this your interpretation of 'be nice to the new people'? Well, I certainly hope not".

But then it hit him again. Only it was stronger this time, so he assumed the scent was coming from that boy. "Ahh, I see now".

The thirst, and the smell occupied her every move, every thought. Driven mad by the scent she didn't even realize what she was doing. If she hadn't of been thirsty, it might have been a different story. But right now she was thirsty, and she wanted his blood now. she wasn't really taking in her surroundings. It wasn't until she was gasping on the ground did she realize that she ran into something hard and jagged. She looked up to find a barrier. And she smelled more blood. She held her breath, trying not to smell it, but it was overpower her. She had never felt so helpless before, driven mad with longing. In all honesty, she didn't want to hurt this...human? Was he even a human. Either way, she had no control of her actions right now.

She felt something grab her, and then throw her to the ground. Sabre. Good, now she can't kill anybody. Through gritted teeth she hissed out a few words. "Thirsty....I need....blood." She lurched out, eyes glowing red. She needed that blood. She breathed in. No, control yourself. No matter how tasty he smells, you must fight it. "Sabre, please get me a blood bag." She said, trying to fight the urge to repeatedly ram into the barrier until it breaks. She felt terrible. All the thoughts swirling around were either fear, relief, hatred....she was a monster. And she couldn't do anything about it.

Nathan felt his head swimming for a moment as he pressed his unsoiled hand against his forehead. The barrier was a lot larger than he had expected it to be and he could already tell that if he wasn't quick, he might pass out. He heard the sound of flesh meeting crystal and looked up to see the vampire had thrown herself at it without a moment's hesitation. From here he could see her eyes, glowing red and filled with rage and sorrow. It looked like she must have been thirsty and either caught a whiff of Nathan while out or perhaps this Mr. Fretar was trying to have him killed and using a starving and crazed vampire as a weapon. The latter of these ideas was quickly proven false as a red haired man he could only assume was Sabre came out of nowhere and threw the woman to the ground as he began chewing her out before turning and looking at Nathan.

"Ahh, I see now."

With the danger hopefully passed, Nathan pressed his bleeding hand against the barrier and began pulling the blood in through the wound, making the barrier look like it was melting as it began to shrink. As the barrier faded he couldn't help but look at the whimpering woman on the ground and feel a stab of pity in his heart. He took one decent sized orb of blood out of the stream going into his palm and shaped it into a shallow goblet, filling it to the brim and catching it in his unoccupied hand as the last few drops of blood was back in his body and the scratch on his palm closed. He stepped away from the door and approached the man with goblet in hand and a small smile on his lips. As he got closer, there was no doubt he was a vampire too. "Mr. Fretar, I presume. Nathaniel Creed, at your service. I apologize if my presence here has caused any... discomfort with your associate." He held the crystal goblet out to him. "Here. This should be enough to at least get her head on straight," he said, his eyes flashing to the corner of his eye to see if she was still lying there.
