Weapon: She learned early how to use a quarter staff and usually beats everyone in the village whenever competing with it.

Personality: Kari is your typical young woman, she is pleasant enough if a little odd sometimes. She has a habit of daydreaming and is often found alone in the woods around Bale simply staring off into the distance. But although a little odd she has many friends thanks to her warm heart and sense of fun and adventure. She dreams of something more than normal, dull village life and is often talking of adventures and leaving Bale. But deep down she doesn't really mean it, like most of her friends she is frightened of the big world out there and would never leave voluntarily.
Background: Kari was born in Bale but does not remember her parents as they disappeared shortly after her birth, she is often curious about them but has accepted that they are never coming back. Another woman in the village took pity on the abandoned baby and took her in raising her alongside her own newborn baby. Kari grew up in this household happy and wanting for nothing. Though poor the family always worked together to ensure they all had enough to eat and theirs was a happy enough life. Kari of course grew to see this family as her own and became especially close to her adopted brother Ash. Though dis similar in looks they were very alike in personality and were often caught together creating some mischief or another, frequently to do with them creating adventures for themselves. He was not bothered by her odd habit of daydreaming.
All of this changed however when the family discovered that Kari had been chosen as the Sacrifice, the passion and spirit seemed to go out of them though none bar Ash even considered going against the decree. Ash bitterly fought against it, until Kari herself made him see that there was nothing he could do and that he should take care of his family.
Kari though frightened and not ready to die has accepted her fate, she wants to help give a good harvest so that her family would continue to have food on their plates.
