GENERAL INFORMATION
Role: Officer
Nickname(s)/Alias(es): Liz
Gender: Female
Age: 33
Love Interest: None
APPEARANCE
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 180lbs
Build: Muscular
Eye Color: Green
Hair Color: Blonde
Scars/Tattoos/Piercings: Small scars on her right arm and side from shrapnel. Tattoo on her left shoulder of the regiment she was in over her family crest.
Preferred Clothing: Cargo pants, camisole with a nice set of matching brown suede, rabbit fur trim boots and jacket. She has a permit to carry a concealed weapon so its nearly impossible to find her without her gun. Right now she's carrying a camelpak with water and energy bars. A main and backup side arm, several clips, a long handle flashlight, lighter and cigarettes.
MENTALITY
Oddities: Liz still has a habit of dropping to the floor if she hears any 'loud bang'. A hard habit she learned in the military and hoped the academy would help her break. She smokes in stressful situations even though she's trying to quit. As a result her voice is slightly gravely from all the smoke. She always fiddles with her gun holster when she's nervous or aggravated.
Fears/Phobias: The dark, losing family, feeling helpless/weak
Likes: Coffee, a full clip, a good joke, adventure. And dogs.
Dislikes: The sound of gunfire, tight spaces, and smart asses, running out of cigaretts
Personality: Liz can come across as intimidating with her strong build and short hair. Almost nothing dentures her from focusing on a set goal and she snaps at anyone who distracts her from that goal making her appear as though she's a no nonsense hard ass. In truth she used to be the comedic type to always joke in an attempt to lighten a situation. She still knows how to smile and will expose the softer side of herself when its needed, only now she is not as open to do so in front of people. Not unless she gets to know them first. Despite her acting very much like she's always on the straight and narrow she can't help but enjoy taking a few risks every now and again.
COMBAT
Fighting Style: Elizabeth is very strong and with the training she had in both the military and police academy can take down just about anyone her size. If she can see what she's up against she is very capable of holding her own be it with a gun or her bare hands. This doesn't mean that she's an ultimate fighter. With her bulk there is a challenge with keeping up with more agile opponents. If she can't see what she's fighting, no amount of training will help her.
HISTORY
Relationship Status: Engaged
Family: With six brothers she was the middle child. Only two are still alive; one older, one younger than her.
Personal History/Background: Elizabeth grew up with several brothers giving her little room to develop her feminine side. Like her brothers she ended up joining the military as soon as she was old enough. To the family it was a right of passage since raising several children the parents with too little money to put them through college. Liz became the military equivalent of a vehicle mechanic figuring that once she had finished her service that she would help rush the family car shop. Things didn't go as planned and by the time she got back almost everything; including her parents' home was lost to debt collectors. All but two of her brothers had died in the line of duty and their father was diagnosed with cancer in the time that she was gone. They had only barely been keeping the business afloat but with the sons away and the father ill, along with the mounting hospital bills there was little that could be done.
Distraught, Elizabeth tried taking odd jobs to help pay off the debt along with her two remaining brothers but not without running into issues with drowning her sorrows in alcohol. No matter how hung over she was she still managed to be at work on time. Once she had gotten a more stable job as a mechanic and most of the debts were paid off she started training her body. Pull ups and weights became her crutch as her father was still going through chemo. By the time the family and finances stabilized for her enough to step back and look at what she had done so far, she felt like she needed to change her goals.
She put herself through the police academy and is possibly planning to become an investigator. It was only a few months ago that a fellow officer she had met in the academy proposed to her. They plan on getting married in six months.
Elizabeth became friends with Aaron years ago. It was before she entered the academy when she was still a heavy drinker. After he found her drunk at a diner he was working at he snagged her keys without her noticing after she mentioned that she was going to drive home soon. Finding herself stuck at the diner and too wasted to call a cab she started talking with him once he was off the clock. He stayed to make sure that she sobered up before he was willing to give her back her keys. She was pissed that he took her keys but continued going to the diner to chat with him. It helped her take her mind off the long work days. Even when he stopped working at the diner they still kept in touch as they both went to the same gym and occasionally would spare with each other.
Now Liz almost considers him as a younger brother. When he asked her to come along with him and the others to the island she was hesitant as she was now a full fledged police officer. However she owed him for helping her those years ago when she was still struggling and eventually gave in. She owed him more than enough favors to turn him down.
OTHER: Despite her intimidating size and looks she wants nothing more than to let her hair down so to speak, act like her gender, wear make up and have a good time. If it wasn't for her soft facial features and large chest and rear she would be mistaken for a male. Or so she says. She also feels that she should lose some of her muscle tone in exchange for looking more normal and less like a woman training to be a body builder. She's grown sick of being called a dyke over the years and would gladly settle for a leaner build.
