"They'll never see it coming."
Personality: Charming and flirtatious, James will try to get with any girl--or guy--he deems worth it within a ten-mile radius. He's what a teacher would refer to as the class clown--loud, obnoxious, playful, and always cracking jokes at the risk of getting himself in trouble. He's not all bad, though. Behind his goofy grin, he's actually very deep and intelligent. His happy go-lucky nature is usually a cover up for a sadder inner self, as he had a bad childhood (see History). Lots of people never bothering to get to know this nature because they never bother getting to know the real him. Even though he tends to bounce from girl to girl/guy to guy, he's an honest soul and will never break a promise. He's has a distinct obsession with making everyone as happy as possible despite his own feelings.

History: James was born into an average family with a cool mom, a typical dad, an older sister, and a younger brother. As the middle child, he was usually the butt of his siblings' jokes and pranks, but he didn't mind it too much. He grew up pretty happy until things took a turn for the worst a little after his twelfth birthday. His sister got sick with a serious case of pneumonia. Not too long after, she died slowly and painfully in her sleep one night. James cried for nights after this, but nobody consoled him--everyone else had their own ways of dealing with it, basically by forgetting she ever existed. To distract himself from thinking about her himself, James adopted the form of drumming and singing. His sister used to sing him to sleep almost every night and so he picked it up pretty easily. Drumming was just a passion that came along with him and so he developed it by using it as a form of escape.
Not too long after, however, he and his younger brother began discovering things going on with his dad. It seemed off, so they started to investigate. Finding nothing until one day they came home from school to a trashed house. "What happened here? Looks like a twister blew through this place," Erik, James' younger brother, asked so innocently. James merely shook his head at the time. They called for their parents, only to finally discover their mother--shockingly enough to the both of them--on the roof of their five-story apartment building. She hadn't even batted an eye at them as they desperately called her name. She jumped and fell to her death on a car five stories below--instant suicide. They were devastated, traumatized, speechless. This is where James developed his fear of heights.
They didn't find out the cause of their mother's suicide until a whole six months later, long after her funeral and long after James, Erik, and their father moved to a new, small house of their own. Their father finally confessed to having cheated on her. Their mother had caught him in the act and flipped, going on a rampage through the house and finally ending up in the position they spotted her in. Though he was honestly beating himself up about it, they never looked at him the same way again.
When James finally received the acceptance letter to Saint Belle Academy of Music, he jumped at the chance to escape. His little brother was old enough to handle himself and happily saw him off as he started on his way to this prestigious school to finally build a brighter future for himself.
