The morning hits the grand windows of the School of Saint Kleios’ academy. Students roll out of their beds in their dorms some more reluctantly than others. To regular outsiders they look like regular high schoolers, to the well informed they know the truth.

They are clones.

Every student roaming these halls are clones of some historical figure, infamous and famous alike, the good and the bad and the in between.

The music halls are filled with songs their originals wrote. Books are being written that people once thought the authors wouldn’t be able to write again. New theories are coming out by scientists. Some clones do not yet know their place. Others know it too well.
The clones are well provided for with exquisite food to suit their taste from vegan, to vegetarian, and everything else. There is even a small salon where they can go to get a shave and a haircut or new hair style.
But there rumors going around about a few non clones, that for the first time since the academy was created, would be allowed in. Fear and excitement mixes with the ramble, some happy, some mad, and others unsure.

Though all know one thing.

This year will most certainly be different than the others.

Frédéric François Chopin woke up to the birds chirping out his window. He let out a soft yawn as he pushed himself out of bed and checked the schedule for today. He sighed as he looked at his first thing to do, his black wavy hair covering his eyes briefly. “…So today is the check up for me? I thought it was tomorrow…” he muttered his voice soft and light. He quickly took a shower and got dressed drying his hair with a towel before combing it and looking on his desk, mainly at the black sheet music there and seemed almost to have a scornful look on his face. “How can they ask me to write a new song on such short notice? There is no inspiration here… I am not even allowed to go into the park in the city… and the courtyard is closed off for renovations for another two days… which by then it will be to late…” he thought to himself. He quickly hung the towel to dry out and exited his room where he headed straight for the doctor’s office. He hated going there, always afraid they’d tell him his pulmonary tuberculosis has become active and there was nothing they could do. He still didn’t understand why they couldn’t just take the disease out of his DNA when he was cloned, but then again he was no scientist. He got outside the schools' main doors and made his way to the Doctors’ building, separated from the rest of the school. Notes of music flooding his head as he did so, though he’d yet found the right places for them. He saw in the distance the small salon run by one of the students, Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber himself and wondered what he was doing at the moment. “probably waking up like me, he is the early riser.” he thought to himself. He didn’t mind Sweeneys’ company in fact he enjoyed it, Sweeney was actually a very nice young man, though he sometimes did have an episode of anger. Then again who didn’t here? “After all we have been stuck in this school system for most of our lives…” he thought to himself as his mind then turned towards the rumors of non-clone students that may start to come here. “I wonder if that is true…” he wondered as he slowed his steps and rubbed his hand against a brick wall as he neared the doctors building, he knew he was just stalling for time, but he couldn’t help it. He always got a little afraid here. A slight shiver runs up his spine.

Sweeney Todd, The demon Barber of Fleet Street opened his eyes and groaned as his headache kicked in. “Bloody Hell…” he muttered to himself as he rubbed his head. This is not the fearsome Demon Barber himself of course, but his clone. “Ugh I stayed up too much last night reading that Penny Dreadful again…” he muttered as he let out a huge yawn and looked around his yellow eyes blurry, he was confused at his surroundings before he realized where he was, the penny dreadful in question was on his chest and in front of him was a meat pie from last night. “The salon of course… I somehow always wind up sleeping in one of the barber chairs when I stay here too late.” He muttered as he stretched his arms over his head and looked in the mirror. “…I look like hell…” he muttered as he say his wiry black hair sticking out of the place, the one white streak was of course messed up. He looked at his pale skin and the black rings under his eyes before he shook his head and took out his personal comb and sorted it out quickly as he went to his office in the salon and quickly put on an apron over his usual clothes and played the CD Player he kept on him to pass the time as he cleaned up for the next day. He frowned as the song started to play; it seemed someone had switched his CD with the sound track to Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. The song was on Epiphany, from the voices he gathered it was the Johnny Depp Version. He had seen the movie, though the teachers hadn’t want him to do so, thinking it might influence him in some way. He only sighed and let the music play, he liked the beat of the song. In fact he found himself humming it as he swept the floor clean and polished the mirror. He was cleaning when he bumped into a desk and knocked over a box. He immediately picked it up and checked if they were damaged, he flipped open the top and sighed in relief, the items of course were silver early eighteenth century straight razors, the murder weapon of the real Demon Barber. For a second a crooked grin crossed his face before he shook his head and took out two placing them in their holster on his belt. The song changed to ‘my friends.’ As he listened to it he heard the Actress playing Margery Lovett and tilted his head, “I wonder how she is doing…” he pondered to himself before shaking his head. “her original poisoned herself and because of that my original was hanged…though he did deserve it…will I end up like him? Will I be hanged? Did the original Lovett do it to incriminate my original or to protect him? Or did she do it for another reason? …there is no way to know the answers… we are not the same people after all…” he brooded to himself as he ran a hand through his hair and went back to his office and changed into his school uniform, just because he ran the salon doesn’t mean he was free from classes. “Oh yeah the rumors say non-clones will be coming here… they will probably think I am a monster… ah well.” He muttered as he headed to the door of his salon.

She was standing on the crows nest, the salt air blowing through her red hair. Anne looked at the galleon below her, at the people scurrying on the deck, they looked so small, like ants. Her green eyes fell on the blue waves of the sea, tipped with white foam and she let out a hearty laugh, turning her head sky ward. She was home! A seagull flew next to her, opened its beak and...BZZZZZZZZZTTT!!

Anne Bonny shoot out of bed with a jolt, cursing the foul noise rather loudly. She was furious! She had been HOME! On the sea at last, one with the sea even! She let out a frustrated sob, tears welling in her eyes for a moment before she chucked the alarm clock out the window. Anne quickly showered, brushed her teeth and got dressed before walking out of her room and slamming her door shut. She only turned around to lock it, before she stormed down the hallaway. She heard some non clones would be coming to the school, it didn't really bother her. She just hoped they wouldn't bother her to much. She didn't mind if they judged her on her originals past, she was rather proud of her past, she had been a feared pirate, one of the few female pirates.

But how was she going to live up to her originals name with no captain to guide her, no friend to be with her, no ship to be on. She wasn't even allowed outside the school! She slammed her fist against the wall in anger, she had woken up in a bad mood after that teasing dream. Why did she have to have that dream again! It always promised her things that would never happen. She didn't notice the other students around her, she just kept walking, shoving people aside when need be. Most of them stepped out of her way, the could tell Anne was in a bad mood, and when she was in a bad mood she had a tendency to get into fights with others. Recently she had punched out the two front teeth of another classmate who had insulted her, much like her original had at one point. The poor classmate had to go to the dentist to get a bridge for her missing teeth. But that was awhile back, and had sent a bit of a message to not mess with Anne...but it also meant that Anne didn't have many friends. She had no Calico for her Bonny, no Mary for her Anne...

Anne was thinking all of these things, she didn't notice the person in front of her, one of the students hadn't got the message to move out of the way it seemed. And she didn't see them until she slammed into them.

Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, or Caligula, was studying. He was always studying, whether it was studying for a subject in school or studying people. His insomnia had been particularly bad recently, and last night he was not able to sleep at all. He hadn't even changed out of his uniform from yesterday. Now he was crouched like a vulture over his Latin 5 book and his copy of Suetonius. But he was not studying for a class. He was studying to prove his dream. His dream that Caligula, his original, was not insane.

Frustrated, he sat back and huffed. Everything Suetonius said pointed to some sort of mental disorder. And in the original Latin, it all seemed to match. So it was not made up from translation errors into the English or anything. There just wasn't anything that pointed to propaganda. Gaius pounded on Suetonius' Twelve Caesars with his fist. "Fat lot you know, propagandist. One of these days, I'm gonna prove you wrong." He had worked all through the night, and his search had yielded nothing. He had also done this several days in a row, so he was tired, irritable, and disappointed. Not to mention hungry. He hadn't eaten all of the day before because whenever he had free time he had been studying for his Psychology test, which was first hour today. He had chosen Psychology as one of his electives so that he could have a good knowledge of mental aberrations and disorders when he read about Caligula. Gaius' eyes wandered around the room half in a daze, until they came to rest on his clock. It was still two hours before school started. Sighing, he got up and got ready for school.

When he had showered and changed, Gaius didn't bother drying his hair or combing it. He was too tired to care, so he just grabbed his bag and headed out. On his way to the main school building, he always passed by Sweeney's salon. Usually he avoioded it because Sweeney was constantly bugging him about his shaggy hair, but today Gaius was going to be very early to school, and he heard music coming from the shop. So he walked over to find Sweeney walking out.

"Hey, Sweeney." he said groggily. "Sleep here again?"

Penny smiled as she walked up the the school, her father talking to an administrator next to her and her butler Schultz carrying her luggage behind her. She wasn't really paying attention to the conversation other then the administrator acting like he was frustrated with her father. The school grounds were beautiful, trees and flowers everywhere, she knew she was going to love it here.

"Daddy am I going to have my own room or do I have to share with someone?" she asked, her father just waived her off and continued talking with the other man. Penny shrugged and decided to explore alone since her father wasn't paying attention to her, she opened one of the double doors and stepped inside. It was big Penny just looked around with her mouth agape, her parents mansion was huge but this was much bigger. She smiled really big and just started wandering the halls of the school. Thats when she came across what looked like a salon, she couldn't believe it how could they have their own salon.

She went to peep in the door of the salon and saw two boys in the room "Oh, hello my names Penny I'm new to the school I can't believe there's actually a salon in the school. It's neat but I would never cut my hair cause my daddy says my hair is pretty when it's long. So which one of you cut hair, I've never had a boy do my hair is that weird. What is this what that Oh boy what does this do!" she spewed out words and question like a faucet that was turned on to fast and someone was scrambling to turn it off but couldn't get it off. She stopped for a moment and slapped her hands over her mouth "Oh sorry sometimes I talk too much when I'm nervous" she said with a smile.

Always an early riser, but never one to take much of anything too seriously, Pocahontas had just been admiring something in the distance, something that she had already forgotten what it was. That morning had gone like any other morning -- careful waking, pulling at her long hair to get it untangled, brushing the mess, and fixing up her appearance, a little breakfast, after getting properly dressed, of course, and the normal hygiene routine -- but there was something she was feeling; she was feeling anxious, and she didn't have any idea why she was.

There were rumors: non-clones coming to the school, participating in the place she had grown up in, living along side them in the dorms. Was it all true? Pocahontas hoped so, in a way, if only to see what the real difference was between those that lived before and those that were living now. Did they laugh as happily as any of the clones? Did they play around and tease like the clones? Did they have mean ones mixed in? She would just have to find out. If nothing else, she knew they were all living, breathing creatures, all trying to get along on a basic level, all trying to survive, but she felt that the non-clone people were biased just because the clones were a little different. For some reason, that picked at her emotions more than it should have. It was probably the blatant racism that she found surrounding not only her past, but portraits of her former life. She clearly did not have English characteristics.

They weren't normal, weren't like the rest of the world, weren't natural births. They were a "threat" to the human race, and a liable one at that. How many other creatures thought on the same, if not a higher, level than every-day people? None that Pocahontas knew of. The clones, though, had the best and the brightest among them, and she relished in the thought of meeting greater minds every day. The modern world was simply amazing; technology and nature would always go hand-in-hand in her mind. Hearing the great thinkers of the ages come up with "smart" things just sent her into giggles; smart people were so fun.

She was suddenly pushed out of her deep thought when something hit her. It hit her hard. She, Pocahontas mentally corrected herself as she got a glimpse of another girl while plopping down on her bottom. Picking herself up, she brushed off her dress and looked to the other girl, brow furrowed in confusion as to why someone would bump into her. Had she made them upset? "Hey," she started to say in a slightly agitated tone, but she decided to deviate from her previous plan of chewing the other person out. "Something on your mind?"

Margery Lovett was angry. She had stayed up all night making her lovely meat pies again. She gas awoken with dough in her hair, which was really tangled to her dismay. Also the plain dress she was wearing still had her apron and was covered in meat stains. "Ah...Bloody freaking hell. I need to find another hobby...something less time consuming and dirty." She immediately jumped off her bed, suddenly feeling all of the overworked muscles. She rubbed her arms before making her way to her wardrobe and opened the mini closet, her clothing feeling duller than her muscles. She picks out a dusty pink turtle neck dress, pulling out a clean white apron. She also grabbed her other necessaries before making her way to her bathroom. Oh, how she was ready to take this shower. Turning the water on at a high temparture, but not enough to really hurt herself. She shredded herself of her messy clothing and hurried into her scolding shower. She let out a long sigh of content as she felt the hot water fall down on her. He felt so good and dot relaxed herstiff muscles perfectly. She didn't want to leave this feeling.

After fully scrubbing her skin and washing her hair thoroughly, she shifted out of the shower and dried herself. She put her still wet hair up in her towel before putting her new and clean clothes on her body. The dress actually looked refreshing on her, seeing as this dress had more color than the rest of the dresses. She threw her dirty clothes in a forgotten hamper in the bathroom before approaching her mirror, ready to work on her face. She took the towel off her head and shook out her now dry hair. Shaking it made her hair almost look like an Afro, with her hair being very frizzy. She quickly brushed hair as much as she can before pinning her hair to make better looking than an Afro. She quickly added on some blush, lipgloss, and eyelinrr before deeming herself worthy foelr the student body of misfits. Walking out of her bathroom and right out of her bedroom, she made her way to the cafeteria. She always loved helping the lunch ladies with cooking food. Her demeanor can be quite frightening, but past the sarcasm and rudeness, she actually quite nice. Before making it to the cafeteria, she heard music and saw Sweeney Todd and Gaius walk into the salon. She didn't despise Sweeney, but ever since she found out about her past and saw the movie where her original person was starred in, she got bad vibes from him. Deciding to at least say hi, she walks over and pops in slowly. She waves and scoffs. "I'm guessing you got my present this morning? Anyways...just thought I'd. Drop in and say hi."

Sweeney Todd turned around hearing a familiar voice and smiled before frowning, "Julius your hair is a bloody mess! Did you even comb it?" he asked him chidely with a shake of his head, "I swear you are as bad as Anne..." he remarked with a shake of his head before he smiled and clapped him on the shoulder, "It is good to see you though." he told him as he nodded his head in reply, "Yes I did, it is the damn penny dreadful I have. Keeps me up at night cause I want to know how it ends... It is called the string of pearls." he told him, it was an early book about The Demon Barber, his original. He heard the door open and grinned as he saw his friend Margery Lovett, "Marge! So good to see you! Yes I did and I thank you for it. You look absolutely lovely as usual, love what you did with your hair." he commented with a grin, he liked Marge though others found her mean he found her quite enjoyable, "If you want I can cut it for you at a discount." he told her. "Julius I'd give you a haircut for free." he added. Again he heard the door open and to his surprise it was a person he had never seen, though that didn't mean much he didn't know all the clones, usually they came here only every so often, they didn't like the history behind his original, some in fact thought he was trying to kill them when all he was trying to do was cut their hair or give them a shave. He heard her name Penny and as she babbled, putting to his equipment. He raised his arms up and tapped his fingers against each other a bit nervously afraid she was gonna destroy something when she stopped and apologized, "Ummm Pleasure to meet you Miss. Penny, to answer your questions, that is the coloring supplies and the mixing bowl, and the lathering bowl for shaves. Um it isn't that weird that you never had a boy do your hair, most salonist are girls, and I am the barber I do hair and shaves, I am Todd." He offered her not saying his first name, she'd find out soon enough, "You do look good with long hair, but might I suggest a trim or a hair cut later on?" he offered to her as he turned off the music, "pardon the music, I use it to pass the time as I clean and set up shop, or close shop." he told her.

Frédéric reached the doctors and sat there as they performed the usual tests on him. “You need a shot after school. Be sure to come here straight after class.” They told him. With a sigh Frédéric nodded and put his shirt back on as he walked out and opened the main doorway weakly, he felt very tired as he always did after the checkups. “wish I didn’t need them…” he said as he walked into someone. “Oh I am sorry!” he proclaimed as he saw it was the headmaster who was standing next to an older man, he heard Sweeney in the distants, his feet tapping out a beat to a song only he heard. He then turned to the Headmaster, “I may need more time on the music… I have been in a slump. I promise it will be ready in time for the cultural festival sir.” He told him with a bow as he started to walk away and towards the two females he recongized, Anne and Pochantos, "Everyone okay?" he asked them with a charming smile as he looked down at Anne, "Hope you are not hurt miss Anne." he commented as he bowed to Pochantos, "How are you doing Miss. Pochantos?" he asked, "I do hope you are well. It is no surprise that you are here early, but I must say it is a surprise to see you are up Miss. Anne." he remarked with a chuckle not letting on that he was worried about his upcoming appointment.

Gaius smiled slightly, then mock-shuddered. "Don't compare me to that red-headed lunatic!" he laughed softly. "And good morning to you, too." But then Gaius' brow furrowed when Sweeney mentioned The String of Pearls. Gaius was all about educating yourself about your original, but something about Sweeney doing so put him on edge. He opened his mouth to say something, but then Sweeney greeted Margery behind him. Gaius turned to see the baker presenting herself with her usual snarky manner. "Hello, Margery." he said. "How are -"

'Oh, hello my names Penny I'm new to the school I can't believe...' the brown-haired girl swept in with a rush of words and questions before Gaius could finish his question. He stared at her strangely. He didn't recognize her. And she said that she didn't have anything to be doing in the salon, really. So she must have just wandered in, which meant that she was probably a little ditzy. Gaius looked at Sweeney, who seemed very nervous. But then he recovered with his usual social grace and began to speak. Gaius smiled as he eluded telling her his whole name and gave her little hints with the music. It was all very fun, meeting new people. Speaking of new people, was this new girl a clone? Was she possibly one of the new non-clones? Now dying with curiosity, Gaius put out his hand for her to shake. "I'm Gaius, but you can call me Gus, or Julius, or Augi, or Cal." He grinned. "Or you could just call me Gaius."
