a character in “Saiyan Soul”, as played by Redred33mer

Description

Orion

Image

"May your spirit carry you far, and may you break this everlasting strife."

-Commander Rhubden

Description: Orion sports a variant of Saiyan armor, having shoulder straps and thigh guards colored with white and red. His pants are black, going down into his boots which are also black with a red tip. On his arm is a large, scarred scratch going from his shoulder to his elbow. His brown hair is spiky like most his race, but is distinctive because of four arching spikes of his hair symmetrically laid near the center of his forehead. His skin is pale, and his muscles are toned. The picture is also inaccurate in that Orion has no wristbands, headband, or bands around his legs. Orion does not have a tail, either.

Age: 19
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 201 lbs.
Sex: Male
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Brown
Blood Type: O-
Body Type: Heavy Weight
Adaptability Ratio: 8

Fighting Style: Hard
- While Orion does use his power for the brunt of his fights, the initial encounter with him can seem the exact opposite as he just sways back and forth with his arms limp, before he feels his opponent's rhythm and strikes out and engages with full force.

Race: Saiyan

Equipment/Clothing: Saiyan battle armaments as described.

Starting Power Level: 24,600

Training History: Most of his training was by a "learn through experience method." Not having much time to train formally, most of his technique has been sharpened and taken from battle, and when he was given the chance to train in a controlled environment, it was as brutal if not more so than his actual battles.

Biography:

Orion was born in the depths of space on a large spaceship in which the remnants of an old Saiyan army was kept on. The army had been on the run from attackers since forever, it seemed to Orion. At a young age, when it was safe enough to, Orion's father Rhubden and mother Kura trained him. His father, exceedingly tall with power level exceeding 40,000, and had the hair in which his son inherited. Kura, a bit shorter, had hair that was longer to the center of her back, with a captivating face offset by her rather muscular tone. Both wore the same style and colored armor as Orion.

His father had the trait of protecting those close to him with all of his power, even as commander of the army, and his mother did her best in dragging out fights so that the more powerful warriors could handle others, even stalling five or more enemies at a time. It worked as a rather successful combination, and the two, even with the feelings they held for each other, could not publicly admit to the feelings they had.

Upon birth, only some hours after delivery, Rhubden had the duty of removing his son's tail. It was protocol of the remnant army, to prevent Oozarus from roaming with utter ruthlessness, killing conceivably their own. Various times afterwards, when the tail regrew, he would have to have it removed again. The last time they did it was when Orion was five, but the boy had a vague understanding that it was necessary pain. However, to this day, he has never seen an Oozaru.

Because of Orion's age, he hardly had friends. There was no one else his age on the ship, and the harsh warrior-like attitude gave a coldness to the young Saiyan.

"Oh, c'mon maggot. It's not like that'll be the worst you feel, and it sure as hell won't be pretty soon if you don't just stop you're damn crying," Orion could remember one of the soldiers saying to him when he was only six, after training with one of the stronger warriors who was rather frivolous with his power. As Orion was pushed more and more into countless conflicts, he lost some emotion in hurting others, as exampled when training with his mother only four years before.

Upon training with Kura on the surface of a mainly desert planet, Orion finally came to a point his skill combined with his power level of 17,750, might be able to overcome his mother's power of 20,425. Upon grabbing his mother's fist in a seemingly clumsy state, he quickly and forcefully pushed his fist into his mother's shoulder and pulled on her arm, dislocating it. Sending a somewhat powered blast into her chest, he teleported in behind and kneed her in the backing, taking her by the hair and swinging her over head and into the ground. Letting go, Kura quickly got up and put her hand up to blast Orion away. She obviously wasn't prepared for the aggression her son brought, not having brought her full power to the front, and in putting her arm up, Orion appeared before her and planted his shin into her ribs, and unleashed an energy wave from his mouth launching her some distance away. Even against the wishes of continuing the battle from his father, Orion took his time in walking towards his sparring partner, until his father flew between him and her.

"What's the matter, father? As Saiyans, we should be preparing ourselves for battle, upholding our training with the utmost realism. Or is that just some fancy lore your soldiers tell?"

And then he was promptly knocked unconscious.

From then on, Rhubden handled most of his training and supervision. Even some of the soldiers turned away from him, not wanting to set him off. Some even perceived him as a psychopath. His new style of fighting was also developed, which starts off slightly humorous as he's hunched over with his arms just swaying back and forth, moving only if necessary to block something, until he found a way to critically strike and destroy his opponent. This was also the time in which their ship wandered into an alien lord's territory, Lord Vinsus. Some of his men would be lost in their initial encounter with the Saiyans, and Vinsus made it his duty to bring down the powerful army. Wave after wave, week after week, month after month, would be sent to slowly drain the army's numbers. A great redefining of Orion's power and skill happened as Vinsus' more elite warriors came to hunt the army. His form became as sharp as theirs, his power increasing with every battle, and even a few techniques were picked up.

When Lord Vinsus came to personally claim the Saiyans ravaging his empire, Rhubden ordered his son onto a space pod, and told him to leave. As a commander, and as a father, Orion had to obey, and the space pod took him off to preset coordinates, wherever they may be. It was then when Rhubden gave his final good words to Orion. Behind him, as the last sight of the ship he lived almost his entire life on, he could see it explode and shatter to stardust.

So begins...

Orion

"Arriving at destination in five minutes," the computer told its passenger. A small, personal space pod rocketed through space, heading towards what seemed to be a small temperate planet.

"If only I still had my scouter, I could figure out what I am up against here," Orion thought. "If only I had... direction."

The last of his father's words echoed in the back of his mind. They were powerful, but he didn't know if he would ever have the chance to "bring an end to this everlasting strife," or even how to start in achieving that. You could only become so strong and refine your form so much on your own. It took application to know whether what you were doing was useful.

But time would pass. People would be hurt, people would rejoice, people would live, and people would die. It seemed to be a recurring theme in Orion's life. Once you had lost everything, and been sent to the unknown, where do you go? It was something he would surely figure out, and quite soon as the computer began to say something.

"Entering atmosphere," it monotonously announced.

It wouldn't be but another few moments until the pod crashed.

A flying white dot loomed above in the skies. Heading towards a forest somewhat inland from a shore, the pod eventually crashed into the ground. Animals and birds ran away in commotion, as trees were tipped over form the impact of the vessel. A sizable crater was formed by its impact, as silence in nature consumed the setting.

"Opening pod entrance," the computer told him.

Sunlight flooded the ship's interior. Orion reached forward, grabbing the frame of the door and pulling himself out. He took in the trees, the plants, the blue sky, the Sun, and even the dirt. Walking up to the flatland his pod struck, he continued to look around. Unable to sense energy levels, he was tense and ready for an encounter. Perhaps some intelligent life here used cloaking devices, but he saw no sign of civilization. Taking a deep breath through his nose, he willed himself to relax, though he knew possible, and what he perceived to be probable, danger was around him.

"That way," he said to himself.

Orion began walking forward. He had no idea where to go, but walking on a one dimensional path would have him hard-put to get lost. Eventually, after walking for some time, he entered the open air of a grassland leading to a beach, which had him looking up and around once more.

Again, he saw no signs of any form of society. But that didn't mean no one may have noticed him, or that he should still try to be alert. In fact, worrying himself into a sort of paranoia, he turned to look behind him. He saw no one. He continued to make his way to the beach - perhaps he could catch something to eat; it had been some time since his last meals. More than just days. But for now, it would be ideal, he thought, to just observe. Not being the strongest fighter he knew or encountered, he had to be ready to adapt.

Orion

Everything around the Saiyan seemed at peace, everything in balance. The tide came and went, the trees seemed strong as their trunks were hardened from hundreds of years of living, even the crash of his ship didn't seem to really disrupt anything. All that was natural was strong.

"Perhaps my presence will destroy all that's here..."

The thought that crossed Orion's mind seemed to have stunned him, but he forced himself to drop it for now. He closed his eyes and he began to float, and soon hovered above the water some distance away from the shore. Turning to face the path in which he came from, a blue aura surrounded him as it flowed forcefully and uniformly, spiraling from his feet up to above his head. The water displaced, carving an elliptical depression in which the water rushed around.

Orion knew quite well that anyone that had the capability of detecting energy would most likely find him, especially when his energy may seem foreign to them. Additionally, everyone here might also be stronger. How much, he wouldn't know. Time came and went as deeper thought consumed the warrior's mind.

"If I was barely stronger than half of my brethren... perhaps I must fulfill the legend. But even the strongest I knew didn't achieve that..."

The young man let his power expand to where he naturally felt best, not straining himself to be his strongest but he was not suppressing his power. Looking among the land before him, he saw a large sort of barbaric man and his leaner companion emerge from the wilderness. Startling him, his flowing aura suddenly dissipated and the water crashed into itself, eventually leveling out. Already charged and ready for battle, one of the two released tension from his tail.

"Another Saiyan? Of all the most unforgiving things in the universe..."

Orion's encountered Saiyan hovered, his aura more embellished than his own. By the looks of it, he was easily stronger than Orion. If it was his full-powered state, then the fight wouldn't be too horrible. If this was just for show, then he might as well call it game. But it wasn't like him not to try. It was time to lure them in, and the challenge would be trying to get either of them to lower their power enough for Orion to cause serious damage. But even if he did, it wasn't certain that he would have enough energy to beat both of them.

"At least it'll be a fun game before I die."

Raising his hand up towards the two, a light shined from it. A simple, weak ball of energy shot up towards them.

Akiko

After the incident with the snow piggies had past and Akiko spent most of her time ether helping to rebuild the town or playing with the human children. Being much stronger than the other kids, and able to fly, Akiko couldn't help feeling a little cocky as they chased her about. The mini saiyan held herself back a bit to give the kids a chance to catch her, but it was still fun. The gleeful giggling of Akiko and her friends echoed through the whole village; causing many of the villagers to smile and shake their heads. Kids could bounce back quickly from nearly anything.

The little saiyan was still giggling as she landed on her giant brother's shoulder and hugged his head. "Big brother!" She chimed her usual greeting before peeking down at the boy climbing Grisha's leg. With a mischievous grin, Akiko blew a raspberry at the boy. Thus, he climbed all the faster. Lena's approach soon distracted the chibi saiyan though.

“Grisha, you are enormous. Even the children are treating you like a playground.” Lena said

“Grisha stronger!” Grisha answered proudly

"The strongest!" Akiko chipped in happily.

“If he gets any stronger, he won’t be able to fit in the house,” Tobias added.

“That means no more flurry cakes, Grisha,” Lena teased.

Akiko took this opportunity to peek down at the advancing boy. He was one of her best friends here in the village. The kid liked adventure and was pretty tough... for a human. "Common' Tigs!" The chibi saiyan called.

"Dun call me that!" He yelled back, prompting a fit of giggles from Akiko. Lena's next words quickly drew the little girl's attention away from her friend again though.

“You and Akiko should go eat. There are some hot cakes and toast by the Evergreen’s house. Now you two, I know you both have big appetites, but you must leave some for everyone else,” Lena said.

"Yay food!" Akiko cheered, throwing her hands in the air. The child expected Grisha to head right for the house. He liked eating as much as she did after all! So, his answer was enough to make the child's jaw drop.

“Grisha good. Grisha go find little brother,”

Akiko was stunned, but she recovered after a moment and nodded. If Grisha was tough enough not to eat, then so was she! "Akiko's good too!" The child called to Lena with a wave as her brother started off! Though she would rather have eaten, Akiko was curious to see what Blaze was up to, so it wasn't a total loss.

The chibi saiyan clung to her the giant's head as he jumped and let out a squeal of delight. It took her a few moments to realize that her scream wasn't the only one filling the frozen air. When Grisha stopped, Akiko peered over at her friend, whom her larger brother started rocking promptly.

"Oops..." Sorry Tigs." Akiko offered sheepishly. He would be okay.. right? Probably wouldn't go Grisha climbing again any time soon, but he was okay!

“Grisha and baby sister ready.” Grisha said.

"Very well. Give me a moment." Blaze answered.

As her smaller brother powered up, Akiko cling to Grisha's head once more. Through all her patch jobs, Akiko had gotten a vague idea of what Blaze could do... and she didn't want to get blown away! Sure enough, the wind and snow that Blaze's awesome energy kicked up made keeping her seat difficult, but by grabbing the saiyan's hair, Akiko managed to hang on.

"Teehee! That was grate!" She chimed happily.

Unfortunately, the chibi saiyan was then saddled with the boy as the two decided to race. "Haaayyy! Akiko wants to go too!" She whined. The other two were already starting the count down and bolting off though. Akiko barely had time to hover off of Grisha's shoulder with her package. As fast as she was, the chibi saiyancouldn't hope to catch up to her brothers while awkwardly carrying her terrified friend, and leaving Tigs there would have been just as mean as taking him along. So Akiko finally sighed in defeat and smiled at Tigs; who had calmed down a bit now that the drawma was over.

"Common' Tigs, Akiko will take you home for hot food!" And Akiko flew, carrying the boy over her head like an over sized basket ball. Tigs was reluctant at first, but by the time they reached the village, the boy was quite enjoying the flight.

"Akiko's baaaack!" The child chimed happily as she made for the food. If Grisha wasn't going to play with her, she would just eat his share of the hot cakes! Ha! The chibi saiyan had set her friend down and was was just stuffing a fork full of pancakes into her mouth when she felt a spike of energy that was nether Blaze nor Grisha's. "Otrsh!" She yelled through a mouth full of hot cakes.

There was no time to lose! Her brothers could be in danger! It could be another attack! Akiko shot into the air like a bullet and zipped in the direction of her brothers. Though, she hadn't put the plate down. In fact, the child was stuffing the remaining pancakes into her mouth as she went. Sure her hands would be sticky, but her stomach would be full before she reached the source of the energy!

The Saiyan was well-accustomed with running. In fact, running and bounding were his two main methods of long-distance transportation. Every booted foot that touched down upon the earth seemed to release an explosive amount of invisible energy that propelled him forward like a rocket. In his wake, the turf erupted into towers of snow, ice and stone that if Blaze wasn’t careful could make an obscuring screen and obstacle that could literally blast him into the sky, but his little brother had made sure not to be left in his dust. Grisha avoided the highest mountain peaks to challenge the ravines and frozen rivers. He tested his brother’s dexterity on the slippery terrain and couldn’t help the impressed smirk that arched on his face to see that he didn’t falter once—and here Grisha thought Blaze only knew how to fly.

The climate got warmer as they left the snowy north to head south into the summer heat. They crossed the ocean and as the power signature became stronger, Grisha’s brows rose in surprise when Blaze closed the distance to run beside him. It was astonishing to think that the Saiyan still had such energy left over.

It’s a Saiyan!

As Blaze fell back to his pace, Grisha gazed ahead curiously. They were approaching the shore and to spare him a sliding, destructive finish, Grisha swung his arms forward, while at the same time, he leapt a few feet into the air. The hesitation granted Blaze a running start before Grisha thrust his arms back and feet against the water. Another invisible volt of energy shot downwards to the ocean floor and back to Grisha’s feet, launching him on a geyser of water into the air.

Grisha’s landing was similar to an anchor being dropped, sending an obscuring explosion of dirt, sand, shell, and rock into the air to pelt the vicinity like rain. The giant’s shadow shown against the obscuring screen as he walked out of the crater, the dust parting around him like smoke. For being in a warmer climate, Grisha had been dressed for the cold. Fur and boar leather boots were upon his feet, and black trousers extended down his long legs, obviously tailored for his height and size. He wore a brown leather and fur vest, and not much else. It hadn’t taken much to keep the warrior warm for he was well-adapted to his frigid home.

Silently, Grisha scrutinized the young man before him. He hadn’t been any Saiyan he had seen before, and honestly, he didn’t know what to think of him. So far, Saiyans hadn’t been a threat. But then, Grisha noticed it. His brows shot upwards and eyes shrank a little in shock. The unpredictable action came just as Orion was raising his arm. The stranger probably didn’t expect it just as Grisha didn’t expect the warrior to suddenly attack. Grisha had near closed the distance when the shot was fired. He had stooped in preparation for his suspected assault, the ball of energy soaring over his shoulder and hairs passed his head. Grisha’s arms were spread wide before they swiftly closed on Orion, locking about the warrior in a...hug?

Straightening, Grisha wept tears of pathetic happiness, “NO TAIL! GRISHA NO ALONE!”

His hug gradually grew tighter and tighter in his infamous affectionate embrace...of death. “GRISHA HAVE NEW BROTHER!”

He made it sound like he was renouncing his current Saiyan family for the new “tail-less” family he was adopting.

Blaze wasn't expecting the new Saiyan to attack as he did, but at the same time he was expecting an entirely different reaction from Grisha as well. Blaze thought for sure Grisha would rise to the occasion and counter the attack with one of his own, and Blaze began to make a beeline for the other Saiyan in an effort to stop Grisha's attack. But Grisha did surprised him, and as Grisha wept tears of joy at not being the only Saiyan without a tail, Blaze couldn't help but shake his head heave a sigh.

"He means well, I promise! He's just a little… excitable!" He called to the poor soul caught in Grisha's bear like grip.

Orion

Almost as soon as he shot the blast up, a considerably large man hugged him; with the strength of an entire army. Orion grunted in pain as he squirmed and held his breath. Energy began to surge through him before he screamed, releasing the energy he had and pushing the man's arms outward in the hopes of freeing himself from the grip of this mighty bear. He then went to separate himself from the two, surrounded in an aura of his energy.

What kind of people are they?

They were clearly Saiyans; there was no doubt about that. But even after his weak preemptive strike, they hadn't done anything with the intent to hurt him. Maybe he was simply too weak to make a difference to them; that was a thought. But Saiyans that didn't rise to the occasion to fight? Surprising.

"Who are you, what do you want with me?" Orion asked, and edge in his voice.

The water beneath them coursed with strength, Orion's energy carving a depression in it again. He was maybe at half his full strength, and even then it was a challenge to break the grip of the other Saiyan.

Blaze watched the poor Saiyan squirm in Grisha's grip before miraculously managing to break it. Having powered up, it wasn't impossible to imagine it. Still, it was impressive. When the other Saiyan backed away though, still seemingly intent on a fight, Blaze floated in front of Grisha and put a hand on his chest.

"Ease up big guy. We don't need to scare him anymore than you already have." He said.

He then looked to the other Saiyan and floated forward a bit, raising his hands up to show he had no intention of attacking.

"My name is Blaze. The bear over my shoulder is Grisha. We've both lived on this world for quite some time, so when your energy suddenly showed up on this world we came to investigate the disturbance." He said, gesturing with his arm towards the ocean and the land on either side of him.

"This is a planet called Earth, if you didn't already know. It's a peaceful enough world with weaker inhabitants called humans. They have no serious warriors of note, save for the odd mutant or alien who makes their way here such as the three of us. But rest assured that nobody here is going to hurt you… At least, not unless you give them a very good reason to." Blaze said.

Blaze began powering up, but no aura appeared around him. Instead, he matched the new arrival's wave depression with his own of equal size, matching the Saiyan's power output as a display of equivalency and confidence.

"Again, nobody here is out to get you. But be warned, this planet is my home and I will defend it with all my power should you seek to cause it harm in any way, shape, or form." He declared, giving a slight one up to the new Saiyan's strength output by sending a mild shockwave out in all directions.

There was still no aura, but Blaze's little shockwave would give the newcomer a good impression of what he was up against if he made a wrong move. The depression below Blaze nearly doubled in size for a brief moment and almost overtook the one beneath the other Saiyan's before returning to the same size as before. Blaze was being honest that he wasn't here for a fight, but if the one before him made a wrong move then a fight he would have regardless of whether Blaze wanted it to happen or not. But there was also the matter of Grisha being right behind him. If Blaze looked to be in trouble, Grisha would be able to put an end to it rather quickly.

In fact, Blaze had almost forgotten to include Grisha in this conversation altogether.

"What do you think Grisha?" He asked over his shoulder.

Akiko

Akiko flew towards the three male saiyans as fast as she could, moving in a blur of black hair and blue energy. She felt the strange energy spike again, then blaze's energy. By the time the trio came into the chibi sayian's view, she was sure they would be fighting! Imagin her surprise then, when they were all just standing around. They were friendly then? Wait, that energy! Was that a... saiyan?! "Big brooootheeeers!" Akiko called out excitedly as she closed in on the group. "Who is it? wh-wwaaa!"

Unfortunately the child pushed herself a -bit- too hard in her attempt to reach her brothers as quickly as possible. This caused Akiko to lose control of her flight and, instead of landing nicely on Grisha's shoulder as per usual, the little girl plowed right into his shoulder before dropping to the ground like a rag doll. Hitting Grisha at that speed was like hitting a mountain. The child sat up slowly, a bit dazed, and shook her head, only to suddenly bounce to her feet and point to the new arrival like nothing had happened.

"Is he a brother?!" The little girl asked as she bounced on her toes in excitement. Is he?! Is he?! Hiii brother! Are you coming to live with us?!" Rather than wait for an answer, Akiko hopped back into the air and zipped closer to the strange saiyan so that, unless he moved, her face would suddenly be just a few inches from his own. "It Akiko! Who are you?!" She asked cheerfully. Clearly all concepts of personal space had been thrown right out the window.

Grisha’s arms were suddenly forced apart when the Saiyan exploded from his hold with a vexed scream. Defensively, he distanced himself and demanded:

Who are you, what do you want with me?

Grisha stared at the stranger blankly. Why was he so upset? He glanced at Blaze as he floated over.

Ease up big guy. We don’t need to scare him anymore than you already have.

The giant blushed in embarrassment and grinned sheepishly. “Sorry.”

As Blaze turned his attention to the new brother, he listened to his introduction and when he introduced him, Grisha didn’t waste time in raising his arms to show off the upheaval of muscle that swelled upon his torso. As Blaze continued conversing with the newcomer, Grisha’s hunger became more of a concern. His stomach was feeling stretched thin and he was regretting having turned down Lena’s pancake offer.

So hungry... he thought.

He turned toward the landscape and combed the grass and trees with his eyes, hoping that some sort of fruit or vegetable would be growing. Scuttling along at his feet was a red crab, clearly minding its own business and unaware of the large predator that was eying the foreign creature.............

What do you think Grisha?

The warrior was crouched when he turned his head to regard Blaze over his shoulder. Halfway in his mouth caught between Grisha’s jaws was the poor crab, hammering away at his face with its meaty claws in protest of being devoured.

“Hm?” Grisha queried, he had missed his brother’s discussion.

Big broooo~the~rs!

Grisha straightened and exclaimed happily, “Ah! Baby sister!”

The crab’s claws were latched onto his nose and the bottom eyelid of his right eye, but Grisha didn’t seem bothered by it. When the little girl smacked into his shoulder and plopped to the sandy ground, his eyebrows rose a little in concern.

Is he a brother!?

“Kiko-!” Grisha tried to warn but the little girl was already bolting in the newcomer’s face.

Grisha charged into the water, unceremoniously sending salt water splashing about. He reached up to grab Akiko by her little snow hoody as the crab glanced at the water and took the moment to release his face and plunge to freedom. Holding her by her hood, Grisha explained, “No scare.” He then added snidely. “New brother scared little baby.”

His nostrils then flared as the smell of sweet maple wafted from her breath and he began shaking her. “KIKO EAT FLURRY CAKE AND BRING NONE FOR GRISHA!?”

He then whined, “Grisha hungry!”

Orion

"Ease up big guy. We don’t need to scare him anymore than you already have," the pony-tailed Saiyan said to his burly friend. As introductions pursued, Grisha took the moment to start munching on a live crab, a slightly comical event. However, his attention would quickly be returned to Blaze as he displayed enough energy to make a depression at least as large as his, and let a small shock wave that Orion felt out. He gave a nice speech he's heard many times about defending someone's own until death.

In the midst of all that, a young Saiyan girl followed them.

"Is he a brother!? Is he!? Is he!?"

"So one's powerful, the other has the attention span of a child, and the other is an actual child who doesn't know the difference between stranger and friend."

Orion waited for the commotion to settle down as he and Blaze stared each other down. He almost felt like laughing, and smirked.

"Listen, I really have to say, 'Blaze,'" Orion began, almost in a condescending manner. "That's all real cute. The speech, the display of power, the masking of it, the posse that may be even as strong as you, I really mean all of it. It makes me feel real warm and fuzzy inside. But," Orion spoke, changing from his sarcastic tone to something more serious.

"You made two about your new friend, Orion. The first, I'm not scared. Even though I saw you near the treeline with a show of power beyond mine, I'm not. And that's because of your second mistake; you assumed I'm not willing to die. But I might not die today, Blaze. I have no reason to blow your planet up, or kill all the people on it. In fact, I have plenty of reason not to. But I don't like this fear tactic of yours, and you probably won't believe me until I back my words up."

With that, the newcomer held his hand out in front of him. His aura dissipated as energy gathered in a blue ball. He looked at Blaze, then to Grisha and the little girl in his hand, anticipating a physical reaction from either of them. But for some reason, he was hesitant to fire a blast this time.

"What's it going to be?" His words revealed conflict with his own decision. Orion wasn't sure what to think of the situation he got himself into. It wasn't the thought of dying that made him reluctant. It was the thought of dying for nothing.

Blaze watched Grisha and Akiko for a few moments, shaking his head at their antics until the newcomer, Orion, made his little declaration.

Blaze watched the energy begin to gather in his hands, and Blaze clenched his teeth as he'd had enough of this.

"Orion, is it?" He asked aloud, ignoring Grisha and Akiko.

"I'm sorry, but you've left me no choice." He said.

Blaze threw his fists to both sides and powered up to maximum, his red aura erupting in a brilliant flash of power and light causing the water to throw walls up in all directions and the sand to fly about in a massive tornado around him. The world seemed to shake and quiver as Blaze's energy continued to rise before reaching its peak, and without warning Blaze disappeared. Both his aura and energy signature had disappeared thanks to a new trick he'd learned after observing the fights against the mutants from the tournament, and when he reappeared, it was behind Orion.

Blaze struck out as fast as his hands would allow, using the tips of his fingers to strike several key points along Orion's neck and back which instantly shut down the flow of energy to his hands. The ball of light disappeared, and Orion began floating downward as his energy left him bit by bit. Blaze caught him and let him down gently, setting him on his feet on the ground as he floated down in front of him, his body beginning to flash red a few times as he brought his power down.

"I'm sorry, Orion, but you forced my hand. For the sake of safety, I have struck several key nerve points along your body to shut off your natural flow of energy. You won't be able to power up or form an energy attack for about one hour."

After making his declaration, Blaze floated down and set his feet on the ground.

"You said I used a scare tactic, but I used no such thing against you. However I will admit that I made an inaccurate assumption that you were frightened of us upon arrival. The fact that you attacked first and asked questions later put it in my mind that you were more afraid than anything else. For that inaccurate assumption, I apologize, and I retract it." He said, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

"If you've no objections, Orion, we'll take you to Grisha's village. We'll get you some food and water and provide you with a place to rest. If you were this ready for a fight, especially against your fellow Saiyans, then I don't imagine you've had very good experiences lately. Whatever your circumstances are, we'll hear you out at the village. For now, sit tight, and don't squirm." He said, disappearing and reappearing above Orion as he picked him up by holding the clothing behind his neck.

Not exactly comfortable, but effective.

"Grisha, Akiko… we're going home." He said.

With that, Blaze powered up again and took off towards the village with Orion in hand. He flew fairly quick, but not so quick that the others wouldn't be able to follow. Within a few minutes they reached the village, and Blaze set Orion down as he landed a few paces away and powered down a little bit further to conserve some energy.

"I expect you to behave yourself. Even with your energy cut off you're a lot stronger than the human inhabitants here, so mind your manners alright? I've had enough confrontation for one day, and I can't imagine that Lena will make it any easier to avoid it if you make any trouble." He warned.

Akiko

The over excited Akiko gave a little squeak when Grisha suddenly yanked her away from the new comer. She blinked a couple time as Grisha told her not to scar him. That seemed silly. Who could be afraid of her?! Calling him a baby had Akiko opening her mouth, but she closed it again when the giant whined about pancakes. Akiko quickly crossed her arms and gave a mischievous smile.

"You left Akiko behind, so Akiko ate your pancakes!" She announced gleefully. The child blew a raspberry at her brother, then bolted, possibly ripping the hoody if the giant didn't let go. She was anticipating a whaling Grisha. Akiko didn't get far though. Orion suddenly made his move against Blaze. The spike in power caused the girl to pause and look up at the pare. She had all but forgotten about them for a second while teasing Grisha.

Akiko started to power up in response. She wasn't as strong as her brothers, but that wouldn't stop her from fighting when they were under threat! It was a needless gesture though. Akiko Knew Blaze was strong, but she was still startled by how quickly he ended things. She had barely finished powering up and it was over. Though she didn't generally go looking for a fight, it was almost disappointing after getting so pumped up.... Almost.

"Grisha, Akiko… we're going home."

"Kay!" Akiko called as she followed after Blaze. "Why did our new brother attack us?" She asked, confused Sapphire eyes drifting between Blaze and the new guy. So far, all the Saiyan's Akiko had med were friendly. The worst 'fights' she had with them were simple sparing matches and races with Trish and Mona. That thought Reminded her...

"Griiishaaaa! Akiko will eat the rest of the paaaancaaaakes!" The chibi saiyan teased before suddenly speeding up to blaze through the sky. She wouldn't actually eat all of them, Leana would let her have it if she did. Still, it was fun to get a rise out of her giant brother.

You left Akiko behind, so Akiko ate your pancakes!

Grisha growled when Akiko bolted away from him. His grip on her hoody had been loose enough for her to escape. “Grisha race little brother!”

The sudden, offensive increase in power level had Grisha’s attention going from Akiko to Orion as he threateningly held out a sphere of violent energy that he seemed uncertain of who he would use it on.

What’s it going to be?

New brother was cocky, and he also seemed capable of utilizing energy attacks. Grisha glanced down at his hands as he felt the lingering emotions of alienation and inferiority. He was sure that he was a Saiyan. It was the tail that had bound him to his kin, but why couldn’t he release his energy properly?

I’m sorry, but you’ve left me no choice.

Blaze’s spike in power was abrupt. Before it had taken his brother a few minutes to rise to his max, and now it took only seconds. As Grisha’s clothes shuddered in the winds that twistered around them, he stared at his brother with excitement glinting in his eyes. He was a new challenge. He had grown stronger from his last fight, and it made Grisha all the more eager to spar him. They always seemed neck-and-neck in power with Blaze having the technical advantage, but every fight, Grisha always learned something new about his adversary and about himself. The giant stood as rooted as a stone statue against the hurricane until the fight ended in a few seconds. Blaze had used another one of his pressure point techniques again. Grisha turned an eye over his shoulder curiously, wondering what sort of buttons could be back there for his brother to push and for someone to go as limp as a doll.

Grisha, Akiko...we’re going home.

Grisha looked to Blaze to see him and Akiko dart away with the new warrior.

Grii~ishaa~aa! Akiko will eat the rest of the paa~ncaa~kes!

Grisha snorted. “Grisha get there first!”

As Blaze and Akiko flew next to each other, they would find a wall of arching water shoot upwards between them before dropping back into the ocean. With how fast Grisha had sprinted past them, the competition he had given Blaze before could have been an understatement when food was the motivation. He could only hope that there were some flurry cakes left.

Kousetsu Village

By the time the remaining Z fighters would arrive, they would find Grisha face down pathetically in the snow with several children standing around with folded pancakes in their mittens. Lena was scowling down at him insensitively.

“You big baby, I told you and Akiko to get some. Now you have to wait until dinner,” she scolded with her hands on her hips.

“Hungrrrrry~!” Grisha groaned.

“You can have mine,” one of the children offered. Grisha lifted his head from the snow to see the flurry cake clutched within the boy’s offered, gloved hand. Instantly, the cake was gone along with the boy’s glove.

Lena’s face paled when she saw the missing space where the boy’s hand used to be, and the look on the paralyzed child’s face when he too noticed the space.

“Ah!” Lena screamed as she watched Grisha munch away.

Moments after he swallowed, he coughed up a soggy, cotton glove and Lena felt relief when the child checked his lengthy sleeve to see that his little hand was still attached, but that didn’t chase away the demons that would forever haunt his conscience about what could have occurred. Immediately, the kid ran crying to his parents and Lena dropped her foot against the back of Grisha’s noggin as he returned to his sulking in the snow.

“Grisha! You dummy!”

Orion

"Orion, is it? I'm sorry, you've left me no choice."

In an instant, Blaze began charging to full power. No matter Orion's actions now in combat, he could not bring his opponent to a low enough energy level to do any sort of damage. While his surroundings shook, Orion stood unflinching. He had seen more powerful enemies in his time.

Following Blaze's lead, Orion hopelessly brought forth his maximum strength and speed. Letting his hand drop, he began to focus his energy within himself so he could do as best he could against his new adversary, but he also knew it would be pointless. It was all for show at this point; living up to the statements he had made. Before his eyes, Blaze disappeared, leaving no energy signature in the area around him.

"Where did he go?"

Orion flew forward to where Blaze once was and looked around. There was nothing. Suddenly, Blaze appeared behind him, the back of his shoulder struck. Orion found it hard to turn around with full force, but he managed, kicking with no gain into Blaze's stomach. He was indeed far weaker than this Saiyan.

With his leg outstretched, it gave Blaze opportunity to hit his thigh and calf, locking it up with energy as well. His leg going limp, he focused his energy in his arms, using it for speed and trying to keep up with the quick lash out of energy blocking attacks. For every two he blocked, one strike would hit his body. Then his bicep and elbow were hit. His arms going limp, the last strike launched him at the shore. Lying on his back, he waited for what he thought would be the force of death and excruciating pain to come his way, but instead, Blaze landed nearby and powered down, telling him of his energy blocking technique.

"What do you want with me now...?" Orion questioned, grunting as he propped himself up on his knees and forearms. His body stiff, he wasn't really able to do anything.

Listening to what was being told to him, Orion gathered that the Saiyans he had encountered are not brutal like the ones he had grown up with. They were going to the big beefcake's village, they would talk more there. Blaze appeared somewhere behind him, Orion thought, and the next thing he knew was that he was being carried like an animal in a harness across the sky. They sped northwards, and soon enough snow led the way up to a small gathering of buildings and beings named humans. As Orion was dropped to the ground by Blaze when they landed. Surely enough, Orion was able to stand on his own, and the Saiyan warrior was given a father-like statement from Blaze.

"So you're day has been at least as bad as mine," Orion noted as Blaze apparently had "enough confrontation for one day."

Witnessing an episode of Grisha being consumed by his own hunger, Orion's stomach sent vibrations through the air even Blaze could feel, standing a few feet away. It had been two weeks since he actually had anything to eat, and being accustomed to the feeling of hunger from ample time in a space pod like his, he only needed one thing to set the trigger off for him.

Even so, it wasn't his food he could demand, and he wasn't exactly in a position to receive things from people who were friends with an opponent who made no work of him within seconds.

"So where do we go now, Captain?"

[i]"So where do we go now, Captain?"[/b] Orion asked.

Blaze shrugged.

"Not sure, but I can tell your stomach has something in mind so I think it's best we go ask Lena." He said.

Blaze walked over towards where Grisha and Lena were… but he did so slowly. Grisha was getting a boot on the head with Lena calling him a 'dummy', so Blaze came forward very cautiously.

"Um… Lena? I hate to tear you away from your, well, activities, but it seems our newest arrival is ravenously hungry. I'm not sure when his last meal was, but it has to have been a while." He said, waiting for Lena to turn around.

"Come to think of it, I'm kind of hungry too. You wouldn't have anything to eat would you?" He asked.

Akiko

Akiko was feeling pretty happy with herself until a wall of water shot up between herself and blaze, causing the chibi saiyan to squeak in surprise. After blinking after the giant for moment, Akiko burst into giggles. "He's gonna eat the whole village!" Of course that was a bit of an exaggeration, but the mental picture of Grisha eating a village of ginger bread houses and cake people made the chibi saiyan giggle. She was so caught up in it that Blaze's ignoring her question went completely unnoticed.

When they touched down, Akiko watched Grisha's antics, followed by Lena's swift retribution, with a mischievous grin. "Big brother! Hands are not for eating!" She teased almost gleefully. Akiko was generally good but, well she was still a child, not a perfect little angel. "Lena! Lena! Lookie! We have a new brother! Orion! He can stay too right?!" The chibi saiyan called before turning her sapphire eyes on the new arrival.

"So where do we go now, Captain?"

"Not sure, but I can tell your stomach has something in mind so I think it's best we go ask Lena."

As Blaze walked towards Lena and Grisha, Akiko attempted to snag Orion's hand so that she could pull him along to join the group. "Common brother! You have to meet everyone! Maybe our sisters will wake up soon! You'll like them!" If she caught hold of their new brother, Akiko would bounce happily on her toes as she pulled on him. Though, she didn't throw all of her strength into it, mindful of the fact that she could likely pull him off his feet with what blaze had done to him a few minuets ago.

"That's Lena! Grandpa's here somewhere! Then, then you can meet Akiko's friends! Do you like tag?! What about hide and seek?!" Akiko was more than happy to welcome their new brother without question. Meeting more people like themselves was always a treat to her after growing up on a planet with no saiyans or humans. "Lena is the best cook ever! Oh!" Her voice suddenly dropped into a whisper. "But dun say bad words or you have to eat soap! It tastes really bad!" The little girl had learned that the hard way. "Maybe we can make a good tasting soap! It should taste like honey! Do you like Honey?" Some times it was hard for Akiko to stop once she got on a roll, especially when she was excited.

Um...Lena?

Lena’s eyes darted in Blaze’s direction as he crept toward her. The toe of her boot was seemingly twisting a hole in Grisha’s skull.

...it seems our newest arrival is ravenously hungry...

The blonde’s brows shot upwards in surprise when she noted Orion’s existence. Another one?

Lowering her boot from Grisha’s noggin, she thought aloud, “Where are all of you coming from? First it started with Grisha, then Blaze, Akiko, Trish, Mona, and now you!”

She pointed at Orion. Raising her hands to her head she closed her eyes and groaned softly. Each one carried the appetite of ten men. How was she supposed to feed them all?

“No!” Tobias interjected. “No, no, no! It’s never going to end. They’ll keep bringing more and more to eat us out of house and home, and already we have to deal with that one there!”

He pointed at Grisha. “They are grown men and women...”

He glanced at Akiko for a second and then continued his protest speech, “If they can level an entire village, then they can feed themselves!”

Grisha sprang to his feet before Tobias, causing the ground to shake when he landed and a wave of snow to rise and push the man over. “Grisha no cook good like Lena!”

Tobias sprouted from under the snow and growled up at the giant, “If you spent less time stuffing your face, then you might have learned!”

“Say stinky soup man!”

“My soup is good for you!”

Lena was blushing after Grisha’s flattery. With her hands hiding the blush that had gathered on her cheeks, she said, “Maybe I can cook just this once.”

“NO;YES!” Tobias and Grisha screamed in unison.

Grisha and Tobias then gave each other the stink eye. As he stood there glaring, Grisha suddenly remembered something. Breaking eye contact, he turned from the group and started strolling away.

“No problem,” was all he said as a long and naughty smile stretched on his face.

He had forgotten all about the mainland. He had connections there who would be more than happy to feed him.

Lena regarded Grisha suspiciously and called after him, “Grisha! Where do you think you’re going?”

“Hunting,” Grisha simply lied.

Lena frowned at his back a little and then looked to the others. “If you bring the food, then I’ll cook it. Blaze, Akiko, and Grisha know where to find it.”

Little did they know, Grisha hadn’t left to go hunt but secretly left to the mainland.

Blaze floated down in front of Lena, smiling innocently while scratching the back of his head with a small chuckle to accompany it.

"Well Grisha is… Umm…" He stopped scratching his head when he realized he didn't know where the giant had gone.

Blaze turned away and closed his eyes, sensing for Grisha. It took him a few moments to pinpoint that familiar energy, but once he had he opened his eyes and turned to Lena.

"He's… not around at the moment." He said, turning to Tobias who was giving him the evil eye.

"Hey come on Tobias! I didn't drop them on you so no harm no foul right?" He asked, hands outwards in an innocent gesture.

Then… From out of nowhere, a new energy signal appeared.

Blaze snapped around, looking just passed Lena's head with a murderous glare and teeth bared. Had Lena not been standing close enough to realize Blaze wasn't directing it at her, she may well have thought as much. Blaze powered up with a yell, sending energy flying every which way as he launched himself into the air passed Lena and threw a punch at the open air. Then, his punch was being held in a fist that appeared out of the blue.

It was a creature very similar to the one Blaze had fought to protect Dawn a few days ago, but this one was a bit stronger. If his current power was anything to go by, he wasn't as powerful as Blaze and the fight could be ended easily enough, but there was something pulling at him inside as if to say "it's not your turn." Blaze pulled back and floated away from the strange creature, a pale skinned humanoid alien with a long whip-like tail and a few scars along his chest. Blaze floated to a stop a short distance away, glaring down the new arrival as he let his energy settle, calming the mini storm around them as his opponent looked to him with a wicked glare of his own.

"You're the Saiyan that slaughtered my comrade the other day aren't you?" It asked.

Blaze nodded slowly.

"Hmph, you're smaller than I expected, but I remember your energy well enough. You escaped me that day because I was too far away to help my friend, but I'm here now and I intend to make you suffer for what you did." He declared, beginning the slow process of powering up.

Blaze did a quick comparison, looking back to Orion who was still here in the village watching from nearby and almost seemed as anxious to get at this thing as Blaze was. Blaze looked back at the creature, then to Orion again, and looked at the creature one last time.

"You want to fight me, but I'm not in the mood." He said, powering down almost all the way as he floated to the ground.

"If you don't fight, then you will DIE!!" He yelled, powering up as far as he could and charging Blaze.

Blaze himself powered up to maximum instantly, stopping the attack cold by simply letting it land. The alien backed away and looked at his hand, twitching in pain as he growled at Blaze. Once again, Blaze powered down.

"I told you, I'm not in the mood. If you want to fight someone, fight him." Blaze said, gesturing to Orion.

"His power is much closer to yours, and I think he'd make a better test of your skills than I would. If you fight with me, I'll just kill you and be done with it. Sensing your energy ruined my good mood, so I'll think nothing of letting the chance for a decent fight slip away. However, I doubt my new friend would appreciate that very much." He responded.

The alien growled and looked at Orion.

"Fine then!" He yelled, powering up again and preparing to engage.

Blaze looked to Orion.

"You might want to power up now." He recommended.

Orion

"C'mon brother! You have to meet everyone! Maybe our sisters will wake up soon! You'll like them!"

Before Orion had the chance to fully digest what was going on, he was pulled by the surprisingly strong Saiyan child. She hopped along, taking his hand, pointing out who everyone was. It didn't particularly matter what happened now, to Orion. If he was going to get food, he was going to get food. If he wasn't, in about one hour when he had regained his energy, he'd be able to fly off and get food himself.

After the fact, Orion noticed that Blaze and Grisha, after having an argument with an older human and a blonde woman named Lena, flew off to somewhere. The argument seemed to be about food; was there to be any or not? Missing the discussion, Akiko rambled on as she was anxious to show the new arrival off to all of her friends.

For some reason, the thought occurred to him that she was the youngest Saiyan he'd seen. Their race was already endangered, with their home world destroyed and the remnants of the race presumably hunted down by other powerful alien lords. Seeing the chibi Saiyan reminded him of what his gruff time was like being raised by brutish warriors, and the punishments he'd receive for sometimes no particular reason.

It wouldn't be so terrible to just take things as they come, would it?

The Next Hour

Even with snow all around, it didn't seem to phase Orion. He had been on colder planets for longer, and was used to using his energy for warmth. Thinking of it, he had full control of his energy now. Making sure what Blaze had said in their initial encounter was true, Orion's power fluctuated a bit.

Soon enough, Blaze returned with a pig pile of different animals. Food at last. Orion came forth as Blaze, Lena, and Tobias exchanged words. He could hardly care about what they had to say, as his stomach grumbled again. He stood, staring as a silence overtook the scene. He simply waited to see what the silence was about.

The answer came as a tailed white alien landed at the village, and a mediocre introduction came between it and Blaze.

"You escaped me that day because I was too far away to help my friend, but I'm here now and I intend to make you suffer for what you did."

It appeared that the planet, Earth, was attacked by a similar race beforehand. There was something oddly familiar about the figure of this one, but Orion had seen so many aliens he couldn't recall where he had seen it.

The alien charged Blaze, who was hopelessly stronger than the alien. Seeing this, Orion observed that he had a chance as long as he could maintain speed. However, he wasn't sure if he was physically stronger or not.

"If you want to fight someone, fight him," Blaze deferred.

"You're gonna make me work for my food, aren't you?" Orion said sarcastically with a smirk.

It could've been that, or Blaze was trying to see exactly how useful Orion would be to them. He looked back at Akiko, then forward again.

"Fine then!"

With the alien's attention, Orion powered to about half his full potential. Before he would reveal his full strength, he would need an opening to strike.

"You know, something seems oddly familiar about you, I can't exactly remember what it is that keeps pulling at me," Orion voiced.

"Yes, and your armor surely means that you are a Saiyan," the alien told Orion, letting his power flow about. "You Saiyans stain the universe worse than any rodent you could find!"

"Well then you might not want to touch me, you might get contaminated!" Orion goaded.

"Ragh!" With the alien's full might behind the rush, Orion put all the power he was using at the moment into dodging. Jumping to the side, the alien put down a flurry of punches and kicks. For a moment, Orion dodge each one while his power level rose to meet the occasion, moving to the sides, then ducking, then as the alien's tail came to whip him about he jumped far up into the air. He'd rather not silly obstacles like houses or people get in the way. Frustrated, the alien pursued.

A succession of heavy strikes came at Orion, each one missed, but the opponent was careful not to overcompensate. Darting around the sky, it would be a moment after a combo of strikes that two would finally find Orion, one in the stomach, the second was a slam from the tail right in the chest. Orion was hit towards the ground; he caught himself as he back flipped and landed one one knee.

"I'm not sure if this guy will actually decrease his power, the force of those were stronger than anything I could throw out there."

"You're friend is on the ropes. I'm not sure he can actually handle this," the alien stated, gloating to himself in laughter.

"Hey, do the names Kafth, Toruk, Girau, or Vinsus ring a bell to you?" Orion asked. Even though it is a bit off topic from the fight, the alien had to be under one of those alien lords.

"Well, it's after you're dead, those names will have no meaning to your Saiyan filth. But yes, Lord Toruk-"

"Lord Toruk!? Well doesn't that make things personal," Orion interrupted. The two looked at one another before the alien vanished in movement, though his energy could be traced. He reappeared, landing a swift punch on Orion's cheek. The Saiyan thought nothing of it and jumped back.

It seemed the alien had a clue as to who Orion was now, as he lashed out once again with full force. Still, Orion maintained the current posture in the battle of concentrating all his energy into dodging.

"I'll bring your head back to Lord Toruk as throne decore."

Akiko

Akiko was having a grand time introducing her newest brother around. It seemed like there were more of them every day! Soon the chibi saiyan would have more family than she could count! Maybe more than could even fit on the island! That would be so exciting! The little girl was pulled from her thoughts when she caught Tobias and Lena talking about the food. Grandpa could be so grumpy! At least Lena knew what to do!

“If you bring the food, then I’ll cook it. Blaze, Akiko, and Grisha know where to find it.”

Akiko hadn't actually been hunting yet. In fact, she'd never eaten meat before landing on earth. The desert planet that the little girl had landed on had been inhabited by a peaceful race of herbivores. There were carnivores on her planet but they were all simple animals, not humanoids. Akiko actually felt a little guilty eating meat, or rather, having to kill things to eat. Still, she was hungry! What was going to grow in this cold place anyway? It also tasted grate! There was nothing that the little girl to compare it to from her home.

----------------------------One hour later----------------------------------

Akiko flew into the nearby woods and found a rabbit. It was easy enough for her to catch, but killing it was another story. It would have been easy enough physically for Akiko to snap the creature's neck... It wasn't as though she hadn't killed an opponent once before. Yet... As she stood there holding the fluffy thing, Akiko found it hard to follow through. Fighting and killing someone who was trying to kill you in fair combat was one thing, but killing a creature that posed no threat at all was another.

The chibi sayian stood there holding her 'pray' for a long time before setting it down with a sigh and watching it run away. She may be able to eat a cooked meal when it was presented, but she couldn't kill something so harmless...

Akiko returned to the village just in time to see Blaze drop his load of dead animals and land. Seeing that did nothing to ease her conscience. But they weren't doing anything wrong, right? They had to eat something... right? She had to repeat it in her mind to convince herself. Akiko landed nearby as Lena and Tobias spoke. It was sort of Funny to see the old man huff about. Like Blaze, the child was surprised when Lena commented that Grisha wasn't about, and felt him out, eventually turning towards the mainland. Unfortunately, where Blaze showed some tact, Akiko did not. "Why's he way back there?" She wondered aloud. "An why not take Akiko?!" The later was accompanied by a bit of a huff as the child crossed her arms. He left her behind again!

The chibi saiyan didn't have too much time to pout though. Blaze's sudden power up quickly caught Akiko's attention. She watched in awe as Blaze threw a punch and caught a monster's hand before it could land a sneak attack! "Yay Blaze!" She cheered in excitement as she powered up to about half of her full power herself. Blaze could easily handle a creature with such a low power level, but Akiko couldn't contain herself. She was still a saiyan after all. Blaze's attitude towards the pending fight left Akiko confused, at least at first.

You want to fight me, but I'm not in the mood." Blaze said

"If you don't fight, then you will DIE!!" Yelled the alien.

"I told you, I'm not in the mood. If you want to fight someone, fight him." Blaze answered. "His power is much closer to yours, and I think he'd make a better test of your skills than I would. If you fight with me, I'll just kill you and be done with it. Sensing your energy ruined my good mood, so I'll think nothing of letting the chance for a decent fight slip away. However, I doubt my new friend would appreciate that very much."

Then it clicked. The same way Akiko hadn't wanted to kill the rabbit, Blaze wasn't keen on killing this challenger. It wouldn't be a fair fight. The only difference was this guy wanted to fight, and he could hurt other people on the planet if left alone, just not the group of saiyans.

That difference made it a hard choice, but luckily Orion was there to answer the call!

"You know, something seems oddly familiar about you, I can't exactly remember what it is that keeps pulling at me," Orion voiced.

"Yes, and your armor surely means that you are a Saiyan," the alien told Orion "You Saiyans stain the universe worse than any rodent you could find!"

"Well then you might not want to touch me, you might get contaminated!" Orion goaded.

"Ragh!" And it was on!

"You can do it Orion!" Akiko cheered even as she powered down. This wasn't her fight, but that didn't mean she couldn't lend moral support! "Show that butt face who's strongest!"

After that, Akiko's sapphire eyes never left the fight. She bounced on her toes and watched every blow. Though, a little squeal of fear left the chibi saiyan when Orion was knocked to the ground. She even took a couple steps forward before being able to reel herself in.

"You're friend is on the ropes. I'm not sure he can actually handle this," the alien stated

"Hey, do the names Kafth, Toruk, Girau, or Vinsus ring a bell to you?" Orion asked.

"Well, it's after you're dead, those names will have no meaning to your Saiyan filth. But yes, Lord Toruk-"

"Lord Toruk!? Well doesn't that make things personal,"

Akiko had no idea who Lord Toruk was, but he probably wasn't as strong as Grisha and Blaze! A few more blows between the two, then that stupid alien was gloating again!

"I'll bring your head back to Lord Toruk as throne decore."

Akiko stomped her little feet in the snow and balled her hands int fists as she whipped her tail. "You couldn't beat a cold so shut your stupid face before brother shuts it for you!" Akiko yelled. She followed up her taunt by blowing a raspberry at the ugly faced bully. "Get'em Orion! Get'em! Get'em!" Akiko couldn't help powering up to 20% again as she yelled. There was no way a brother of hers could lose! Not ever! Unless they were fighting Lena of course.
