Why were we back here. Clary and Jace had called us to the New York institute have an important talk. They'd invited both Tessa and I to see them at 12 in the afternoon. Its been a while since we have actuall stood on the stepsto this place. Haha last time we did, we didnt have our son Tristan. This was his first ever look at where shadowhunters trained. And by god did he look shocked. It was bigger than it was last time and it had a bit more colour than the gloominess he was used too. Knocking on the door to it only open up by itself. We walked in a headed tothe training roo, where they said they would be. Walking there, we walked past a lot of kids Tristans age.

Finally we got to the trainingroom on the otherside of the institute. We poked our head in and see Jace and Clary sweating and puffed on the floor.
"Jace!. Clary!" Tessa said rushing up to them. I turned around to Tristan. "Do you want to go for a walk?. We might be here for a while and you never know you might make some new friends"I say. With that he leaves and I close the door behind us.

Well thanks Dad. Yeah i know how to make friends with shadowhunters like me. Well im half warlock half shadowhunter. I only bare a warlock mark. But im a shadowhunter. Anyway, i dont really know where im going in this place. I suppose i might as well try finding someone. Walking down the corridors, there is a lot of paintings. Dad loved painting. Woah. Half of these were of angels. But whilst looking at the paintings i run into a guy with really red hair.
"Watch where your going!" The red haired boy said. He looked super pissed off when he looked at me. " Who the hell are you?" He asks.
"Tristan Carstairs. Nice to meet you. And you are?" I ask, trying to create conversation.
"Christopher Herondale, You're a Carstairs? Your dad is James Carstairs?". I nod
"Thats me. Do you mind showing me around? I have no clue where i am going mate?". I politely say.
"Umm. Sure. I need to clear my head anyway. Mighy be a nice way to cool off" he says, with a little laugh.
With that i had made my first friend. Christopher Herondale

Christopher Herondale

Christopher made his way around the whole Institute, running through the rooms and corridors to try and calm himself down. When he got in a mood like this though it was difficult for that to happen.
He rounded a corner when he ran straight into a boy that he'd never seen before. This just made Christopher even more furious than he had been.
"Watch where you're going!" He shouted in the mysterious boy's face, then looked him up and down from head to toe, "Who the hell are you?"
"Tristan Carstairs," The boy replied, "Nice to meet you. And you are?"
"Christopher Herondale." Christopher replied and then after deciding that this guy needed further judgement to deem him worthy of his time, "You're a Carstairs? Your father is James Carstairs?"
Tristan nodded. "That's me. Do you mind showing me around? I have no clue where I'm going mate."
"Ugh, sure. I need to clear my head anyway. Might be a nice way to cool off." Christopher chuckled, giving his best performance, luring Tristan in so he could give a clear judgement on him later, even though one thing was already clear:

Tristan would never be up to Christopher's standard.

Just as Tristan began to walk off, expecting Christopher to follow, Christopher lied, "Actually I have somewhere I have to be right now. I guess I'll see you later." and he hurried off down the halls.

Hazel Bane

The door opened just the slightest so Hazel could just see Celine's face. This offer has sparked Hazel's curiosity, Celine and her had barely anything to so with each other but yet Celine had given her this huge thing. Hazel tried to be as nonthreatening as possible. She smiled big at her and said "Um...Hey Celine, I'm guessing that you left this by my door and I really appreciate it but I can't accept this." Hazel offered it towards her but Celine pushed it back. "Celine I feel weird accepting this huge gift from you just because your brother was being a dickhead." Hazel insisted trying again to offer it but Celine pushed it back more firmly this time. This way beyond strange.

Hazel didn't know what to say. She watched Celine's eyes look towards her awkward feather. Oh god not her too, Hazel way beyond sick of her mark today. Hazel's eyes darted to her feet as she shuffled them with an awkward embarrassment. "You know if you let Magnus cast a healing spell your wing will get better." Celine's whisper burst into Hazel's thoughts as if she has just shouted at her. Hazel couldn't barely remember what Celine's voice sounded like. She looked up and frowned at Celine with confusion, then quick as lightning Celine gave a final shove of the book and closed the door in Hazel's face. Hazel just started at the door for a few seconds then turned around slowly and began to walk back up the hall in great bewilderment.

It took a few minutes of wandering to catch up with her thoughts. Did Celine really just talk to her? By this time her anger over Christopher had been forgotton. Hazel headed back to her room to put the book away then realised that she still hadn't got food. Hazel chucked on a yellow shirt and jeans, grabbed her purse, phones and headphones and started heading down the halls with the intention of getting something to eat at a cafe that she liked when she practically crashed into a stranger in the halls. "Ummm...hi...sorry," she said confused once again "Who are you?".

I had somehow lost Christopher. Dont ask me how. Alright. I lose focus quickly. I was deep in thought when i didnt notice that a girl in a yellow shirt was walking straight towards me really fast. She mus have been deep in thought because she was not looking where she was goin and ran straight into me. She looked up from the ground and said
'Ummm...hi...sorry." she stopped speakig for a second then continued on
"Who are you?" She asks.
"Hey. Im Tristan Carstairs. Who are you?" I say with the brightest voice i could.
"Hazel Bane. Nice to meet you too. I have to go." She says, walking away as though she was deep in thought. I decided to let her leave. As i watch her leave, i wonder, what is going through that girls head. I hope its not to much. Hopefully i can see her and Christopher before mum and dad are finished here. To be honest, i dont really want mum and dad to get involved in violence again. But with that said, i head slowly back to the training room. Passing by the garden i see the litte girl, Hazel. Shes sitting down, by herself. With her earphones in. Eating cake. I smile. Now i must find my parents
