Dijkstra's Story

In the city of Yithin where doom rises with each passing moment,the taskmaster of Yithin walks down the stairs of the barracks as he carrys a chained mail armour and a long blood stained axe in his left hand.The demon task master inspects every inch of the barracks and outside with those bloodthirsty eyes.As he opens the creeky gates,he spots Dijkstra.The blood through his vains pumps faster by looking at the strong beast."You!.....You are choosen to do this task,and you cannot decline this....The price is too tempting for a beast like you to resist."He licks his lips in circles with that twisted tounge going on every side of his lips."You need to kill the great Archlord Garazuth,that betrayed us....And made our units fall to the veary ground our blood still lies on!....Bring me his head....And you will get 500 gold and.....A royal feast with the Great Mage himself.....If you are interested in any armour or weapon...I will forge it for you..With the great demon power I keep inside of me."He stares at Dijkstra for some time and waits for the beasts reply as he points his finger at the great beast.

Dijkstra had been waiting for the Task-Master to arrive for some time and as soon as he heard the rusty gates of the barracks open he stood up from the bench that he was sitting on, lifted his shield on to his shoulder and met the Task-Master's gaze.

"I won't need your armour and weapons, I have my own...", Dijkstra started to walk towards the Taskmaster, "...and I want half of the gold up front. I'm a Sword-for-Hire not a thief."

Dijkstra removed his helm, he knew the Task-Master well so knew he wasn't of any threat, and held it under his arm. Dijkstra wasn't known for taking his helm off when others were around but the Task-Master had seen the scars that covered his face before. Declining the task had never crossed Dijkstra's mind, he needed the gold, but after hearing that he would be going up against Garazuth he knew it was going to be more difficult than he had originally thought. Also, the reward for Garazuth's head was too high to turn down as Dijkstra had been waiting to meet the Great Mage for many years. The Great Mage rarely kept the company of Mercenarys and Warriors, instead he surrounded himself with other Mages, they never understood the use of physical force. If Dijkstra could meet the Great Mage, even if it was just the once, he could ask for training.

The taskmaster starts to laugh at the beasts reply with a veary hraspy voice and awnsers to Dijkhsta's question."He is not far my great beast...Go to the south road and you will spot a Medium sized dark statue of him.There lies a temple wich he lives in.But he has backup.A few necromancers,lowly trained,easy for you to crush them with a single blow.But....The effects of Garazuth are mostly painfull when it comes to spells over time damage.He does have a weak spot,accoridng to what most of my scouts say.Crash every glowing orb that enhances his power.Than he is useless.Kill him,and you get a fine 500 gold and the dinner with the legendery mage himself..."He than grins at the beast as he sticks his tounge out with a death gaze,giving Dijkhsta a instant eye to eye contact messege he NEEDS him killed."Off you go my great beast...Show us that you will make our revenge come true..."The taskmaster slowly turns around and enters the barrack bringing the news to the fellow soldiers great news and to prepare the dinner.This day may finally come true for both the taskmaster..And the Dijkhsta...
